Meat N Greek in Übach-Palenberg

Leider gestern hier den schlechtesten Gyros Teller komplett meines Lebens bekommen. Fleisch war tot, ein Salatblatt mit einer Orangenscheibe. Wofür die gut sein soll erschließt sich nicht für mich. Portion war auch sehr üppig. Die Tische und das Tischuntergestelle könnten auch mal eine Reinigung vertragen. Personal nett naja. War vor Jahren und über Jahre hinweg echt mal ein Brett die Bude. Aber so eher PLEITE! Bewertung wenn möglich Minus 5

Als ich das letzte Mal bestellt habe, waren die Pommes steinhart und ungenießbar. Sie sahen aus wie aufgewärmtes, altes Essen. Außerdem fehlte dreimal das Tzatziki. „Ich werde es dem Koch sagen“, meinte ein Mitarbeiter. Das hilft mir aber nicht weiter.

Wirklich super lecker gegessen, tolle preise tolle leute!

Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir haben drei Gerichte zum Liefern bestellt, die erst nach etwa einer Stunde ankamen. Beim Auspacken mussten wir feststellen, dass bei einem Gericht die Pommes komplett gefehlt haben. Da das Essen nicht gerade günstig ist, haben wir sofort angerufen und auf die fehlenden Pommes hingewiesen. Uns wurde zugesichert, dass diese nachgeliefert werden. Am Ende mussten wir jedoch nochmal rund 40 Minuten warten und das nur für eine Portion Pommes. So ein Service ist wirklich ärgerlich und passt absolut nicht zum Preisniveau. Insgesamt sehr unzufrieden. Essen ist dafür Super, evtl. Pommes nicht so dunkel werden lassen...

War letzte Woche nach jahren wieder dort hatte mir eine normale Portion extra telefonisch vorbestellt die Antwort hieß ca 10min zum abholen bereit. Angekommen hieß es plötzlich sei noch nicht Fertig 15min später höflich nachgefragt keine Reaktion 5min später kamm die Frage was ich den bestellt hätte 🤔 ich ne Portion Gyros 10min später war es dann mal fertig und musste 12,50€ bezahlen ??? Ich dachte nur ist das Fleisch aus Gold oder was ? Naja zuhause angekommen ersten bissen genommen und festgestellt das dass Fleisch total Trocken war und geschmacklich kein Highlight war

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit mit der Familie und unserem Hund. Das Essen war köstlich und der Service sehr aufmerksam. Als Vorspeise bekamen wir ein Brötchen mit Dips gratis dazu. Die Pizza war riesig (30 cm), deshalb bekam unsere Tochter eine Tüte für zu Hause. Die Portionen von Gyros und griechischen Spießen waren genau richtig! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Nach einem Jahr habe ich mich nochmal getraut zu bestellen. Es hat sich was in richtung verbesserung getan. Bohnensalat 2,50€ es fehlte der gewisse Geschmack ich würde da ein kräftiges essig dressing und zwiebeln hinzufügen. Die bohnen waren wässig aber er hat halt nur 2,50 gekostet daher ok. Gyrosteller war richtig gut So stelle ich mir einen Gyrosteller vor zazicki auch super lecker. Der Cheesopenjo burger war leider etwas lasch es fehlte sauce und das fleisch war eher langweilig aber nichts was man nicht mit ein bisschen pfeffer und salz in den griff kriegen würde. alles in allem bin ich nicht begeistert aber zufrieden. in Schulnoten eine 4 + bis 3-

Köstliches griechisches Essen und freundliches Personal

Immer gutes Essen, egal was man bestellt. Super Preis Leistungs Verhältnis, Service immer top, wir gehen sehr gerne hier essen.

Wenn ich Familie und Freunde in Limburg besuche, gehe ich abends immer gerne hier essen. Es ist eines meiner liebsten griechischen Restaurants in der Gegend!

Vor ca. 4 Monaten zu dritt dort gegessen, war soweit alles gut. Gestern ein Pita Gyros zum Mitnehmen, den konnte ich zu Hause entsorgen. Gute Portion Fleisch mit etwas Tzatziki und ein wenig Krautsalat zusamnengequetscht. Total trocken. Dann lieber zum "tat" am Wasserturm

Naja... Die Preise draußen an der Wand stimmen nicht mit den Preisen auf der Speisekarte überein. Als erster Gast nach der Öffnung ca. 45 Minuten auf einen überbacken Gyros und Salat zu warten, ist wohl doch etwas zu lange. Der Gyros war trocken, teilweise wie verbrannt und mit sehr viel Sehnen, was ich so noch nirgend bekommen habe. Somit wurde nicht alles gegessen. Zur Sauberkeit, die Tische könnten auch einmal unten gereinigt werden. Fazit: Ich werde dort bestimmt nicht mehr gesehen.

War im Sommer mit dem Motorrad unterwegs und hatte Hunger, hilt an und habe bei sehr netten Personal mein Essen bestellt. Es war sehr lecker und ich hatte mehr als reichlich zu Essen bekommen. Da ich zu der Haubtstoßzeit dort war, musste ich etwas länger warten. Ich war glücklich und zufrieden und komme bestimmt wieder. Danke Kornelius von Nitz

Very nice restaurant! We went there as a group and everyone loved it. Even I, a vegetarian, was able to put together something for myself from the side dishes. The service was friendly and quick. Thank you, we'll be happy to return and would happily recommend it to others. The price-performance ratio is absolutely justified.

The price is a bit high for a gyro plate, but the quality, especially of the meat, could unfortunately be improved. Service was friendly.

When you want to get something to eat and see that the gyro skewer is still full, you are sent away with the words “There are no more gyros left!”.

The food is truly outstanding—fresh, authentic, and delicious! The service was also very friendly and attentive. The only minor drawback is the ambiance, which could be a bit more cozy or modern. But anyone who comes primarily for good Greek food will be absolutely satisfied here!

The owner/operator changed some time ago. Afterward, I picked up food there four times. When we got home, we discovered four times that my orders hadn't been processed correctly. "No onions," "Metaxa sauce instead of tzatziki," "No coleslaw, please,"... were all ignored. The food tasted OK, though. Update 07/28/2025: For the reasons mentioned above, I haven't been there in a while. Since my regular Greek restaurant is currently on vacation, I tried again. I ordered a "Schnitzel a la Chef" with Metaxa sauce instead of cream sauce over the phone. The answer was: "No problem!" What did I unpack at home? A schnitzel with cream sauce. Fifth failed attempt in a row :-(

There were two of us there. The chicken pan is highly recommended. The liver pan with peppers and onions was also delicious, although the liver could have been sliced thinner. Our request for a smaller portion was unfortunately not accommodated. The service was still friendly, and the wait for the food was reasonable. The outdoor area is attractively designed. Large parasols provide shade. Numerous flowers are a delight in the summer. Unfortunately, the restaurant is located on a road frequently used by trucks.

After two hours, the food finally arrived. Burnt meat and fries. Everything was rock hard!

We just ordered, and the food didn't arrive for about two hours. When we called the first time, after 1:20, we were told the food was already ready and they were waiting for the driver. After another 30 minutes and another call, the food finally arrived. The fries were rock hard and the gyro was burnt. Sorry, but for a €55 order, I expect at least fresh food if it's already taking two hours. We got two bottles of Coke, I think as an apology, and that was nice, thank you. But we all would have preferred properly prepared food.

Ordered gyros and a grill plate. Delivery was fast, but that was about it. The grill plate was a mini portion of gyros, almost as fine as coarse ground meat. The meat tasted like burnt meat. That was it. For €35 including delivery, that's pretty steep. The meat on the grill plate was a mini medallion and a skewer. A shame.

We often order food there, I can only recommend it

Good food, friendly service, some inattention eating could be better

The food is great and the atmosphere is also very nice. But the service and the way we deal with customers leaves a lot to be desired. After a visit with a friend, the patio chair broke its leg and my smartphone was significantly damaged. After informing the owner, I and my friend only heard that the owner did not have liability insurance and did not want to pay for the property damage. I had to hand the matter over to a lawyer. I was lucky that I didn't suffer a serious head injury because I only fell 10 cm next to a steel tube parasol.

We ordered at 8:45 pm and never received the food! We tried calling but no one answered. Unacceptable. PS: We have a camera doorbell and can always see if someone is at the door and get a notification when someone rings. Nobody came to us. If you couldn't find the address, you should have called us. Nobody has contacted us.

Inexpensive, large portions, there are even pizza rolls with very tasty cream cheese dips on the house as an appetizer. TOP

Today's Pita Gyros was definitely too dry. There were a few things missing for my taste (not enough tzatziki, not enough coleslaw, onions too roughly chopped). The meat and the pita were great

First of all, everything was way too greasy for 85 € worth of food. Bread with tzatziki was good. Pizza was dripping grease from it. Grilled pepperoni simply heated in a microwave. These have not seen a grill plate, which is a pity. Unfortunately, this is not worth repeating. Sick of it, one star is still too much.

We ordered by phone, drove 15 minutes to Meat N Greek and then they said they didn't have anything left 😂 Really great service, it was agreed that we would get it! Didn't get any food at the end

Good address for Greek cuisine with the usual dishes...from gyros, grilled plates to pizza etc... the gyro meat is top...well seasoned...neither dry nor greasy...the french fries are also good ...but in my case some of them were fried several times and therefore very hard...Ideally there is salad of your choice from the buffet...the buffet is ok...although not with a huge selection...but it has to be not... the main thing is fresh... and that's it... various additional dressings or vinegar and oil was unfortunately not noted on the bottles...so it's not possible to see what's in the bottles...that doesn't really make sense... Krombacher was apparently taken off the tap as a beer...unfortunately the only thing on offer at the moment was Bitburger from the bottle...all in all, this restaurant is definitely worth visiting again...especially since the price was right...and there was an ouzo on the house at the end...👍

The reception and service were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food came very quickly and tasted excellent, whether it was gyros, liver or schnitzel. The prices are absolutely humane. We will definitely come more often.

Didn't meet our expectations Veal skewers are shown on the menu with rice, then served with fries. Dough rolls with sheep's cheese ordered but served partly with only traces of sheep's cheese, or without sheep's cheese. Complaint ignored. We'll never visit the restaurant again. We're not used to that in Greek restaurants.

Burnt cheeseburger, when this was pointed out over the phone, I was told that I had credit with you. There was also something wrong in the order, so it was said that the order had been different

I have to revise my TOP rating from 8 months ago. Yesterday we had a slice of melon with currywurst with fries, a mustard salad dressing with the gyros and the gyros were gratinated and dripping with oil. Not enough fries….salad was missing…. What's wrong with you ?????? The picture is 8 months old, the food still tasted good...

Gyros was very tasty. Meat not dry and pleasantly salted. The fries were crispy, fresh and hot, it couldn't be better :-) Drinks and food were quickly served for a group of 7. Parking is rather difficult at peak times as there weren't many on-street spaces. Pork medallions and bifteki were also super tasty and can be recommended.

A small café where there is good coffee and tea. There is also a delicious piece of homemade cake or soup, or sandwiches. If the weather is nice you can also sit outside. Parking spaces are available.

Friendly staff, food tastes good and the prices are fair.

Our first visit there and we were pleasantly surprised. It is very cozy, the food is very tasty and filling, with moderate prices. The cocktails are great and I even got a small cake for my birthday 🥰♥️. The Uozo after dinner is traditionally on the house. I would recommend everyone to tip appropriately as the service staff is very competent and friendly. For us, this is good form. We are extremely happy there and feel very comfortable. At the weekend, a table reservation would be an advantage; friendly dogs (but only one furry friend per family) are also welcome there. During the asparagus season, fresh asparagus dishes are also offered here. Very tasty and also very popular.

The restaurante is very nice and the service is very nice. The food is quite cheap compared to other restaurants and is also ready quite quickly and the food is very tasty and the plates are very large. The drinks are also quite cheap and large in comparison.

On the positive side, the people on the phone were very nice. But we will not order from this restaurateur again. The price-performance ratio is not within an acceptable range. A 2-person plate fit into a normal 1-person Styrofoam bowl with plenty of room for the lid. And that at the price including tip for the driver of €40. When I asked over the phone whether a bowl might have been forgotten, I was assured that the portions were of this size. The “performance” was also not convincing in terms of taste. The rice was normal (bags?) rice with a dollop of Uncle Benz sauce on it. Not even enough sauce to get the dry rice down your throat. The meat was heavily seasoned and of poor quality. Very fatty and stringy. We were very very disappointed. Update February 2024: Now a lawyer is trying to delete this review. The reason is that we are not customers at all and are only trying to damage the business being reviewed and violate the personal rights of the owners.

This is the second time we've been there because the boys know what they're doing, eat great, sat in the winter garden, great atmosphere. I've already done enough advertising for them, I'm always happy to come back, great shop. We ourselves come from Herzogenrath, the nearest Greek is 250 meters away from us, the trip to Boscheln is always worth it. We are excited

We pre-ordered schnitzel here and picked it up. The staff were all friendly and the preparation was fresh and on time. The food tasted good and the portions were nice and big. The prices are fair and you can park for free right in front of the door. We'll definitely come back. (February 2024)

Let's start with the positive, there isn't much of it. The delivery person was very friendly and polite and arrived relatively quickly. The food - meat was ok, but more cold than warm. The cheeseburger we ordered was a hamburger without sauce - when we asked, they first said there was cheese on it and only then was a new one brought with the written statement that the old one should be brought back. Rarely have I received such an outrageous message. First make a mistake in the order and then blame it on the customer. - Addition to the owner's comment: At MC's you at least get what you order. If you make mistakes in the order, deal with it if the customer complains!
