We were searching for a proper Nepalese restaurant for a while. The Dalbat has the cozy feeling of your living room next door. The place is super cute, the owners are absolute sweet and the hospitality is only exceeded by the delight of the delicious food. The place is an absolute gem. Thank you so much, we will come back soon.

Very tasty at the same time very comforting.. I got the chicken thali with veggies..every item was good..Chicken curry was the show stopper...very mild lemon leave flavor..loved it.

The cuisine had very interesting and original flavors. It's a shame the dishes we chose were so spicy, as this wasn't indicated on the menu... a bit tricky if you can't stand spicy food. But that didn't detract from the charm of the place, the friendliness of the staff, or the flavors I experienced (even though my palate was slightly numb 😂). Thank you for the experience!

Amazing food, lovely service and good value for money!

I really enjoyed the place! Food was very yummy! The service is a little late but if you have good company it does not seem as much. The place is clean and the staff is very kind. Would recommend to reserve a spot before you go as the place is small inside. We ordered the Chowmein with Tofu and vegan chilli'ed dumplings and they both were great. They have a good selection of drinks but masala coke was my pick and it was good too! Also makes a very cozy date night spot. 🫶

The food was so incredible that we didn’t even bother take pictures of it. Shout out to the chef for coming up with two incredibly flavourful desserts. The service was super nice and humane, which is not to take for granted in a city like Berlin. Definitely coming back :)

A charming little shop, rather unassuming from the outside, but surprisingly atmospheric inside. A lovely, cozy, warm space, friendly service, and a fantastic culinary experience. The food was also beautifully presented. We'll definitely be back.

I was so happy to find an authentic Nepalese restaurant. I definitely want to go back to Nepal now. The momos were absolutely delicious. The dal bhat didn't disappoint either! I can definitely recommend it!

The chili-up momos were fantastic. Super tasty and beautifully moist inside. You have to eat them whole to avoid losing the filling! The slightly spicy tomato sauce went perfectly with them.

Dalbhat is by far the best, most authentic Nepalese restaurant in town. The food is excellent, I’m obsessed with the momos and the specials they have never disappoint. I love that it’s a small place with a very warm atmosphere and the staff is always kind and attentive. 10/10 recommend this gem

Absolutely loved this place! The food was incredible—rich flavors, fresh ingredients. You can tell a lot of care goes into each dish. We tried a few different items and were blown away. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which really added to the experience. It’s not just about the food here—the atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and full of good energy. Prices are also extremely fair. Honestly, one of the most authentic Napelese restaurants in Berlin!

We visited Dalbhat restaurant with high hopes, looking forward to a warm Nepali welcome and the comforting feeling of being at home. While the food itself was quite good and we appreciated the Nepali songs playing softly in the background, we were disappointed by the lack of authentic Nepali hospitality. Surprisingly, no one spoke in Nepali, which took away from the cultural experience we were expecting. It felt more like a generic dining experience rather than the warm, familiar atmosphere we associate with Nepali eateries. A bit more cultural connection and personal touch would go a long way in making the place truly feel like home.

A real highlight! The Nepalese food was super tasty – the momos and the traditional Dal Bhat were particularly impressive. Everything is freshly prepared, well seasoned and lovingly presented. The atmosphere is very cozy, with nice details from Nepalese culture. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, you immediately feel welcome. Price-performance is absolutely right. If you're looking for authentic cuisine outside the mainstream, you've come to the right place. I'll definitely be back!

We had a great evening and maybe we were just unlucky, that can happen :D But the food was way too salty and therefore very disappointing - I had been looking forward to it for a week after reading the reviews :D It just looks great to the eye and we had a nice evening as I said, but there was little space in the restaurant and the food was too salty, which are actually the main points for which I go to the restaurant - ambience and food. Otherwise the staff was very friendly. maybe next time?

I don't know how to describe... it was such a great food experience. The first trial of Momo and I feel like the best because it can't be better. Ambiance is so cozy and chill. Stuff is very smileful and good with customers. You should give it a try.

We ordered several dishes including dessert. Everything was very, very tasty. There are toilets and card payment is possible. Since the restaurant is not particularly large, I recommend reserving a table online.

A small, heart warming Nepalese restaurant!! It was my first time trying their cuisine and I can’t deny I was surprised. The waiter/ maybe also the owner took time to explain every dish and tried to get us the best option based on what were our expectations. We took Newari set which was a combination of another 5 dishes, momos, and ended the meal with those 2 exquisite dessert, hear me out, DON’T SKIP DESSERT, the halwa cheese cake was to die for, also tried doodh bhat and I was wowwww.

The name is dalbhat and I was disappointed with the dalbhat dish. The momo's was nice but the dal bhat was a flop dish. Recommended for momo only.

Well, apart from the nice service, I unfortunately can't say anything positive. The food is just food, but nothing special. You can do this much better at home. The portion received was so tiny it was absolutely laughable. Definitely too expensive for the quality. Definitely not again!

Great food, cozy atmosphere with lots of international people and nice service

The best Nepalese food I had in Berlin, in a neighborhood where you wouldn't expect it. All the people who work there are incredibly warm, service-oriented and kind. Lots of vegan options, the momos, potato salad & peanut salad are world class. There is also a good selection of natural wines. In summer it's nice to sit outside, but it's worth making a reservation. We have often ordered from Wolt there and have always been satisfied.

A cute little restaurant that seems very informal and offers a comfortable atmosphere. The food is very authentic and delicious in all variations (vegan, with meat). Rarely have we eaten so incredibly well. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Overall we were more than thrilled. Absolute recommendation!

The appetizer with the sonorous name “Peanut Salad” is a completely over-seasoned peanut mass, this dish borders on outrageous. Extremely salty and fatty - perhaps a measure for people who have to ensure their survival in high alpine regions with high-calorie foods - but unfortunately inedible. The main course Dalbhat with beef (beef with sauce) made me a little more forgiving. The meat was tender and the sauce was surprisingly good. The staff is quite friendly and you can pay by card. Toilets are typical Berlin grins.

The chef explained to me that it was fruity and sweet and it was a great idea, as I was told in West India... the food ended up being sour. Too bad.

Finally, somewhere that breaks out of the Berlin mould and offers what they promise: an authentic taste of their offered cuisine. There’s a lot of south-east Asian restaurants in Berlin that have all become homogenous in their flavour, but Dahlbat steps out of that malaise. The dishes were varied and interesting and I recommend trying their set which includes a lot of small dishes, just so you can have a taste of everything on offer. Some of the smaller dishes were a miss in my opinion, such as the marinated peanuts which was quite salty, while the chicken was superb. Do not skip the Momos, they were absolutely banging, especially when combined with the Dahl that came our other chickpea dish. Really rich and complex in their flavour but not too far in any one direction, just perfectly balanced. The smokey char from the vegetables really ties the flavour together. The Nepalese cheesecake dessert was also really yummy, as well as the cocktails which were really yum, maybe a bit strong, but who’s complaining there ;) And for such a small place with one person running the whole front of house, the service was superb! Thanks so much for taking great care of us.

10/10 for every aspect of dining at Dalbhat! I had previously only gotten delivery, which is consistent and always hits the spot. Last night I went to Dalbhat to dine in for the first time, and I was impressed with the kind and accommodating service, the quality of the food, and the cozy atmosphere. Favorites include jhol momo (mixed), soup of the day, and chow mein. But everything I have tried is really good :) I will be coming here again and again!

First the positive: cozy little "hole-in-the-wall" place, feels like a family run business. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere laid back. It is so tiny though that one sits very tightly and each the time main door opens, cold air rushes in. The portions of the main dishes are just as tiny and honestly tase like Indian food without the spices. If the prices of the dishes reflected this low-key, back-to-basics ambience, I would rate this restaurant highly. But for the range of 14-16 Euros I get MUCH better and much more food in other places. Even the beer price was higher than comparable venues.Too bad. (To be fair, I might just be unrealistic about inflation)

The most authentic nepali food in Germany. We were there for a birthday party. We absolutely recommend for the food. The atmosphere was okey, since we were there without reservations we had to take the table at nearby Laden(sort of art house).

Great Nepalese restaurant in Wilmersdorf. All the food was very yummy and the waitress was very nice ans knowledgeable about the menu. I had the Dalbhat (rice and lentils dish that gives the name to the restaurant) and the vegetarian Momo's. The portions are generous. Definitely reccomend!

One of the best meals I've had in Berlin hands down. We ordered the chicken momos, sungur (pork belly), and beef curry. Flavours were amazing on all the dishes and the value for money is great! Would visit again and again and again!

Delicious Nepalese food. Reminded me straight away of my trip through Nepal. The aromas and taste are so authentic that you might be surprised at first. Definitely anything but ordinary. The Cola with the black salt is not for the faint of heart! The service was also super nice, even when it was busy. I recommend making a reservation, even if there are only two of you.

Went here for my bday and have been wanting to try this place for months. It did not disappoint! We had a large momo with sauce, not the tomato one. We had lamb and the pork belly. For two people we shared everything! Finished without being too full or too bloated. We poured the hot sauce on top of eveeyrhing and even bought some to take home. I loved this place. Its so charming. Will definitely be coming back again.... Soon!

The shared platter of appetisers was delicious - especially the peanut salad. The momos were also excellent - perfect consistency and great taste. The waitress was very friendly and helpful.

Delicious food in a small but cozy restaurant. The selection on the menu is not that large, but there is still something for everyone. Vegans also get their money's worth. The two dishes pictured (momos and tempeh from the wok) were vegan and highly recommended. We'd love to come back

An address that is worth the detour when you are in Berlin! Very pleasantly surprised, the staff are warm and very welcoming, the service is efficient! A very good opportunity to eat quality food in a place far from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. If you like Asian food, go here!

Great restaurant with friendly staff

This is the place for a home cooked tasting meal in a homely environment. There are plenty of vegetarian options. I loved the momos and the dalbath plate. If you still have space after a meal, the halva cake with matcha cream is an absolute stellar. Thank you to the friendly staff with a passing sense of humor. Loved it!
