Service is top notch. Food is good too. But you might need to ask specifically for the specials. Those are not included in the regular menu.

The food in this Indian restaurant was very good & delicious. I tried appam & kuttu parrotta (vegetarian) and butter milk. All were delicious. I liked it..

i had the varutharana curry which was absolutely delicious, super fragrant and spicy! exactly what I wanted.

I came here with a friend to eat on a Sunday evening based on the good reviews. The atmosphere was not so cozy. They had flashy lights switching colours hanging in the window and a screen with ads next to the table. It was a bit distressing and didn't help my concentration when having a conversation with my friend. For my taste it's a bit too much going on. The girl serving us was very friendly and also helped us in finding the right spice level for us. We ordered the Sri Lankan Starter Plate, Momos and a Curry each. The starters were good but nothing special. The starter plate didn't offer much value for money. You get 3 pieces for 12,90€, however, from the looks of it I don't think it was fresh nor homemade (could be wrong though). The taste was okay. Out of the three things on the plate, I liked the roll with Mutton (lamb) the most. The Momos we ordered half fried, veggie and spinach/cheese. The taste was again alright, nothing to gush over about. And somehow I expected the Momos to be bigger as seen before in other restaurants. In the end I liked the size, but they were quite expensive for what it was. Both Curries were kinda disappointing. I expected it to bee more rich in flavour. The sauce itself tasted somewhat bland. You could taste the spiciness and some strong spices like the coriander seeds (I think) or something similar. But apart from that it was lacking in flavour and Umami. I think if they would create a more comfy atmosphere, use less flashy lights and either use the screen for something else or place it somewhere else this could help with setting the mood. I wouldn't come back for the food as it is right now.

Food is great! Menu is very well prepared! But whoever packs food for delivery is really hurting this place.

The food at Curry Leaf was really good, with flavors that hit the right notes. The service, especially from the young woman attending to us, was pleasant and attentive. The overall atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal.

Really good restaurant with authentic South Indian food. The briyani was so so so good. They also have Palm Toddy. The staff were so kind and friendly, and I felt very welcome. They also have special menus over the weekend which I will come back for.

We stumbled upon Curry Leaf quite by chance. And we (a group of four) were thrilled. Very friendly service, incredibly delicious Indian food (the best I've ever eaten), and a simple yet bright and welcoming atmosphere. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

Delicious! I recommend it! If you are sensitive to spicy food, don't hesitate to ask the waitress who will inform you of the milder options (which are just as numerous as the spicier ones).

The Uzhundu Paal (sweet) drink is super delicious and warming. I highly recommend the Saiva menu (vegetarian); everything tastes delicious and the presentation is great with the banana leaf! Pleasant atmosphere.

Comfortable and clearly laid out, very friendly staff, you feel welcome, you are asked if everything is okay, if you would like anything else, even with the dishes we are asked if you should order more, various dishes are served on banana leaves, it is so beautiful, my daughter and I were impressed by the warm manner and the delicious food

I recently visited Curry Leaf, an Indian restaurant, and had a great experience. I tried their Dosa Set and Chettinad Biryani, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The dosa was crisp, served with tasty chutneys and hot sambar, giving a real South Indian touch. The Chettinad Biryani was rich in spices, aromatic, and had tender, flavorful pieces of meat. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was nice too. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. Really good! Got 2 Sri Lankan dishes - Kothu Rotti (veg) & the Appam (lamb). Was asked if we wanted it Indian spicy, to which we said yes, and was veryyy spicy. Nimisha was lovely. Want to try the momo’s & other dishes soon, too.

I liked the food! Dosa was little small but was good! Please improve your service team, oh no sorry please increase your service team! There was only one person to maintain the whole tables including bar! Many people were waiting outside and were unattended! I personally came to the restaurant and waited for at least 15 minutes to get the menu and waited at least 1 hour for the starter to arrive and then again took time for main course! If you cater these things then it'll be good!

Absolutely loved every single thing we ate at Curry leaf. From starters to dessert, everything was nothing short of yumm. We cleaned the plates not leaving out even a single curry leaf :) Met the Chef personally and shared our appreciation. Super friendly service and the ambience was highlighted by Raja music :) felt like being back home in Tamil Nadu

Authentic dishes from a south Indian chef. I have travelled extensively in the region and can honestly say that this is the real deal! Dosa is crunchy, biryani is spiced just right and the payasam was the perfect finisher :) I’ll definitely be coming back.

We ordered Onam Sadya takeway from Curry leaf yesterday. Every dish was bursting with flavour and felt just like home♥️ The taste was very authentic and we were transported To Kerala! The prices are also very reasonable. Kudos to the entire team of Curry leaf! We’ll be back for sure😄

I would give 10/10 for service and food. Chef Anand is so good with the food preparation. We had a chat with him after our meal. It was nice talking to him. Serving was good. I would highly recommend their Parotta and pitchupotta kozhi😇 waiting to try their weekend special.. soon.

As a Tamilian, it’s so hard to find authentic South Indian cuisine in Germany but Curry leaf is an answered prayer. Absolutely loved the Varutha chicken curry with flaky Parotta. Devoured every single bite. Chef Anand is very talented. Best wishes to him and the entire Curry leaf team ❤️❤️

Great selection of lesser-known South Indian dishes and interesting breakfast options. Service was excellent. The atmosphere could use a bit of improvement, but overall a decent spot for something different.

I had Idli with with chicken curry. It was amazing. Idli was made on time like fresh cooked Idli and the Chandi it was remember my grand mother's hand made Chadni in my childhoods. Finally I found the great Indian restaurant in Berlin after a lot of research.

Would never go again. Definitely not worth paying €11.50 for four dry idlis with insufficient chutney and sambar that didn’t even taste good. I had also tried the parotta with chicken gravy, which was overly salty, sour, and greasy, and I couldn’t eat it either.

We had parotta with chicken. Both were salty and oily. Idli was very dry, almost felt like it was cooked the previous day. Finally, we had kesari, which was tasteless. It's just an Instagram hyped place. Highy Overrated. Horrible South Indian food

If you are a South Indian looking for a restaurant where you can have some of our spicy dishes. I would definitely recommend Curry leaf. Particularly myself and my wife really loved monicka chicken. Rest of the dishes were also really nice.

This was a second visit we went to the Curry leaf the taste was very authentic the staff was really friendly and very informative about the dishes this makes us very easy to choose a dishes every time we go there and the chef in fact came out of his kitchen to enquire about the taste with the guests and it was really nice experience and the authentic taste. We had ordered Thokku Biriyani, Chicken momo, Dum parota and Kalaki this time and it was soo amazing with tender chicken. Price is really less compared to other restaurants.

Must try South Indian restaurant in Berlin .. We have tried Bhai veetu virundhu and it was awesome 😎.. Especially the dum biryani, kola urundai and payasam(prini) was tasty. Try out the weekend specials.

The team is very Nice and friendly I really recommend the food it is tasty and fresh !! The food is cooked very fresh! And they do things also if you special requests about food for example I have Diabetes so they helped me out so I can eat in the place without any problem . The owner is very friendly !! Food was delicious. I had the Nepal Haus Lamm menu. Very friendly service. Too bad it was so quiet. It was a Wednesday night, maybe that's a difficult night. The restaurant deserves more guests.
