NGON - Sushi & Vietnamese Streetfood in München

I’m really disappointed. I came to the restaurant in person and clearly asked multiple times for noodles without any vegetables, only noodles, beef and sauce, because I can’t eat vegetables at all. The staff confirmed it, so I trusted them. But when I got back to my hotel, I opened the box and the dish was completely full of vegetables. This means I basically paid for a meal I can’t eat, and it went straight to the trash. It’s extremely frustrating to ask so clearly, get confirmation, and still receive the exact opposite of what I ordered. I won’t be coming back.

Ordered online, a miso soup and a pho xao. The noodles portion was very generous, especially with the chicken, which was tasty too! Sadly the sauce was not included in the price. The miso soup didn‘t have any miso paste, tasted like water, and didn‘t have the traditional miso soup ingredients.

The food arrived quickly, but was unfortunately subpar. The pho consisted of everything but what it was supposed to contain. The peanut sauce had the consistency of glue.

Great find to grab a variety of Asian style cuisine. My partner and I split the Red 4 sushi plate and the summer roll, a great amount of food that was delicious! Loved that this gem was super close to the Hotel, where we staying.

The food is incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, and truly flavorful. You can tell that quality is paramount here. The chef is incredibly friendly and accommodating; he takes time for each guest, greets them with a smile, and makes them feel immediately welcome. You can really tell how important his guests are to him. Furthermore, the service is top-notch, fast, and always deliciously prepared. Highly recommended!

The owner was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, the food wasn't good. The mango sauce was mushy, and the spicy sauce had no spicy flavor at all, so you have to rely on bottled sauce. Meat and fish are hard to find in the food. I've always wanted to eat there, but that's no longer the case; I wouldn't recommend it. It would have been quite inviting to sit down, if it weren't for a friend of the place who was frantically pacing back and forth next to the table. And a small recommendation: update the menus; they seem a bit dirty.

I always order from them, and the quality of the food always pleasantly surprises me. Highly recommended.

I felt very comfortable here, and the food was really great considering the prices. Of course, you can find better food in Munich for significantly more money. But if you want to treat yourself to Vietnamese street food at reasonable prices (by Munich standards), then this is the place for you. And the people who work there are very personable and friendly.

Doesn't list allergens. Pho Xao contains egg and isn't classified as an allergen. Stay away from that store.

We got the egg rolls (fried spring rolls), the pork belly with vegetables rice plate, the beef pho, and a plate of stir fried rice noodles with a combination of proteins. The egg rolls were good even though they were a bit vegetable heavy. The pork belly was a bit salty but had good flavor otherwise and the vegetables in it were quite nice. The noodles were a little bland and we personally wish there were more noodles in it as it was a little vegetable heavy, but overall enjoyable still. The pho was fine, the broth could’ve used some more depth, but it was still good. The staff were very friendly. In the end, it’s worth a try and we would recommend as all the food tasted fresh.

We tried several dishes, fried rice, duck, fried noodles, wontons, fried shrimp... everything is very nice, quickly ready and the portions are so big that two people can eat them!!!

Just a snack bar, nothing special, but inexpensive and therefore completely fine. Edit: unfortunately the review had to be updated. Food is not worth the money, sauce tasteless, noodles sticky, rice tastes like it was from the morning before, beef is tough. Never had such a bad Asian meal before.

Fried flat rice noodles with 🦆. I missed the sauce in this dish. Duck was a bit dry and had an exceptional taste of its own. I wouldn't order again. Edit: I gave the store another chance today. Conclusion: Things got even worse... The flat rice noodles formed a sticky lump due to the lack of sauce. There was lots of salad underneath the noodles. You can also artificially inflate the dish to make it look like more.

A corner of Asian cuisine in Europe. Feeling cozy when entering the restaurant. Very satisfied with the quality of the food here. It is an ideal meeting place for people living far away from home every time they miss their home food. If I have a chance, I will come back👌

We ordered via Lieferando. The food came after ordering in less than 15 minutes, which is generally great (although we don't live far away). However, I would have preferred to wait longer if the food had been tasty. Absolutely overpriced for the taste. We were very disappointed.

I came to the restaurant just before closing time, but the staff was still very friendly and professional 🩷 That really impressed me. What is particularly noteworthy, however, is the quality of the food and the taste of the dishes. The beef and salmon were very fresh, tender and juicy, and the spices were perfectly balanced 👍🏻👍🏻. Given the excellent quality, the prices are absolutely reasonable. I will definitely come back!

We got take-out about an hour before they closed. The sushi was ok but the meat dishes were so bad we didn’t eat them. For €15 per dish they should’ve been better.

My favorite local to go to when I crave delicious Vietnamese Streetfood. It’s always cooked fresh and you can taste that it’s home made. I recommend the summer rolls, mango salad and Tom Kha Gai soup. Also the service is very friendly and nice. Definitely worth to try it out !

I've been ordering here for three years and the food is always great! Whether it's sushi, fried rice or udon noodles. The staff is always very friendly, I can only recommend Ngon!

We ordered for delivery. For the price, if I can count the meat in the meal on one hand, that's just disappointing for me. After all, we pay money for it and we want to get something in return. The food is not fresh. It is pre-cooked and quick to prepare. My meal is definitely not worth €15. Maximum fast food prices of €8.

Ordered mango salad. According to the menu with shrimps. There were no shrimp, no dressing. And it's not a mango salad like in Vietnam. Just chopped vegetables and mango. The salmon in the sushi wasn't entirely fresh. Hardly any ginger and wasabi. Too expensive for that. Wouldn't order there

Have had food delivered a few times. Always very good and freshly prepared. Always delivered on time and the driver was very nice.

We ordered food here because the delivery time was originally stated to be short (15-40 minutes on average). After ordering, the delivery time was 1 hour 10 minutes. After it still wasn't there after more than 1.5 hours, we tried to ask several times by phone. After 5 calls they said: “Just wait a few more minutes” and then they hung up while I wanted to ask something else. Ultimately the food arrived after 2 hours and was barely lukewarm and mushy and everything else was crispy!!!

Delivery service: came quickly but food was specifically ordered without eggs. …Came with eggs. After calling the restaurant, the operators said that if I paid €10 again I could get it without eggs. It's a shame therefore only 2 stars.

Wir waren jetzt das 3. Mal hier Essen und es gefällt uns immer sehr gut. Sehr nett eingerichtet, absolut akzeptable Preise und alle sehr nett. Das Essen ist (man merkt es) sehr frisch zubereitet. Wir finden das negative Kommentare zu Unrecht gegeben werden. Ich empfehle das ngon jedem weiter.

Nice customer service, very long wait time even though I was the only customer and nobody was there. Good workers though! Indoor sitting is very limited, for the most part you'll need to sit outside but only enjoy on warm days. Good connection with bus to Marienplatz and Aidenbachstraße.

Ich wohne hier gleich ums Eck und hole super gern mit meinem Freund spontan etwas zu Essen. Es geht immer sehr schnell und schmeckt auch sehr gut. Allerdings finde ich die neuen Preise leider wirklich unverschämt. Wir alle kämpfen mit der Inflation. Aber eine Preissteigerung von 7,90€ (was auch schon nicht preiswert war) auf 10,90€ für gebratene Nudeln bzw. gebratenen Reis... Hier kann man meiner Meinung nach nicht mehr von Inflationsausgleich sprechen…

Die Kellner waren sehr nett und höflich. Beide Gerichte die ich bestellt hatte, Reisbandnudeln mit Huhn und brown sugar milk tea mit tapioca waren lecker und frisch zubereitet. Das Restaurant ist auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen.

Meine Freundin und ich sind zufällig vorbeigekommen und entschlossen uns, einen kleinen Imbiss dort zu nehmen. Der Kellner war super freundlich & herzlich und brachte das Essen bereits 10 Minuten nach der Bestellung. Das Essen war sehr schön angerichtet und super frisch! Wir kommen sicher bald wieder :)
