Ordered two pizzas (salami and Italy). However, we got one with mushrooms and one with eggplant (we don't like eggplant)...it's a shame. We only noticed it when the driver was already gone. We won't be ordering there anymore! You don't know what you're going to get.

The pizza is good and tastes more like a standard pizza, visually reminiscent of Neapolitan pizza. Unfortunately, the pizza lacks depth in terms of taste. A bit boring in my opinion. Maybe just a little salt is missing. There are lots of extravagant toppings that sound great and come at a corresponding cost, but what we had was OK in terms of taste, but not a highlight. The restaurant is more of a delivery service with a dining room, which is quite nice. But the delivery service doesn't make it really comfortable for you. Conclusion: The pizza is really OK, but please don't expect any miracles in terms of taste, even if the pizzas have great names.

The pizzas and desserts here are simply delicious!! We also have to mention the positively competent and friendly team. Attention is paid to quality and we will definitely come again! :)

First the positive: The pizzas are great. Great surface that hasn't been skimped on. The base was nicely baked and not TOO soft and thin, making it easy to eat. The edge has a great structure, a pleasant aroma, slightly crispy on the outside, otherwise nice and soft. Not cloudy but very good. But the ambience alone. A small, quite dark room in which strange balloons hang, strange, annoying music is playing and you have the feeling that Grandma is coming right around the corner and wants to watch TV. 2/3 urinals were also closed. Service: The pizza bread came without olive oil and vegetables; when asked, olive oil was poured on it. Pepsi Zero on the menu but not available... fresh truffle is wrong, it's from the glass. Olive oil does not go on the pizzas as described. The waiter was hardly there and it was not possible to order more water. There is no espresso afterwards… More like a pizza that you should take with you around the corner.

I had the pleasure of trying the new Neapolitan pizza in Karlsruhe and loved it! The dough is wonderfully crispy on the outside and wonderfully fluffy on the inside - just as a real Neapolitan pizza should be. I particularly recommend the classics like the Margherita or Funghi, as the focus here is on the incomparable taste of the base: the dough, the fresh San Marzano tomato sauce and the Fior di Latte cheese come into their own here. The few, high-quality ingredients ensure a genuine taste experience that pizza lovers should definitely try. If you are looking for authentic Neapolitan enjoyment, you will definitely find it here. The Neapolitan pizza was really amazing! From the first bite I knew this was something very special. The dough was perfect – crispy on the outside and nice and airy on the inside. Exactly what you would expect from a real Neapolitan pizza! The pizza was also really nicely made, with a great, golden brown crust and just the right amount of toppings. Five of us were there and had super friendly service and got our pizza quickly. We were happy and at the end there was a little surprise on the house. Clearly the atmosphere is less restaurant style and more geared towards delivery service. But in the back area you have peace and quiet. If we are in the area again we would love to come back.

Ordered two pizzas today via Lieferando. Smaller than stated (28 instead of 32 cm dia.), both pizza bases burnt and I'm pretty sure canned mushrooms were used. The pizza was delivered cold an hour later than promised... Good concept, good dough, but I would have liked better.

We ordered super tasty original Neapolitan pizza there. Delivery was very fast and the staff was very friendly. There is no better pizza or delivery service in Knielingen. If you want pizza you should order there or go there. We tried the other two pizza services and they weren't They should take the Orient Express home rather than if Pizza Dan is Italian and nothing else, PS great guys keep it up Dan since you are unrivaled in Knielingen

Very nice employees. Fast delivery. Visually very nice pizzas. Unfortunately, these didn't suit our taste at all. Dough very mushy and tough. Cannot be cut with a normal knife. Not a crispy spot. Topping generous. The spiciness of the Pizza Etna was very good, the onions in the breading of the Pizza Tuna were also tough and, in my opinion, inappropriate. We most likely won't try the other pizzas on offer.

I ordered there for delivery. I have never experienced such unfriendly staff. The card payment that I specifically mentioned during the phone call was ONLY CANCELED ON SITE. The pizzeria has been around since the beginning of June 2024. I therefore suspect that the older negative reviews refer to another restaurant or predecessor. In any case, I cannot confirm this. The restaurant is located in a former hotel in old Knielingen and, apart from the funny Willy Wonka sign above the entrance, looks rather inconspicuous from the outside and not very inviting at first glance. In the front area there is the oven, counter and two tables. This area is probably designed as a waiting area for pickup. The actual dining room, into which the nice older gentleman who served us took us, is unfortunately not quite finished yet. However, this is very tastefully designed and will certainly be a nice restaurant. Now to the essentials: Pizza is actually not my thing at all. I chose a simple Pizza Funghi. The dough was delicious and fluffy on the edges and super thin on the bottom. The topping is not the usual tomato puree, but rather a really tasty tomato passata that deserves the tomato in the name. The mushrooms were fresh and plentiful and the mozzarella or, more correctly, fior di latte was also harmonious. On top there is fresh basil and, if desired, homemade hot spices. In addition, the service is very friendly and accommodating. Given the quality, I find the prices to be appropriate or rather cheap. All in all, I'm pleasantly surprised that pizza can actually be delicious and I'll happily come back.

We ordered four pizzas via the homepage shortly after 6 p.m. during regular opening hours. After 1.5 hours we tried to call for the first time to ask about the status of the order, but after 2 hours we only ended up on the answering machine. Despite the message, no call back and no pizzas received. The order confirmation and receipt of payment were promptly confirmed by email. Still no pizza received after more than 4 hours. Top business model: close the shop between the years but let people continue to order and collect via the homepage. impudence. If I could I would give zero stars! Let's see if and when I get the money back...

Even 3.5 hours after ordering online, the food was not delivered. Calls were not answered and pushed away. Even after I spoke to the answering machine, there was no response. To date there has been no response at all despite order confirmation and online payment. It's unbelievable how customers are treated!

Ordered over 2 hours ago and the restaurant cannot be reached - it was safe the last time! Edit: After 2 hours 45 the driver came, when I said that I definitely wouldn't pay the full price he said "you have to clarify it with my boss" - then said he can take the pizza back and he didn't say sorry or similar deducted. The restaurant then stopped responding.

Unfortunately I find myself having to change my review, almost two years later. I'm not sure what's happened in the last few months, but the quality has definitely dropped. The peeled tomatoes used on the pizzas are of very low quality. I believe they are flavored and this brings a terrible aftertaste on the pizza. Fiordilatte now absent. Definitely not Italian and not quality cured meats. Too bad because it was one of the best pizzas in Karlsruhe.

We came to this restaurant through a recommendation from a friend. What can you say, the 30 minute journey was definitely worth it. The BEST Neapolitan pizza we have ever eaten, from the dough to the toppings, really, really good. High-quality ingredients that stand out in terms of taste. The pizzas were amazing. Exceptionally good. My partner and I wanted to pick them up and eat them as a picnic on the Rhine, but we couldn't pull ourselves together and ate the first pizza (Parmiggiano) completely while we were walking. The ingredients, the dough, the sauces... it tastes like something! Not like the one-size-fits-all kebab around the corner, but really high quality. Outstanding. Even if the situation isn't great, we'll be back and I'm looking forward to it.

Wie degeneriert muss man sein sich darüber zu beschweren wenn die Pizza "labbrig" ist? Es gibt keine Knusprige Neapolitanische Pizza, dann bestell dir lieber eine Pinsa oder eine nach römischer Art 😭

Sehr gute neapolitanische Pizza. Teils ausgefallene Kreationen und toller Teig. Gehört für mich definitiv zu den Top 3 Pizzen in Karlsruhe :) Lieferung auch optimal, innerhalb 50 Minuten von Knielingen in die Oststadt!

Habe eben 2 Pizzen abgeholt und gegessen war einfach nur unglaublich lecker, wird meine neue Stamm Pizzeria in Knieliegen, danke für die leckeren Pizzen!

Wir bestellen die Pizzen immer und haben bis jetzt nur positive Erfahrungen gemacht. Die Pizzen sind immer sehr schnell da und sehr lecker. Die Preise sind etwas gehobener.

Wir wollten die Pizza vor Ort essen und haben daher bereits vorher dort angerufen und Bescheid gesagt wann wir kommen. Der Besitzer hat uns darauf hingewiesen, dass er keine Getränke da hat - komisch aber ok, immerhin durften wir eigene Getränke mitbringen. Dort angekommen saßen wir 15-20 min im Speiseraum (?) ohne eine Karte zu bekommen. Nach dieser Zeit haben wir dann selbstständig direkt in der Küche bestellt. Die Pizza selbst war lecker aber weitere 40 Minuten kam kein einziger Service Mitarbeiter während in der Küche laute Musik lief und gerappt wurde. Pizza also gut, Service und alles weitere leider unterirdisch auch wenn der Koch/Pizzabäcker sehr nett war.

Neapolitanische Pizza wie sie sein muss 👌🏽

Leider muss ich meine 5 Sterne Bewertung korrigieren, da sich die Qualität im letzten Jahr doch sehr verschlechtert hat. Vor allem der Salat ist für den Preis unterirdisch... Schale nur noch mit max 75% der ursprünglichen Menge gefüllt, Fertigcroutons statt der selbstgemachten, Tomaten waren immer echt lecker und sind jetzt total geschmacksneutral. Und das Dressing schmeckt auch jedesmal anders (aber nie so wie früher). Auch am Pizzakarton wird seit längerem gespart. Die Beschichtung, die sie von den normalen Kartons unterschieden hat, fehlt inzwischen. Dadurch, dass der Pizzaoden in der Mitte teilweise sehr dünn ist, könnten wir sie nun schon 2x nicht komplett auf den Teller bringen. Nachdem wir in den letzten Monaten nach der ersten unzufriedenen Bestellung noch 4x einen Versuch gewagt haben, muss ich leider sagen, dass nonna tonda uns als Kunden verloren hat. Hier stimmt Preis-Leistung nicht mehr. Erst Recht nicht, wenn man weiß, wie gut sie es eigentlichen können /konnten. Schade! ________________________________ Die mit Abstand beste Pizza, die wir je in Deutschland gegessen haben. Teig wie von der Nonna in Neapel, ausgewählte, frische Zutaten, echter Mozzarella,.... einfach nur top. Auch der Caesar-Salat war sehr lecker. Pizza top aber leider leidet die Qualität im Karton. Ich freue mich auf das Restaurant zum Vorort Essen. Und die Öffnungszeiten sind leider nicht so optimal.

Sehr gerne bin ich hin gegangen, als der alte Geschäftsführer noch dort war. Seitdem er weg ist, läuft es sehr chaotisch. Viele tolle Pizzen wurden gestrichen. Die Zuverlässigkeit, was die Abholung betrifft, hat ebenso nachgelassen. Beim Warten wurde ich mit respektlosen „Witzen“ „unterhalten“. Wahnsinnig schade. Dieser Laden hatte so viel Qualität und Herzblut. Leider werde ich nicht mehr bestellen, obwohl ich mal Stammkunde war…

Mit Abstand die beste und authentischste Pizza in Karlsruhe. Der Service war super nett und zuvorkommend. Wenn Sie eine großartige Pizza und einen erstklassigen, herzlichen Service suchen, dann ist Nonna Tonda definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Wirklich gute Pizzeria, kompakte Speisekarte aber dadurch werden echt gute Gerichte bzw. Pizza geboten! Sehr besonderer Pizzaboden wie auf den Bildern zu sehen, sehr empfehlenswert!

A hidden gem.💎 The pizza dough is delicious on its own even without any ingredients. They use super high quality ingredients. The guys working there know what they are doing, the pizzas are done in a stone oven. They have food ready in under 15 minutes. Their price is slightly higher than other pizza places, but I believe it is worth every bite. Definitely will go back.

Man hat bemerkt dass das Restaurant noch im Bau war. Trotzdem allem war das Essen wirklich gut. Eine tolle Pizza auf neapolitanischen Art. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und der Service war sehr schnell. Dazu noch ein Salat auf Haus. Da kann man wirklich nicht meckern.

Diese Pizzeria ist eine wahre Erfrischung, wenn man sich die verschiedenen Pizzerien in Karlsruhe anschaut. Fluffig lockerer Teig, belegt mit qualitativ hochwertigen und sehr schmackhaften Zutaten. Ab jetzt unsere Lieblingspizzeria!

Vor einigen Wochen haben wir Abends Pizza bestellt. Ich bin mir zu 99% sicher, dass ich danach schon einmal eine Bewertung geschrieben habe - aber sie ist weg?! 🤔 Naja... Also: an einem Freitag um 17:30 Uhr bestellt, dass die Pizzen um 20:00 Uhr geliefert werden sollen...Schließlich kamen sie nach einem Anruf und nachfragen um 20:45 Uhr. So richtig krass lecker waren sie auch nicht. Der Hype ist wohl etwas übertrieben....

Super schneller Service, freundliche Bedienung, schönes Ambiente, leckere Pizza - Fazit: auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen

Leider hat die Qualität deutlich nachgelassen. Hierfür ist der Preis nicht gerechtfertigt. Hatte mittlerweile eher etwas Ähnlichkeit mit einer „Lieferservicepizza“ - Sie hat nicht nach einer napoletanischen Pizza geschmeckt. Schade.

Qualität war früher deutlich besser. Schade, dass es zum einen so chaotisch geworden ist und die Qualität der Zutaten deutlich nachgelassen hat. Dementsprechend ist der Preis nicht mehr gerechtfertigt.
