Die besten Momos in der Stadt !

Um 14:00 Uhr wartete ich zehn Minuten vor dem Laden, während der Kellner die Bestellung eines Tisches aufnahm und sich mit den Gästen unterhielt, wobei er mich ab und zu ansah. Offenbar war es ihm zu viel Mühe, mich an einen der vielen freien Tische zu verweisen. Oder vielleicht war es meine Hautfarbe, die ihn störte.

Ich war jetzt schon ein paar Mal hier, immer wenn ich Lust auf leckere Momos oder ein schmackhaftes Schweinefleischgericht habe, und wurde nie enttäuscht. Die Momos sind immer köstlich, und das Schweinefleisch war perfekt angebraten und unglaublich aromatisch. Der Service ist freundlich, das Essen kommt schnell, und die Atmosphäre ist lebhaft und einladend. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Es kann recht voll werden, sodass man oft recht nah an anderen Gästen sitzt. Das ist zwar nicht weiter schlimm, aber es kann sich etwas eng anfühlen, besonders wenn man viel bestellt hat. Insgesamt ist es einer meiner Lieblingsorte, wenn ich Lust auf Momos und Schweinefleisch habe, und ich werde definitiv wiederkommen.

Dieser Ort ist zwar ein ganzes Stück von uns entfernt, aber wir haben es aufgrund der guten Bewertungen einfach mal gewagt. Und es hat unsere Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllt. Ihre Momos sind einfach die besten in Berlin. Ich finde es toll, dass man sich die veganen, Hühnchen- und Rindfleisch-Momos selbst zusammenstellen kann. Das nepalesische Menü ist auch fantastisch. Beim nächsten Besuch wollen wir unbedingt das Chowmein probieren. Das Ambiente ist großartig, man fühlt sich wie in einer Gastfamilie im Himalaya. Das ist jetzt mein neues Lieblingsrestaurant in Berlin.

Ein ganz köstliches Mahl hatten wir hier. Die Gewürze waren für mich neu, obwohl ich schon viele Speisen aus allen Kontinenten der Erde ausprobiert habe. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Unglaublich leckeres Essen, absolut empfehlenswert! Die kleinen Gerichte und die scharfen Nudeln mit Hähnchenhackfleisch sind ein Muss. Die Chili Momos sind auch super.

Der Lavendel-Gin-Fizz schmeckte wie ein Michelin-Stern-Drink ⭐️ und die Desserts waren wirklich köstlich.

Achtung: ich habe mir leider den Magen verdorben! Wir waren am Sonntag durch Zufall dort und ich habe u.a. das Newari-Set gegessen. Das sind viele Kleinigkeiten, wir zum Beispiel ein Erdnuss- oder ein Kartoffelsalat und Kichererbsen-Dahl, die sicher nicht frisch zubereitet werden. Es war sehr intensiv gewürzt und recht scharf, daher hab ich nichts schlechtes gemerkt. Leider ging es mir zwei Stunden später sehr schlecht und ich musste mich übergeben. Ich kann nicht genau sagen, woran es lag. Wir haben noch Reis dazu bestellt, weil es zu wenig war und einen Reispfannkuchen gehabt, mein Sohn hat nur den gegessen ohne Füllung und ihm ging’s gut.

Die Jhol Momos waren warm, lecker und frisch zubereitet. Die Gewürze waren perfekt abgestimmt. So etwas habe ich noch nie gegessen. Der Service war außerdem sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wir haben in diesem Restaurant ein wunderbares Essen genossen. Die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte war köstlich, und unser Kellner erklärte uns die Gerichte ausführlich. Auch die Hauptgerichte waren hervorragend. Absolut empfehlenswert – wirklich gutes Essen und ein sehr netter Service.

Glaubt mir, das ist DAS beste Restaurant für südasiatische Küche in Berlin. Da kommt nichts ran. Die Authentizität, die Liebe und Sorgfalt, die in jedes Detail des Restaurants und der Speisen gesteckt wird, ist unübertroffen.

Ich bin Nepalese und ein echter Feinschmecker, daher hatte ich aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen hohe Erwartungen. Leider war es eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir waren zu viert mit einem fünfjährigen Kind und bestellten verschiedene Gerichte: drei Sorten Momos, ein Thali, Egg Thukpa und Schweinebauch. Das Thali war schlecht zubereitet. Der Reis war nicht gar, das Dal war viel zu salzig und schmeckte, als hätte es schon länger gestanden, und das Gundruk war fad und ohne jeglichen Geschmack. Das Egg Thukpa war das enttäuschendste Gericht des Abends. Es hatte fast keinen Geschmack und war völlig geschmacklos. Für ein Gericht, das eigentlich herzhaft und sättigend sein sollte, war es eine absolute Enttäuschung. Der Schweinebauch war okay, aber nichts Besonderes. Die Momos kenne ich schon von vielen nepalesischen Restaurants, und diese hier waren nichts Besonderes. Sie waren wahrscheinlich die besten von allem, was wir bestellt hatten, aber geschmacklich und qualitativ blieben sie hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Was das Ganze noch schlimmer machte, war, dass uns trotz unserer Beanstandungen – darunter offensichtlich nicht durchgegartes Essen, das wir nicht essen konnten – alles berechnet wurde. Das angebotene kostenlose Lassi erschien uns angesichts der Situation völlig unzureichend. Wir gaben rund 150 € aus, was wir absolut nicht gerechtfertigt fanden. Das Restaurant ist eindeutig überbewertet, und aufgrund dieser Erfahrung werde ich nicht wiederkommen. Mit Abstand das schlechteste nepalesische Essen, das ich je in Berlin gegessen habe.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir waren eigentlich nur wegen der Jhol Momos dort, sind aber dann doch wegen des Newari-Sets geblieben. Das Newari-Set ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Die Yuzu-Limonade war herrlich erfrischend. Der Service war sehr freundlich.

Super Rarität und hausgemachte Spezialitäten in Berlin

Ich habe dieses Restaurant vor Kurzem besucht und ein wunderbares kulinarisches Erlebnis gehabt. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants fiel mir die herzliche Gastfreundschaft auf. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich, aufmerksam und erklärten mir bereitwillig die Speisekarte, was es mir leicht machte, neue Gerichte zu probieren. 😊 Das Essen war das absolute Highlight des Besuchs. Die Momos waren perfekt gedämpft, saftig und voller Geschmack, während das Dal Bhat-Set ein wohliges und authentisches Geschmackserlebnis bot. Jedes Gericht war wunderbar gewürzt – reichhaltig, aber nicht zu intensiv. Das frisch zubereitete Achar verlieh den Gerichten eine angenehme, pikante Note, die alles perfekt abrundete. 🌶️🍽️

Die Lieferkosten sind 3 Euro höher als der Preis im Restaurant. Dal Bhat mit Hühnercurry kostet 16,97 Euro, im Restaurant 13,90 Euro. Falls es sich um korrekte Informationen handelt, wollte ich sie hier nur kurz erwähnen.

Wir lieben die Momos hier! Sie sind so zart, weich und lecker. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Auch das Halva-Dessert ist sehr lecker. Der Service ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir haben auf der Terrasse zu Abend gegessen, die Straße ist sehr ruhig und angenehm. Das Essen war sehr gut und der Service freundlich.

Wir fanden es richtig nett und authentisch. Das Essen war wirklich sehr, sehr lecker, teilweise auch geschmacklich mal was anderes als wir es sonst kennen. Der Service war ebenfalls super: freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein kleiner Hinweis, ohne Punktabzug, weil sonst alles gepasst hat: Die elektronische hetzige Musik hat für uns gar nicht zum Setting gepasst (obwohl wir sowas grundsätzlich mögen). Kann gut sein, dass wir da einfach Pech hatten und es nicht die normale Playlist ist, wollten es nur mal als Feedback dalassen. Für uns wäre das sonst tatsächlich der einzige Punkt, der uns davon abhalten würde, öfter zu kommen.

Ein köstliches, spontanes Abendessen mit frischen Zutaten und vielen Gewürzen. Bei vollem Haus kann es recht laut werden, also erwarten Sie kein ruhiges Esserlebnis.

Ein gut geführtes nepalesisches Restaurant, das authentische und stets gleichbleibend leckere Gerichte mit ausgewogenen Aromen serviert. Der Service ist zuvorkommend und effizient, die Atmosphäre ruhig und gemütlich. Eine ausgezeichnete Wahl für Liebhaber der nepalesischen Küche.

We were searching for a proper Nepalese restaurant for a while. The Dalbat has the cozy feeling of your living room next door. The place is super cute, the owners are absolute sweet and the hospitality is only exceeded by the delight of the delicious food. The place is an absolute gem. Very tasty at the same time very comforting.. I got the chicken thali with veggies..every item was good..Chicken curry was the show stopper...very mild lemon leave flavor..loved it.

The cuisine had very interesting and original flavors. It's a shame the dishes we chose were so spicy, as this wasn't indicated on the menu... a bit tricky if you can't stand spicy food. But that didn't detract from the charm of the place, the friendliness of the staff, or the flavors I experienced (even though my palate was slightly numb 😂). Thank you for the experience!

Amazing food, lovely service and good value for money!

I really enjoyed the place! Food was very yummy! The service is a little late but if you have good company it does not seem as much. The place is clean and the staff is very kind. Would recommend to reserve a spot before you go as the place is small inside. We ordered the Chowmein with Tofu and vegan chilli'ed dumplings and they both were great. They have a good selection of drinks but masala coke was my pick and it was good too! Also makes a very cozy date night spot. 🫶

The food was so incredible that we didn’t even bother take pictures of it. Shout out to the chef for coming up with two incredibly flavourful desserts. The service was super nice and humane, which is not to take for granted in a city like Berlin. Definitely coming back :)

The chili-up momos were fantastic. Super tasty and beautifully moist inside. You have to eat them whole to avoid losing the filling! The slightly spicy tomato sauce went perfectly with them.

Dalbhat is by far the best, most authentic Nepalese restaurant in town. The food is excellent, I’m obsessed with the momos and the specials they have never disappoint. I love that it’s a small place with a very warm atmosphere and the staff is always kind and attentive. 10/10 recommend this gem

Absolutely loved this place! The food was incredible—rich flavors, fresh ingredients. You can tell a lot of care goes into each dish. We tried a few different items and were blown away. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which really added to the experience. It’s not just about the food here—the atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and full of good energy. Prices are also extremely fair. Honestly, one of the most authentic Napelese restaurants in Berlin!

We visited Dalbhat restaurant with high hopes, looking forward to a warm Nepali welcome and the comforting feeling of being at home. While the food itself was quite good and we appreciated the Nepali songs playing softly in the background, we were disappointed by the lack of authentic Nepali hospitality. Surprisingly, no one spoke in Nepali, which took away from the cultural experience we were expecting. It felt more like a generic dining experience rather than the warm, familiar atmosphere we associate with Nepali eateries. A bit more cultural connection and personal touch would go a long way in making the place truly feel like home.

A real highlight! The Nepalese food was super tasty – the momos and the traditional Dal Bhat were particularly impressive. Everything is freshly prepared, well seasoned and lovingly presented. The atmosphere is very cozy, with nice details from Nepalese culture. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, you immediately feel welcome. Price-performance is absolutely right. If you're looking for authentic cuisine outside the mainstream, you've come to the right place. I'll definitely be back!

We had a great evening and maybe we were just unlucky, that can happen :D But the food was way too salty and therefore very disappointing - I had been looking forward to it for a week after reading the reviews :D It just looks great to the eye and we had a nice evening as I said, but there was little space in the restaurant and the food was too salty, which are actually the main points for which I go to the restaurant - ambience and food. Otherwise the staff was very friendly. maybe next time?

I don't know how to describe... it was such a great food experience. The first trial of Momo and I feel like the best because it can't be better. Ambiance is so cozy and chill. Stuff is very smileful and good with customers. You should give it a try.

We ordered several dishes including dessert. Everything was very, very tasty. There are toilets and card payment is possible. Since the restaurant is not particularly large, I recommend reserving a table online.

A small, heart warming Nepalese restaurant!! It was my first time trying their cuisine and I can’t deny I was surprised. The waiter/ maybe also the owner took time to explain every dish and tried to get us the best option based on what were our expectations. We took Newari set which was a combination of another 5 dishes, momos, and ended the meal with those 2 exquisite dessert, hear me out, DON’T SKIP DESSERT, the halwa cheese cake was to die for, also tried doodh bhat and I was wowwww.

The name is dalbhat and I was disappointed with the dalbhat dish. The momo's was nice but the dal bhat was a flop dish. Recommended for momo only.

Well, apart from the nice service, I unfortunately can't say anything positive. The food is just food, but nothing special. You can do this much better at home. The portion received was so tiny it was absolutely laughable. Definitely too expensive for the quality. Definitely not again!

Great food, cozy atmosphere with lots of international people and nice service

The best Nepalese food I had in Berlin, in a neighborhood where you wouldn't expect it. All the people who work there are incredibly warm, service-oriented and kind. Lots of vegan options, the momos, potato salad & peanut salad are world class. There is also a good selection of natural wines. In summer it's nice to sit outside, but it's worth making a reservation. We have often ordered from Wolt there and have always been satisfied.

A cute little restaurant that seems very informal and offers a comfortable atmosphere. The food is very authentic and delicious in all variations (vegan, with meat). Rarely have we eaten so incredibly well. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Overall we were more than thrilled. Absolute recommendation!

The appetizer with the sonorous name “Peanut Salad” is a completely over-seasoned peanut mass, this dish borders on outrageous. Extremely salty and fatty - perhaps a measure for people who have to ensure their survival in high alpine regions with high-calorie foods - but unfortunately inedible. The main course Dalbhat with beef (beef with sauce) made me a little more forgiving. The meat was tender and the sauce was surprisingly good. The staff is quite friendly and you can pay by card. Toilets are typical Berlin grins.
