NKLN ZOO Smash Burgers and Fries in Berlin

Burgers are out of this World. Delicious and fries are legendary. I can only recommend.

What a sorry state of affairs. Honeymoon ruined. Fella is fuming. Dog wont even touch the bun. What a start to a saturday. Proceed with caution.

Burger itself is okay, but too watery. The fries were way too greasy and too salty. I couldn't keep eating them even though I was really hungry. You easily wait 20 minutes for the food. The food is simply too expensive for the level. The seats are uncomfortable and there are too few.

We became aware of NKLN ZOO Smash Burgers and Fries through a tip. The burgers are great and tasty, and the price is unbeatable. We'll definitely be back 😉!

I wish I had photos but I threw everything away in a rage. I got take out last night. The inside of the burger patty was pink and nearly raw. And this would be fine if people are grinding their meat fresh but I certainly didn’t ask to risk a stomach upset with nearly blue meat. The rest of the burger was fine. So I ate the five bites of the perimeter and left the inside. The portions are not small. Which is commensurate with the price. The truffle mayo is delightful. And then the fries which were absolutely encrusted with salt. The bottom of the box had a white glaze from salt and even after wiping the fries down they were terrible. I only opened the box of fries only after eating the half of the burger or I would have marched back to the place because the fries were really inedible and I kind of want my money back. Add to which the counter staff were kind of rude- and the whole experience is thoroughly missable.

Actually pretty good, always juicy with the mushroom and caramelized onions UPDATE: 4 years after first trying this burger I’m still claiming it’s low-key the best burger in NK and Xberg. Prices still reasonable (in store), food still fresh, portions still huge, and the sweet potato fries remain proper (crispy, salted, North American pub style)👌 Staff is cute too!

Wow, the beetroot burger was fantastic! Also fries with mayo. Unfortunately, the high counter and the few seats don't make it that easy for everyone. Unfortunately there is no toilet or sink. I'll still come back because it was so tasty and the staff was so friendly! Thanks so much :)

Not necessarily suitable for staying for a long time, but burgers and fries, sauces are great! Gladly again.

Just like the other dining establishments on the left and right, there is a limited number of seats inside and outside. Access for people with physical disabilities, e.g. wheelchair users, impossible due to the high stairs. The counter is also at a height that is an obstacle for shorter people like me. But the employee was so friendly and brought the food to my table. The burger was good, but after a few bites I had to eat it with a knife and fork (wooden cutlery) because otherwise a larger portion would have fallen out.

The burger was tasteless. Little to no seasoning. Was quite a disappointment. Fries were good. Unfortunately I can't recommend the burger shop!

Burger falls apart and tastes bland. To do this, add salt to the curly fries. Overall, far too expensive. You can really eat better for the money.

Super tasty beetroot burger. Juicy, the onion note comes through well and a size to fill you up. I'd love to come back.

Leute, ihr bekommt es 1-2x hin, dass die Burger gut sind aber 5x hin, dass man die NICHT essen kann. Ich habe heute einen Burger bekommen, der völlig in Salz gebadet war. Der von meiner Freundin war auch so. Nur Salz, als ob man den Salzstreuer drüber gekippt hat. Das konnte man nicht essen und wir haben alles wegwerfen müssen. Der Schillerkiez hat keinen Burger laden mehr für mich. - Nie wieder bei euch. Never ever.

Was the old Schiller burger and now goes by this name. Still one of the best burger places in town imo (one of them has truffle butter if that’s your thing). Also the fries are ridiculous.

Ich habe den falschen Burger versehentlich bestellt. Aber die Kellner*innen haben kostenlos einen neuen für mich gemacht - es war so nett und großzügig!

A cozy place with excellent service by people who care. Giant portion sizes for more than fair prices. Their fries are top notch, the burgers are interesting spins on classics with, e.g. Spreewaldgurken instead of normal pickles. Everything is fresh and Beyond patties are offered at no additional price. Amazing. Personally I could have gone with the bun toasted a little longer but when, not if I visit again I can just ask for that. I can wholeheartedly recommend!

Schmeckte okay. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war meiner Meinung nach aber nicht besonders gut.

Kleiner feiner Burgerladen der durch schmackhafte Bürger punktet. Hier steht das Essen im Fokus und nicht viel drumherum. Curlie Fries und der Burger waren super lecker. Das EC Karten Gerät hat nicht mit meiner Karte funktioniert, so dass ich meine Kreditkarte nutzen musste. Es ging aber schlussendlich.

Waited 25 minutes for a tiny and squished portobello mushroom burger. I assumed it would have a meat patty in it considering its price, but it didn’t. The garlic fries did not taste anything like garlic and were incredibly over salted. In summary: overpriced for mediocre, barely even filling food. Extremely disappointed.

Mediocre Burger, okay but for my taste just a little bit to boring. I had the Fire Meyer. The chili wasn’t that spicy. Some may like it this way. But i‘d rather had jalapeños on the burger. Durchschnittlicher Burger, Geschmacklich etwas fad. Mehr Pepp, zum Beispiel durch Jalapeños, wäre gut.

The burger was nothing special and for 8,9 better go somewhere else. Bad bun, the sauce is too sweet and everything falls apart. Would never come back and I live next door.

Ich habe nun zum wiederholten mal erlebt (vor allem bei business leuten oder priviligiert aussehenden Menschen) wie Burger die zum mitnehmen bestellt sind, lustlos in der alufolie zerquetscht zusammen gepackt wird, sodass man beim auspacken keine burgerform mehr zu erkennen ist oder gar noch genießbar aussieht. Statt den burger luftig und vorssichtig zu behandeln wird er wie etwa beim kneten eines Teiges einfach in den händen hin und her geworfen und zusammen gedrückt. Das war nun das 4. mal das mein burger zum mitnhemen beim auspacken ungenießbar war.

Ich war vor knapp 4 Wochen hier und war einer der Besten Läden überhaupt in Berlin. Heute erneut mit Besuch hier gegessen und es war schlecht, da kann ich besser bei McDonalds essen. Fleisch trocken, ungewürzt, Pommes alt und bereits mehrmals fritiert. Bei dem Preis eine Unverschämtheit. Kein Grund herzukommen!

Pommes zwar mehrfach frittiert aber eigentlich nur fettig, ,absolut ohne Geschmack und nicht kartoffelig. Knusprig ja, aber das wars auch schon. Der Burger mit dem Steak - ungeniessbar, der vermutlich schlechteste Burger meines Lebens. Fleisch eklig im Geschmack und zäh, damit auch praktisch nicht essbar. Nie wieder!!!

Mediocre, rather uninspired burgers at best. Very standard configurations and certainly nothing special. There are much better options in the area, towards Pannierstrasse, for example.

Hier konzentriert man sich aufs Wesentliche. 3 verschiedene Burger zur Auswahl und das reicht. Kein Chichi, leckerer Cheeseburger mit gutem Patty, Blattspinat und luftig-glänzendes Brioche-Bun. Gerne wieder. Preis ein wenig höher als die Konkurrenz, Cheeseburger 7,90€, Kartenzahlung möglich.

Schon oft dort bestellt. Essen kommt immer heiß und das Restaurant liest immer die Anmerkungen. Bestellen meist den beyond meat Burger, der super ist aber heute mal mit Fleisch bestellt - das war der Hammer! Bester Burger in Berlin! Saftiges Fleisch und frische, fluffige Burgerbrötchen. Super!

It was sadly really disappointing. The patty wasn't flavoured at all and not "smashed" but really thick. You could only really taste the bun. The curly fries were really good and the employees really friendly. Still wouldn't come again.

Lecker Burger und Pommes. nur Bio-Fleisch 👍 Mein Sohn lässt ausrichten: Der Beyond-Meat-Burger schmeckt fast wie ein normaler Burger, aber eher noch besser. Und die Curly-Fries sind der Hammer.

Also echt viel besser als der Laden davor. Macht weiter so! Gibt es den Pilzburger auch mit panierten Pilzen?

Ich kann die negativen Rezessinonen hier nicht verstehen. Der Burger ist überdurchschnittlich gut und man bekommt was für sein Geld. Die Pommes sind auf den Punkt und das Ambiente sehr nett. Man wird gut beraten und die Küche hat Freude an dem was sie macht. Ich werde mich hier auf jeden Fall durch das Menü futtern.

I've had many fantastic burgers in Berlin, but sadly I was very disappointed with these burgers. We ordered the cheese burgers and curly fries. The burger buns tasted stale and dry, the patty lacked flavour and the very basic toppings too. Ketchup and mayo were served in individual plastic sashes, which were also less than appealing. The curly fries were ok and the portion acceptable. On the plus side, the staff were friendly, but I wouldn't recomend this burger joint if you are looking for a tasty all round great burger sadly. They could do much better and I hope for them that they do!

Bisher dachte ich, dass Lokalitäten mit Sitzplätzen zwingend eine Toilette haben müssen. Ich staune, dass hier keine vorhanden ist, aber vielleicht gibt es ja auch Ausnahmeregelungen. Die angebotenen Speisen sind ok. Hier sollte der Gast die englische Sprache beherrschen. Das Personal ist freundlich.

Ordered by Wolt and the combo was good. Juicy burger was awesome, the fries were good but kinda irregular on size, color and taste (crunch or too crunch). Consider the price above average for the size of the burger. Extra points for the speed delivery 👍🏼

The best burger in Neukölln! A little indie burger joint at the heart of Schillerkiez serving some delicious burgers made absolutely fresh to order. It's perfect to order it as a take away and make your way to nearby Tempelhof to enjoy in the sun. Recommendation: Cheese burger with jalapeno and bacon with curly fries

Burger sind ok aber bisschen teuer für die Qualität, Pommes waren leider noch zu hart. Nettes Personal aber Tische waren nicht gewischt und Musik viel zu laut und aufdringlich. Eher für take away als zum Reinsetzen.

Das Brot war lapprig und unlecker. Der Burger mit einer dünnen Scheibe Tomate mit fettem Strunk, einem kleinen, verwelkten Salatblatt, 2 kleinen Gurkenscheiben, sehr viel Senf und Mayo, sowie einem rote Bete Brätling belegt. Der Brätling war dünn, aber soweit okay. Der Preis 7.80€ eine Frechheit. Die Pommes habe ich gleich entsorgt, sehr fettig und unlecker.

Very good. The place is intimate. The only problem is that the coworkers have to scream when people seat outside to let them take their orders. Not failt of the coworkers anyways. I guess in summer is way better as the door stays open, i was there during a very very cold day
