Considering the value for money, the portions were unfortunately quite small. The chicken wasn't particularly fresh—perhaps this was because we were there on the weekend. We have a great interest in Asian cuisine, but reviews and photos can sometimes give a somewhat misleading impression. Best regards.

I found the Nu Restaurant rather unremarkable from the outside, but the ambiance and decor inside were very nice. There were many tables with only stools, so I couldn't sit there for long. We received quick and friendly service. The menu had a good selection, the drinks were a real eye-catcher, and the food was fresh, hot, and appetizingly presented. I didn't try the dumplings, but they were supposed to be 10/10. The vegetables were crunchy, the sauce very flavorful (we were brave and had a sauce with chili, whiskey, honey, and sesame oil), the chicken was crispy, and we liked that we each got our own bowl of rice. My only criticism is that there were hardly any cashews in it, and they're my favorite nut. The restroom was relatively dark, and the music was loud, but they were clean.

I highly recommend Nu on Schlüterstrasse! The lunch menu, in particular, is a real highlight – there are new dishes every day, freshly prepared, and always a great variety. You can tell that great importance is placed on quality and taste here. The value for money is good, and the service is friendly and attentive. Perfect for a lunch break when you want good, varied food.

We ordered a salmon bowl, which simply came with rice and salmon in soy sauce, no vegetables, spices, or anything else. :( Then, when we wanted to pay, we were charged €75 for three glasses of wine and two salmon bowls...?!?! When we asked, they said it was 0.2 glasses, even though we never ordered that... Overall, a bad experience. The seating is nice, but the food is awful and overpriced, a rip-off.

Nice place, we just dropped by, and the staff was very kind and professional, but also relaxed so you could have e great evening, with a smile and feeling welcome. Food was great, our kids 8 and 15 loved their curries, and we all loved the starters with ribs, and different fish tacos. My wife had the classic pad thai, and I had a great glassnoodle dish. Great portion sizes, and generously filled with all the good stuff, would recommend for families and friends

Modern ambiance, service somewhat inattentive, and the food was disappointing given the above-average prices, as the craftsmanship was poor. The tacos with salmon and tuna tartar were dominated by the cocktail sauce. At the Ped Lau Deng, the simple vegetables (carrots, green salad, zucchini) were bland, and the Thai malt whiskey sauce was overly sweet.

Unfortunately, the food was nothing special, even bad. I don't understand the hype and the many awards and good reviews. I care about the food, the taste, not the gimmicks. The fact that they serve shrimp and octopus isn't standard, OK, but I can get 100 times better food at the Asian fast-food restaurant on the corner. The Laab Gai was a tiny portion with way too much vinegar! It was too sweet, which I was looking forward to the most. The Pat Thai was sweet and sour, with hardly any flavor, like the other dishes. We had about 8 shrimp for €45! a portion, supposedly 500g, which was never that. Our female server was extremely friendly, except for one older Indian or Pakistani man who was extremely grim. Sometimes I had to take the empty plates away myself because there was no room on the table and the waiter was slow, and the food then got cold. The people making such a hype about it must be suffering from a taste disorder; it's inexplicable. A waste of money and an even greater waste of wasted food!!! Fusion cuisine has to be really well done, otherwise it's rubbish, and unfortunately, that's exactly what it was. They were two left hands. It was far too crowded and the noise level was too loud, you couldn't even hear your own voice. We were there with a group, and no one was really impressed with the food. I'm sorry, but I'm being very honest. Therefore, only one star for the food. For the price, make larger portions and classic dishes, then maybe it'll taste better. Big disappointment, I was so looking forward to it. What a shame. A lot of fuss about nothing. Every Asian restaurant around and on Kantstrasse is better than Nu. I definitely won't be back. It's too much of a waste of money, and I rarely give such bad reviews, but anything else would be a lie.

We called the restaurant while we were on the go and spontaneously reserved a table for two. The restaurant is two minutes from the S-Bahn station. Shortly before 6 p.m. on a Thursday evening, it was quiet. We were looking forward to the meal, as Nu had been recommended to us. We were not disappointed. We had an appetizer and shared it. Everything was freshly prepared and very delicious. After finishing a Jägermeister, we treated ourselves to the crème brûlée for dessert. We would be happy to come back. Yes, the prices are a bit higher, but it's worth it.

The food was quite good and the atmosphere pleasant. Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow and forgetful. I was also quite displeased with being overcharged for a beverage when paying the bill and then gaslit about it.

The Nu has maintained its quality for decades.

Super delicious! The red curry was really delicious and not too spicy, but still perfectly seasoned. The drinks and desserts were also great and looked very appealing. The price is a little higher, but I think it's justified. The service was also very friendly and attentive.

Consistently good quality for many years

It was a disaster. We waited over an hour for the starter, and the waitress, Doppelkin, was a very disrespectful person. People like that don't belong in the restaurant industry. The food was OK, but nothing special. It's a shame, but the good times are over. Very sad. I find it particularly sad that the quality has declined so much. Go back to where you used to shop.

We came here spontaneously last night because we really liked the atmosphere. It's really comfortable to sit in and the whole restaurant really invites you to linger. My wife and I are really not fans of sushi as we have had too many bad experiences. But what was on the tables left and right convinced us to try it again. And we weren't disappointed. On the contrary, for me it's the best sushi I've ever eaten. Plus the delicious non-alcoholic cocktails. An all-round successful evening. Many thanks to the extremely friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

Nu restaurant is a Terrible Place with food served from frozen packages and ready made sauces. Fish came stinky and smelled horrible . Music and atmosphere are too loud like a kindergarten. This place must be closed so it leaves space for people who know something about cooking and serving people.

The restaurant is somewhat inconspicuous from the outside and appears rather dreary. The inside is very modern. Regardless, the food is a real pleasure, very fresh ingredients and the sauces are incredibly tasty. Only the dessert can't keep up with the main courses. Although they are very creative in themselves, they are definitely not homemade and could taste much better. The delivery service is also great and the quality of the food is also impressive. Not exactly cheap, but definitely worth the price! Recommendation 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The food tastes excellent. The clear menu still offers a wide range of different flavors. However, due to the nature of the room, it is very loud and hardly suitable for conversations in large groups. Since there are only stools to sit on, it gets tiring over time.

I went there for dinner with friends and we all agreed the food was delicious. However, the large tables were totally impractical. They are so wide that you can hardly have a conversation with the person across from you without speaking loudly. In addition, there are no real chairs there, just stools, which are quite uncomfortable for long periods of time. Our table was also in the middle of the room, so people were constantly walking past us.

Incredibly delicious food, super nice service, Price/performance fits. We were there on a Thursday evening. Wasn't crowded as one might assume. Nonetheless, the food was outstanding. I had the beef on hell and “scraped” the sauce off the plate. The beef was on point and buttery tender. If I had been alone, I would have licked the plate, the food was so incredibly delicious. We reserved a table straight away for our next visit to Berlin. Absolute recommendation! Any additional words would dilute the rating.

The restaurant has a very nice ambience, it is bar-like in terms of volume due to the loud music. The waiters are very attentive, quick and very friendly. The menu offers something to eat for everyone. Also suitable for vegetarians and vegans, every dish can be ordered with tofu. Unfortunately, the matcha tiramisu, which was specially advertised, was not convincing. It lacked the matcha flavor, it was served in a glass, the top layer was very sweet, pudding-like underneath. Only the green color reminded me of matcha.

Seriously one of the best restaurants I've been to EVER! Amazing service, amazing environment, lovely design, and outstanding food! I can especially recommend the Pho Ga (currently on the lunch menu) and the Pad Thai with chicken and peanuts (also lunch menu rn!). That soup was the best soup I've eaten in my entire life, without exxagerating.

The food was good, but relatively expensive. The waiting time for the food was very long at ~45 minutes. The atmosphere has the charm of a market hall: large tables that you share with others and uncomfortable stools without backrests. There are vegetarian dishes, but they are not immediately recognizable as such.

In my opinion, Nu is one of the best fusion kitchens in Berlin and at a good price. All dishes taste interesting and are worth trying

The atmosphere is very chic and the service is friendly. The menu sounds very interesting, even if the prices are pretty steep. Unfortunately, the taste and presentation of the food did not live up to what the price and the interior of the store promised. The dumplings were bland and soggy, the satay skewers were dry, and the spicy sauce on the tofu tasted like diluted curry ketchup. Only the Peking duck rolls were tasty, although clearly too expensive for the quantity and very carelessly prepared. In general, I think the disappointment wouldn't have been so great if the prices were more reasonable for the quantity. 3 tiny chicken skewers for 9€, over 7€ for 4 small dumplings... you can get that cheaper (and tastier) even in Charlottenburg. It's also a shame that two things from the special menu weren't available. Unfortunately very disappointing.

Clear recommendation. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The service is super fast and very friendly. The two of us had dinner here and had a very nice evening. You should definitely reserve in advance. Which works great via the homepage. The ambience is great. Price performance is definitely right. About €20 per dish for the quality. Fits ! Tip: the starter plate for 2 people packs a punch. You get a lot for the little money. After the main course, there is no dessert left. The cocktails are also highly recommended. I think it's a very good Asian Fusion restaurant. I really like eating Ped lau Deng / duck (spelled roughly like that ;) ) in a 5Spice-Wiskey sauce (a sweet and slightly spicy sauce at the same time)

I was there by my BF for my birthday and we ordered food and drinks, the food was tasty but not super tasty, and the surprising part was the drink i ordered a alkhol free beverage for 9,50 Euro and i expected a hause made drink but it was a selection of cheap drinks together!!! I mean for this price u expect sthg fresh and highly quality. I don't like to go there again , it was one time experience for us.

Outstanding, Excellent, Excellent You don't really need to write more, the food and especially the service are just perfect. The starter platter was sophisticated and delicious, the main course was simply the best fried noodles I've ever had and the dessert was also simply delicious 🤤 All in all perfect, again at any time!

The restaurant looks very fancy and beautiful! Service is nice, just sometimes too intrusive. It feels like every 5 minutes someone comes and asks if everything is okay or picks up something that doesn't necessarily need to be picked up. The food looks fancy and good, but in my opinion it's not of high enough quality for the price. I had dumplings 🥟 with shrimp, they tasted like any Asian restaurant, nothing special, just more expensive than everywhere else. I understand that the place is expensive, but for the prices you would expect more creative and delicious food than usual. The quality of the meat in the burger wasn't good in my opinion, it had a lot of gristle in it :( in the menu it was described as 'finest beef'. Maybe I'm just used to organic quality and the finest beef is slightly better from factory farming. That's what matters to me the most important role - therefore a star deduction for that.
