Worst butter chicken I had in my life.. Had high hopes because of the reviews, but unfortunately can‘t recommend it..

I ordered one Lappa porotta in tamil style and it was really delicious. I would highly recommend the restaurant and the food to my friends and college mates. The service was also very good. I really appreciate their food making and service.

I would give 10/10 for service and food. Chef Anand is so good with the food preparation. We had a chat with him after our meal. It was nice talking to him. Serving was good. I would highly recommend their Parotta and pitchupotta kozhi😇 waiting to try their weekend special.. soon.

As a Tamilian, it’s so hard to find authentic South Indian cuisine in Germany but Curry leaf is an answered prayer. Absolutely loved the Varutha chicken curry with flaky Parotta. Devoured every single bite. Chef Anand is very talented. Best wishes to him and the entire Curry leaf team ❤️❤️

Great selection of lesser-known South Indian dishes and interesting breakfast options. Service was excellent. The atmosphere could use a bit of improvement, but overall a decent spot for something different.

I had Idli with with chicken curry. It was amazing. Idli was made on time like fresh cooked Idli and the Chandi it was remember my grand mother's hand made Chadni in my childhoods. Finally I found the great Indian restaurant in Berlin after a lot of research.

Would never go again. Definitely not worth paying €11.50 for four dry idlis with insufficient chutney and sambar that didn’t even taste good. I had also tried the parotta with chicken gravy, which was overly salty, sour, and greasy, and I couldn’t eat it either.

Idly is beautiful and delicious. Great place for breakfast, or anytime

We had parotta with chicken. Both were salty and oily. Idli was very dry, almost felt like it was cooked the previous day. Finally, we had kesari, which was tasteless. It's just an Instagram hyped place. Highy Overrated. Horrible South Indian food

If you are a South Indian looking for a restaurant where you can have some of our spicy dishes. I would definitely recommend Curry leaf. Particularly myself and my wife really loved monicka chicken. Rest of the dishes were also really nice.

This was a second visit we went to the Curry leaf the taste was very authentic the staff was really friendly and very informative about the dishes this makes us very easy to choose a dishes every time we go there and the chef in fact came out of his kitchen to enquire about the taste with the guests and it was really nice experience and the authentic taste. We had ordered Thokku Biriyani, Chicken momo, Dum parota and Kalaki this time and it was soo amazing with tender chicken. Price is really less compared to other restaurants.

Must try South Indian restaurant in Berlin .. We have tried Bhai veetu virundhu and it was awesome 😎.. Especially the dum biryani, kola urundai and payasam(prini) was tasty. Try out the weekend specials.

Really good restaurant with authentic South Indian food. The briyani was so so so good. They also have Palm Toddy. The staff were so kind and friendly, and I felt very welcome. They also have special menus over the weekend which I will come back for. The portion sizes were so big too and the food was affordable. Chef Anand personally made sure we were well fed and happy. He is truly special.

The team is very Nice and friendly I really recommend the food it is tasty and fresh !! The food is cooked very fresh! And they do things also if you special requests about food for example I have Diabetes so they helped me out so I can eat in the place without any problem . The owner is very friendly !! I would recommend the place the prices are very fair and the food is tasty !

Food was delicious. I had the Nepal Haus Lamm menu. Very friendly service. Too bad it was so quiet. It was a Wednesday night, maybe that's a difficult night. The restaurant deserves more guests.

Everything new here! But always worth recommending! Delicious mango lassi! Very pleasant basic spiciness for lamb. There's still room for improvement when it comes to the salad. Warm service!

An amazing place if you are craving for Indian and Nepalese cuisine. I had idiyappam with lamm kartofel curry and thayir sadam - both were delicious. To top it, the staff very friendly and warm which made the experience much more lovely.

Today I had to say goodbye to a well-known traditional name: From May 1st, 2025, the Nepal House will operate under the name “Curry Leaf”. Reassuringly, this is not because of new management. The name has been changed because in addition to Nepalese cuisine, that from Sri Lanka and South India has also been offered for some time now. From then on the restaurant also has its own website. Today I discovered a dessert on the weekly changing daily menu that surprised me very positively: Paprika Halwa. If you would like to try something new and unusual, you should definitely try it when it is offered again! Not what you would expect or imagine. Otherwise: A visually and personally friendly restaurant with very tasty food. Communication is best in English.

Today we had a delicious dinner at the Nepal House and were served very friendly. There is Indian, Nepalese and Sri Lankan food. We were even allowed to taste the dessert before ordering! We would love to come back on our next trip to Berlin!

Seriously, haven't been eating so well for a good while now! The service Hase been attentive and very charming though we came 20 min bevore closing time. But most worth a mention was the overly delicious food! Please try any eggplant curry, it ll sweap you if your feet! If not, lets discuss! Greetings and big respect to the chef! Food is very good. Unfortunately the service wasn't so good this time. The waitress didn't speak any German and simply chatted to us in English without asking if we even spoke English. Unfortunately, food took a long time to arrive. When it's busy it's understandable, but there were only 4 other tables occupied.

01/19/2025/7:00 p.m. A small and simple restaurant in Kreuzberg that offers Nepalese, Indian and Sri Lankan dishes. The lentil soup (€4.9) was classic and delicious. The momos (€10.9) were ok. The highlight was the Idiyappam with chicken. Since we were completely unfamiliar with Sri Lankan cuisine, we were able to fill in some gaps with the help of the waiter, who asked the kitchen a few times. Matching: Jogi beer (€4).

as I am travel , I was so tempted to eat MoMO , it was 3 degrees in berlin. Tried Jhol mOmo in Nepal Haus , no words to describe, just amazing. Waiter was outstanding on his job , running the restaurant alone and fulfilling all guest needs, Thank you for service . thank you chefs for making amazing dinner .. Pls try MOMO if you are in berlin .

Momo filled with chicken is very delicious. MOJITO You must try . The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasing and the hospitality is highly commendable. Definitely will go next time for more taste .

The service is friendly. The food is not to my taste. Unfortunately they don't do cocktails make them, they are absolutely inedible. I had to pay in full for my cocktail even though I only tried two small sips. Really a shame!

I found the service extremely friendly and pleasant and the food delicious and also seemed healthy. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back :) There was also quick information about allergenic ingredients, which unfortunately is not always a given. Soy is probably not used in the entire kitchen.

Fantastic traditional Nepali food with a Thakali flare. We started with momos, a special deer meat momo was particularly memorable as I am not a fan of deer meat, but this is a great way to enjoy venison. Main course was traditional Nepali Dahl Bhat, served on a plate with a variety of pickles and vegetables. I particularly enjoyed the eggplant and the potato salad. The sheep curry was exquisite, the meat very delicate and filled with curry flavor. Our host, Kiren, was fantastic and extremely professional. The meal perfectly paced, giving plenty of time to enjoy each set of momo dishes before the main course. Extra kudos for this as the restaurant was filling up and he was managing all the tables by himself. Will definitely eat here again when I’m in Berlin. If you live in Berlin definitely put Thakali Haus on your list of restaurants, you won’t be disappointed.

Srilankan restaurant by nature. Food taste is good, sometimes felt gravy quantity can be a bit more. Likes : Kothu Parotta/ Roti, idiyappam.
