Best asian food in Berlin. We are very sorry that we do not have such a place in Amsterdam. The food is amazing, everything is fresh crispy and delicious. Especially the dishes with the duck - the duck old fashioned is the name of the dish. For the kids take bento box - our picky daughter really loved it. And also you have to take passion fruit lemonade- the best I have ever drank. The staff is also very nice and friendly. We always go to Hoongy when driving through Berlin, highly recommended!

A great restaurant. I chose it for our office Christmas party, and everyone loved it. Unassuming from the outside, but very nice inside 🤩 The food is really good. Sure, there could have been one or two more sweet potato fries, but they tasted fantastic.

Very nice place, unfortunately I didn't love it for a few reasons: 1. I made a reservation and still had to wait because the table was still occupied. 2. The waiter was very friendly, but he forgot to take my drink order (only mine). When I finally got around to asking for it, it took him far too long to bring it. Throughout the evening, we waited for him to at least come by and ask if everything was alright or if we needed anything else, but he never returned. We had to get up to ask for the bill. Aside from that, the food was fine. Although in Berlin there are many places that offer similar or the same food and provide better service.

I discovered this restaurant by chance in early 2025 and have been there several times. Your yellow curry is the best I've ever eaten. Great homemade drinks, the mini tempura rolls are delicious. Everything so far has been really great. A super pleasant atmosphere and very friendly, attentive service.

Another great Asian place in the neighborhood. I had shrimps tempura, kimchi and Hanoi fish soup. Everything was perfect, particularly the soup, which was full of flavors (I'm not sure if salmon is traditional, but it fit the dish nicely). Prices are similar to other places around. Service was very kind, and the food was delivered quickly. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is appealing. Unfortunately, the positive impression ends there. The rather expensive "homemade drinks" tasted surprisingly artificial and reminded me, both in taste and appearance, of those canned drinks from an Asian supermarket. I can't prove it, of course, but if they really just refilled the drinks and slapped on a mint leaf, that would be pretty cheeky. The duck and the chicken were okay, but the taste was more on par with an average Asian bistro that offers dishes for under €10. The service, unfortunately, seemed unfriendly, almost disinterested. A bit more enthusiasm or a smile would have been appropriate. All in all, not a total failure, but also not a reason for a second visit. There are simply too many alternatives in the immediate vicinity that deliver more convincing results for the same price.

This has been my go-to spot for sushi rolls in the last four years. The food is always fresh and delicious, the service is consistently attentive (a rare find in Berlin), and the place has a really nice atmosphere. This time I tried the duck, and it was absolutely delicious.

We happened to be nearby and were very hungry. We went to this restaurant without great expectations and simply let ourselves be surprised. We ordered a vegetarian and a meat dish each. Both were delicious. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. We would gladly return.

Once a solid option, but now, unfortunately, a complete failure. The Pho tasted really bad. Even worse: The bill stated €27.20, but €30 was deducted without my permission. The server simply took the tip herself and, when asked, accused me of making a false statement. There was no refund, and the tip doesn't even appear on the bill. Absolutely unacceptable—that was my last visit.

We visited this place during a short stay in Berlin. A very nice guy served us; the food was lovely; inside was non-smoking; I would happily visit again.

Very disappointing. From ordering to delivery we waited 45 minutes. The dishes came staggered, one dish only came after 1 hour. The waiter informed us that this was due to the fact that the cook came after we had arrived at the place. The food was mediocre at best. The waiters were helpless.

Very good sushi, beautifully presented. The ambiance is very pleasant inside, but very loud and uncomfortable outside. Definitely recommended.

Simply great. I made a mistake and accidentally ordered sushi with fish, even though I'm vegetarian, but the nice lady who served us immediately brought us a substitute that I could eat. The sushi I ended up eating was delicious. I'd come back here :)

I ordered food with Wolt last night. Instead of duck, I got only fried fat, and the bamboo was like wood. It was completely inedible. I threw half of it away. The restaurant immediately returned the dish.

We had beef wok, surf and turf and shrimp Barbie. We also ordered Vietnamese ice tea. Everything was excellent and the stuff was very kind. The bathrooms are also very clean.

Thanks to the NeoTaste app, we discovered the Hoongy restaurant. My dish with tofu, seitan, and crunchy vegetables, as well as my partner's fish soup, were well-seasoned. I was particularly impressed by the refreshing glass noodle salad with squid. For our next office meeting, we've confirmed that Hoongy will be catering for us. I'm already looking forward to trying more dishes and surprising my colleagues with culinary delights. The overall look is high-quality and well-thought-out, without being cluttered or kitschy. Every area of the restaurant invites you to linger and exudes a feel-good atmosphere. Service: The service is extremely friendly and attentive. The staff ensures that guests feel welcome and well looked after at all times. Food: - Summer rolls: Fresh and flavorful, a great start. - What the Duck: A very tasty dish with an excellent sauce that makes the dish special. - Asian Surf n Turf: The shrimp were excellent, the meat good, but not quite perfectly cooked. The presentation on the large plate made the dish seem a bit lost. A few more vegetables would have provided more balance, not only visually but also in terms of flavor – but that's criticism at a very high level. Conclusion: The restaurant offers an excellent overall package: an unusual and stylish interior, friendly service, and mostly very good food. Minor weaknesses in the main course are more than compensated for by the harmonious overall experience. An unreserved recommendation for anyone who values ambiance and enjoyment!

The food is truly phenomenal! I've rarely, if ever, eaten out this well in the last few months. The dishes are absolutely spot-on! The vegetables are fresh and crisp, the meat is perfectly seasoned, and the drinks are a flavor explosion. More restaurants should take a leaf out of your book! I'll be happy to come back.

It's not always easy to go out to eat when you have dietary restrictions (keto). But the service and the kitchen responded well to my request to omit the sauces and sugar, and I had a perfect lunch.

An unexpected lunch experience - though we were obviously not able to try the full menu, it would seem this is that rare breed of a restaurant where you simply can’t go wrong! In spite of a full house staff swiftly greets us and seats our family of five - including the three year old in her stroller - at a nice table. Their signature crispy duck in red curry available at a discount for weekday lunch is nothing short of amazing. Top it off with Matcha ice cream for desert and you will wonder why many restaurants even exist…

Delicious Vietnamese food to discover new flavors. For starters we ordered a salad with prawns and tamarind sauce that was slightly spicy but with a lot of flavor, and a tomato, vegetable and prawn soup that was spectacular, although it was also slightly spicy. Among the main dishes, we chose two duck dishes and both came well accompanied by vegetables and sweet potatoes and rice, respectively. I only take away some points for the atmosphere because it was very hot in our area (there was no fan). After all, the creme brulée was good but lacked a little brulee.

We were here for the first time. Nice interior and delicious lemongrass shrimp and red curry with shrimp. And certainly not expensive. The people at the counter are fast and very friendly! Top tent, highly recommended!

Nice restaurant, good food! The waitress could have talked a bit louder, because she was barely hearable sometimes, but she was very friendly nonetheless.

I chose the Hokkaido Curry and Sushi Mini Rolls. The rolls were tasty, but nothing special compared to other restaurants. The curry, on the other hand, was really delicious and is recommended. Only the relatively large pieces of pumpkin in the curry were just a bit too big for me. The sweet potato pieces added a very pleasant twist. The toilets were extremely clean and overall the restaurant was very nicely decorated. Only the outside seats are a bit uncomfortable due to their direct location on the street.

I came here for sushi and it was really good. Maybe they overdid it a bit with the sauce, but that's complaining at a high level. Otherwise it was really very good. I always order sake with it, which I found to be a bit too neutral. But that's a matter of taste. Otherwise a nice restaurant with atmosphere, friendly staff and the prices are reasonable. I'll be back.

Versehentlich ins falsche Asia Restaurant gegangen, was ich erst gemerkt habe, als es kein Kristallweizen gab. Aber ... glückliche Fügung. Das Essen hob sich geschmacklich als auch optisch vom asiatischen Einerlei der Restaurants der Umgebung ab. Vom Ambiente wie alle anderen auch. Service freundlich und fix. Preise wie bei den anderen Restaurants völlig zeitgemäß. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hingehen, auch mit Fsmilie oder Freunden. Sehr zu empfehlen.

I dont know how the food and service in the restaurant is, but I ordered on wolt and aside from 1/2 of my my order not arriving, my other half "curry with vegetables and basil" came with no basil and 1 single vegetable...

So if you're nearby, stop by and eat something. Price performance is absolutely okay... there's nothing to complain about. And the store still looks great!

Came here for a client dinner and booked a table in advance. The restaurant was and felt quite cold. It's very bright and simple, but not in a charming, authentic way. It is not extremely inviting or encourages to stay for longer. We had the sharing starter platter, and each item was just luke warm, not freshly prepared, and missed flavours. The Thai red curry I had after was bland and disappointing. I would not come back. Most Asian restaurants I've been to before were better.

An hidden gem in the central area! We’ve discovered it randomly, but it has been an amazing surprise. Located in the city centre, Hoongy offered a wide selection of different dishes. Everything we ate was delicious, tasty and with well-balanced flavours! The service was excellent too, the kindest waitress made our experience even better! Last but not least, the prices are absolutely fantastic for the quality and the portions. It is definitely a must if you want to enjoy asian food in berlin!

Beautiful, warm and cozy atmosphere in a guest room that allows you to discover many details. Price performance cannot be criticized. A waiter who is wonderfully friendly. Food was super delicious! The only negative point was that it was too cold in the front area. But we would love to come back.

They are too slow to bring the dishes, with an imbalance between the various courses. After the starter we waited half an hour, with dirty dishes on the table the whole time... Very affordable Vietnamese restaurant with plenty of options to choose from. I had the udon with crispy chicken, it was very tasty and quite a lot of food. I also had a beer (0.5l) and shared the fried shrimp appetizer, which is highly recommended. Unfortunately, for some reason, the food took forever to arrive, I think there was a problem with our order. I spent €24.

Aziatisch fusion restaurant. Als voorgerecht had ik verrukkelijke sint-jakobsschelpen en als hoofdgerecht een tonijn-sushiset, die ook erg lekker was. Het interieur is een beetje standaard, maar dat geeft niet.

You have to know that this restaurant only have two waitrees an usually there’s full, so you have to wait a lot. Also we order some tuna with sweet potatoes and them notify us (20 minutes later) (at 21:30) that they dont have it so instead the offer us rice changing us the plate. The food its okay, but I dont recomend it

Being one of the few restaurants open on Christmas Day, we made a reservation for dinner while in the area. We had a really pleasant dining experience. The food and drinks were delicious. The restaurant’s ambience was cozy with vintage decorations. Service was a bit on the slow side, but understandable, as it was very busy and it’s a holiday period. Overall, it was very good & if you’re in the area, it’s worth checking out.

My first to this place. Got welcome by a very friendly waitress who quickly cleaned a table for us. The waiting time for food was reasonable and the meal was excellent. My only complaint is that the music, though good, was a bit too loud. But this is a minor thing and I am sure to come back!
