NI HAO in Hamburg

Ich war dort das 2. Mal zum Peking Enten Essen eingeladen. Es wurde freundlich und professionell zelebriert. Unsere Gästegruppe war wieder komplett zufrieden mit der Mehrgänge Schlemmerei, für die wir uns die gebührende Zeit ließen. Nach dem kreativen selbst Wickeln von Enten Gemüse Rollen genossen wir ein Süppchen mit spannender, frischer Pilz Einlage. Sambal Oelek, frisch und wie vorgewarnt gut scharf, bekam ich auf Wunsch dazu. Auch Essstäbchen für die übrigen Speisen, insbesondere die Entenscheibchen in verschiedenen Saucen, dazu Reis. Trotz hochsommerlicher Temperaturen konnten wir im Freien auch den knackfrischen Mischsalat mit zarten Enten Tranchen, Radicchio, leckeren Sonnenblumenkernen usw nur begeistert loben. Unser Tisch war mit einem XXL Sonnenschirm bester Sonnenschutz. Immer gerne wieder!

Dort gibt soooooo leckere Ente.

Die bestellte „Peking-Ente“ für stolze 90 Euro war miserabel: Serviert wurde eine labbrige Ente (möglichweise aufgewärmt?), die Haut war untypisch weich und es wurde falsch tranchiert (dicke Scheiben mit viel Fleisch statt Haut). Von den für die krosse Haut einer authentischen „Peking-Ente“ zu erwartenden Zutaten Honig (oder Maltose), Essig, Salz und dem „Fünf-Gewürze-Pulver“ war nichts zu schmecken. Aber auch die gereichten Beilagen waren zu beanstanden: Die Hoisin Sauce / chinesische Pflaumensauce erwies sich als fade Mehlpampe, statt der üblichen Streifen von Frühlingszwiebeln gab es gestiftelte Paprika zum Belag auf die unappetitlich trockenen, dünnen lauwarmen Pfannkuchen. Auf meine Reklamation bei der Bedienung kam nur die ausweichende Antwort, ihr Chef bereite das so seit 20 Jahren zu. Dieser Chef war dann trotz Bitte persönlich nicht zu sprechen, angeblich weil er telefonierte – was kümmerte ihn auch die Meinung seiner Kundschaft?! Alles in allem grottenschlecht, was da für teures Geld geboten wurde! Wir werden nie wieder ins „Ni Hao“ einkehren!

Wir sind spontan mit 6 Personen aufgeschlagen. Platz hatten wir trotzdem. Sehr nette Bedienung und Essen war auch sehr lecker und ausreichend portiert.

Nach mehreren Jahren bin ich mal wieder bei Ni Hao gewesen. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht und werde nicht nochmal dort essen! Wir waren nachmittags da, es war bis auf einen Tisch leer. Wir wurde zwar gesehen, aber nicht wirklich beachtet. Nachdem endlich mal jemand zu uns kam wurden wir an einen Tisch gesetzt. Natürlich am Fenster, damit es von außen voll aussieht. Die Warmhalteplatten wurden auf den Tisch gestellt, aber die Brenner nicht angezündet. Als unser Essen kam, wurden uns Teller mit bereits ausgefüllten Reis hingestellt. Eine von uns hat jedoch ein Bratnudelgericht bestellt. Der Klacks Reis wurde dann einfach auf mein Teller gekippt. Das Essen war nicht heiß und durch die kalten "Warmhalteplatten" wurde es dann schnell kalt. Das Knusprige Hühnchen Chop Suey war nicht gut. Sehr sehr dünnes Fleisch zwischen der Panade, aus Versehen war da ein Pilz und etwas Brokkoli drin. Als Füllmaterial waren sehr viele Sojasprossen drin. Die Süß saure Sosse war dünnflüssig und hatte keinen Geschmack. Die Bedienung ist zwischendurch zum Rauchen vor die Tür gegangen. Der Aschenbecher steht direkt vor der Tür und der Qualm zieht schön rein. Man hatte das Gefühl, als Gast nicht willkommen zu sein. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

Sehr leckeres und knuspriges Schweinebauchfleisch. Ich war begeistert.

Zu viert gegessen, Suppe sehr gut Ente gut und Bratnudeln könnten etwas mehr gebraten sein. Service freundlich burschikos. Sehr sauberes Ambiente.

War schon öfter da aber gestern hat es den Vogel abgeschossen! Wollten uns kein Tisch am Fenster geben alle angeblich reserviert wir haben 2 stunden gegessen keiner der reservierten tische ist gekommen das Personal bis auf den jungen Mann Mega unfreundlich schade um das leckere essen ! Und dann auch noch ein Getränk Zuviel abgerechnet werde mir das heute wiederholen!

Ente War sehr fettig. Gemüse war völlig wässrig. Suppe hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt und hatte einen komischen Eigengeschmack. Völlig überteuert. Normalerweise gebe ich bei sowas keine Bewertung ab. Aber da ich nun im Bett liege und höllische Bauchschmerzen und Übelkeit habe, fand ich es wichtig, diese Erfahrung zu teilen. Danke dafür.

Ein tolles asiatisches Restaurant, sehr freundlicher Service, hervorragende Speisen. Wir hatten das Genießermenü mit 6 Gängen, das war sehr reichlich. Eher Fusion-Küche als traditionell Chinesisch.

Wir hatten uns im Vorwege schon für das Rindchen Peking-Enten-Menü entschieden - gute Entscheidung und große Klasse! Das 4-Gänge Menü kostet 59,95 Euro inklusive Weinbegleitung und ist jeden Cent wert. Die Ente ist perfekt gebraten, das Fleisch ganz zart und typisch im Geschmack. Im Hauptgericht wird die Ente leicht scharf mit Chili, roten Zwiebeln und Kräutersaitlingen serviert - sehr, sehr lecker. Und das alles bei einem sehr angenehmen und persönlichen Service. Wir haben den Abend im NI HAO sehr genossen. Fazit: eine klare Empfehlung!

Leider gab es nicht überall Tischdecken.

Der Laden kann was! Super leckeres Essen und super schneller Service! Das Restaurant ist sehr groß, das muss man mögen. Trotz dessen sind die Kellner schnell da und gehen auf Wünsche ein. Kann den Laden empfehlen.

Heute zum Neujahrsbuffet hier gewesen. Es war mega voll! Das Essen komplett anders, als wir von vor ein paar Jahren kannten. An der Ente grosse Knochen, die man nicht sah! Das Spanferkel nicht kross! Ansonsten eine gute Auswahl mit wahrscheinlich traditionellen Gerichten. Bis man mit seinem gefüllten Teller zurück am Tisch war, war das Essen leider kalt! Es war vor einigen Jahren wirklich sehr schön und liebevoll gemacht und man hat gerne den Preis von knapp 60€ pro Person nur für das Essen bezahlt. Wir waren heute sehr enttäuscht von der für uns Massenabfertigung und dafür so viel Geld zu bezahlen!!! Der Service war sehr gut, freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend !!! Wir werden leider nicht mehr hierher kommen.

Uns hat die Ente nicht zugesagt, zu fettig schwam in Öl, und die Ente mit Ananas war auch nicht lecker. Voll im Wasser war das Fleisch mit Ananas, Paprika sehr sauer und darunter Sojasprossen. Nie wieder viel zu teuer

Das Preis/Leistung Verhältnis ist nicht gegeben . Habe für weniger Geld schon besseres Entengericht bekommen .Das Entenfleisch war sehr fettig gewesen, sowie das Gemüse sehr ölig.

Recht unscheinbar von außen aber sobald man Hineintritt, findet man ein sehr schönes Ambiente vor. Die Speisen waren allesamt sehr köstlich und mehr als ausreichend von der Portion. Hinzukommt ein außerordentlich freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Ni Hao ist absolut eine Empfehlung und vor allem einen Besuch wert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Am 31. Januar gegen ca. 13:30 Uhr war ich mit drei Kindern (10, 8 Jahre und ein Baby im Kinderwagen) in diesem Restaurant. Wir wurden an einen Tisch gesetzt, gefragt wie viele Personen wir sind, haben Platz genommen und bereits die Jacken ausgezogen. Uns wurde das Menü gebracht. Da wir auf die Öffnung der Bowlingbahn nebenan gewartet haben (Kindergeburtstag) und es draußen sehr kalt war, wollte ich nur einen Kaffee für mich und Tee für die Kinder bestellen. Daraufhin sagte eine Kellnerin mit kurzen Haaren in einem sehr unfreundlichen Ton, dass wir den Tisch wechseln müssen, weil wir sonst „den Tisch schmutzig machen würden“, wenn wir nur Getränke bestellen. Sie zeigte kommentarlos auf einen anderen Tisch ohne Tischdecke. Das Menü wurde mir direkt wieder weggenommen, ohne eine Erklärung oder ein Gespräch. Die Situation war sehr unangenehm: Wir saßen bereits, hatten viele Sachen dabei und drei Kinder, und sollten plötzlich alles zusammenpacken und umziehen. Ich empfand dieses Verhalten als unhöflich und nicht gastfreundlich, besonders gegenüber einer Familie mit Kindern. Ein freundlicher Ton und eine respektvolle Kommunikation wären hier sehr wichtig gewesen.

Super gemütlich und einfach lecker! Ich war im NI HAO und habe die gebratenen Nudeln probiert – und sie waren einfach ein Traum! Richtig aromatisch, frisch zubereitet und genau so, wie man sich authentische chinesische Küche vorstellt. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich, man fühlt sich sofort wohl, egal ob zum entspannten Mittagessen oder einem Abendessen mit Freunden. Der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, alles wirkt rundum angenehm. Für mich definitiv ein Ort, zu dem ich gerne wiederkomme. Wer leckere chinesische Küche in gemütlicher Atmosphäre liebt, sollte NI HAO unbedingt ausprobieren!

Es gab eine Wärmeplatte die zum Platz gebracht wurde. Das Essen war sehr appetitlich. Super perfekt gut gekocht super wirklich super.

For some reason it had been a very long time not being here anymore. Probably last since New Year dinner of Chinese German Gesellschaft. Nothing has changed, good food, pleasant atmosphere, accurate service. Quality price seems right here. Hope to be back soon again.

Final was happy that we made it to this restaurant for my wife's birthday. The artmoresphere was great , the stuff very friendly Unfotunatly the shrimps dumplings we ordered as starter where not well cooked after finishing eating the food my wife became sick immediately, throwing up and intensive stomach pain, food poison signs , I'm hoping she gets well 🙏🏾

The best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. Simply delicious food... I only discovered it now, but better late than never! 🤗🤗🤗

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and stylish decor. We were a group of six, and while the service was a bit chaotic, they were relatively attentive. I had the lamb, which was really delicious and very well seasoned; however, the amount of meat was far too little for €32. Therefore, only 3 stars.

The food was unfortunately only mediocre for the high price. If I pay €20 for a main course, I expect something for that price. We were there in a fairly large group, and instead of everyone getting their plate filled with food, there were two large bowls of rice carelessly placed in the middle of the table – already quite cold. On the positive side, the food arrived almost simultaneously for all of us and, apart from the rice, was hot. The sauce for my four small dumplings, for which I paid a whopping €8, was a ready-made sauce that you can find in any supermarket. It was also a shame that they didn't mention beforehand that not everyone would be able to fit at one table, so we had to split up as a group between two tables. In addition, the waitress was very pushy about ordering more drinks or dessert. You could really tell how much she cared about making money.

It was very tasty, especially the Peking duck. You could pre-order it, so the wait wasn't long.

The Hamburg-China Association invited to the Chinese Moin Festival and all dishes were delicious.

Just thinking about this bistro makes me sick! I went there with two friends, and when we walked in, we didn't think anything of it. We ordered, and strangely enough, the waitress didn't write anything down. It wasn't a big deal, but one of my friends didn't get what he ordered. I ordered duck with vegetables and rice. The duck was excellent, the vegetables were unseasoned, and the sauce for the rice and duck tasted like it had been made from a line. The food was also far too expensive for the quality and didn't do justice to what you get. There definitely won't be a second visit!

The crispy duck tasted surprisingly little like duck. It tasted more like fat. The sauce tasted very cheap and had strange flavors. I'm very disappointed.

"THE CUSTOMER/GUEST IS KING" This slogan has unfortunately lost its validity here. I was recently sick and confined to bed. My boyfriend wanted to bring me something to eat. I didn't want a full meal, so I asked for side dishes, as they're easier to digest. Fried rice and stir-fried vegetables as a takeaway, that was my request. But my boyfriend wasn't served, with the comment that he had to order a main course. What a shame! So far, I've been very satisfied with the food, so we've eaten there regularly. With this behavior, you've lost two regulars. 😫..

The dishes lacked in richness. We ordered a duck with vegetables and ended up with a plate full of bamboo shoots. For €25, that's awful.

The crispy duck with shrimp was delicious. The price/performance ratio was right. The portions were generous, and no ingredients were spared. The sauce was delicious, and the vegetables were crispy. Everything was freshly prepared. The staff were very friendly and professional, and they put a lot of emphasis on their guests' satisfaction.

This is a very nice and clean restaurant. The service was excellent and fast. Unfortunately, they are a bit inflexible. Noodles instead of rice weren't available. Instead, they had to order rice and noodles for an extra €6!!! In general, the prices are exorbitantly high. Although the quality wasn't that great. The meat was stringy and very fatty. Unfortunately. We won't be back.

Not a bad place in itself. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it all that much. The vegetables weren't cooked enough, and the sauce wasn't quite to my taste. The duck itself was excellent. Unfortunately, my colleague received the wrong dish. It was replaced promptly without complaint.

Had beef Sichuan style. Instead of a sauce as you know it, there was only oil! The whole dish was swimming in oil. Simply disgusting. I felt nauseous for an hour afterwards. Food must never be sent out like this. In addition, the meat was tough and it looked like it had been smeared with some kind of paste after it was fried, which made everything much worse. Unfortunately I can't say it any other way and I wouldn't have if I hadn't felt so bad afterwards: the worst dish I've ever eaten in my life. Doesn't even deserve a star...

I was there to eat a sour spicy soup and duck. It was sooooo good and it is simply a pearl of Chinese cuisine in Wandsbek! Definitely try it and the service was also super accommodating. 11/10 every time again!

Delicious, traditional Chinese dishes at reasonable prices (0.7 l wine 17 €, 0.4 l beer 5.40 €) for quite large portions (approx. 20 €). We didn't have a reservation for Saturday evening, but luckily there were still enough free tables at 7:30 p.m. The service was nice and even explained the starters to us when we asked. We'd love to come back. :)

Noble Chinese, suddenly something different than usual. The decor is rather cold and canteen-like.

The anniversary menu (30 years of Ni Hao) will be offered until the end of November. It is structured completely differently than in conventional Chinese restaurants and represents a cross-section of high Chinese cuisine. But warning: definitely go on an empty stomach - otherwise it's not possible... No chance without a table reservation on the weekend; If you're nice, you can order this menu at the same time, then the 5 chefs can prepare it accordingly. We ordered 1x without accompanying drinks and 1x with, the wines harmonized very well with the menu courses. The extra bottle of mineral water cost €7.90. The staff served very attentively and was very friendly throughout - the tip was well deserved.

Decent Chinese food, euro style, and undistinguished from what you get in other such restaurants in Hamburg. Vegetarian options are limited, and the menu isn't always clear if a dish needs a side order of e.g. extra vegetables to make a complete meal. The atmosphere is bland and not helped by the hectoring, pushy lady who served our table of 10.

Even on a Friday evening in a fully occupied restaurant, the waitress always keeps an eye on us. The food is quite excellent. Everything is freshly prepared here and you can taste it too. We'll definitely come back here.

Today I had dinner at NI HAO with two friends around 4 p.m. and unfortunately I have to say that at the beginning we were served very unfriendly, especially by one of the waitresses. We picked a spot in the back corner and walked or drove to the spot. One of my friends, the birthday child, relies on a large, bulky wheelchair. Now we had to walk/drive to the square through a corridor that was quite narrow for the wheelchair. While we were doing this, I overheard a conversation between the waiters that the other guests were talking about. There might not be enough space and we should therefore swap places. When we got there, the head waiter actually came and asked us to take one of the round tables because there was more space. We found it a bit strange, but swapped places. Of course, this took some time because the wheelchair can't even turn 360 degrees, but has to go backwards. No tables or chairs were moved to the side so that the wheelchair had more space to get there. When I got to the new place, I didn't want to make a fuss to please my friend, so I suggested that we just have a drink and then go to another restaurant. But he wanted to give the restaurant a chance and hoped the food was at least good. The food wasn't really seasoned to our liking, but otherwise delicious. At least that. ;) When the bill came at the end and my friend paid it with card, the waitress always hissed: "Tip, Tip"? Unfortunately, or fortunately, my friend didn't hear this and didn't give any advice. Of course I don't either ;). I have never experienced a wheelchair user being treated so negatively in a restaurant. Neither does that one Waiter asks for tip? However, I have to say that this is negative behavior primarily came from one of the waiters. If I interpreted correctly what that means is the "head waitress".

We were there on Friday, January 24th, 2025 with around 25 people as part of a company celebration - to the maximum enthusiasm of all participants. Very nice rooms with "the" perfect temperature without drafts and still very good air, very courteous service, extremely tasty and high quality food, also exquisite drinks - we can only highly recommend the particularly delicious kirschwasser... (:-)... Best accessibility by public transport and for drivers there is a free parking deck right in front of the door in the evenings and also a cheap parking deck - open 24 hours a day... The “paper war”, which is important for companies, also worked perfectly - so in summary - our full recommendation on all points.

We went to NI HAO because we wanted to go to our “safe bank” after less good experiences in Ahrensburg. As usual, things started well with our sweet and sour soup! My main course, crispy roast pork, was supposed to reconcile me to Chinese cuisine. Unfortunately, what came on the plate wasn't enjoyable. The meat was probably from "yesterday", dry, stale and reheated, without taste. A huge disappointment for me. However, the fresh, tasty vegetables couldn't be removed from the food. Unfortunately a real mistake for almost €26. What's actually going on with the Chinese restaurants?

The food is very average and expensive. When we saw the prices we fell behind, the service justifies the price a little. The food is okay. Requests are taken into account. But I have to be honest, a store for half the price will do too

We hadn't made a reservation and spontaneously got a table with 8 people on a Saturday evening around 8 p.m. The service was very quick and the food was served quickly. We all enjoyed it. The menu is extensive and the restaurant is large but still cozy. Just the right thing to end our bowling evening. We can recommend it. But it is certainly advisable to make a reservation.

Terribly outrageous FRAUD!!! We paid separately. The middle-aged waitress told one of us a price when she wanted to pay by card, then entered a HIGHER AMOUNT on the card payment machine, plucked the card out of the customer's hand and held it up to the machine herself. Only when that failed did we realize that she wanted to charge more money than the meal cost! So she wanted to STEAL A TIP!! Even after that, she was bold enough to accusingly ask the rest of us for more tips!! We will definitely NEVER COME TO THIS FRAUDULENT RESTAURANT AGAIN!!!!

Das Weihnachtsmenü war entgegen der üblichen Karte eingeschränkt. Es gab drei Menüs, wahlweise mit einen Fisch, ein Steak und Ente (mit Hoisin oder Orangensauce) geröstet, ohne Knochen, im Angebot. Natürlich gab es auch die Pekingente, bestellbar ab 3 Personen. Zu den einzel bespielbaren Hauptgerichten gab es Vorspeisen, Suppe und verschiedene Dessert.et Die Speisen waren allesamt sehr geschmackvoll und fachlich gut zubereitet. Die Ente wirkte frisch, keine TK Ware. Ebenso war diese auch nicht "totgeröstet" wie bei mach Asia Imbiss oder einfachem -Restaurant. Die Orangensoße der Ente war zum Beispiel frisch, ohne Geschmacksverstärker aus der Lebensmittelindustrie. Das Einzige was ich sehr schade fand: Wir hatten 10 Wochen im Voraus reserviert. Die reservierten Tische waren sehr schön eingedeckt. Leider war unsere Reservierung nicht gespeichert. Ohne Chinesischkenntnisse habe ich verstanden, wir seien nicht wichtig und die Kollegin solle uns irgendwo hinsetzen. Wir wurden dann an einem einfachen Tisch ohne Tischdecke (wie im Imbiss), neben der Eingangstür platziert. Dort saß die ganze Laufkundschaft. Ein chinesisches Restaurant, welches sich mit Gästen wie LangLang, Frau Poletto und mit seinem über 30 jährigen Bestehen schmückt, sollte mehr Sorgfalt walten lassen. Denn der letzte Eindruck zählt, egal wie gut das Essen war.

I had dinner there with my family on Christmas Day and was disappointed. It was my first time there and according to the review I thought wow, but as I said I was disappointed. The food had a strange aftertaste and was very salty. It doesn't have to be that way again but the staff was very nice.

Zum 2. Mal und wieder eine Geschmacksexplosion. Uns wurde am 25.12.24 umgehend der reservierte Tisch zugewiesen. Getränkeabfrage vor Auswahl der Gerichte. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Mit Frühlingsrollen und Wan Tan starteten wir in den Abend. Heiss, frisch und lecker. Ente, ein Fleischmix (zartes Rindfleisch, Huhn usw) mit frischem Gemüse in leckerer Sosse, Huhn in Curry und zum Abschluss Eis mit Obst. Genial. Ein schönes Fest für den Gaumen. Danke.

I was there today with my family and I have to say that I was somewhat disappointed. We had been sitting for almost 10 minutes before the first service person spoke to us. The Cola Zero and the Alster water that was ordered somehow tasted very strange. The food was okay, but I've eaten much better. But the employees were all very nice.

Food was quite good. What we found very unfortunate was that we were brought a bottle of water that we did NOT order and our glasses were filled up. We had actually ordered 2 cocktails and thought that might be part of the service - like a greeting from the kitchen. We were charged €7.90. A bitter aftertaste, afterwards you felt like you were in a SCAM restaurant. We won't go there anymore.

I spontaneously reserved a table for two people and was thrilled with the restaurant. Very classy and high-quality atmosphere. The food was really very tasty. The duck dishes are really next level. If you think you've eaten duck at an all-you-can-eat fast food joint, you've never been here before. Pure quality and delicate, for me it was a highlight and a new experience, which impressed me positively. I will definitely come again!

Indescribably delicious! Been here for lunch: Beef fillet Szechuan style. Spicy - Hot very authentic! I have to say one of the tastiest lunches I've ever had so far. With a salad with roasted duck as a starter + main course = €15.90 - I find the price-performance ratio unbeatable! Thank you Ni Hao for the delicious taste experience! My rating = 5.Star Plus

Insanely great authentic Chinese food, lots of Szechuan cuisine. High prices, but in my opinion completely justified.

There were two of us and we were there for dinner. Our food was on our table 7 minutes (!) after we ordered. So it wasn't freshly cooked but rather warmed up. Unfortunately it tasted like that too. Lukewarm food, despite the warming plate. I had a dish of duck (which was okay) with mushrooms and bok choy. The one mushroom I had on my plate tasted terrible, like nothing at all and was tough like rubber. Sticky and lumpy rice that was hard to get out of the bowl in one piece (no, not sticky rice!). Sauce that we had to scoop up with a small teaspoon because that's how it was served. Service was okay but not overly attentive. Afterwards I was really annoyed about being there because in every Asian snack bar I get the same food and pay significantly less.

The food was very, very good. Ambiance is fine. Employees all very friendly. Toilets are clean. It's a shame that we weren't asked again if we would like something more to drink. A few more glasses of water, beer and cola would have been ordered...

I was very happy with the salad at lunch. My main course was scampi with a very spicy sauce. So it wasn't very spicy. I'd rather go to my favorite restaurant Khan in Wellingsbüttel. But it's all in the eye of the Petrracht, my friends had duck and thought it was good.

Excellent food with perfect service. Certainly a little more expensive than the standard Chinese ones. But the taste and quality are worth the prices in every way. The employees are very friendly and attentive. Simply great.

Great restaurant with a clear menu and still a large selection. We ate here two days in a row during our HH stay. The second time we decided on the surprise menu. Fortunately. Everything was explained in a friendly manner and we got to know new dishes that we wouldn't have ordered otherwise. Dessert can be improved. This really had no Chinese touch. I won't say why. Everything else was a real joy. Very friendly and well organized staff. Next time HH we'll come back.

Very nice Asian restaurant. Rather expensive with a friendly atmosphere. It was full and rightly so. Courteous service. The main course, which was quite expensive, didn't look like much at first, but it was very tasty and I was actually more than full. Good drink selection. Asking whether you didn't want to give a tip was a bit unusual and sounded a bit demanding. All in all, highly recommended

Nice atmosphere, nice and attentive staff. Had the anniversary menu with many varied dishes. Cold and warm variations with a variety of flavors were served as starters. The main courses that followed were not only delicious, but also very generous in size. For dessert there was fresh fruit with a sesame ball (filled with sweet bean paste) and a scoop of ice cream. All in all, the restaurant is highly recommended.

Nach recht langer Zeit haben wir wieder einmal das Ni Hao aufgesucht. Beim letzten Besuch befand sich das Lokal noch an alter Stelle und ein Besuch dort etwas Besonderes. Vieles hat sich geändert, nicht alles zum Guten. Beim ersten Blick fiel uns der abgetretene Parkettboden auf, beim Setzen die teilweise abgewetzten Bezüge der Stühle. Es ist teilweise eng bestuhlt und recht voll. Die flinken und netten Servicekräfte schieben gekonnt ihre kleinen Teewägelchen mit dem Geschirr und den Speisen durch die Gänge. Unsere Wan Tan Suppe hob sich vom Geschmack anderer China Restaurants positiv ab, der Salat mit dem kleingehackten Entenfleisch und den Pinien- und Kürbiskernen war ein Geschmackserlebnis. Die Hühnchenwürfel mit Gemüse und den Cashewkernen ebenfalls. Die Dim Sums haben uns woanders schon besser geschmeckt. Hier war definitiv der Teig zu dick. Die geröstete Ente mit den Pilzen hätte gerne noch 15 Minuten länger garen können, das Fleisch war recht fest, aber nicht zäh. Sonst empfanden wir die Atmosphäre recht laut und eng. Es gibt Dämmplatten gegen dieses Problem, aber wie bei vielen Chinesen üblich, wird ein Mal kräftig investiert, und nach der Eröffnung jahrelang nur noch raus gezogen…

After quite a long time we visited Ni Hao again. During our last visit the restaurant was still in its old location and a visit there was something special. A lot has changed, not all for the better. At first glance we noticed the worn parquet floor, and when we sat down we noticed the partially worn covers on the chairs. The seating is sometimes cramped and quite crowded. The quick and friendly service staff skillfully push their little tea trolleys with the dishes and dishes through the aisles. Our wonton soup stood out from the taste of other Chinese restaurants, the salad with the chopped duck meat and the pine and pumpkin seeds was a taste experience. The chicken cubes with vegetables and cashews too. We have tasted the dim sums better elsewhere. The dough was definitely too thick here. The roasted duck with mushrooms could have been cooked for 15 minutes longer, the meat was quite firm but not tough. Otherwise we found the atmosphere quite loud and crowded. There are insulation panels to combat this problem, but as is usual with many Chinese people, they invest heavily once and only pull it out for years after the opening...

Be careful when paying in cash! The bill comes in a folder. It would be normal to get the change back. This doesn't happen here! I experienced this twice. Bill 137€ I gave 150€. There was no change. The waitress thought the 13€ was a tip. Keep €7 on your second visit. Seems like there's a scam here!

The food is very tasty and of good quality. We were there for lunch and there was also a delicious starter. I just think the drinks prices are too high.

Beef marinated wonderfully and fried juicy! Duck fried until crispy with hoisin sauce or pineapple. Delicious! Sweet and sour soup is initially delicate. Only the cold starter plate was a bit disappointing and too expensive! The service was unobtrusive and satisfactory. The ambience is pleasantly modern and not the usual Chinese kitsch. We'd love to come back.

Rindfleisch wunderbar mariniert und saftig gebraten! Ente schön kross gebraten mit Hoisinsauce bzw. mit Ananas. Sehr lecker! Süßsaure Suppe vorweg delikat. Nur der kalte Vorspeisenteller war ein bißchen enttäuschend und zu teuer! Der Service war unaufdringlich und zufriedenstellend. Das Ambiente angenehm modern und nicht der übliche China- Kitsch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The best Chinese restaurant I've been to so far!!!

Hatte gelesen, dass das Restaurant sogar von Lang Lang besucht wurde / wird...entsprechend hoch waren unsere Erwartungen.... Der gemischte Vorspeisenteller war geschmacklich eine Katastrophe , auch die Hauptgerichte in einer dicklich braunen Sauce ( wie zähes Gelee) waren eher Fastfood- Küche....uns hat es überhaupt nicht geschmeckt - schade ums Geld

Glutamate was used without mentioning it in the menu. The very friendly service didn't think it was worth mentioning. We know differently that only the skin of the Peking duck is served. It is very loud in the restaurant, Msn hears a lot of conversations from the neighboring tables.

Grottenschlechter Service, Personal unfreundlich. Haben 2 Vorspeisen und 2 Hauptspeisen bestellt. Nach der dritten Nachfrage kam über 1 Stunde später EINE Vorspeise. Keine Entschuldigung, wir sind dann gegangen. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Nach einer sehr positiven Rezension wollten meine Frau und ich wollten einen schönen Abend im NiHao verbringen. Daraus wurde leider nichts - aufgrund schlechten Services. Nach unserer Bestellung um 19.10 hat uns um 19.50 nicht einmal die Vorspeise erreicht. Als ich zaghaft daran erinnerte, wurde mir unwirsch beschieden, dass Teigtaschen nun mal 20 Minuten bräuchten. Einige Minuten später kam die Dame erneut und sagte, die Bestellung sei aufgrund eines Computerfehlers verloren gegangen und nahm die Bestellung erneut auf. Die Krönung war dann, dass anstelle der bestellten zwei Vorspeisen nur eine kam, die wir uns teilen sollten. Pannen können passieren doch ärgert es mich, wenn keinerlei Bemühen erkennbar ist, einen kleinen Ausgleich zu leisten.

Very good cuisine. Yummy . And very good service. Everything is very clean and you feel comfortable as soon as you come in. Reservation required. We got something on the day without a reservation. Parking spaces are lucky.
