The portion was very small, and there was no leniency offered. The beef goulash for €12.90 consisted of 3 pieces of meat and 5 potato halves in broth. There was no response to my complaint in the store. I will not be coming back!

I had an upset stomach for over 24 hours afterwards. This place is just awful, and expensive too.

Today I ordered Kari Ga and homemade mango lemonade to go. When I picked up the order, I saw a large plate and a box, which I thought contained a container of lemonade. When I got to the hotel, I found that there was no lemonade in the box, only rice. They hadn't included any lemonade with the order. The cutlery was also missing. I've attached a photo of the check. I request that you refund the money for the lemonade to the card used to pay for this order.

The food's good. They have a big selection of vegetarian plates and the atmosphere is cozy. Kind of like coast vibes.

The food was very tasty but unfortunately there was a long wait and it was very crowded and therefore a bit messy.

The Pho and Salad had amazing tastes, the missing star is for the lack of flavors in the spring rolls. Also service was lacking some enthusiasm from staff, but all in all we enjoyed the place. Sitting outside on the plastic stools was an appreciated improvisation

I'm Vietnamese and honestly didn't expect much from this restaurant, but the food is exactly what I'm used to. They also offer dishes that other Vietnamese restaurants often don't have, and it tastes so delicious! Super authentic and perfectly seasoned. Very good value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try good Vietnamese food!

This was truly the best meal I've had in a long time. Totally fresh and incredibly delicious. Especially the spring rolls – I've never eaten anything so fresh, they were truly special. I also really like the concept of picking up your food, and the relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, when we were there, it was quite busy, and we waited almost 45 minutes for our food. That was a bit annoying because it was already full, but it wasn't like it needed to take that long. I really enjoyed sitting outside. Even though it's right on Fraunhoferstrasse, the green space makes it feel really cozy. There are lots of young people there, and the relaxed atmosphere – I really like it. And the prices are unbeatable for Munich.

A lovely restaurant for a snack right on the Isar River. The ingredients are very fresh and the dishes are exceptionally tasty. There's hardly any waiting time, and it's self-service.

The beef noodle soup was okay but not authentic, not delicious, and the vegetables were a bit wilted and had bug wings on them 🙂

Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't impress me with its taste. Of course, we didn't try everything, but the soup and papaya salad didn't really impress me. Since we eat out a lot, I have to say that this is the worst papaya salad I've ever had. The staff is very friendly, and I really enjoyed my lychee spritzer with chia seeds.

Cilantro allergy - food is still prepared with cilantro and not deducted from the bill. What a pity.

The tofu banh mi was delicious. A good portion for the price. The bread could have been a bit fresher; I've had better ones. All in all, though, I recommend it; it's in a good location and tastes great.

It's a chain with at least four locations in Munich. Ordering is done at the counter and service is self-service. Unfortunately, they're good but understaffed, so you risk finding yourself in the middle of a general confusion. The food is decent and very well priced for the city.

Hue beef noodle soup is okay but not authentic, the restaurant is quite crowded but the food comes out quickly. The raw vegetables are wilted and show signs of being crushed.

For starters, we had dumplings and summer rolls – both incredibly fresh, with perfectly balanced flavors and a wonderfully light seasoning. The summer rolls in particular were super crispy and came with a delicious peanut sauce. For the main course, we had bun rice with chicken. The chicken was wonderfully tender, the marinade aromatic, and the rice beautifully fluffy. Everything tasted wonderfully authentic and light – exactly how Vietnamese food should be. Add to that the friendly service and cozy atmosphere. A clear recommendation for anyone who loves Vietnamese cuisine! We'll definitely be back.

By far the worst Bahnmi I've ever had. The bread was super soggy and there was almost no filling.

First of all, my husband had a super delicious and spicy curry, which he was very happy with. I had the 82 with lemongrass tofu and crispy tofu. Unfortunately, neither was included with the dish. I simply got tofu with lots of chili, which wasn't listed on the menu. After thinking I'd received the wrong dish, I wanted to exchange it. Unfortunately, I was simply turned away with the statement: this is the correct dish and it's the only tofu they have. Unfortunately, they also forgot to omit the coriander, which I had requested in advance.

Very tasty food, was very quick, especially perfect for taking away to the Isar

Food: Tastes good, but the banh mi are barely filled and can't possibly satisfy a hungry adult (picture attached). All the meat seems to be pre-cooked, so the beef is ground, the chicken is pulled, and the pork is thin bacon-like strips – it's clearly not freshly cooked here. Still, the taste is good overall. Service: None, self-service. Atmosphere: Plastic chairs, feels very cheap and is obviously not designed for long lingering. So, perhaps the ambiance is deliberately geared toward a fast-food experience, but the truth is, it's not a pleasant one.

The bun rice noodle bowl wasn't authentic at all. It was very salty and had some sauces in it that didn't belong there.

Very popular place, good location and beautiful interior. I wanted to visit this place for a long time, but the food was not tasty. Unfortunately no value for money. In the photo it looks very nice, but I was disappointed. The staff was very busy and apparently that's why they were not very friendly...

Food good, banh mi was super small tho (7,90€ for 1 1/2 meatball)

We ordered jasmine iced tea and mango iced tea, tastes like tap water, mango is from a can. The waitress was very unfriendly, it was our first time there and we sat outside. We didn't know that the chili sauce couldn't be taken outside, the waitress came and criticized me very loudly and immediately took the sauce away. After eating I have diarrhea, in the evening I have this long night of music, unfortunately I can't enjoy the music because of the diarrhea. The food tastes very salty and not fresh, not recommended :(

More of a bistro than a restaurant, family run. It's currently my favorite restaurant. The food is super tasty - it tastes fresh and is well seasoned. I give the food six stars - it's... delicious. The employees are very quick and always busy, I think.

We ordered Bun Ga and Bao Burger. In total we’ve paid about 22 euros. I have had better Vietnamese food for same price and the food itself was not that good tasting. Bun bread was moist and really hard to eat. It was falling apart. Bun Ga had nice fresh herbs that made it refreshing to eat although the marinated chicken was cold and chewy. Like it was cooked hours ago and reheated in the microwave. Together, the atmosphere was the best thing about the restaurant and I don’t think I would visit here again

My family and I is traveling in Europe and this is our 2nd week. We were craving asian food really bad. Chi Thu had really delicious food and excellent service from all the waiter and waitresses, including the cashier. The best dinner!!!

Food is great, authentic Vietnamese street food. Free condiments are also available. Ambience is done in connection to the theme which is street food. Service could be better though.

Food is hit or miss..sometimes the food I really great sometimes it's just average. The prices are quite economical. And the service is quick .

Great asian restaurant with super fresh products and tasty dishes

Our most frequent meal to go in Munich - here the price-performance ratio is right ✅ It's primarily street food - the Bhan Mis on hand are an excellent snack for medium hunger. If they're sold out, we'll happily switch to one of the Bao Burgers (but be careful - spills are guaranteed). Of the warm dishes, we like the curry the best - for a little extra extra sauce and a second portion of rice can be added. Both the chicken and tofu versions are very good. Overall, the tofu here is very well prepared.

Food looks nice but tastes very average. Service had a super runny nose behind the counter beside all the fresh ingredients which was quite disconcerting. While we were inside 3 dogs came in…, and the service person started cleaning vigorously around our table while we were eating… Overall we can’t recommend this place although the atmosphere is not bad if you remove the questionable service. Food definitely is nothing good. At best very average. 🫠 we had the pho Bo and cha gio thit.

Bowl was ok, fresh food, little soup at the bottom of the bowl. Outside the seats on the plastic cups is not really comfortable and u sit right at the loud street. Only self-service, and for 2 lemonade + one soup and main disk 35€ it’s okaying but I have several better experiences in town with that type of kitchen. For stop by ok - but would not go there willingly again.

Definitely great value for money! Very quick and good, perfect if you don't have too much time. Good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, hot and cold. Everything in the restaurant is self-service. Unfortunately a bit cold as the door constantly opens and closes. Also no possibility to put down/hang up jackets. The humps are very small and have no backrests, and we couldn't find any hooks either. Because of the temperature, we just left them on. All the staff were really very friendly.

Chi Tu is a… – a full day. You can do it in winter, summer; you can eat there in the morning and evening. Chi Tu is really a very tasty experience. You can enjoy pho warm, you can order spring rolls cold. So you can go on vacation and then fortify yourself with Chi Tu, you can have a feast with friends. You can eat whatever Vietnamese food you feel like in the evening or lunch. That's why it doesn't matter the time of day, no time of sun, no winter or anything like that - the Vietnamese eat it every day. So Chi Tu is a forever food. No matter whether you order Pho, Bun Cha or Banh Mi. No matter how the dishes are prepared, everyone has their own taste. One of them just got up in the morning, likes to eat pho, and he also goes to Chi Tu in the morning. Not a bit. That's why I don't give a damn about Chi Tu. There has to be humor. That's what humorous Vietnamese cuisine is for. He also has a sense of humor, the Vietnamese guy. Chi Tu strengthens. Chi Tu not only strengthens you, the dishes bring you energy, but I'm afraid that once you've eaten there, you'll also enjoy the whole thing, the faster you'll be. Yes or, the more you build up your strength and joy: that's the important thing! Ha-Ha! Chi Tu tastes good, that’s what matters!

The dishes are made by hand with gloves, but the ladies not only touch the food with the gloves but also the money, pagers, pens etc. and then put them straight back into the salad! You really lose your appetite!

The chicken curry was good but a little too little, the chicken broth unfortunately tasted a bit watery, which is why my companion didn't get his money's worth. All in all, the visit was okay but not outstanding. My partner would have liked a little more meat in the soup.

The food is not to my taste. The chicken in the chicken rice dish was too dry and salty. Even though the dish was on a cast iron skillet, it wasn't hot. Summer rolls are also rolled with chicken breast that is too dry and salty. I probably like mango juice best. The food is quite quick

Such good food! The pho really hit the spot, the crispy chicken was extra crispy, you hear that crunch with every bite while the chicken itself was so juicy! The broths were so flavourful and rich! The banana pudding dessert which was che was so good and not too sweet! Staff definitely know what they’re doing. The decorations were so cute with good ambiance. Authentic Vietnamese stools which added to the experience. The banh mi slapped! The vegan banh mis did not lack any flavour, both the seitan with lemongrass dressing and the tofu with a soya dressing were so good and flavourful. One of the best banh mi’s I’ve had outside of Viet Nam. The chicken pho actually was with chicken broth, which is so rare to find! Most places only use beef broth for all options. So if you’re looking for actual authentic Vietnamese person approved viet food, this is a good place to go.

The buns (banh mi) are getting smaller and smaller. It feels like there's less in it with every visit, and everything seems more and more carelessly prepared. The dumplings, as an example in the photo. I already ate the Banh Mi because I was hungry! 😅 This is how you lose customers. It feels like only profit optimization is important, as if you don't give a shit about the quality of your own dishes. Unfortunately, I've been feeling like I've been ripped off for some time now (picking it up myself), so now I'm giving it a review! ... I really enjoyed it with you! sorry!

A very tasty Thai curry with fresh, crunchy vegetables. Quick preparation. Nice waitresses. Typical Asian fast food restaurant with appropriate seating. I like it! You order at the counter and you can pick up your food there pretty quickly. I've noticed that several Asian people go there to eat, which I think is always a good indication of delicious food. Gladly again!

Yummy Vietnamese street foods. The staff are friendly and listen to a specific request- like I prefer no paté in my chicken Banhmi. Would keep coming back.

I have ordered food there or eaten there several times as the food is generally good. However, in at least half of the online orders I didn't get the vegetarian dish, but rather the meat version, very frustrating. And when I ordered two dishes, only one of them was delivered. At least the staff tried to deliver the second dish themselves. I would therefore recommend eating at this local restaurant.

Both inside and outside the small restaurant there is an intense smell of grease in the air! Service is always difficult, they always forget to put the complete order in the bag!!! If you ask to check it out, they get in a bad mood. Other than that, the meals are ok for the price (you can't complain about the quality of the products) otherwise I wouldn't go there just to smell the grease. Despite being part of a very solid network in Munich, this branch still has a lot to structure. And offer a quality service to the neighborhood.

Today I had dinner at Chi Thu with work colleagues. Very authentic, very tasty and very fairly priced. Also very friendly staff. Top recommendation.

A nice street food concept with self service. The food was good and really authentic (confirmed by a Vietnamese friend). But at the counter to order the food and to get the food is tight and when there were many people it was quite full . 😅

On the way back from Munich to Stuttgart we made a quick stop to pick up two Banh Mi for the journey. Once pork and once beef, both were very tasty but nothing earth-shattering and not the best I've ever eaten. Since we ordered “To Go”, I don’t want to commit to the service and ambience. Therefore 3 stars each.

I ate the crispy chicken wings and I loved them especially the sauce that comes along with it. Friends ate a noodle bowl with soup and a bao and it was all very tasty. Cute place with aesthetic decor. Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from.

Love it at CHI Thu! I prefer to eat Bun Ga, always fresh, invigorating and delicious. Prices are completely OK. For the portions. The self service with the vibrating alarm clocks is practical and good.

The employees are very nice and also quick when it comes to preparation and service. Prices are in the mid/upper range. I’ll level with you. I don’t diet. I eat what makes me feel good, and usually that means some meat. But when I keep it Veg/Vegan, my mind races back to Chi Thu. The vegetable broth in the Pho is sublime, evidently made daily by a team of chefs who have pride in what they do. Each sip/bite, my stomach and tastebuds thanking me for my choice! Highly recommend for the menu that ranges for many dietary requirements that will leave the whole group satisfied!

Unfriendly service I ordered the caramelized pork belly. I got a soup with soft boiled pork belly. When I asked if that was correct, all I heard was a snappy yes. Topic of misconduct... The dish had nothing to do with caramelizing.

Excellent Asian takeaway! I ordered takeaway from this Asian restaurant for the first time today and I have to say I am absolutely impressed! The food was incredibly tasty and authentic. Every bite was a treat for the senses. The portions were generous and the prices were extremely fair for the quality of the food. The order was filled promptly and correctly and the packaging was careful so that everything arrived fresh and hot. I look forward to trying more dishes from this great restaurant. Definitely worth five stars!

Nice service, food was really tasty. You get a device that vibrates when the food is ready. Unfortunately there was no extra chili to sharpen. The forks are stamped out of cheap material and are therefore not very comfortable to use. A set of new forks with better quality would be nice. But overall I was satisfied. Because the food was tasty, I would like to stop by again.

It is a very nice place for an easy and quick meal. Food is delicious, and the menu offers vegan and vegetarian options. Staff was friendly, important note, everyone I saw working there was Vietnamese and I aee as a sign of authencity, these people know what they are doing and one can tell! Even on Monday afternoon, the place was busy, but the service was quick. Interior is very simple, and the atmosphere is relaxed and easy-going.

Food was mediocre, if tou are used to good vietnamese dont come here. The sandwiches and pho was pretty mediocre. Prices are quite high for what you get. Would not come back.

I was there a few years ago and was once again impressed by the delicious dishes! Delicious sauces, dishes were very tasty and the well-seasoned tofu was also great. Overall 5 stars and absolutely addictive. Stayed here for two consecutive days. The self-service concept works great.

I've always enjoyed eating Bahn Mi Chicken, but unfortunately it's now very sparsely topped and the bread is so dry that it hurts your palate. I think 7.90 euros is too much for that. It's a shame that the quality has deteriorated so much.
