We were lured by the good reviews during our vacation. Unfortunately, the portions were very, very small. The meat quality was anything but good. There was no seasoning in the meat dishes. We wouldn't go back. Unfortunately, we can't understand the reviews.

Hiden gem in the heart of Durlach! We had a lovely dinner at this amazing place with tasty food,amazing atmosphere and even more amazing hosts ❤️ I highly recommend you to visit,you will be surprised with their lovely outdoor area as well ❤️

The menu had already piqued my interest, as did the pictures of the beautiful beer garden. Upon arrival, I found VERY friendly service, and the beer garden is truly cozy (even though it's almost 40°C today, it's quite warm, but the restaurant itself is pleasantly cool). Before I forget: the service was not only good, but also ultra-fast. The speed with which I not only received my menu and drinks, but also the food, was incredible. The dishes, both appetizer and main course, were significantly more than just decent: the appetizer was quite exceptional and absolutely well-rounded, and the main course is second to none. The octopus was grilled to perfection and could have been eaten without teeth. The pairing with the roasted potatoes and the wonderful, visually appealing vegetables was outstanding. The combination of the fish (Tri di Mare) with an orange instead of the usual lemon was outstanding. The price level for this extremely high quality is more than reasonable. The crabs were a bit firm, but still impressed with the truly excellent quality of the raw ingredients: They had a truly intense flavor and weren't the usual tasteless cardboard pieces (a VERY high level of criticism). I will definitely return when I'm in the area and can highly recommend a visit to anyone else.

Were guests today: the outdoor area was very nice and spotlessly clean, good music, friendly. However, we didn't get more than a drink with three tables occupied; our own people were talking on the phone very loudly on the loudspeaker, which was very unpleasant. The octopus was inedible because it was tough, the shrimp was cooked to death and one of the five mussels was closed. Restaurant was recommended to us, but I didn't think it was worth repeating. I wasn't asked if I liked it, even though the plate was returned half full. It's a shame, because the surroundings are really nice!

I recently visited the Adria Taverne Restaurant in Durlach and really loved it. I ordered broccoli soup as a starter – it was extremely tasty! Everyone who visits this restaurant should definitely try them. An absolute recommendation! For the main course I chose the octopus salad. The octopus was fried hot and crispy and was served with fresh salad and a Mediterranean dressing. The combination was excellent – ​​a real taste experience! The preparation time of the dishes could have been a little shorter, but given this high quality I'm happy to accept that. You can tell that they cook here with fresh ingredients and a lot of attention to detail. The absolute highlight, however, was the staff: extremely friendly, courteous and warm. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Karlsruhe or Durlach. A culinary insider tip with a feel-good atmosphere!

Leider passt die aktuelle Qualität nicht mehr zu den bisherigen Bewertungen. Im November 24 hat der Besitzer gewechselt. Unser Essen war weit weg von gut. Das Fleisch war trocken. Die Kartoffeln fettig und ölig. Der Service war nett und freundlich.

Unfortunately, the food has little to do with Croatian cuisine. After the change of ownership in November, the good reviews from the past cannot hide the fact that the quality of the food is average. The meat is fried to death and dry, the taste falls by the wayside. That's better! The service was nice and friendly. The complaint about the potatoes floating in fat was accepted without comment, nothing more.

The Adria Tavern in Karlsruhe is absolutely recommended! The landlady is extremely friendly and warm, which immediately makes you feel at home. The food is excellent - we tried the starter platter "Dalmacija" and the fish platter "Omiš", both were fresh, tasty and authentic. The Dalmatian flair conveyed here creates a special ambience and a short culinary journey to the Mediterranean. As a Croatian myself, I was delighted by the authentic and delicious food—fresh fish and seafood, perfectly prepared, and the ćevapčići tasted great as well! The ambiance felt like a true Dalmatian tavern—cozy and inviting, with the warm atmosphere you'd expect back home. The lovely lady who owns the restaurant also served us, and she was incredibly polite and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The chef did an outstanding job, and every dish tasted like a little piece of home. Hearing the beautiful sounds of "Klape" playing in the background only added to the experience, making it feel as though we were dining in the heart of Dalmatia, despite being in Germany. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Croatian experience—whether you're Croatian or just someone who appreciates great food and warm hospitality.

A nice restaurant with very nice staff. I ordered something to pick up over the phone and it was ready quickly. Had Pljeskavica, noticed at home that the onion and ajvar weren't there. The minced steak was fried too hard or too long (also a bit black on the outside). Salad had occurred. Guys, for the price the minimum should be offered! It's a shame, but at least the food should be good. A pity.

Was there for the first time with my wife! Can only say “SUPER” and can only recommend it. As a main course we had "green asparagus with roast beef strips" and "risotto with zucchini and gambo". I really can only recommend it!

Ich kann jedem wärmsten einen Besuch in der Adria Taverne an Herz legen. Hat man wirklich das Gefühl kurz einen Abstecher nach Kroatien gemacht zu haben. Kulinarisch ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei - von bekannten Speisen wie Cevapcici, über mediterrane Pastagerichte bis hin zu frischem Fisch (mein Favorit ist die Fischplatte). Abgesehen vom leckeren Essen, ist die Atmosphäre im Innen- und Außenbereich fantastisch. Und das Highlight jedes Mal ist die Gastgeberin Svjetlana! Noch nie wurde ich so herzlich in einem Restaurant empfangen und bedient.

Neugierig haben wir die Adria Taverne besucht und sind mehr als positiv überrascht worden. Versteckt im Hinterhof befindet sich ein wunderbarer ruhiger und sonniger Platz der Lust macht zum verweilen. Und der herzliche Empfang durch Svjetlana tut sein übriges. Eine Karte die nicht überladen war aber für jeden Geschmack etwas bietet. Als Vorspeise die Garnelen und Peperoni. Sehr lecker 😋 Beim Hauptgericht einmal quer durch die Karte und die aktuellen Angebote. Sehr schmackhaft, tolle Zutaten und perfekt verarbeitet. Alles in allem mehr als gelungen und ein echter Geheimtipp der es verdient hat nicht mehr so geheim zu sein 🙃

Our last family trip took us to Karlsruhe-Durlach on Saturday, April 20th, where we had an absolutely outstanding dinner. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed, which immediately created a great atmosphere. The food was particularly impressive. I chose a steak with pepper sauce as my main course and I have to say it was cooked to perfection. The quality of the steak and the perfect balance of the sauce not only met my expectations, but exceeded them. A particular highlight was how welcome and at home my mother, who comes from Croatia, felt. This speaks to the restaurant's warm and welcoming atmosphere that bridges cultural boundaries. The combination of the friendly service and the excellent food really made our evening special. I am completely thrilled and send greetings from Munich back to Karlsruhe-Durlach. This restaurant is definitely a must for anyone in the area and looking for a dining experience.

A very nice restaurant... small but fine menu. Only recommended.

It was really nice for both of us. From the atmosphere and staff, to the food and cleanliness. We chose two different main courses - meat (mix plate) and fish (stew with shrimp, octopus and mussels). The portions were huge enough that we felt completely full by the end of the meal. Nevertheless, we also decided on dessert because we thought, "Well, if everything was so awesome, we'll have dessert too." And that was a right decision! Dessert was so delicious and it was just what a dessert should be - full flavored and not too big as it makes you feel uncomfortable, but interesting and with the quality very high so you know you aren't just eating sugar and margarine. I have nothing but the best to say about the staff. The manager, two chefs, everyone was so nice and sweet. We have already made the reservation for the near future for ourselves and our family and that speaks a lot about how satisfied and happy we are.

Für uns beide war es richtig schön. Von der Atmosphäre und Personal, bis zum Essen und Sauberkeit. Wir haben uns für zwei verschiedene Hauptgängen entschieden - Fleisch (Mix Teller) und Fisch (Eintopf mit Garnelen, Oktopus und Miesmuscheln). Die Portionen waren riesig genug, dass wir am Ende des Essens ganz voll gefühlt haben. Trotzdem, haben wir uns auch für ein Dessert entschieden, da wir dachten "Na ja, wenn alles so krass war, wird auch Dessert". Und das war eine richtige Entscheidung! Dessert war so lecker und es war einfach, was ein Dessert sein sollte - vollmundig und nicht zu groß, da man sich dann unangenehm fühlt, aber interessant und mit der Qualität sehr hoch, sodass du weißt, dass du nicht nur Zucker und Margarine isst. Über Personal habe ich nichts aber das Beste zu sagen. Die Managerin, zwei Köche, alle waren so nett und lieb. Wir haben schon die Reservierung für die nähere Zukunft für uns und unsere Familie gemacht, und das spricht viel darüber, wie zufrieden und glücklich wir sind.

Afterwards we had delicious Čevape 👍🏼 with side dishes and even a few vegan dishes - such as a delicious vegetable risotto with mushrooms, a beetroot risotto and a portion of polenta, which was conjured up for us 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼, even though the menu doesn't have any vegan dishes. We were spontaneously in Karlsruhe (Durlach), only two nights and wanted to go out for dinner at the end. After a short search we came across this tavern and immediately felt at home. Very friendly, warm service, absolutely delicious food. Great chef! Wine recommendation optimal and delicious. We had a very nice evening and can highly recommend this restaurant! It's a shame that it's too far away for us to eat here more often. We'll come back anyway.

We ate here very spontaneously yesterday because the restaurant we were originally planning to eat was closed. We have the perfect seat right next to the fireplace, really cozy! Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend in toller Atmosphäre. Das Essen wurde relativ schnell serviert. Aber trotz allem 👍👍👍 Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir hatten hier ein wunderbares Essen im Außenbereich mit aufmerksamen Service und sympathischen Gastgebern. Wir hatten die gegrillten Peperoni als Vorspeise und die Fischplatte für zwei als Hauptgang. Der Fisch war köstlich und mit perfektem Garpunkt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wirklich gut. Lediglich, dass der halbe Liter Bier preiswerter ist als der halbe Liter Mineralwasser ist für mich kritikwürdig. Wir kommen aber auf jeden Fall wieder.

Netter Empfang und Service. Atmosphäre angenehm. Leider war die Leber halb roh gebraten und das Risotto mit Langkornreis zubereitet. Dafür würde ich noch gerne 4 Sterne vergeben. Aber dass man (bei Barzahlung) keinerlei Rechnung bekommt, sondern auf Zuruf einen Betrag x bezahlt, ist leider sehr unseriös. Wenn sich das verbessert kommen wir gerne wieder.

Ambiente war schön, etwas stickig aber alles in Allem mehr als OK und wir waren sehr positiv für den Abend gestimmt. Gastgeberin war sehr nett, der Gastgeber etwas angespannt, aber alles in allem auch als positiv zu bewerten. Essen ist leider bei uns durchgefallen. Geschmacklich beliebig, kaum Akzente, alles in allem einfach nur langweilig und für das gebotene deutlich zu teuer. Wird leider vermutlich bei dem einmaligen Besuch bleiben.

Wir waren zu dritt dort und hatte die Fischplatte. Diese war sehr lecker. Das Preis -Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Und die Besitzer Familie ist sehr charmant. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und empfehlen es weiter.

In einer Seitenstraße gelegen mit einem Hinterhof in dem sich die Terrasse befindet. Sehr tolles Ambiente innen wie außen, die Bedienung ist nett und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine Fischplatte für 2 und die war besser als die auf Kos im Urlaub. Auf jeden Fall ein Tipp und ein Besuch wert.

Es war wirklich ein sehr tolles Essen. Wir hatten die Fischplatte für zwei und es war perfekt. Wir haben sehr hohe Ansprüche was Essen angeht, und unsere Erwartungen wurden bei diesem Gericht übertroffen! Die Wirtin ist sehr gastfreundlich und sehr aufmerksam - sie steckt ihr ganzes Herz hinein, das merkt man. Diese Herzlichkeit sollten sich viele Restaurants zum Vorbild nehmen!
