Food was great but slow to come to the table. Service was overwhelmed because there was one waitress and she was training the other one, in a full restaurant. That is difficult, even for an experienced waitress. But they were both super friendly and everything would have been great if they had 1 more person working. I saw the store online and was impressed by the pictures of the food. I then tried sweet & spicy chicken wings and a garden lemonade at the restaurant. Everything was very tasty: chicken wings were juicy and spicy, the fries were nice and crispy and had the right amount of salt. The garden lemonade was very refreshing and definitely homemade. At the waiter's recommendation, I then tried a "surprise lemonade". Was also very tasty. I'll be back.

The food tastes okay. The chicken was also a decent portion. However, the burgers were a joke. Accordingly, the prices are significantly too high. You also pay €2.5 for a dollop of sauce, way too overpriced. The waitress is very nice but somehow doesn't really know what to do. Our starter plates hadn't been cleared yet when the main course arrived. The food is hardly African either. You can do it once, but you don't have to do it a second time.

I was recommended this restaurant by an African work colleague (I shouldn't be disappointed). Five of us were there this afternoon. The starter was Babaganush. As main courses, salad with gambas, jollof rice with beef and although according to the menu this dish is only available on Fridays, fuffu with beef. The dishes were new to all of us, we had never eaten African food before. We were all very surprised at the spiciness of the dishes. I think I have a new favorite dish. The atmosphere is very modern. We will come again.

Despite the bad weather, you could enjoy your meal outside. Jollof rice with beef was super tasty. The starters were rich and tasty. Only the fish dish could have had more fish or a delicious sauce. The owner's recommendation for the banana bread dessert was the crowning glory. That was super tasty.

I had the pleasure of dining at this Cleopatra African Restaurant and all I can say is it was an outstanding experience! The dishes are incredibly delicious, with authentic flavors that take you straight to Africa. The chicken wings in particular were a highlight – perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The service was first class: attentive, friendly and always trying to make us feel comfortable. The entire ambience of the restaurant is inviting and cozy. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I look forward to my next visit. Highly Recommended!

Immediately at the beginning you are greeted warmly by the young man and taken to the square. Shortly afterwards we had the food and drink menus in our hands. All orders were brought to the table in a reasonable amount of time. We were always served courteously and friendly. When the dishes came to the table, we were pleasantly surprised by the way the food was presented. Overall, all three dishes were also convincing in terms of taste. Finally, there was the home-baked banana cake, which was also prepared with attention to detail. Of course the price of the food is a little higher. As is well known, quality has its price. A potential visitor should therefore think about whether they prefer mass-produced goods at dumping prices in the form of an "all you van eat" or whether they are prepared to spend a little more money for such a successful evening. We would definitely like to come back.

The food at this place is exactly how Egypt was after Cleopatra passed away,, messed up!!!! The staff was perfect btw!!!!

Unfortunately we were disappointed. One dish (burger) was very good, but the salads were ready-made, like those from Aldi and Co, as was the (far too little) dressing. Dry frozen falafel. We had ordered three glasses of wine, two different types came back without asking (the same one was ordered) because one bottle was apparently empty. The only nice thing was the ambience and service, but unfortunately they were charged three times in the bill. Very unfortunate.

Actually we just wanted to go to the Europahalle and have a little drink beforehand. And actually we didn't want to eat anything. But a few shots are always good, right? Especially when they laugh at you like that from the next table. Sure, of course I'll take the African-spiced ones because the guy next door had them too. And he looked like he knew what he was doing. Yes, he knew. I'm familiar with fried potatoes, but I wasn't prepared for this taste explosion. Probably the best I've ever eaten. The service contributes to the overall impression. Easy-going, friendly, deeply relaxed but still fast. That's exactly how I want to see it. We'll definitely be back.

In terms of flair, wood and dark velvety colors mix. The service is super friendly and very entertaining. The Cleopatra Extra plate not only looked delicious, but it was also delicious. Not spicy for me, an A was implemented. Clear recommendation!!!

The waitress/boss were very, very friendly. The atmosphere is less West African, more steakhouse. The food, however, is (super delicious). The owner should just have more confidence, African spices, peanut sauce and fufu from West Africa are very, very tasty. You should challenge your customers and move away from the steak house to the Afro restaurant. The thrill and courage to be special attracts more customers. Otherwise it was very, very tasty and great.

This place was cool. They seem to be just starting out, but I'm excited for their future. The food was delicious and the waiter was tentative. I had a Cleo Special dish with rice, grilled vegetables, and shrimp! I have to add that the music playlist was the bomb! They played a mix of jazz, afrobeat, and hip-hop which made our evening amazing! We will be back for sure. It's the only place in Trier that I've seen that combines good African fusion food with great music.

We had reserved a table for Saturday. The online reservation went smoothly. I asked for name tags as an extra. These were not in place. The chairs are comfortable but the table wobbled so I had to ask for beer mats to solve the problem myself. The waitresses were both quite friendly. About the food: The entrecote we ordered (pictured) was unfortunately very poorly seasoned and instead of medium rare, it was rather well done. Shoe soles are probably tastier. The sweet potato fries were okay...but more like Burger King style. The BBQ sauce was definitely not homemade. The T Bone Steak 700gr I ordered wasn't really medium either, unfortunately because it was expensive. Unfortunately, the burger we ordered (The Nubian Queen or something similar) was not suitable for consumption. The burger patty was so well done instead of medium that the burger had to be left alone. It's a shame because it's also expensive. Let's not even talk about spices. The salmon was so far...ok. Note 3- The dessert of lava chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was beautifully decorated and sweet as it should be. But here too I am of the opinion that it was not homemade. Unfortunately it was our first and last visit there. Summa sumarum 180€ for little quality. Very unfortunate.

Several people were at the reserved table on time and the second one was occupied. 2 at the table had their food quite quickly. Eigentlich heißt das Restaurant inzwischen Cleopatra. Der Inhaber ist super nett! Alle Zutaten der Gerichte sind frisch und das Essen schmeckt super gut.

Es ist weniger ein Steakhaus. Mehr ein Ägypter/Nordafrikaner, dafür aber ein guter. Das Essen wirkt sehr authentisch und schmeckt sehr lecker. Das Personal ist jung und freundlich, sehr bemüht um das Wohl der Gäste. Mein Burger sollte scharf sein, das war er aber nicht. Der Koch selbst hat sich über die gewünschte Schärfe bei mir informiert. Also ich sagte, dass es nicht scharf war, brachte er mir eine kleine Schale Schärfe Sauce, das ist guter Service! Die Pommes waren sehr gut und knusprig und gehören zum Burger dazu, ebenso ausreichend Mayonnaise.

Ein sehr freundliches Personal, tolles Ambiente, sehr zu empfehlen , für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei!

Angenehm überrascht, sehr gute Küche (bezogen auf unsere Bestellung, Strammer Flank und Rumpsteak) und auch der Service. Gerne wieder 😋

An unserem Abend war die Bedienung etwas chaotisch und hat die Bestellungen leicht durcheinander gebracht, das Essen war aber lecker.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Alles auf dem Punkt. Lecker. Sehr zu Empfehlen. Waren hier als Urlauber vom Niederrhein.

Eten was goed. Bediening was amateuristisch. 3x komen vragen wat we eten. Gerechten die er niet waren en dan weer wel. Nam veel tijd voor de bediening vroeg wat we wilde drinken. Nogmaals eten was goed. Prijs prestatie verhouding niet goed dus.

Alles, was ein Steak braucht, bekommt man hier. Die Karte ist gut und übersichtlich, die Portionen groß, das Essen lecker. Unsere Bedienung war der hilfsbereit und hat uns gut beraten. Das Ambiente modern, die Tellersprache macht Lust auf mehr. Bei gutem Wetter kann man draußen sitzen. Leider sind Parkplätze nur bedingt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Parkhäuser gibt es dafür in der Stadt. Zwei Probleme gab es beim Essen: Unsere Steaks sollten medium sein, waren aber durch. Da das Fleisch trotz allem noch saftig war, haben wir es nur der Küche ausrichten lassen, er das Essen nicht zurück gehen lassen, wie es uns angeboten wurde. Wäre zu schade gewesen, das Fleisch weg zu werfen. Aber, wie gesagt, uns wurde ein frisches Gericht angeboten. 👍 Beim Kaffee hatte ich leider weniger Glück. Die Tasse war zu einem viertel mit Satz gefüllt. Wahrscheinlich ist der Siebträger nicht richtig drauf gewesen. Habe Bescheid gegeben, leider wurde kein Neuer angeboten oder der Kaffee von der Rechnung genommen. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Und hat es trotz allem gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Tipp: sollte etwas nicht passen, nicht scheuen und reklamieren. Hier wird wirklich professionell mit Kritik umgegangen. 👍👍👍👍

The waiters seemed inexperienced but working hard to do everything well. we were not asked how we wanted our steak cooked, bit weird as this is a steak restaurant. Carpaccio bland and watery in the middle. Frozen? The steak was lean but bland, over cooked and possibly in oil, again perhaps from frozen. If you want an excellent fresh steak, dont go here.

Heel lekker gegeten. Zeker de moeite waard! Steak en zalm besteld en voor de kinderen chicken wings en snitzel. Beviel ook hen prima. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, niets mis mee.

Personal sehr freundlich, Grillgemüse lecker, Steak eine Katastrophe. Für mein Fleisch bräuchte man gute Zähne und eine starke Kiefermuskulatur. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Einen Tag zu Besuch in Trier?? Dann kulinarischer „Abschluss“ hier!!! Nach unzähligen Besuchen in diversen Steakhäusern unserer Republik, zählt das „No 13 Grill & Steakhouse“ in Trier, definitiv zu den Top 3! Das Ambiente lädt zum längeren Verweilen ein. Modern und gemütlich, sowie hell und farbenfroh. Siehe Bilder 1 und 2. Die Speisekarte, kann man via QR Code anrufen, sowie das „Feedback“ ebenfalls damit abgeben. Sie Foto 3. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr aufgeschlossen. Hier merkt man, die „Liebe“ zum Beruf und den Respekt vor dem Gast. (Chapeau) Zum Essen: Hohe Qualität, Fleisch auf Nachfrage hin, auf den Punkt, hausgemachte Salatsoße muss unbedingt probiert werden. Scampi 🍤 waren frisch und lecker. Kleiner Tip: Die Kräuterbutter schmeckte massiv nach Safran. Wenn der Gast ein hochwertiges Steak mit Kräuterbutter bestellt, sollte man ihn darauf hinweisen, dass diese mit Safran versehen ist! 5 Sterne + 1 von Herzen!! Das war eine sehr starke Performance!! Gerne beim nächsten Besuch wieder!!!

Das Essen war in Ordnung. War auch schonmal besser. Leider saßen wir drin und der „Oberkellner“ hat am laufenden Band die anderen Mitarbeiter im Raun beschimpft. Das war für andere Gäste und uns extrem unangenehm. Als meine Freundin sich dann mal ein Herz fasste und sagt sie hätte gerne etwas mehr Ruhe, folgte als Antwort „normalerweise haben wir eine Musikanlage“. Das hat leider alles kaputt gemacht.

Ich kam heute am 27.05.2023 zum ersten Mal mit meiner Freundin zu dem Lokal. Wir waren die ersten Gäste und wurden von der Servicekraft sowie dem Inhaber/Koch sehr lieb und herzlich empfangen. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Wir wurden vom Chef/Koch persönlich beraten was die Speisen angeht. Ich habe zu Anfang schon Erwartungen gehabt, weil ich selber daheim leidenschaftlich sehr gute Steaks zubereiten kann. Aber als wir unser Essen bekommen haben, waren wir erstmal sprachlos. Es war perfekt angerichtet und unsere beiden Steaks, hatten den absolut perfekten Gargrad (Medium). So köstlich war es und wir haben definitiv die Liebe geschmeckt, mit der der Koch dies zubereitet hat. Wir kommen natürlich nach dem Positiven Erlebnis öfter mal vorbei. Und das Lokal ist definitiv 5 von 5 Sternen wert. Es ist Sauber, man wird herzlich empfangen, die Servicekraft ist sehr nett sowie der Chef/Koch, das Essen schmeckt köstlich. Einfach alles stimmt dort.
