Ich komme extra aus Dresden nach Berlin, um hier zu essen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Essen ist nicht nur lecker, es macht einen glücklich.

Es gibt hier sehr schmackhafte Speisen mit tollen Gewürzen.

Sehr leckeres Essen welches seine Zeit braucht dafür hat man eine Schöne Überraschung, wenn das Essen kommt. Das Personal und der Service ist immer Hilfsbereit und sehr Nett. Es ist an einem Verkehrsberuhigten Bereich gelegen und Ruhig hier. Ich wünsche allen eine gute Gesundheit und einen guten Rutsch in das neue Jahr 2026. Ich komme gerne in voller Besatzung wieder! An alle neuen Besucher die etwas leckeres suchen sind hier genau richtig.

So perfekt, dass es fast unwirklich erscheint! Das Essen und die Küche waren hervorragend, das Personal unglaublich freundlich und der Preis unglaublich fair.

Anlässlich eines Geburtstags waren wir im New Yak & Yeti und für uns war es eine Premiere der nepalesischen Küche. Und wir waren begeistert. Unsere Wahl fiel auf den Sherpa-Teller sowie den Himalaya-Teller (vegetarisch) und als Vorspeise eine Momo Mix. Es hat uns so gut geschmeckt, dass wir noch während gegessen haben, wieder zu kommen und das New Yak & Yeti in unsere Lieblingsrestaurant-Liste auf zu nehmen. Das Lokal selber ist hell und gemütlich eingerichtet, das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Bestes Restaurant in der Nachbarschaft. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und man wird immer freundlich empfangen. Das Ambiente ist super gemütlich.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit, das Essen war fantastisch und wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen.

Okay es war sonntagabend und sehr voll aber eine Stunde auf das Essen warten ist grenzwertig zu mal Reis und Chicken Chili ja nun nicht super aufwendig ist, Hühnchen war nicht zart sondern eher gummiartig, vielleicht hatte ich nur Pech?

A very, very cute restaurant with dishes from Nepal and India. For classic Nepalese food, it's best to ask what they recommend. Everything is absolutely delicious. Spicy isn't necessarily Indian spicy. The service is truly attentive.

A huge selection of dishes. The taste was fantastic; I had the artichoke masala. The service is great, witty, and informative.

Friendly and prompt service, deliciously prepared dishes—what more could you want? The Himalayan Chardonnay was a surprise. Powerful and pleasantly mineral with a fruity note, it was an experience. We'll definitely be back.

Wow. Absolutely fantastic. First time with Napalese and it supprised me. The food was made and served perfectly.The staff were super nice and friendly .The meat was tender and the hotness was not over powering. And to finish it off with caramelised rice pudding balls with ice cream that was to die for. We will definitely be going back to try more. Thank you for you hospitality.

I had the Lamb Masala – incredibly tender meat in a perfectly seasoned sauce, truly flavorful! I especially want to highlight the puuri bread: fluffy, fresh, and simply a dream. It was the icing on the cake. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere rounded off the experience. I'd love to come back!

We spent a wonderful evening here. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and happy to advise on the menu. The selection of dishes leaves nothing to be desired. The ambiance is inviting, and the tables are beautifully set. The food doesn't take long to arrive and tastes delicious. I ordered the Himalayan lamb and can highly recommend it – the seasoning and spiciness are unbeatable. The price is more than fair, the portions are a decent size, and you also get a loaf of bread and, upon request, additional portions of rice. We will definitely be back.

A great restaurant, unassuming from the outside, but it's a little gem. The service is great, never intrusive but absolutely attentive, the interior is cozy - in summer you can sit outside. The food is absolutely outstanding! Be it duck, chicken or paneer, everything tastes fantastic! See you next time!

Delicious and hearty dishes. Everything is very affordable in terms of price. The service is pleasant and very friendly. A little makeover would be desirable but this does not alter the quality of the meal served. To recommend

I had a very, very, tasty Chicken Vindaloo. The best I've had in Berlin. Service was fine. They have a very comfortable patio blocked off from the road by a high hedge. I'll definitely be back.

We spontaneously wanted to try something new in the neighborhood, and I love just looking around on such occasions. This time we chose Nepalese cuisine - a cuisine that I hardly knew and had difficulty imagining. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we entered, which immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. The menu was surprising with a selection that included traditional Nepalese dishes as well as some Indian recipes. This is because Nepal and India share many cultural similarities, which is also reflected in their cuisines. Both countries are closely linked geographically and have exchanged recipes, spices and cooking techniques for centuries. Still, I wanted to try something that, for me, was more different from classic Indian cuisine. My friend chose a soup with dumplings known as momo - a typical dish in Nepal that has strong Tibetan influences. I, on the other hand, ordered grilled chicken with fresh vegetables, which turned out to be a real delicacy. Everything tasted wonderfully fresh and was excellently seasoned. I also treated myself to a mango lassi, which was pleasantly light. Mango lassis can often be very heavy on the stomach, but this one was airy and perfectly rounded. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty, we felt like we were in good hands and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. So if you want to try something different, this small Nepalese restaurant is definitely worth recommending.

Sehr freundliches Restaurant in Friedenau mit einer Außenfläche die gut zur Strasse abgeschirmt ist. Sehr zu empfehlen die Mix Momos (2-3 Personen) und die nepalesische Mix Platte für 2-3 Personen. ZU Trinken gibt es indisches Jogi Bier vom Faß.

Eating at Yak & Yeti is always a celebration for us. The Nepalese dishes are a great culinary delight in terms of taste. The service from the very hospitable, humorous and really personable operator, his lovely wife and his great team is always very friendly, attentive, helpful and customer-oriented.

Very good Indian food, the platter for 2 could be a little bigger as I could have eaten the portion alone...

Excellent food, atmosphere and customer service. Been here thrice in less than two weeks. What keeps us coming back is the warm staff and very tasty food Especially if you’re Asian/south East Asian who prefers spice this place serves that perfectly. Our favourite it their momos and I personally loved their dal Bhat, but we’re slowly trying them all. Great place for tea and samosa too Best Indian/Nepali food in Berlin so far. We can’t recommend this place enough and we’ll be back soon for more 😍

Ordered for takeaway as I'm in the hospital nearby. The samosa I got was nice. Well seasoned with a bit of spice. Can't complain about it. The chicken masala had a decent sauce for Berlin. I found whole spices which is a good sign. A bit underwhelming with regards to seasoning. The rice was alright. It tastes like other Indian places basmati rice here in Berlin. For me it has an odd "dirty" flavour. Like the water used was not very clean or else the rice itself is just not very good. The biggest problem with the dish was the chicken. Semi translucent, jelly like and not an enjoyable texture. It seems like its poor quality. For the 20+ euro overall I'd expect better than that.
