Sensational breakfast. Great location, you can see the main points of the city on foot. If you arrive by car and there is no space in front of the hotel, you can park in a public parking lot next door and pay with a good discount using the QR code at the hotel reception. Extremely kind staff, I forgot my cell phone charger and they sent it to me in another city, I thought that was great!

Well-run, modern and comfortable hotel with an attached restaurant that is worth a visit. - Staff friendly, professional, friendly, attentive and competent when dealing with guests. - Rooms clean, technical equipment perfect and intact - Breakfast buffet rich and varied - The city center and its sights can be reached on foot in just a few minutes - Own parking lot (few spaces), otherwise there is a parking garage right next door with a discount for hotel guests. - Value for money is acceptable. Recommended.

We were there just to eat for a celebration. Restaurant is recommended, food is impressive and tasty at usual prices. Despite the large group, the service team didn't get into trouble

Great hotel for an overnight stay

On a motobin Europe trip, I stayed in this nice hotel. A girl from the staff welcomed me and she was very professional, helpful, nice and cheerful. They gave me some great advice about my stay in Wurzburg. The staff made a difference on my visit to this wonderful little town. I highly recommend it.

A great, very clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Particularly noteworthy is the hotel's central location.

A bit difficult to reach due to road construction work. But the service was very competent and instructed us. The location of the hotel is very central and all sights are within walking distance.

Very well maintained house, very nice staff and very helpful.

Short distance to the train station. The area is relatively noisy on weekends, so sleeping with the windows open is not possible, but air conditioning helps. Very clean, fridge in the room. There is a notice in the bathroom - towels on the floor will not be exchanged otherwise. Unfortunately they were changed anyway, which was a shame and unnecessary. There is a very large selection at breakfast and there is sure to be something for everyone. Unfortunately, there is a lot of disposable packaging, which in my opinion is no longer up to date. Goodwill in the event of an emergency and departure one day earlier can be expanded. Centrally located and within walking distance of the city center and Main.

Great location within walking distance to many things. Own restaurant and several restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Parking garage next to the hotel. It didn't work out with the parking fee. Instead of 13 euros, the cash register in the parking garage charged me 23 euros despite the ticket punching by the hotel staff.

Normal city hotel that is already getting old. Rooms clean and functional, but absolutely not a 'feel-good oasis'. The breakfast is good - there should be something for everyone. The location is absolutely great - that is actually the capital of the hotel. Parking space at the house or in the parking garage for a fee. Completely okay for one or two nights. The slightly older lady at the reception is a bit harsh and doesn't always find the right tone (at least that was my feeling). I know it differently and better from other hotels. Nevertheless: I recommend it.

Hotel is close to the city center and not far to the train station! Suitable for a visit to the city!

NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! The management is very rude!!!!!!Prices for breakfast are completely exorbitant!!!!!!!!The service at the reception is very unfriendly, snippy and cheeky. Only a few ladies are nice. The room was very bad, only when we moved the room was moderately good. The facility is already 35 years old. The hotel is the epitome of incompetence and impudence.

Unfortunately, in an emergency situation, I experienced an inappropriate situation from the employees. While I was bleeding in the room, I tried to reach someone at the front desk. The first time I wasn't able to reach anyone there. The second time I reached someone and explained my distress and that I had already called in vain. Instead of reacting immediately, I was drawn into a justifying conversation that I had to break off because otherwise I would have covered everything in blood. A restaurant worker brought me some ice cream and a housekeeping lady helped me. The next day there was no response. When I thanked the receptionist, I received a snippy response, whereupon I had to point out to the lady that it would be appropriate to help and put my own sensitivities aside. The reaction was unreasonable and the lady was also surprised that I couldn't continue the phone call! But a complaint to management was the highlight: The employees' statements were distorted, they covered each other up and instead of stopping such behavior, which is extremely inappropriate and rather damaging to business, I was asked to refrain from making any further bookings. I can only confirm this in my time of need. If I was already bleeding so badly, why wouldn't I have just called the doctor myself? They are not responsible for it.

I always feel comfortable at the Hotel Strauss. The staff is extremely friendly, the breakfast has a good selection and quality. The location is unbeatable. The rooms are not super modern, but they are always clean and lovingly furnished. I always enjoy coming back.

Very central and wonderful starting point for the old town AND Main flair...

I have NEVER stayed in such a bad hotel. It was just disgusting! It smelled so strongly of mold that all of our laundry and our hair smelled like it... Hair in the bed and in the towels. There was even a hair clip under the blanket. The room was so stuffy that we had to ventilate it for 2 hours. Climate so loud you couldn't touch it. We had to park nearby in a parking garage with a tiny exit. And even though we complained, we didn't get a new room. The lady the next morning gave us a small bottle of wine and a special as compensation. No go hotel

Rooms are getting old but clean. However, the windows no longer close flush, which unfortunately makes them far too loud as they face the street at the front. Sleeping was difficult.

A well-suited house for exploring Würzburg. Very easy to reach whether by car or train. In just a few minutes you can be at the Main or the cathedral. The associated restaurant is also highly recommended.

Visited for a family reunion, special wishes were implemented. Super great and nice staff. We'd love to come back there.

Extremely good service. Booked two different rooms on two consecutive days. Although everything was fully booked, the room plan was adjusted at short notice so that I could stay in the room with a personally written note sent to my room. You rarely see that today. The rooms themselves are functional, but you get everything you need at a good price/performance ratio. The cleanliness was surprisingly good.

We only stayed here for one night, but our impression was very good. Everything was clean, staff friendly... nothing to complain about.

The hotel is very conveniently located close to the train station, which can be reached in about 10 minutes with luggage. The tram passes right in front of the house, but you hardly notice it. This also gives you a much better chance of exploring the city by train instead of always taking the car. Many sights as well as restaurants and shopping areas are within walking distance from the hotel. The three-story building has many rooms, including single rooms. These are really small, but ideal for (only) spending the night in. The bathroom in the single room is large enough for one person. Unfortunately, the shower is a bit small for strong, stocky people. The staff is always courteous, friendly and helpful. Just as it should be for a hotel. Parking spaces in front of the house are in short supply, so it's worth traveling in an environmentally friendly way by train. What may be very important for some people is breakfast. This is filled above average. Unfortunately, the rolls are a little small, more like party rolls, but of course you have a choice of toppings. Unfortunately there were no soft (fresh) eggs during my stay, but hard ones. All in all, the hotel is a good address for short travelers who want to see and discover the city of Würzburg over the weekend.

Check-in wasn't right until 8 p.m., nobody was there and had to call again. Rooms are nothing special, not bad but not amazing either. All in all: OK.

Very friendly welcome, helpful staff. Home-style breakfast. Great location - about a 6-minute walk from the old Main Bridge. 8 currently free parking spaces in front of the hotel, some for a fee in the garage. There are also parking spaces for bicycles there. The single room was nice, clean and quiet, the bathroom in the toilet area was a bit narrow. Snacks and drinks can be purchased in the entrance area. Overall, a nice stay at the Strauss.

Wir kommen jedes Jahr wieder in das Hotel Strauß und finden die gepflegte und saubere Retro-Atmosphäre dort durchaus ansprechend. So ein Hotel mit einem Postkartendrehständer an der Rezeption hat was! Bis nächsten Februar dann!

perfect place to enjoy Wurzburg

The room was quite big, with a nice view of the outside road. Staff were quite friendly and helpful, helped us take hot water when we needed. 房间有点大，能看到外面走的路。客服友善也会帮个忙，当我们需要烧水，他们会帮我们拿。

Direkt in der Innenstadt. Das Zimmer war im Vergleich zu anderen in Würzburg günstig, groß genug und sauber.

Kamer met 2 1 persoons bedden op 3e verdieping lijkt beduidend kleiner dan 16 m2. Schoon en netjes. Personeel vriendelijk. Ontbijt prima. Korting op naastgelegen parkeergarage.

Sehr gutes 3 Sterne Hotel in zentraler Lage und gebührenpflichtigen Parkmöglichkeiten im benachbartem Parkhaus. Altstadt fußläufig erreichbar. Frühstück gut, normales ausreichendes Angebot

Wer in der Nähe der Innenstadt und Fußgängerzone eine Unterkunft sucht, ist mit dem Hotel Strauss bestens beraten.
