Had dinner there today. Mega tasty, great prices & great service. The food had a short wait and was extremely tasty. Highly recommended 😊

A great restaurant, unassuming from the outside, but it's a little gem. The service is great, never intrusive but absolutely attentive, the interior is cozy - in summer you can sit outside. The food is absolutely outstanding! Be it duck, chicken or paneer, everything tastes fantastic! See you next time!

Delicious and hearty dishes. Everything is very affordable in terms of price. The service is pleasant and very friendly. A little makeover would be desirable but this does not alter the quality of the meal served. To recommend

I had a very, very, tasty Chicken Vindaloo. The best I've had in Berlin. Service was fine. They have a very comfortable patio blocked off from the road by a high hedge. I'll definitely be back.

The restaurant was super clean with very friendly staff and family welcome. The food was great and has authentic indian taste. Specially the aloo tikki and biryani. I ate for a week on this restaurant and will visit again if i go to Friedenau, Berlin.

We spontaneously wanted to try something new in the neighborhood, and I love just looking around on such occasions. This time we chose Nepalese cuisine - a cuisine that I hardly knew and had difficulty imagining. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we entered, which immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. The menu was surprising with a selection that included traditional Nepalese dishes as well as some Indian recipes. This is because Nepal and India share many cultural similarities, which is also reflected in their cuisines. Both countries are closely linked geographically and have exchanged recipes, spices and cooking techniques for centuries. Still, I wanted to try something that, for me, was more different from classic Indian cuisine. My friend chose a soup with dumplings known as momo - a typical dish in Nepal that has strong Tibetan influences. I, on the other hand, ordered grilled chicken with fresh vegetables, which turned out to be a real delicacy. Everything tasted wonderfully fresh and was excellently seasoned. I also treated myself to a mango lassi, which was pleasantly light. Mango lassis can often be very heavy on the stomach, but this one was airy and perfectly rounded. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty, we felt like we were in good hands and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. So if you want to try something different, this small Nepalese restaurant is definitely worth recommending.

Sehr freundliches Restaurant in Friedenau mit einer Außenfläche die gut zur Strasse abgeschirmt ist. Sehr zu empfehlen die Mix Momos (2-3 Personen) und die nepalesische Mix Platte für 2-3 Personen. ZU Trinken gibt es indisches Jogi Bier vom Faß.

Excellent food, the prices are more than fair for the quality and quantity and the service was really top notch! The outside area is quite average so I have to deduct a bit from the ambience, but that doesn't change my clear recommendation for this shop!

Eating at Yak & Yeti is always a celebration for us. The Nepalese dishes are a great culinary delight in terms of taste. The service from the very hospitable, humorous and really personable operator, his lovely wife and his great team is always very friendly, attentive, helpful and customer-oriented.

Very good Indian food, the platter for 2 could be a little bigger as I could have eaten the portion alone...

Excellent food, atmosphere and customer service. Been here thrice in less than two weeks. What keeps us coming back is the warm staff and very tasty food Especially if you’re Asian/south East Asian who prefers spice this place serves that perfectly. Our favourite it their momos and I personally loved their dal Bhat, but we’re slowly trying them all. Great place for tea and samosa too Best Indian/Nepali food in Berlin so far. We can’t recommend this place enough and we’ll be back soon for more 😍

Ordered for takeaway as I'm in the hospital nearby. The samosa I got was nice. Well seasoned with a bit of spice. Can't complain about it. The chicken masala had a decent sauce for Berlin. I found whole spices which is a good sign. A bit underwhelming with regards to seasoning. The rice was alright. It tastes like other Indian places basmati rice here in Berlin. For me it has an odd "dirty" flavour. Like the water used was not very clean or else the rice itself is just not very good. The biggest problem with the dish was the chicken. Semi translucent, jelly like and not an enjoyable texture. It seems like its poor quality. For the 20+ euro overall I'd expect better than that.

I eat there regularly and find the food in every form fantastic. I've tried a lot of different things on the menu and everything tasted delicious and unique. The team is super nice and caters to every request.

My go to place whenever I miss Indian food.

After living for 3 years in Berlin, I had all but given up on finding decent South Asian cuisine, and then by chance we decided to try this place, and what a dining experience it was! Great service, lovely ambience and most importantly fantastic food.. The place is a little out the way but it is for sure worth travelling to if you need your fix of proper South Asian cuisine..

Lamm-Biryani ist mein absoluter Favorit. Schmeckt einfach lecker. Kein Szene-Lokal, sondern einfach ein nettes Kiezrestaurant mit Biergarten. Angemessene Preise, netter Service.

Wish I could give this place 6 stars. Scrumptious food at a very reasonable price. I got the vegetarian dal lunch and it was a big portion and came with a little salad and soup. Really filling, and only €7.50. The dal was spiced to perfection. And it came out very fast. Also don’t skip the Jogitee, I said yes to honey in mine, and it was so yummy and warm on a cold day.

Waren schon sooo oft da und es ist immer wieder ein besonderer Genuss. Der Service war auch immer super und wenn man möchte bekommt man das Essen auch richtig schön scharf.

Wow the food was truly exceptional!! My best dining experience in many months, even beats some Michelin starred restaurants in flavour enjoyment! Great service too and genuine atmosphere. We had the Momo Soup and the Vegetarian Himalayan platter which were fantastic choices so you can taste many flavours. Good beer selection too.

Immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Endlich mal ordentlich gekürzte Speisen. Wir lieben das.

Mit dem 187er Bus bin ich öfters vorbeigefahren und wollte wegen der Kombination "indisch-nepalesisch" unbedingt mal einkehren. Gestern war es soweit und ich fand es richtig lecker. Bei sommerlichen Temperaturen konnte man draußen sitzen. Plätze waren reichlich vorhanden. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell. Indisches Yogi-Bier vom Fass war sehr erfrischend und weil es nicht so bitter war, schmeckte auch noch ein zweites. Vom Haus gab es für uns drei 4 kleine Papadam-Fladen mit Sößken. Als Vorspeise gab es Linsen- und Hühnersuppe sowie ein Mix-Auswahl von 12 nepalesischen Momos (je 4 Teigtaschen mit vegetarischer, Hühner- und Lammfüllung), dazu einen würzigen Dip und noch einen schönen Naan-Brotfladen. Als Hauptgericht hatten wir neben einem klassischen Hühner-Curry zwei verschiedene Gerichte aus Nepal, einmal ein vegetarisches Biryani und eines mit Lamm, die jeweils in Form von kleinen Türmchen serviert wurden, mit einem Dip-Schälchen einer Minz-Koriandersoße. Auch ohne die Soße war das Gericht sehr saftig und aromatisch. Fantastisch. ...und die Preise sind total in Ordnung. Wir waren alle drei von unseren Speisen und unserem Aufenthalt begeistert und freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal.

Ihr Pilz-Chili ist ein herausragendes Gericht, das das Engagement des Restaurants für Authentizität unterstreicht. Die Aromen sind kräftig, die Pilze zart und die Gewürze perfekt ausgewogen. Das gemütliche Ambiente und das aufmerksame Personal runden das Erlebnis ab und machen es zu einem der besten authentischen nepalesischen Restaurants der Stadt!

I have been to this restaurant several times, every time the service, food taste and quality was amazing. From vegetarian thali to Indo-Chinese dishes, everything was delicious. I will recommend vegetarian thali and vegetarian chowmein.

Best place in Berlin to taste authentic Nepalese food . I would suggest to order lamb dumplings and traditional Nepalese thali set . Ambience is amazing and service is wonderful.

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker. In den normalen Essensmenüs sind Vorspeisen (Salat und Crackerbrot mit Dips) und Fladenbrot enthalten. Obwohl ich einen großen Magen habe, konnte selbst ich meine Hauptspeise nicht aufessen. Das Mitnehmen war kein Problem. Wir haben sowohl Grillplatten als auch vegetarische Alternativen probiert - alles wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

So far I found the best momos at this place in Berlin. I requested the chutney be made a bit spicy and it was amazing. After dining in, I took some for my friends and they absolutely loved it. The staff was very kind and polite. I would be returning again for more.
