We had a wonderful evening here as a couple and enjoyed the four-course meal. The dishes were very well thought out and beautifully presented. The ingredients were superb, and the preparation was spot on. The atmosphere was very pleasant and, despite the fine dining, very relaxed! The service was always very friendly and attentive. A great team that works well together. We spent a total of four hours there, so definitely plan accordingly. Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back!

An evening like a roller coaster ride. The welcome and seating proceeded with "Find a nice table for two," only to be excitedly asked by another colleague two seconds after being charmingly seated if you had a reservation. This immediately makes you feel warmly welcomed. The wine list doesn't include any wines by the glass. A drinks menu was never found. The aperitif recommendation was rosé champagne and non-alcoholic Prisecco. Both were described with the adjective "delicious," making it very difficult for the guest to decide. Unfortunately, we never found out what kind of champagne (Prosecco on the bill) was served. But it was truly delicious and sparkling. The menu orders for two four-course meals had to be placed twice because the charming colleague unfortunately forgot the order and subsequently swapped the positions. The order for a bottle of wine was also placed twice. The wine bottle was immediately placed on ice without being presented or verified. After 15 minutes, the wine bottle was opened upon request, and when it was cut, it was noted that the bottle was incorrect. The colleague searched for the correct bottle, but it was sold out. As a gesture of goodwill, the opened bottle was then uncorked and sold at the same price (otherwise, we would have run out of the restaurant). The four courses were perfectly prepared, at the right temperature, and surprisingly, served correctly. The service improved during the intermezzo course, as it was already 10:00 PM and several tables were leaving. During the main course, which featured a great roast beef and a great red wine, the neighboring table started smoking cigars and chain smoking. Extremely unfortunate, extremely inappropriate. Conclusion: Great cuisine, creative dishes, good prices (4 courses for €90), great location, beautiful terrace. However, the service unfortunately does not live up to its claim (a wine list with bottles costing well over €1,000). The staff is charming and polite, but the service flow needs some improvement (e.g., fewer guests, only two seatings, etc.).

I've rarely eaten as much as I did at 965 on Zunftstraße in Durlach. The four-course menu was simply gigantic – one explosion of flavor after another, creatively composed and perfectly balanced. At first, I thought, "Will this fill me up?" – and by the end, I wished it would never end. From the warm, homemade bread to the lovingly prepared welcome from the kitchen to the refreshing sorbet as an intermezzo – every detail is just right. The portion sizes are cleverly thought out: you'll end up floating home full, satisfied, and delighted. The service is top-notch: attentive, yet pleasantly unobtrusive – just as you'd expect from a top-class restaurant. The value for money is simply outstanding for this level. I would say without hesitation: the best restaurant within a 100-kilometer radius – at least! An evening here isn't just a meal, it's an experience. Unreservedly recommended!

Also exceptionally good and incredible value for money. Friendly and very competent service. You wouldn't want to eat anywhere else. A very clear improvement on the previous restaurant, the Mediteranee.

On Valentine's Day we sat in a room that looked more like a closet with a bowling alley vibe - not exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for for a special evening. The service was very friendly, but initially a bit stressed and not entirely focused on the matter. Three stars because the cuisine was really convincing, but the overall experience wasn't good.

Five of us and our dog went to the 9I65 restaurant in Durlach and had a fantastic experience. We were warmly greeted as soon as we entered. The food was upscale and exclusive - every dish was a real pleasure and perfectly prepared. The stylish furnishings and the always attentive waiters made the evening perfect.

BUT if I pay over 40 euros for around 120g of steak and TWO small croquettes then I have to be honest SORRY FRIENDS, but unfortunately the relationship doesn't work here at all. If 5 people at the table end up feeling like they could eat something again, then no matter how good the food is, we definitely won't be coming back

Everything was just right. My husband and I went to the Mediterrane in Durlach for the first time last Saturday without any great expectations. The first impression was "we are welcome here", the service was discreet but very attentive. The food is a dream. For us as self-proclaimed gourmets, it’s a feast for the senses. The boss told us the history of the restaurant over the course of this entertaining 4-hour evening and showed us the premises at the end of our visit. Finally we got to know the head of the kitchen. Thank you very much to the entire Mediterranean team for this wonderful evening. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to it.

Every course was very tasty, the selection is varied and there is something for everyone! Particularly noteworthy is the flexibility of the cuisine, which consists, for example, of a non-veg. Can conjure up a vegetarian dish. Not everywhere in upscale restaurants respond to customer requests in this way. Therefore 10/10 from me. The time between courses was optimal and was bridged with small delicacies. A great evening, we'll be back!

We went here for dinner on Valentine's Day. The food was good, the ingredients were fresh, but you have to say that for the money you get something more and more elaborate in other good restaurants in Karlsruhe. Unfortunately, there was only one waitress for the 10 tables in our room, the poor man was really busy, but was super friendly. Unfortunately our receipt was wasted in the kitchen and so we waited almost an hour for dessert. But the service was very professional and consoled us with a limoncello on the house. Things like that happen sometimes, especially on a day like this. There are bonus points for serving local water. Nobody needs overconfident imports that don't taste any different. About the ambience: basically nice...but who made the color selection? Meat-sausage-colored walls and light blue ceiling combined with half-timbering and rough plaster. That's a bit risky, to put it mildly.

I invited people to the Christmas party at the Mediterranean and reserved a table. I looked at the menu in advance and chose what I wanted to eat. When we arrived, the restaurant put together a special menu for us without prior consultation, not according to my or our wishes. .. Nothing vegetarian, and my dishes were no longer on the menu either. When I asked, they said it was mushy, with so many people a la carte isn't possible. Both the service and the chef were very unfriendly. The waiters were overwhelmed and disrupted the evening, Conclusion, would like to but can't for the service, kitchen was good but inflexible. It was determined by the restaurant that the guests would not be asked. I can't recommend it, maybe better with 2 people... I won't go there again, wasn't worth a tip.

Our enthusiasm would certainly have continued if you had at least admitted that instead of a mustard sauce with the fish (which was great!, but not as ordered), we were served a lobster sauce with sweet potato. Overall, a slightly negative feeling prevails for €240 in the evening, without an apology or a drink on the house.

Das Restaurant versucht in die Oberklasse zu kommen. Mit den Preisen haben sie es geschafft, allerdings mit dem Essen steht noch sehr viel offen. Meine Portion des Hauptganges beinhaltete auf dem Papier ziemlich vielfältige Lebensmittel, auf dem Teller war die Portion winzig mit kleinen Kleksen der Beilage. Was mich überrascht hat: Von den versprochenen Zuckererbsen habe ich einen Stängel gesehen mit lustigen Spiralen, die man eigentlich nicht isst, sondern nur zur Dekoration einsetzt. Um satt zu werden, muss man am Besten alle Gänge nehmen, die ab 20 Euro abwärts kosten. Man hat uns zwischendurch Brot mit Aufstrich, zuckerhaltigen Schaum und noch komische Flüssigkeit mit ebenfalls mit Schaum gebracht. Für alle das Gleiche. Am Ende war ich nicht satt, da ich mich nicht mit Brot vollstopfen wollte, das zwischendurch gebracht wurde. Ich ging halb hungrig nach Hause.

Sehr lecker! Der Service war sehr gut. Man hat uns zwar erklärt, daß Personalnot herrscht und 2/3 der Mitarbeiter nur zur Aushilfe eingesprungen, dennoch hat alles geklappt. Das Menü war hervorragend. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und einfach den komplette Abend genossen. Preis Leistung stimmt hier noch im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Karlsruher Restaurants. Die Weinkarten ist außerdem gut bestückt. Auch mit schweren Kalibern aus dem Bordeaux. Kurz gesagt, top Service, lecker Essen und guter Wein in schönem Ambiente. Wer sich was gönnen will, kann sich hier fallen lassen.
