Well my experience was unforgettable, I made reservations online for me and my Wife even had a table reserved. After driving 2 hours went to check in and I was told my reservation was canceled. I showed them the confirmation email with table. All I got was a half sorry and no offer to possibly reschedule in the future. Never going back, zero planning, zero customer service and zero cares.

Great ambience, friendly service, prices are absolutely right and the food is really delicious! Everything freshly prepared. Simply first class! Always happy and highly recommended!

The treats served here are phenomenal and challenged my taste buds in a delicious way that I won't soon forget. Added to this is the super nice staff, who impressed me with their warmth and professionalism. The combination of exquisite cuisine, friendly service and an ambience reminiscent of a vacation made my visit an unforgettable experience. I'm already looking forward to my next "short break" at the "Cleopatra - Bistro & Bar". This fantastic restaurant will certainly brighten my day and delight my senses again.

Phew, the food preparation took a long time for quite a few guests. The order was a bit complicated as the waiter and we talked past each other quite a bit. The African dishes on the menu were sold out, so the visit had little to do with Africa. Unfortunately, starters could not be served as a main course. All in all, the food was mediocre, the waiting time was long, the communication was complicated… not what we as customers want from a restaurant visit.

Review refers to its predecessor, the Steakhouse No.13 Even though the food is certainly delicious, there is certainly nothing positive to say about the service. Table reserved for 12.00. According to the internet, the restaurant opens at 11:30 and the kitchen at 12. When we got there, the doors weren't even opened until 12:03. We were greeted by the kitchen staff. I sat outside and waited there for half an hour. Unfortunately there was no service to take orders. There were only 3 people present and they didn't want to see me? Sorry, but if you have an outdoor area you have to pay more attention to it. I was really looking forward to the meal, but it ruined my mood so much that I didn't want anything anymore. The apology from the service no longer made any difference. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to the meal

I saw the store online and was impressed by the pictures of the food. I then tried sweet & spicy chicken wings and a garden lemonade at the restaurant. Everything was very tasty: chicken wings were juicy and spicy, the fries were nice and crispy and had the right amount of salt. The garden lemonade was very refreshing and definitely homemade. At the waiter's recommendation, I then tried a "surprise lemonade". Was also very tasty. I'll be back.

The food tastes okay. The chicken was also a decent portion. However, the burgers were a joke. Accordingly, the prices are significantly too high. You also pay €2.5 for a dollop of sauce, way too overpriced. The waitress is very nice but somehow doesn't really know what to do. Our starter plates hadn't been cleared yet when the main course arrived. The food is hardly African either. You can do it once, but you don't have to do it a second time.

I was recommended this restaurant by an African work colleague (I shouldn't be disappointed). Five of us were there this afternoon. The starter was Babaganush. As main courses, salad with gambas, jollof rice with beef and although according to the menu this dish is only available on Fridays, fuffu with beef. The dishes were new to all of us, we had never eaten African food before. We were all very surprised at the spiciness of the dishes. I think I have a new favorite dish. The atmosphere is very modern. We will come again.

Despite the bad weather, you could enjoy your meal outside. Jollof rice with beef was super tasty. The starters were rich and tasty. Only the fish dish could have had more fish or a delicious sauce. The owner's recommendation for the banana bread dessert was the crowning glory. That was super tasty.

Wir haben uns die Auswahl des Restaurants für diesen Abend nicht leicht gemacht und sind aufgrund der Lage und der breit gefächerten Auswahl am Ende im Restaurant No. 13 gelandet. Leider gab es eine komplett andere Karte, als die die auf der Internetseite veröffentlich war. Gut - so etwas kann passieren. Wir blieben, da wir Karten für eine Comedy-Veranstaltung hatten und leider keine Zeit noch einmal die Location zu wechseln. Bei Bestellung wurde uns dann mitgeteilt, dass von der ausgewählten Vorspeise keine ganze Portion mehr vorhanden sei und wir deshalb nur eine halbe Portion bekämen. Dafür dürften wir uns dann später ein Getränk aussuchen. Den gewünschten Wein gab es dann aber auch nicht mehr. Wir hatten erwartet, dass dann wenigstens der Preis der Vorspeise reduziert würde. Dem war jedoch nicht so. Außerdem wurde das Essen zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten gebracht, so dass einige von uns schon fertig waren, als andere erst ihre Vorspeise bekamen. Auch die Qualität der Speisen war nicht toll. Vom Service ganz zu schweigen. Am Ende warteten wir über 30 Minuten auf die Rechnung. Fazit: nicht empfehlenswert!

I had the pleasure of dining at this Cleopatra African Restaurant and all I can say is it was an outstanding experience! The dishes are incredibly delicious, with authentic flavors that take you straight to Africa. The chicken wings in particular were a highlight – perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The service was first class: attentive, friendly and always trying to make us feel comfortable. The entire ambience of the restaurant is inviting and cozy. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I look forward to my next visit. Highly Recommended!

Immediately at the beginning you are greeted warmly by the young man and taken to the square. Shortly afterwards we had the food and drink menus in our hands. All orders were brought to the table in a reasonable amount of time. We were always served courteously and friendly. When the dishes came to the table, we were pleasantly surprised by the way the food was presented. Overall, all three dishes were also convincing in terms of taste. Finally, there was the home-baked banana cake, which was also prepared with attention to detail. Of course the price of the food is a little higher. As is well known, quality has its price. A potential visitor should therefore think about whether they prefer mass-produced goods at dumping prices in the form of an "all you van eat" or whether they are prepared to spend a little more money for such a successful evening. We would definitely like to come back.

The food at this place is exactly how Egypt was after Cleopatra passed away,, messed up!!!! The staff was perfect btw!!!!

Unfortunately we were disappointed. One dish (burger) was very good, but the salads were ready-made, like those from Aldi and Co, as was the (far too little) dressing. Dry frozen falafel. We had ordered three glasses of wine, two different types came back without asking (the same one was ordered) because one bottle was apparently empty. The only nice thing was the ambience and service, but unfortunately they were charged three times in the bill. Very unfortunate.

Actually we just wanted to go to the Europahalle and have a little drink beforehand. And actually we didn't want to eat anything. But a few shots are always good, right? Especially when they laugh at you like that from the next table. Sure, of course I'll take the African-spiced ones because the guy next door had them too. And he looked like he knew what he was doing. Yes, he knew. I'm familiar with fried potatoes, but I wasn't prepared for this taste explosion. Probably the best I've ever eaten. The service contributes to the overall impression. Easy-going, friendly, deeply relaxed but still fast. That's exactly how I want to see it. We'll definitely be back.

The waitress/boss were very, very friendly. The atmosphere is less West African, more steakhouse. The food, however, is (super delicious). The owner should just have more confidence, African spices, peanut sauce and fufu from West Africa are very, very tasty. You should challenge your customers and move away from the steak house to the Afro restaurant. The thrill and courage to be special attracts more customers. This place was cool. They seem to be just starting out, but I'm excited for their future. The food was delicious and the waiter was tentative. I had a Cleo Special dish with rice, grilled vegetables, and shrimp! I have to add that the music playlist was the bomb! They played a mix of jazz, afrobeat, and hip-hop which made our evening amazing! We will be back for sure. It's the only place in Trier that I've seen that combines good African fusion food with great music.

Sehr wohnliches Ambiente - wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt ( Wanddeko aus Holz, saubere bequeme Sitze ). Nicht laut, keine störenden Geräusche oder Gerüche. Netter aufmerksamer Kellner der uns gut umsorgt hat. Die Burger und Cocktails waren sehr lecker ! Jederzeit gerne wieder !

We had reserved a table for Saturday. The online reservation went smoothly. I asked for name tags as an extra. These were not in place. The chairs are comfortable but the table wobbled so I had to ask for beer mats to solve the problem myself. The waitresses were both quite friendly. About the food: The entrecote we ordered (pictured) was unfortunately very poorly seasoned and instead of medium rare, it was rather well done. Shoe soles are probably tastier. The sweet potato fries were okay...but more like Burger King style. The BBQ sauce was definitely not homemade. The T Bone Steak 700gr I ordered wasn't really medium either, unfortunately because it was expensive. Unfortunately, the burger we ordered (The Nubian Queen or something similar) was not suitable for consumption. The burger patty was so well done instead of medium that the burger had to be left alone. It's a shame because it's also expensive. Let's not even talk about spices. The salmon was so far...ok. Note 3- The dessert of lava chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was beautifully decorated and sweet as it should be. But here too I am of the opinion that it was not homemade. Unfortunately it was our first and last visit there. Summa sumarum 180€ for little quality. Very unfortunate.

We went there twice on a weekend and the quality of the food, as well as the service was excellent. It was full both days. The server was kind and smiley and helped us with the menu as we did not speak German. The drinks were brilliant as well and the prices were great. I highly recommend this establishment.

Es ist weniger ein Steakhaus. Mehr ein Ägypter/Nordafrikaner, dafür aber ein guter. Das Essen wirkt sehr authentisch und schmeckt sehr lecker. Das Personal ist jung und freundlich, sehr bemüht um das Wohl der Gäste. Mein Burger sollte scharf sein, das war er aber nicht. Der Koch selbst hat sich über die gewünschte Schärfe bei mir informiert. Also ich sagte, dass es nicht scharf war, brachte er mir eine kleine Schale Schärfe Sauce, das ist guter Service! Die Pommes waren sehr gut und knusprig und gehören zum Burger dazu, ebenso ausreichend Mayonnaise.

Wat was dit???? Wij reserveren bij restaurant no. 13. Bij aankomst scannen we de qr code om het menu te zien. Na een kwartier komt de dienster. De kaart blijkt nie te kloppen. We krijgen andere kaarten. Totaal verschillend van de website en de qr-code. Het restaurant heet plots cleopatra. We bestellen een voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht. Na 45 min vragen we waar het voorgerecht blijft (het was helemaal niet druk). We krijgen een hoop flauwe excuses. Plots krijgen we ons voorgerecht en 3 minuten later ons hoofdgerecht. Bestek hebben we moeten vragen. Eten was niet te eten. Verder geen woorden aan vuil maken. Ah ja, we waren met 4 en kregen 2 servetten. Als we rond ons keken zagen we veel teleurgestelde gezichten. Nooit meer!!!!! Jammer genoeg kan ik geen beoordeling van 0 op 5 geven.

An unserem Abend war die Bedienung etwas chaotisch und hat die Bestellungen leicht durcheinander gebracht, das Essen war aber lecker.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Alles auf dem Punkt. Lecker. Sehr zu Empfehlen. Waren hier als Urlauber vom Niederrhein.

Eten was goed. Bediening was amateuristisch. 3x komen vragen wat we eten. Gerechten die er niet waren en dan weer wel. Nam veel tijd voor de bediening vroeg wat we wilde drinken. Nogmaals eten was goed. Prijs prestatie verhouding niet goed dus.
