We stayed in the hotel above with our baby for a long weekend. The complete package included a breakfast buffet and dinner in the Gudlak restaurant. The breakfast was extremely extensive, so that no wish was left unfulfilled. There was even fresh decaffeinated coffee straight from the barister. The staff was always friendly and attentive. That was very pleasant. The team consisted almost entirely of young people under 30, all highly motivated and in a good mood, which was very refreshing to experience. The dinner was great! My husband doesn't eat fish, but there was only fish or vegetarian to choose from. Even he was enthusiastic about the vegetarian curry. And as a meat fan! We would love to come back!

A dream on the Baltic Sea, from the service to the food it was excellent!

We came here because of the good reviews on our Baltic Sea vacation. But we were very disappointed. The service in particular was weak given the price category. We were assigned a place outside, which was great because of the weather. However, we had the feeling that the tables outside were virtually ignored. After 15 minutes we asked inside for a card, which we had to look for first. After ordering the drinks, they were put on the table so quickly and the waitress left again that it was not possible to order food and there was probably no interest in it. After another 10 minutes we went back in to ask if it was going to happen today. The food took some time, but it was very tasty. But given the price, that's what I expect to a certain extent. However, due to the negative experiences with the service, I would not come back again.

When we entered the restaurant, despite many empty tables, we had to wait almost 5 minutes until we were escorted to our table. Window seat, view of the fjord. On the way there, the service person asked us how we got there. We were slightly irritated because we live in the surrounding area... But okay, it's not written on anyone's forehead! The menus were handed to us quickly. It should have been noticeable here that the table was obviously full of crumbs. This has not been remedied. Unfortunately, the wine glasses at the seats weren't really clean, as was the selection of vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. For starters we ordered the six pack. In principle it was a great idea, but the price was actually very high for the fact that products from the deep fryer ended up on the plate. A pity. We would have expected more here. For the main course we ordered the Argentinian beef fillet. My wife medium rare, I medium. Both fillets were well done. Of course you could have objected to that. But that would probably have resulted in the fillet being thrown away. That would also have been a shame. The whole thing was garnished with 5 pieces of asparagus and a nice decoration of various sauces. There was no explicit supplement. Nevertheless, here's some praise: The fillet was still tasty, even if not as ordered! Other service staff who gave us more drinks in the meantime surprised us. The drinks were simply pushed through from the end of the table. I know this “service” from bars and pubs. When paying we asked to pay by card. After we received the bill, we waited a few minutes to pay, but unfortunately no one came. So we paid in cash and added the sum, plus tip, to the bill. And still no one came after another few minutes. So we let the counter know. Bottom line, perhaps complaining at a high level, at this price range we expect not only a view of the fjord, but also the rest of the ambience of an upscale restaurant. To explain the asterisks: 3 for the meal because the fillet tasted good, but only three because it wasn't prepared as desired and the six pack would actually have been enough for only 2 stars. 2 for the service... When the service person was there she was very nice. However, additional training would be welcome here. 2 for the ambience... crumbly layer, unclean glasses and last but not least the look when walking under the table which told us that the floor had been crying out for attention for a while. Maybe we'll give the Gudlak another chance at some point... In principle, we like to visit local restaurants, but unfortunately the first visit was rather disappointing.

We had a dinner included in our booking. It was simply fantastic. It tasted incredibly good, even though it was a vegetarian main course. You could, for a small amount, buy additional shrimp, chicken or something else. The starter was also very tasty. Can definitely be recommended. 👍

We know the Gudlak from previous holidays and have always been thrilled. We went there again with these expectations and were unfortunately disappointed. The service was a disaster! In detail: We had reserved for 4 people, the table was only set for two people, which went undetected by the service. We were brought three cards with the note that the fourth was coming soon. Nothing came, but you can also make do with 3 cards. Starter ordered from the “hot starters”. The starter and main course came at the same time. It doesn't work at all! The starter (“hot starter”) was the size of a main course. A note in advance would have been nice. By the way, the table was still only set for two people. When I pointed out that we needed two more place settings, “I’ll bring them straight away.” And nothing happened again! After two minutes I got two place settings from the service cart because the starter and main course were still in front of me. In the meantime I noticed that two people at the next table also had problems with the service and had the bill come early because their food wasn't ready after an hour. To be fair, our food was good, as expected. After the meal, the plates were cleared away promptly and coffee was served, but then the service was no longer visible at our table or nearby for another 20 minutes. Finally I went to the bar to order the bill. “We'll come right away.” After 5 minutes someone actually came, but only to ask if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. I described the points described here. We were then given up on coffee. Hmm, nice, but I would have much preferred good service. Conclusion: Contrary to our original plans, we didn't go there again on our vacation. Maybe again next time, but then only on probation.

We were looking for something other than snacks and fast food for dinner in conjunction with a walk along the promenade and came across the "Gudlak" by chance this evening. (That's why we can't say anything about the parking situation.) And what can I say: we haven't eaten such excellent and exquisite food for years! First on the beautiful terrace with a view of the water of the Flensburg Fjord and the attractive beach activities, it was no problem at all to move indoors when it got a little cooler. Enjoyed the sumptuous starter "SixxPack" for 2 people outside (including a sensational Togarashi butter!), and continued inside with "Baked Fish Gudlak Style" and "Argentine Beef Fillet". It wasn't a problem to get freshly prepared vegetables instead of a side dish of potatoes. This was of exceptional quality (like all the food we had prepared!) and cooked to perfection (including the fillet!), fine, aromatic, perfectly seasoned and a visual feast for the eyes. The staff was very concerned about our well-being. We really felt so comfortable that we would like to share this with everyone who is still thinking about whether they should eat there. Treat yourself to something special and tasty! It goes without saying that this is not available for the well-known "apple and egg"... Just in passing: It's clear on the menu that there isn't sushi every day! Therefore, this criterion is not considered a point deduction in other evaluations! The ambience and the view are second to none! We were lucky and were able to watch the sun go down from the huge panoramic windows. Thank you for this magical evening! We will always have the happiest and dreamiest memories of this! Keep it up! We will be back!

We sat outside on the terrace and wanted to order something from the handwritten “additional menu” that was next to the entrance to the indoor area. Unfortunately, it was easy, it was only for hotel guests :-(! Then you either have to write it down or put it somewhere else if you make such differences. Changing something from the current menu (for all guests) is also not possible, for example . from baked potatoes. It's calculated like that... I can even understand it. The food was delicious, but you can't rest on your laurels after 8:15 p.m. There were still hotel guests who were told that The kitchen is already closed. Luckily, the ambience on the terrace could definitely be improved.

Really highly recommended! We also wanted to be convinced by the Gudlak and just tried our luck. The courteous staff made for a fun and relaxing evening, not to mention the ambience: sea view with sunset in the background. We were really excited. The food also met expectations. Unfortunately, we were also unlucky that we were there at the wrong time of year for the dish we wanted - that's a shame, unfortunately we'll have to go there again in the winter;) Always happy again :)

The Gudlak restaurant has a truly fantastic location directly on the beach in Glücksburg and impresses with its stylish and harmonious ambience. Unfortunately, these positive aspects could not completely save our visit. Unfortunately, the employees seemed very hectic and sometimes overwhelmed. Initially we were told there would be a wait of around 40 minutes for sushi platters. Shortly thereafter, this waiting time increased to 1.5 hours after ordering two plates. Another record was reluctantly recorded. We were initially told that the table was not only reserved for two hours, as communicated by email, but had an open end. This statement was revised again during the waiting period. The sushi platters ended up arriving well before the other orders at our table, resulting in another wait. The food was beautifully presented and visually appealing, but the quality left a lot to be desired on this day. For the steep prices, location and ambience, we were honestly disappointed. In addition, we were not asked during our stay whether we would like any more drinks or dessert. Rather, the waiter came later with the words “I have to stop here now and collect”, which we found very difficult. Unfortunately, there will probably be no further visits to the Gudlak restaurant. The beautiful location and the pleasant ambience could not compensate for the organizational deficiencies and the poor quality of service.

We went there for dinner today. Everything was very tasty and plentiful, only the portion of the BBQ ribs was sparse. When asked, the restaurant manager immediately brought a second helping. The prices are a little higher, but absolutely reasonable for the quality, service and ambience

My family and I go to Gudlak regularly. The food is very good, especially the sushi is second to none. The menu changes a bit too often in my opinion, but you can always find something tasty. The view right on the water is of course great. The staff is very friendly, especially the trainee Lasse, who always creates a pleasant atmosphere with his friendly, cheerful and competent manner, so that you as a guest always feel welcome and in good hands!

1970s “chic” from the outside, very modern from the inside. With a few exceptions, the service is very friendly and accommodating. Always attentive and very quick :) The food was great, except for the burger, the meatballs tasted warmed up. However, the bacon jam from the burger was excellent. Drinks and cocktails are above average. The whiskey sour in particular met my taste exactly.

Short and on point: We had the Mediterranean buffet with 80 wedding guests and it was perfect! The roast beef was perfect, the salmon was the best I've ever had and the desserts replaced the cake incredibly well. The service was outstanding - on every level. The longer version with thanks to the team: The fantastic team prepared absolutely everything - from the table decorations to the Lego edition for the children. Even two weeks later, our guests are still raving about the roast beef that was sliced ​​thick as requested and the salmon cooked to perfection - I can't even get started on the desserts. We ate at Gudlack three days in a row. We were always served and treated in an extremely friendly and courteous manner. Unfortunately, the quality and presentation of the food did not reach the quality shown on the Kabel1 television show. On the first and second days my food was really good. I don't know what it was, but the food on the third day was bad. A rump steak was ordered medium, but unfortunately it came out divided into two pieces and was unfortunately also tough. I want to write fairly and honestly here. I hope it was a failure, because the team in the restaurant has already proven that they really master good cuisine. I think the idea of ​​Euro-Asian cuisine is great. I wish the team continued success.

Very nice restaurant! It is modern and equipped with maritime decorations/murals. We were there on two evenings and were greeted and served in a very friendly manner each time. It's a pretty young team and everyone has a saying on their lips, but always remains very polite. The food is excellent - deserved first place in “My Local, Your Local”! The sushi is freshly prepared on site and is very, very tasty! Likewise the food for the kids, served simply but very attractively and it tasted great. The house gin (Skin Gin) also definitely convinced me here, even though I'm not a gin fan. 😅 The price is a bit higher, but for the view of the sea and the atmosphere + friendliness of the service staff, that's quite reasonable 👍🏻

We wanted to register for breakfast. We were told that it wouldn't be a problem and that we could just come over. A reservation is not necessary. We set off for Glücksburg. In the restaurant we were then told in a rather unfriendly manner that there was no room for us and that we could try again in 1.5 hours. Very unfriendly on a Sunday lunchtime, not even offering a place for walk-in customers to have a coffee. There were 7 people. It said no, opening time only for hotel guests was 4:30 p.m. Although the whole restaurant is empty, it seems that they don't want to make any sales here or they don't value it.

They're doing something right: We were there on two consecutive Saturdays and both times we had nice, funny waitresses who clearly enjoyed their work. The starter ("Sixpack") is sensational - don't ask for long, order blindly! Everything else too, right down to dessert.

Very nice restaurant with stylish furnishings, great and attentive service. The onion roast is an absolute recommendation, the sauce and meat are really great! The only mistake we made was ordering an additional starter (truffle fries), which we didn't need, the portion of roast beef with the cheese spaetzle was really very fair! Aperitif also good selection and at the end you got two espressos on the house. Completely satisfied, will be happy to come back at any time!

The roast pork for this dinner was tasty, but rather cheap with the bouillon as a starter. Once again, Louis was our waitress of the evening. A big thank you for his friendly, relaxed but always professional manner. He knows the products, always has a good saying and knows how to fulfill his role. You need people like that in the catering industry. Employees like him create unique memories during a great vacation. Thanks.

Very nice atmosphere and a balanced menu. Unfortunately the service was a bit of a disaster. I had asked for a wine list and while looking at it I was asked if we would like to drink wine!? We then ordered a bottle. The waiter opened it quite laboriously, broke off the cork (that can happen) and then wanted to fill the glasses straight away. I asked him that I would like to try the wine in advance. he replied that it was a very good idea 😂. Oh well. Unfortunately, the meat we ordered was very fatty and had a lot of tendons. When I asked the waiter about it, he just replied “that sucks” and I passed it on. That’s it 🙈. No apology - nothing. Incidentally, other drinks that were ordered were not served accordingly, but were pushed from the front across the table to the back. So all in all, there is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of service…

The view and ambience was really nice. We were warmly welcomed. But then we waited a long time until someone came and asked us for drinks. For the starter, which we asked for, we had to wait a long time until the waitress came and said she had forgotten about us. I was probably too fast and the restaurant and the people who work there really deserve high praise. The Gudlak restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Intermar hotel complex. It is very tastefully decorated and offers a wonderful view of the fjord. I'm happy to give it five stars because we got a wonderful surprise menu there. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly. The breakfast at Gudlak is really extensive and is offered as a buffet. The service here is really top. The Gudlak is not just worth a visit.

Essen im Gudlak ist nicht nur ein Gaumen-, sondern auch ein Augenschmaus. Jedes Gericht wurde mit einer unglaublichen Liebe zum Detail angerichtet, was nicht nur den Appetit anregte, sondern auch meine Neugier weckte. Die Kombination von Aromen und Texturen in jedem Gericht zeugte von einer raffinierten Kochkunst. Was mich besonders ansprach, war die Vielfalt der Speisekarte. Egal, ob man sich nach etwas Herzhaftem oder Leichtem sehnt, das Gudlak bietet eine große Auswahl, die auch den anspruchsvollsten Gaumen zufrieden stellt. Und die Portionsgröße - einfach perfekt! Genau das Richtige, um den Hunger zu stillen, ohne sich zu übernehmen. Der Service im Gudlak war ein zweischneidiges Schwert. Zugegeben, es gab Momente, in denen die Aufmerksamkeit etwas verloren ging und Bestellungen scheinbar verzögert wurden. Dennoch möchte ich betonen, dass das Personal stets freundlich und zuvorkommend war. Ihre Herzlichkeit machte die kleinen Unannehmlichkeiten mehr als wett. Alles in allem freue ich mich auf einen weiteren Besuch im Restaurant Gudlak. Die Qualität und Kreativität der Speisen sind wirklich bemerkenswert und machen das Erlebnis zu etwas Besonderem. Mit einer kleinen Verbesserung im Service könnte dieses Restaurant ohne Zweifel ein absoluter Favorit werden.

Ob zum Abendessen, Frühstück oder auch nur auf einen Absacker, ob brechend voll zur Hauptsaison oder etwas gelassener während der ruhigeren Zeit: das Gudlak bot jederzeit ein hohes Maß an Service, herausragende Qualität und kreative Vielfalt beim Essen, gepaart mit einem modern-gemütlichem Ambiente und immer einer Portion Überraschung. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die fast schon familiär erscheinende Harmony des Service Teams, welches aufmerksam-professional und unauffällig jeden Service (-wunsch) erfüllt. Stellvertretend für das Team möchten wir insbesondere Paolo erwähnen, welcher u.a. mit seinem Charme und Witz unsere Aufenthalte zum Erlebnis gemacht hat. In Zeiten von Fachkräftemangel in der Gastronomie kann man nur erahnen welches Maß an Motivation und Führung hierfür täglich vonnöten ist. Wir kommen gern wieder…

Selten so begeistert! Unser Familien-Geburtstag im Restaurant war ein echtes Highlight. Das Personal war äußerst professionell, gut geschult und aufmerksam, erklärte die Gerichte mit Begeisterung. Jeder Bissen war ein Gaumenschmaus, die Kreativität in der Küche beeindruckend. Das Ambiente rundete den perfekten Abend ab. Absolut empfehlenswert für besondere Anlässe und ein sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis !

Sehr schönes Design-Restaurant , wundervolle Aussicht auf die Flensburger Förde, grosser Barbereich. Wir sind auf einen spontanen Drink vor dem Regen hinein geflüchtet. Es war sehr angenehm und mein spezieller Wunsch nach einem alkoholfreien Gin Fizz wurde natürlich erfüllt. Danke ! Stand so nicht auf der Karte. Die Speisekarte hat vieles zu bieten. Wir werden dort demnächst auch mal essen. Die Preise sind von gehobener Art. Das ist stimmig zum Ambiente. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht, eine Reservierung ist bestimmt sinnvoll. Auch die Hotelgäste speisen dort. Aber auch spontane Gäste wurden freundlich empfangen. Wie wir. Danke an die netten Servicekräfte.

Es war einfach wunderschön dort zu essen, vor allem wenn man durch den Panorama Blick direkt den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Das Personal, vielseitig in Hinsicht von Sprache wie English die Fließend und gut verständlich gesprochen wird, dazu sehr freundliches Personal. Das Hotel Restaurant befindet sich in perfekter Lage direkt am Strand. Ich komme gerne wieder. <3

Wir hatten das Überraschungsmenü. Super lecker! Vor allem das Avocado Mosaik zu beginn war eine Überraschung! Sonnenuntergangsblick am Strand bekommt man übrigens gratis dazu, wenn man Abends hingeht 😀

Das Ambiente, die Top Lage, die Liebe zum Detail sowie das Personal ist einfach Spitze. Kann ich zu 100% jedem weiter empfehlen.

Ein sehr schön gelegenes Restaurant. Herrliches Essen inklusive Sonnenuntergang. Auch die Cocktails sind lecker und farbenfroh. Tipp: Danach noch eine runde im Strand spazieren oder vom Steg ins Wasser springen.

Alles echt gut! Geht hier besser hin als in das Glückselig. Gutes Essen, guter Service, gutes Ambiente.

Jetzt: Nach Corona... Endlich man kann wieder richtig schön ins Restaurant gehen. Das Gudlak ist von seinen Corona Auflagen befreit worden. Das Ambiente hat nie darunter gelitten, aber jetzt kommt es umso schöner zur Geltung. Es ist in seiner Raumgestaltung schön und fügt sich mit dem Ausblick auf die Förde in eine stimmige Harmonie. Man muss hier nicht am Fenster sitzen, es ist sogar noch netter vom Blick, wenn man in der "zweiten Reihe " sitzt. Dann fügt sich der Ausblick wie ein Gemälde in die Raumgestaltung wunderbar ein. Nun zum Essen! Das Essen war und ist immer wieder ein kulinarisches Highlight. Die Speisen sind immer frisch zubereitet und saisonal abgestimmt. Die Teller sind ein Augenweide. Das Essen ist fantastisch angerichtet und lädt auf eine unglaublich leckere Art und Weise zum Genießen ein. Wir waren von den dargebotenen Gerichten wieder einmal sehr begeistert. Das Niveau dieser Küche ist hervorragend! So schön das angeführte auch war, wies es dieses Mal eine unfassbare Diskrepanz zum Service auf. Wenn ich eine Küche habe, die auf einem sehr hohem Niveau kocht, das Ambiente einen ebenso stimmigen Rahmen dafür bietet, erwarte ich auch einen gewissen Service, der diesem entspricht. Das Restaurant war nicht voll, aber man musste fast zu dem Personal gehen, wenn man noch einen Wunsch hatte. Das habe ich anders in Erinnerung und es war vormals wesentlich besser. Es stand damals immer jemand im passenden Moment am Tisch... Das Personal war vor Monaten bedeutend aufmerksamer. Es ist mehr als nur schade, dass es nun nicht mehr der Fall ist. Es trübte nun bedeutend das ehemals sehr stimmige Bild des GUDLAKs. Vor 2 Jahren: Ich hatte vor gut einer Woche das Vergnügen und den Genuß am Abend im GUDLAK zu speisen. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und der Service sehr aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Essen war optisch eine Augenweide. Es wird mit frischen Zutaten und nach Möglichkeit mit regionalen Produkten gekocht. Das Gericht war raffiniert zubereitet worden, ohne kulinarisch "überkandidelt" zu sein. Es war für uns ein absoluter Gaumenschmaus. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist sehr stimmig. Man genießt eine sehr feine Küche zu einem mehr als akzeptablen Preis. Das GUDLAK schreit förmlich nach einen Wiederholungsbesuch.

Ist ein must have wenn man in Glücksburg ist.

Wir haben hier ausgezeichnetes Essen und Getränke genossen. Was wirklich richtig - entschuldigt den Ausdruck - geil war, war das Service-Team..so frisch, so gute Laune versprühend, so aufmerksam. Danke dafür...es war ein perfekter Abend bei und mit Euch. Klare Empfehlung für eine schöne und genussvolle Zeit. Wir kommen wieder und freuen uns drauf.

Tolles Restaurant! Philip ist als Bar-Chef sehr zuvorkommend und liest die Wünsche von den Lippen ab. Dank ihm war der Geburtstag sensationell!

Jeg fik asparges med steak. Asparges og kartofler var super men steaken var sej og næsten umuligt at skære og tykke. Da min kone sagde det til tjeneren sagde han at han havde ikke tilberedt det, han kunne i det mindste have undskyldt det.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht zum Wasser! Das Essen und der Service waren sehr gut. Es wird definitiv nicht der letzte Besuch gewesen sein.

Fantastisk mad, intet mindre. Lidt mere information fra personale ville ikke skade. Vi bestilte brød til forret der kom med brød. Så flere detaljer i menuen tak. Men sikke noget mad. Mange klassikere med et suverænt Gudlak twist. Og da de står for morgenmaden på det overliggende hotel, trak Gudlak personalet også hotel oplevelsen et par stjerner op.

Super Service und das Essen ein Erlebnis. Wer nicht nur satt werden will, ist hier richtig. Der Kartoffelstampf mit Backfisch ist ein Genuss. Preis und Leistung sind angemessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
