Simply excellent love dinner for Valentine's Day.

A big compliment to the host! I stopped by and unfortunately it was a rest day. I sat down on the terrace to take a breather and it looked so homely. The innkeeper happened to come by and asked if I would like a coffee. I said yes, but said “they have a rest day”. “No problem,” he said, went and brought me a great cappuccino and gave me that too. That's what I call love for work and really nice guest service. I would like to remember the restaurant for another time because the menu looked really tasty. 🙏🏻

I visited the Nikolaushof for Valentine's Day dinner, where many of my friends raved about the location. So I booked this evening for myself and my wife. First we were welcomed for a drink in the courtyard. Here you could enjoy the view over Würzburg or warm up by the fire. After a short time, the staff assigned us a table and told us when the food would be served. The location inside and out is very beautiful. The service was courteous. For the 4 course dinner: At the beginning there were a few small starters, including dips with white bread. The second course was pumpkin soup, the main course was risotto with kohlrabi and vegetable chips and, for dessert, some ice cream with a small muffin with eggnog cream. It was a bit of a shame that the vegetarian option included a little bit of kohlrabi instead of the chicken poularde, which in my opinion was completely out of proportion to the price, because it was the same as the meat option. If you choose the meat option, the price would still be high, but more justified. All in all, I wouldn't book another event here and maybe just come by for a drink to enjoy the view.

I give full marks, especially for the presentation, ambience and unique view. The character up there is completely different to that of staying in the city.

We were in the restaurant for a 6-course dinner on New Year's Eve 24/25, the table decorations, the service and the drinks were definitely first class. The view over Würzburg and the many fireworks is also unique. What was unacceptable was the fact that the tables including drinks were completely cleared while the guests were admiring the fireworks on the terrace. The New Year's Eve description previously stated that it would end at 1 a.m., but announcing that guests were being kicked out with empty tables, so to speak, is not advertising for such a top restaurant.

We booked the Christmas brunch. First we had to walk across the courtyard in 0 degree weather to get our food in another room. We actually only got a cappuccino after the fourth time we asked. The breakfast was very simple. The scrambled eggs offered were simply placed in the bowl, unwarmed, in front of the door, which was always open. Fish, such as smoked salmon, was not refrigerated. Lunch was dry (fish) and cold (beans and potatoes). The two people responsible on site were never open to the criticism of many guests. People were fobbed off with the answer “and what should we do now?” Dear Nikolaushof, you can't always excuse yourself with the great view!

We took part in the gala dinner on New Year's Eve 2024/25. It was the first event of this kind for us and it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The food was very good, the courses varied and the portions more than sufficient. The wines were well chosen and you could order as many as you wanted. The organization was fluid and the timing was perfect. We ate dinner from 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with the breaks between courses never being too long. The food came hot in every course and at the same time for each table. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the guests were also pleasant. Initially the price per person seemed high to us, but now I have to say the evening was worth the price in every respect. We will come back. Thank you for the lovely New Year's Eve celebration.

Hello everyone, I was invited as a guest to the Christmas brunch in the barn on December 26th, 2024 (Boxing Day), so my name is not shown in the reservation book. Unfortunately, I had to realize that the entire Christmas brunch process, no structure and no planning was in place, as well as the distribution of space was an outrage and a catastrophe. I wasn't the only guest here who had this opinion, I suspect almost all the guests who received the table in the hut, barn and pavilion. I would like to explain the events in a little more detail. First of all, we had made a reservation for 5 people. In the “Barn” restaurant, we were allocated space on site at a table that would actually only have been for 4 people. The position of the table was to get up and walk past the other chairs/guests without disturbing them, it was very narrow at around 15 cm. So the second step was a table in the “Pavilion” restaurant. Since we were in a single hut with other guests, the food was not always available and was replenished very late. The table position of the small buffet could also have been chosen better here and not in the area of ​​the open entrance door. You had to get various dishes in the barn, the path then led back and forth across the courtyard back to the table in the pavilion. Everything wasn't designed so ideally. You should receive a partial refund of the price here because of the absolutely catastrophic poor planning and implementation by the management staff. The person I felt very sorry for during this entire service process was the service staff; they primarily noticed all the frustration and annoyance from the guests present. I hereby give 5 stars to the operating staff. It was a very tense atmosphere and you can also confirm the situation. I remain in a positive message from you regarding a partial refund. Yesterday we had our Christmas menu in the Nikolaushof and to sum up it has dropped off massively. Marketing and location isn’t everything. We were very happy about the invitation and reservation confirmation. When you arrive on site, the entrance area appears completely untidy. The wine bottles and boxes are supposed to look modern but they're just not tidy. The organization was nothing. First food comes and then they ask for drinks. For this price it was nothing, neither the food nor the service justified this price. That has decreased massively. Only mass processing. The atmosphere from previous years is gone. We enjoyed staying at the Nikolaushof for many years, but unfortunately that's over because for the money, unfortunately, no. Not recommended, at least if it stays that way.

We were at the barn for Christmas brunch in 2024. If it continues to be offered like this, we cannot recommend it. The seating was far too narrow and many people couldn't even sit properly at the tables. The room would have really benefited from 10-20 fewer people. In some cases, registered groups could not sit together because there were simply not enough seats at the tables. The food was okay, but the buffet was far too crowded for the many people. At this price (excluding drinks), a recommendation in this form is simply not advisable.

Unfortunately I have to give one star and can't deduct a star. We had the booked brunch on Christmas Day. The organization was completely underground. We had to go across the yard ourselves to get our food. The selection was very clear and not worth the money. We asked the service manager and managing director about it, but they were very indifferent. Two thirds of the guests also complained and wanted to speak to the management, but the management did not show up to the guests/customers (I am not sure that we are seen as such).

We were here for Christmas brunch on December 25th, 2024. The reception was very friendly. Unfortunately the buffet started 30 minutes late. The small room was far too fully booked. It doesn't create a festive mood. Some of the food was not of the quality of this restaurant class. Some of the rolls were hard and dry, like two days old. Also not enough available. The waitresses were disorganized. Cutlery and plates were always missing. We expected more for this price. Very unfortunate. 😔

As an otherwise big fan of the Nikolaushof, we are extremely disappointed after today's Advent brunch! For €60 per person, not only we but also all the other guests expected to sit down in a cozy, festive atmosphere and relax and help themselves to a delicious and varied buffet. Instead, this is what awaited us: As if we were sitting on a chicken coop, we were sitting in the barn that was completely overbooked; it was impossible to even get to our seat, let alone get to the buffet. Some guests were spontaneously moved out due to lack of space and had to walk across the courtyard to the overcrowded buffet. It is understandable and to be tolerated that there are problems with processes and mistakes happen, especially at Christmas. But what was offered here was an absolute disgrace! Against this background, it almost became irrelevant that the food tasted bland at best. Maybe and hopefully this was an unpleasant exception that shouldn't happen to an institution like the Nikolaushof. ADDENDUM: Parts of our buffet society are currently complaining about feeling unwell.

A mixed evening at Nikolaus Hof Our experience at Nikolaus Hof started promisingly: a breathtaking panorama, accompanied by a magical Christmas landscape and atmospheric atmosphere. But unfortunately our lovely evening suffered a few setbacks, ranging from minor inconveniences to serious disappointment. The meal started solidly with a starter of lamb's lettuce and spicy pickled pumpkin, which there was nothing wrong with. However, we then had to wait a full 50 minutes for the main course, even though it was ordered at the same time as the starter. After this long wait, the dishes finally arrived - but unfortunately they did not live up to expectations. The duck was a bit tough and clearly overcooked, while the salmon was disappointing: not only was it completely unseasoned, but it was also accompanied by a side dish of broccoli, the consistency of which was more reminiscent of carrots. After a reasonable break, dessert followed, but it was also disappointing. The cinnamon cake seemed to come from the freezer and the baked apple was difficult to enjoy as the unremoved peel significantly detracted from the eating experience. In summary, although the evening started solidly, the food did not maintain its “solidarity” status. With better kitchen performance, this experience could have lived up to its promising start.

Great location overlooking the city. The cuisine is good, but at a fairly average level - the establishment is not for connoisseurs. If you understand how to properly cook duck breast or fondue, then this is not the place for you. You will be served food that is quite edible, but it will not taste good... The staff is kind, the waiters are quite nice, but they also don’t live up to the stated level...

We were here with a group. All in all good. We only noticed one point that was a bit negative. When the food was served, the waitress instructed us to please distribute it ourselves. I find it difficult when it comes to pricing. But everything else was fine.

One of the absolute best restaurants in Würzburg. Very good service, very carefully maintained restaurant with very good cuisine. But the real crowning glory is the unique location with a view of the whole of Wü, where the restaurant is without competition. Highly recommended. We ourselves have been regular customers for 15 years.

No question, the main reason for visiting the restaurant is certainly the great view over Würzburg within walking distance of the Käppele. I can't complain much about the quality of the food, it's always been fine for me. However, the size of the portions for the main courses is also rather manageable, but the price quoted is all the more hefty. The biggest drawback for me, however, is the service. There are a lot of untrained and sometimes completely clumsy people here. There is always loud chatter coming from the kitchen, which doesn't seem very professional. Guests are often responded to late or not at all upon arrival - there is clear potential for improvement here.

Top food, with super friendly staff at the self-service counter. The view over the city is unique and definitely worth a visit. The price is a bit high but it's worth it.

Delicious food with a great view over Würzburg with great staff that makes you feel welcome in this location. Can recommend the Tafelspitz and the Cheese Fondue they are two of my favourite choices there.

We didn't enjoy anything here except the view. Even after 40 minutes and several waves, we weren't served, so we finally left. We've never experienced anything like this before.

What just happened? We were here again after two years and apart from the view, unfortunately nothing is the same anymore. Food absolutely overpriced and very poor quality. Chanterelles with tagliatelle. Almost no taste and almost cold. We were there on a sunny Sunday evening, the town below was full of people but only 6 guests the whole evening. Toilets not clean. Totally messy in the restaurant. So unfortunately absolutely no recommendation.

We had the pleasure of visiting Nikolaushof as part of an “Eat the World” tour and loved it. The location of the restaurant offers a great view of Würzburg, which makes your stay a special experience. The soup we were served was of excellent quality and had a balanced taste. The combination of culinary enjoyment and a unique view makes the Nikolaushof a recommended destination that is definitely worth a visit.

We celebrated our wedding at Nikolaushof last week and it was really beautiful. The staff was really friendly and attentive and always helped. Maybe they could have checked on us a little more often but that's just a small thing. The view is of course incredibly beautiful and the wedding venue is also very suitable, the perfect place for a wedding. Not exactly cheap in price but still somewhere within the range. Food was good, especially the ginger carrot soup and the dips (hummus and guacamola) with bread. The vegan curry was okay but could have been saucier for me, it wasn't quite my thing. Drinks were very good, especially the lemonades are highly recommended. All in all, an absolute success and we were able to set ourselves up well beforehand. Unfortunately the air conditioning didn't work properly so we went outside again at some point. They also responded well to our requests (vegan menu).

Sorry but absolute tourinap and cheek. The view is great and the location is tempting. The staff is an absolute disaster, with the terrace not even 30% full we were ignored for minutes. I called specifically and wanted to make a reservation, but the waiter on the line told me to just come over. When we arrived, he told us (two people) that (with the outside terrace not even half full) there was only room left inside (8 p.m. in the evening and 32 degrees, mind you) - I then asked him why he didn't tell me that If the phone had said so, then I would have looked for something else and saved the trip (the restaurant is on the mountain) - he then replied that he had something - an understanding that we didn't want to sit inside (unair-conditioned) when it was 32 degrees he doesn't. We then left,

Disappointing experience despite beautiful views The view over Würzburg from Nikolaushof is really nice, but unfortunately I can't say the same about the food. For the price you pay here, the food is simply a disgrace. An example: The tarte flambée costs 14 euros, which is completely excessive considering the quality. The taste was mediocre at best, and the portion was smaller than one would expect for this price. If you come just for the view, you won't be disappointed. But if you're also hoping for good food, you're better off looking elsewhere.

Wir kennen den Nikolaushof schon ewig, er war bei unseren Würzburg-Besuchen immer ein Highlight. Die White Cuban Night vor vielen Jahren war ebenso legendär wie der Spargel mit der besten Sauce Hollandaise, die wir je gegessen haben, was aber auch etliche Jahre her ist. Den gestrigen Abend hätten wir besser woanders verbracht. Die Größe der Portionen soll vielleicht die schlechte Qualität überdecken? Das Wiener Schnitzel war fad im Geschmack, teilweise zatterig, die Bratkartoffeln waren matschig anstatt knusprig und Kümmel in Bratkartoffeln zu so einem an sich feinen Fleisch ist viel zu heftig. Die Serviettenknödel waren sehr "neutral" im Geschmack, etwas Petersilie und Muskat hätten hier geholfen, und die Scheiben wurden nur der Form halber mal kurz in die Pfanne gelegt, aber leider nicht knusprig gebacken. Die Pfifferlinge in Rahmsauce waren sandig und doe Sauce war eine geschmacklose und viel zu fest eingedickte Pampe, auch ohne Würze/Kräuter. Salz und Pfeffer habe ich in einem der Restaurant-Räume selbst gesucht, auf den Tischen gab es nichts. Ein Lokal in Würzburg, welches keinen offenen Winzersekt zum Aperitif anbietet, nur einen müden Frizzante-Secco? Was ist das denn??? Unser Kellner war sehr nett und um Upselling bemüht, wir sind jedoch froh, daß wir nicht noch mehr bestellt haben, das wäre wahrscheinlich auch nicht besser gewesen. Leider haben wir nicht vor der Reservierung die Bewertungen gelesen, das zumindest haben wir aus dem Abend fürs nächste Mal als Positives mitgenommen. Die Situation der Toiletten wird in vielen Bewertungen negativ dargestellt - hier möchte ich anmerken, daß die Anlage selbst gestern sauber war, bis auf Dinge, die die Gäste in den Kabinen schon selbst erledigen sollten... Man muß nur das bereitgestellte Equipment benutzen, wie zu Hause auch. Fazit: Wir erinnern uns gerne an die schönen Zeiten im Nikolaushof, aber einen weiteren Besuch werden wir nicht mehr machen. Schade.

We celebrated our wedding here on the restaurant terrace in August in the best weather. We were able to deliver the cakes the day before. The celebration itself went exactly as previously agreed and dreamed of. The food, summer night barbecue, was fantastic. Many guests independently praised the excellent service. We are so happy to have chosen this great location. We particularly liked the fact that all the details we had discussed in advance were implemented in exactly the same way. For example, the potato salad was served with separate bacon upon request, without the need for a reminder. Once again a huge thank you to the entire team, we felt very comfortable.

We celebrated our wedding in the Nikolaushof. It was a great celebration. We had a lot of fun and all the guests, as well as us, were thrilled. Great location, the food is highly recommended (at this point also praise and a compliment to the actors in the background), the service was top, always friendly, with a smile on their faces, they never let the stress show. We were there for the first time for a birthday party and were very excited. The food was incredibly tasty, the service was very courteous and quick. The location is a dream, this view over Würzburg, especially at night, a dream! The only point I deduct is because of the sanitary facilities, which smelled a bit and were very dark in my opinion (a little more light would be nice) and the other reason for one point less is the way there including the parking lot. Especially at night, without a cell phone flashlight and sturdy shoes, this is a bit adventurous and almost a little scary. All in all, highly recommended and we will definitely go there again!

I was booked as a wedding photographer at the Nikolaushof. The view from there is simply fantastic! A big compliment also goes to the kitchen and the service, very good food and a cheerful, motivated team! I look forward to being your guest/service provider again soon!

Mistakes in reservation made up for! We had reserved a table and shortly before arrival we wanted to call to let them know that we would be there a little later. That's when we were told our reservation was cancelled. Now there was a second attempt. This time everything worked. The service was first class, all three men who served us in the evening were very friendly and accommodating. As an apology for forgetting to make a reservation, we received an aperitif, a beautifully prepared dessert with various delicacies, an espresso and two schnapps on the house. Now to the food: For starters we had a Silvaner soup, which was very good, and a chanterelle soup, which tasted good, but I would have liked chanterelles as an accompaniment. For the main course we chose tarte flambée, both were very tasty. The mixed dessert was very tasty. We will come back in any case.

If you have three courses for two, leave almost 120 euros and then leave the restaurant hungry (portions are WAY too small), then that can't be the purpose. “Fine dining” is all well and good, but you should still expect to be full. The quality of the food was average considering the price. Unfortunately, it wasn't really inviting at Nikolaushof. You can really tell that the entire company is designed to maximize profits.

Great beer garden above Würzburg. The view is just incredibly good. We recommend.

We were there on July 18th. invited to the wedding of my brother-in-law and his wife at the Nikolaushof. It was beautiful up here, the view, the ambience, the delicious food and the great service, which also fulfilled small special requests, simply recommended!!!

I don't know when I've had such a bad meal, the food was subterranean, horror, we'll never enter this restaurant to eat again.

Spectacular view over Würzburg. My family from Canada was in Würzburg on a river cruise ship and we met there. It was the perfect end to a wonderful day. The food was delicious and the view is amazing! We felt very comfortable!

We chose the Nikolaushof for our wedding location. We were completely satisfied. Beforehand, we had a very good and customer-oriented exchange about our ideas and wishes. Jessica responded very well to us and helped us choose the wine with her expertise. The guests also found the view and the ambience at the top of the Nikolaushof a real highlight. The food was beautifully prepared and really tasty. Gladly again and we give you the warmest recommendation!!

We were there for a company party. The ambience with the view is really unique. The food was very good and of high quality.

Been here for the first and last time. Great view, good food - unfriendly service. Especially the young thin man with black hair. We sat at a free table and had to get up and move after 20 minutes because this table was needed for a wedding. That was okay for us, but not for the way we were spoken to. We moved to another table and our original table remained unoccupied the whole time. After 25 minutes another waiter, relatively young, came to us and told us they needed the table too. We would have to get up and move again in 20 minutes. If you don't want guests who just want to eat and drink something, they should write a sign at the entrance - walk-in customers not welcome 😉 Tip: work on your service quality, other TOP restaurants can do it too.

Very nice location for festivities. Service was very good and child-friendly. Beautiful view. High-quality, delicious food and served elegantly, but still filling.

I booked this restaurant months in advance because it is one restaurant with a view in Würzburg I haven’t been to. The Google directions direct you the back of the restaurant which has no access to the restaurant. You have to go around, park and then walk to the restaurant. It took us half an hour to find the right location after asking the locals. Once we arrived, the view from the restaurant is great. For appetizer, I had the bratwurst and a flatbread. The flatbread is great, the bratwurst is quite standard. As an entree, I had the original schnitzel and it is a huge portion. However, the food tasted pretty average. Their wine list is great, definitely worth visiting. I do not recommend this restaurant if you are handicapped or a foreigner. They have almost no access to the restaurant for handicapped people. Furthermore, they also don’t accept any other credit or debit cards that are not German. Fortunately, we had a German person in our group and I have no clue how we would have paid if we didn’t.

World-class carpacco, great wines and a selection of upscale spirits (Rochelt etc.). Prices are high but justified due to the location. Service was always friendly, sometimes a bit inattentive, had to ask several times for butter with the bread. But all in all a successful evening. Thanks

The best boiled beef I have eaten in my life! It's been a long time since I've eaten so well and with the view. Absolutely worth a visit!

Beautiful view, unfortunately little choice of food and the few dishes are disproportionately expensive. Even the, undoubtedly good wines, far too expensive and only 0.2l. We are in Franconia, the bottle should be 0.25l and affordable. It's a shame, we definitely won't do it again

Super delicious food and the view, simply fantastic

This place clearly thrives on its location. Sensational view over Würzburg. Aimed at day tourism and of course also for a classic wedding celebration or company event. The sunset is particularly recommended here. When the golden veil of the last rays of sun falls over the city and the first lights, like little fireflies, flicker up sporadically in the houses deep below you, you feel the coming of bedtime for the night ahead.

The view from Nikolaushof is very beautiful and definitely worth a trip! The garden is also beautifully furnished and divided. The dishes (bratwurst with fries, Silvaner soup and tarte flambée) were not particularly recommended. Unfortunately, the food was nothing special and was almost cold when we picked it up.

The food has lost a lot of quality and the service needs to be trained! A waiter pours a large glass of juice over one of our guests and then the excuse is a stack of napkins! The next person openly explains that he has no idea how to lay the cutlery! Only the great location does not justify the high prices

The Nikolaushof is located above the Würzburger Käppele and you have a very nice view of Würzburg and the surrounding area. The restaurant has good cuisine, a very good selection of wine and other cocktails. There's something for everyone. We were able to celebrate our wedding anniversary here and were very satisfied. The staff was very friendly. We'd love to come back.

There will be no repeat of the candlelight dinner with a “festively set table” nor will there be another visit! Both the attentiveness of the service staff and the ambience (a festively set table = a tea light and all the other tables were also set without the candlelight dinner...) were beyond compare! Endless waiting times from aisle to aisle) For this price, the offer is a disgrace. The food was ok, but didn't make up for all the other negative points.

Were disappointed with the Easter brunch. The breakfast was very simple. Scrambled eggs from the package. The hot dishes were ok.

The five of us went to brunch on Easter Sunday to celebrate a birthday. Very friendly welcome with a glass of sparkling wine. At least for those who like sparkling wine. A very rich buffet, both for breakfast and lunch. Nobody is left out here. Drinks, juice, water, coffee and tea were available as much as we wanted. Lovingly laid table. Attentive service staff who always worked with a smile. Very nice. The price for the Easter brunch is justified. Thank you for the relaxing Easter Sunday.

Limited menu selection - great view - highly recommended tarte flambée

We were there for Easter brunch. The staff was very friendly, there was nothing BUT the food was below average. Little choice at breakfast, no cloth to touch when cutting the white bread. The first people touched it with their hands. At the waffle iron, people were stuck in the oven with their own forks because the waffle wouldn't come out. Someone should have been there. The scrambled eggs (the only type of egg) were such a tetra egg pack mess. The soup was very thin and the salt was missing. The vegetables were cooked too soft (mushy) and everything was too crowded. The sauerbraten was good but the rest was okay. The salmon was also fried to death. The cutlery was never replaced from start to finish. We don't go there for brunch anymore because we found it too expensive. Price/performance is not right. The best thing was actually the champagne beforehand and the staff at the reception.

You make a reservation half a week in advance and are then informed on site that there is a closed party that evening

The restaurant is absolutely not recommended. The price-performance ratio is not right. If you want to be a high-quality restaurant, you should also employ chefs who can prepare at least one duck. Of the few dishes offered in the evening, the chef apparently doesn't manage to prepare the dishes professionally. Of the 5 dishes we ordered (3 x duck, tarte flambée and children's schnitzel with fries), the tarte flambée and fries arrived after 10 minutes, the remaining 3 guests had to wait 40 minutes for their duck without the service person informing us about it. In the catering industry, everyone should be aware that a main course should be served to all guests at the same time. After a long wait, the big disappointment came. The food was absolutely unprofessionally prepared and presented. The duck breast was tough, hard, and for me it was inexplicable how someone in an upscale restaurant with little choice on the menu couldn't manage to prepare the meat properly. When we complained, we were told that we should have said it straight away, but after waiting for 40 minutes, we no longer have the patience to wait any longer. The waitress should have known that the preparation would take a lot of time and, like in other "high quality" restaurants, could have at least brought some bread with butter or at least warned the guests in advance. The toilets weren't clean and didn't smell clean. Since I work in the catering industry myself, it's all inexplicable to me and I wouldn't visit the restaurant again.

The staff tried very hard, but that couldn't make up for the poor food selection. There were only a few dishes to choose from, which many guests complained about. The quality of the food was in no comparison to the high prices. The nice atmosphere is well known, but if you look closely everything is pretty neglected. The entrance area of ​​the restaurant is blocked up, the floors are very dirty - sorry, I don't come here anymore!

We celebrated New Year's Eve here. The staff here is particularly attentive and very friendly. You feel comfortable and welcome. The ambience above the rooftops of Würzburg is beautiful. The menu and the selection of drinks were very well chosen for the occasion, and the individual courses were presented in an appetizing manner. Despite the full house, everything went perfectly. We often come here during the year after a hike for a little snack and to enjoy the view.

We played a company Christmas party in the Nikolaushof. The ambience was rustic, cozy and festive thanks to the tiled stove and Christmas tree. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back! Your three-man band

Wir hatten uns auf den Glühwein im Garten gefreut. Wir haben vorher die WEBSeite gelesen. Alles offen also sind wir aus Würzburg rauf auf den Nikolaushof. Als wir ankamen war die Tür verschlossen, die MainPost vom Freitag steckte noch im Briefkasten. Der gesamte Januar ist " wegen Reichtum" geschlossen! Schade !So kann man Gäste verkraulen! Beste Grüße ehemalige Stammgäste.

We spent our Christmas party there - very nice location

See a beautiful location with a pleasant atmosphere and a view over the city, absolutely great. The staff was very friendly, helpful and not intrusive. The food was good, unfortunately not the highlight I was expecting, I had the Christmas menu and accordingly my expectations were not fulfilled except for the dessert. Starter with a salad, well a salad without any major taste direction, technically ok. Main course duck breast with dumplings and red cabbage, the meat tasted good, unfortunately some of it, the thinner parts were rather rubbery and the thicker parts were still rather raw. However, I was thrilled by the baked apple, so a big thank you again for that. Overall, a nice place with potential.

Great food, everything harmonious, service super friendly, and all in a nice atmosphere, we were very impressed!

Sehr schönes Restaurant über den Dächern von Würzburg.

Kein rollstuhlgerechter Toilettenzugang, obwohl dies einfach durch eine Rampe und einige Haltegriffe gewährleistet werden könnte. Das Servicepersonal war wenig zuvorkommend und tauschte nasse Stühle, Tischdecken und Geschirr nicht aus, nachdem Getränke umgeschüttet wurden, weil der Tisch lidschäftig war. Der Veranstaltungsraum war sehr laut, das Buffet nur spärlich beleuchtet und kaum beschriftet.

Da wir schon zwei Weihnachtsfeiern im gemütlichen Pavillon des Nikolaushofs erlebt haben und jedesmal sehr zufrieden waren, habe ich den Pavillon für eine private Feier mit Familie und Freunden erneut reserviert. Das war in jeder Hinsicht ein Erfolg: Sehr zuvorkommender und angenehmer Service, leckeres Essen, eine hervorragende Weinkarte und die bekannte, wirklich spektakuläre Sicht auf Würzburg, die wir während des Aperitifs von der Terasse aus genießen konnten (aus dem Pavillon selbst ist die Sicht weniger großartig, weshalb es sich lohnt, draußen mit einem Apero zu beginnen. Das geht wegen der Schirme etc. auch bei schlechtem Wetter). Für die Kinder ist das Gelände ein Traum, wenngleich es einen Sturz in den Teich gab). Minimale Kritik: Die "Tomatenmarmelade" zur Burrata schmeckte ein wenig nach Ketchup (und wurde von vielen Gästen, ich eingeschlossen) nicht gegessen. Ein Nachteil des schönen Pavillons (kostet Miete) ist es, dass es dort mangels Heizung und schlechter Isolierung schnell frisch werden kann, zumal die Tür häufig offensteht. Ich habe den Raum mit einem gemütlichen Kachelofen in Erinnerung, der bei uns allerdings fehlte. Auch könnte der Raum heimeliger eingerichtet sein. Die kalten LED-Lichter und die minimale Deko im Raum selbst (schöner ist der Vorraum) verbreiten nicht unbedingt eine warme Atmosphäre.

Einfach fantastisch dieser Ausblick über Würzburg. Das Essen war hervorragend. Wer noch nicht dort war, ein kurzer 2min Spaziergang zum Käpelle nebenan lohnt sich. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Schöne Location mit Superblick (Traumblick) auf Würzburg. Man bekommt hier eigentlich immer einen Platz, denn seltsamerweise habe ich es hier, obwohl es ein schöner Platz für einen Schoppen ist, nie wirklich voll erlebt. Liegt es an den den Preisen im SB Biergarten? Es gibt auch einen Sandkasten für die Kleinen.

Ein sehr schöner, lustiger und unerwartet skurriler Abend mit Familie, aber nicht wegen, sondern trotz der gastronomischen Leistung. Ein wunderschönes Restaurant in traumhafter Lage. Eine vielversprechende Speisekarte und eine grandiose Weinkarte. Nach der ersten Weinbestellung wurde es dann skurril. Eine Flasche Silvaner Erstes Gewächs von Wirsching bestellt. Was kam waren 4 Gläser vom offenen Silvaner aus der Literflasche. Uns wurde dann gesagt, wir könnten die Gläser trinken, man würde die Flasche nachliefern. Gebracht wurde uns die Literflasche Silvaner. Nach erneuter Reklamation, dann endlich der Bocksbeutel von Wirsching. Temperaturgarant auf den Tisch, Bocksbeutel rein, fertig. Ich habe dann den Sommelier gegeben. Hätte mich sehr interessiert, wie der Service den Sassicaia aus der Weinkarte präsentiert hätte, wenn ich ihn bestellt hätte. Essen war okay - Sauce zur Ente gab es erst auf Nachfrage. Nach dem Essen, um 20.30h, Espresso bestellt und nach Dessert gefragt. Antwort: man würde um 22 Uhr schließen, die Kaffeemaschine sei schon sauber und die Küche geschlossen. Kurze Zeit später wurde mir dann doch noch ein Espresso gebracht und Creme Brulee angeboten. Die Rechnung wurde mir dann in einem Mäppchen von American Express gebracht - aber Amex wurde nicht akzeptiert. Alles in allem waren die Servicemitarbeiter:innen zwar super nett, aber leider auch so amateurhaft, dass es schon fast wieder lustig war. Verehrte Geschäftsleitung: Ich erwarte bei einer Rechnung von 250€ für 5 Personen zumindest ansatzweise ausgebildetes Personal im Service. Es liegt an Ihnen, ihr Leute angemessen zu schulen!

Ein ganz besonderer Ort hoch über Würzburg mit einem tollen Ausblick und besonderem Ambiente. Das Essen und Trinken war sehr lecker und der Service absolut top! Wir waren als Gruppe dort und hatten ein tolles Grillbuffet.

Hier besticht nicht nur der traumhafte Ausblick hoch über Würzburg, sondern auch das hervorragende Essen und der erstklassige Service! Besonders gut geeignet für Feiern und Feste!

Schönes Lokal, zum draußen sitzen perfekt und der Ausblick ist natürlich toll. Das Essen ist aber etwas überteuert m.M.n. und der Service war zwar sehr freundlich, aber ein bisschen verplant.
