Wir waren leider sehr enttäuscht von unserem Besuch. Wir hatten Pekingente bestellt, aber so eine schlechte Pekingente haben wir bisher noch nie gegessen. Die Ente hatte überhaupt nicht die typische knusprige Pekingentenhaut, die man erwartet. Das Fleisch hat eher wie eine ganz normale im Backofen zubereitete Ente geschmeckt und nicht wie eine traditionelle Pekingente. Auch die Soße konnte leider nicht überzeugen. Sie hat komplett anders geschmeckt als die typische Soße, die man zu Pekingente kennt -weder vergleichbar mit der, die wir in Peking selbst, noch mit der, die wir aus anderen chinesischen Restaurants in Deutschland kennen. Insgesamt hat uns das Essen leider nicht überzeugt und wir würden die Pekingente hier nicht weiterempfehlen. Schade, da wir uns sehr darauf gefreut hatten.

Es gibt nicht viel zu sagen; dies ist das beste chinesische Restaurant in ganz Hamburg und sogar in ganz Deutschland.

Ich hatte die Schweinefüße und sie waren großartig. Vorspeisen auch top, Service prima, mein neuer Lieblings-Chinese/Szechuanese!

Wir waren heute hier essen und wirklich sehr zufrieden. Als Vorspeise hatten wir die Wang Tang Suppe – schön heiß, aromatisch und geschmacklich sehr ausgewogen. Als Hauptgericht gab es Hühnerfleisch mit Gemüse und gelber Curry. Das Fleisch war zart, das Gemüse frisch und die Currysauce angenehm würzig mit einer leichten Schärfe. Auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Besuch mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Exzellent, meiner Ansicht nach das beste chinesische Restaurant in Hamburg. Gepflegt, hochwertig, auf den Tischen stets frische Blumen. Ausgezeichnetes Essen, weit besser als der Durchschnitt. Auf Nachfrage gibt es eine chinesische Karte mit chinesischen Spezialitäten. Der Mittagstisch ist sehr zu empfehlen, hervorragender Gegenwert. Gute Weine, das ist bei asiatischen Lokalen nicht selbstverständlich ...

Sehr leckeres und authentisches chinesisches Essen. Der Service und das Essen kommt sehr schnell. Der Laden ist sehr riesig, was das Ambiente etwas schmälert, aber es wurde das Beste aus dem Raum rausgeholt, das geht.

Wir sind total oft und gerne hier. Einfach immer sehr lecker! Schade ist nur, dass man über Lieferando nicht alle Gerichte bestellen kann, sondern die Auswahl eingeschränkt ist. Heute müssen wir nämlich leider zu Hause essen und jetzt bekomme ich nicht mein Lieblingsgericht Mapo Doufu.

Tolles Lokal. Sehr außergewöhliche Gerichte auf der Karte, sehr lecker! Auch das Ambiente hebt sich von anderen asiatischen Restaurants ab, lediglich die Raumtemperatur könnte etwas wärmer sein.

Wir waren begeistert von dem Restaurantbesuch. Wir hatten das Familienmenü für vier Frauen. Es war einfach fantastisch! Man merkt sofort, dass keine Fertigsauce verwendet wird (hoffentlich!), alles schmeckt frisch und jedes Gericht hat seinen ganz eigenen Geschmack. Die Portionen sind großzügig. Ich kann es absolut empfehlen! Auch das Personal war supernett.

Wir waren an Silvester dort und es war insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Abend. An der Auswahl wurde definitiv nicht gespart. Es gab eine große Vielfalt an chinesischen Gerichten, von Klassikern bis zu besonderen Sachen, sodass für jeden etwas dabei war. Alles wirkte frisch, gut vorbereitet und das Restaurant war sehr sauber. Zwischendurch wurden warme Tücher gereicht, wie man sie aus dem Flugzeug kennt, was ein sehr angenehmes und erfrischendes Extra war. Am Ende gab es sogar Berliner, was die Mischung aus authentisch chinesisch und einem Hauch deutscher Silvestertradition schön abgerundet hat. Draußen wurde ein großes Feuerwerk organisiert und zusammen mit der festlichen Atmosphäre herrschte eine richtig schöne Stimmung. Ein sehr empfehlenswerter Ort für einen besonderen Abend!

The crispy duck is divine – the skin is crispy and cooked to perfection, the meat tender and juicy. The Sichuan dishes have just the right amount of spice without overpowering the delicate flavors. I especially appreciate the authentic dim sum and the hand-pulled noodles – you can tell that the food is cooked with passion. And the value for money? Excellent. You pay significantly less for the quality than in comparable restaurants. The service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The ambiance is pleasantly understated – you feel welcome without being overwhelmed by kitsch. In short: If you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine in Hamburg and are tired of the same old standard dishes, this is the place for you. A clear recommendation – and I'm not known for being a man of many words when it comes to mediocrity.

Very friendly staff, very pleasant atmosphere. The food from the lunch menu was very good. For starters, the thickened, spicy and sour soup (spicy) is, in my opinion, one of the best "Peking soups" I've had in Hamburg so far. The main course was chicken fillet with vegetables in a yellow curry sauce garnished with fried onions. Very mild, very pleasant. Overall, I was very satisfied and will try other dishes.

The food is solid. Some dishes are really well-executed and authentic. Unfortunately, the "Sichuan-style beef" didn't taste much like Sichuan, and the spiciness was unfortunately very much suited to German palates (as was the case with all the dishes we tried). The salad with chopped duck pieces also had a surprisingly German flavor, mixed with iceberg lettuce, red onions, and tomatoes. (Yes, this combination is available in China, but it didn't make much sense in this combination, in my opinion.) The service was unfortunately very inattentive and left us sitting at the table for 20 minutes without even asking for drinks. Even if the rice runs out, it's difficult to get a server to come to the table quickly to take care of things. At that point, the restaurant wasn't even half full, and there were at least six service employees on site. The staff were quite nice, but for a restaurant with this ambiance and in this price range, there's still room for improvement. The dry-roasted beans deserve special mention; they were perfect and absolutely cooked to perfection! I'll probably give them another try.

Absolutely top-notch! Excellent cuisine, very friendly service, and portions you'd have to be really hungry to eat. The extensive wine list, expertly curated, is unusual for an Asian restaurant. A very good sign is the large proportion of Asian guests who appreciate the quality of the food. The location is very tastefully decorated, as are the three other restaurants run by the same group. There are several dining rooms of varying sizes for dining with family or friends. The large outdoor terrace is a particularly important feature in Hamburg. It's difficult to recommend anything in particular because everything is excellently prepared with fresh, high-quality products.

We've eaten here several times, but this time we were unfortunately put off by an extremely rude waitress. We found a table, and the waitress came over to take our order. My wife wanted to ask a question about the food, but she was immediately interrupted with a loud, "No, you can't ask, we don't have that." The manner was condescending and unprofessional. She took our order and left, as if she were desperate to get rid of us. We then decided to cancel the order and go elsewhere. As an F&B manager at a 5-star hotel, I'm honestly surprised that they even employ staff with such disrespectful behavior in guest service.

An authentic Chinese restaurant where you can rent a private room with a rotating round table for a larger group. The food was fantastic, and the prices were completely reasonable for the quality and quantity. I'd happily return to try more.

The service was extremely slow – completely unsatisfactory and simply annoying! The staff was unfriendly and rude. We ordered four dishes: lamb chops, pork intestines, potato strips, and hand-pulled noodles with chili oil. After almost 40 minutes, only the lamb chop arrived – and it was a disaster: completely oversalted, unpleasantly spicy, and extremely unpleasant in taste. An absolute disgrace! I'm furious and will never set foot in this restaurant again!

Very good Chinese restaurant, probably one of the best in Hamburg. I recommend ordering from the special menu, where all the dishes are simply listed. It feels like the traditional selection is there, while the large, extensive menu has a more European feel. I'd be happy to come back!

I go to this restaurant regularly. Authentic Chinese cuisine. Beautifully decorated. Great food. My only criticism is that the dishes (two people usually share 2-3 dishes) are very large, so you either order less (less choice at the table) or order more dishes to have more choice, but then you have to take a lot to go, which of course also affects your budget. The service staff is friendly. There's a lunch menu from 12 to 3 p.m. You get a starter and a main course. This is a bit Germanized, and I recommend being careful with the phrase "lightly breaded." My cod was a bit of fish with a lot of breading. The meat dishes, on the other hand, are very good. Overall, I'm very satisfied. Attached are photos of a starter salad and two lunch dishes.

In short: the best Chinese restaurant in Hamburg. Other traditional restaurants like Dim Sum House can't compete. Starters and main courses were excellent and plentiful. About 70% of the people who dined there were Chinese. Highly recommended.

There are vegetarian options but the Mapo tofu somehow has meat taste. Maybe from the sauce? I gave it a second chance but again it got me disappointed. Rice was satisfactory. Tea was provided in tea bag and just to add water costs 2 euros.

The food quality here is very good and the dishes are bursting with flavour. We often come here with big groups as they are very good at catering for these kind of events and the staff are always friendly. The spicy beef and crispy duck are two dishes that I highly recommend trying

I was there with my girlfriend shortly after it opened. We found the dishes quite okay. The menu was very clear and combined traditional dishes with modern cuisine. The service was really good, but I wasn't really impressed by the ambience. In my opinion you should always make up your own mind.

We came here for the first time based on the recommendation of one of my wife's Chinese colleagues, and have been here regularly since then: simply delicious, not comparable to 8 Treasures & Co., but good modern Chinese cuisine. And spicy really means spicy. Tip is, there are two cards, a normal large one with pictures, and a small list with almost the same things. Always order from the small menu, which is original without adapting to European palates. Much more exciting!

Price performance is excellent. The restaurant is fancy but the service was a disaster. On Valentine's Day! I estimate 5 waiters for around 150 guests. Endless waiting time. Guests all dissatisfied. Food was okay, but 20 euros a plate isn't worth it.

I originally ate it for the first time last year and thought it tasted very good, so I came here from Bremen to take it away this time. The taste was very different from the first time I ate there. The spicy dishes were all bland for some reason, and the salted egg yolk was too big. I didn’t hesitate to put in the shrimp, so I ordered a sweet and sour pork tenderloin, which I took my insulin and walked back home. Five people ordered five dishes, which cost almost 30 euros per person. I felt that the take-out portion was not as heavy as the dine-in portion. All in all, I’m really disappointed. I won’t even think about coming here again. After one sip, I feel like the sky is falling and I have no hope in life. I go home at night and lie in bed reviewing the game for an hour. I can’t sleep. I get up in the middle of the night and slap myself. Why do I have to drive two hours? Order a bunch of vegetarian food and bring it back for dinner 🤬

As a native of Shanghai, I was brought here to dine here by my German family. The environment decoration is very good. In the "Female Workers Square", the restaurant was named after Chairman Mao's "women hold up half the sky". The dishes we ordered are basically authentic. The eggplant was pretty good. But the lemon fish in golden soup is no good. I really don’t recommend it. The fish doesn’t taste good and the soup is getting spicier. I don’t like the curry chicken either. The waiters are all kind. At that time, there were two children sitting next to me. They were running around and making noise, which was very annoying. Indeed, you can only see children like this in Chinese restaurants (Chinese mothers only say, NO NO, but never do it or use actions to stop their children's behavior). Das Restaurantdesign ist modern-neutral, wenig chinesisch. Wir hatten das Pekingenten-Menü. Variante mit Orangensoße (ab 4 Personen). Die knusprige Entenhaut mit Pfannkuchen war gut, nur das beigefügte Gemüse etwas hart. Suppe gut. Die geröstete Ente lecker. Portionen reichlich. Zum Abschluss Sesam-Eis mit Lychees. Ganz ok. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Da drei Punkte die Note befriedigend ergeben, kann ich leider nur zwei vergeben, denn unser Besuch war nicht befriedigend. Vor zwei Wochen las ich einen begeisterten Bericht in der Zeitung über das bereits lange bestehende Hauptrestaurant, die von den Brüdern eröffneten Ableger sollten mit identischer Philosophie geführt werden, also wählten wir das näher Gelegene. Wir fanden ein sehr angenehmes Ambiente vor. Obwohl das Lokal schwach besetzt war, teilte man uns einen Tisch neben einem mit 10 Personen besetzten Tisch zu, entsprechend laut war es. Wir haben uns umsetzen lassen. Wir hatten vorher übersehen, dass das eigentlich vorgesehene Pekingentenmenü für zwei Personen keine Geröstete Ente im Hauptgang enthielt, die gibt es nur für drei oder vier Personen. Also haben wir uns für sehr leckere Riesengarnelen in Tempura als Vorspeise entschieden und uns ein Gericht mit gerösteter Ente empfehlen lassen. Sie sollte kross sein. Das war sie dann nicht. Die im Chinalokal übliche Zwergentenbrusthälfte kam in einem Liter Glutamatfertigsauce schwimmend mit einigen darin gar gezogenen Shiitakepilzen auf den Tisch, wäre die Haut vor dem Servieren kross gewesen, wäre das in der Flüssigkeitsmenge wahrscheinlich schnell untergegangen, sie war aber auch vorher erkennbar nicht kross. Wir hatten authentische Küche erhofft, unser Essen war hoffentlich weit davon entfernt. Was von vier verschiedenen Servicekräften serviert wurde war dafür sehr teuer. Für diese Art Essen zu teuer! Sehr schade!
