No idea about the rooms, we only ate... Top recommendation! The food and service were amazing! The ambiance was wow!! It's very rural and you might even encounter hedgehogs and deer... But it's 100% worth it! Definitely on the list for my next visit to Rügen!

Lovingly designed, there's always something new and exciting to discover in every corner. It's remarkably tidy and incredibly clean. So many details that you keep rediscovering. Even if you spend an hour in one room, new aspects keep revealing themselves. Even the restroom doors are so ingenious that you have to stop and stare in amazement. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, the food delicious. A kind word that didn't seem forced. A few explanations about the food and drinks, always with a smile. We felt very comfortable from the very first minute. This was our second time here – and it certainly won't be the last.

We only visited the restaurant and therefore cannot comment on the rooms. The restaurant is beautifully and imaginatively decorated. It truly feels like an evening with Captain Nemo, and you almost expect him to start playing his organ at any moment. The food was truly excellent; we had the suckling pig and the fish platter, which was served by very attentive and courteous staff and made our evening perfect. The price and quality are definitely right here. I highly recommend using a GPS for getting here, as the location is quite remote, but the views are beautiful, and it's the perfect place for those seeking a secluded retreat. CAUTION! The bridge directly in front of the hotel has a nasty bump when you drive over it. Drive very slowly here...

Our visit to Restaurant Nautilus was a real highlight! From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the unique and stylish interior – every detail is crafted with great care, creating a truly cozy atmosphere. The food was absolutely outstanding: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It's immediately apparent that they use high-quality ingredients and that the kitchen places great emphasis on excellence. The service was friendly, attentive, yet pleasantly unobtrusive. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable evening – I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

Unfortunately, a very poor performance at Nautilus today. The chicken wasn't cooked through properly – that can happen and isn't a big deal. We informed the waiter, and the chicken was cooked again. When the chicken returned to our table, we discovered more raw bits. We also noticed that the broccoli florets were partially moldy. This is absolutely unacceptable! And instead of offering us a complimentary drink, dessert, or something similar, they gave us a disapproving look when we left "only" a €10 tip. Definitely not recommended!

We went there with our children because we really liked the submarine theme. It's a rather unusual restaurant. The food is tasty, the menu is concise, but it's very expensive. The style is nice, but I had hoped for a bit more flair in this unusual setting.

The Nautilus – a highlight not only in my childhood – is a restaurant (the subject of this review) that is an impressively detailed replica of the original. Stepping through the massive bulkhead 😉 transported us into the world of Captain Nemo. A wonderful atmosphere, into which you immediately immerse yourself, is complemented by the ever-friendly and attentive crew, who make guests feel welcome. Hello, we just spent 10 days in a holiday home, it was wonderful. We booked breakfast as well, because we knew from our last stay that it was delicious. The jam was a highlight. We spent a week at the beautiful Hotel Nautilus in Putbus/Neukamp. We had a Captain's Suite with a view of the Bodden. A dream. The suite, measuring 38 square meters, was beautifully appointed. Everything was very clean and lovingly decorated. On the first day, we had a small problem with the plug in the sink. We let them know, and by the time we returned from breakfast, everything had already been fixed. Breakfast was plentiful, and every day there was a slightly different selection. The staff were all friendly and attentive. They immediately noticed that we preferred a latte macchiato, and we got one every day. We ate in the restaurant four evenings. You just have to see it from the inside. Every detail is recreated from the Nautilus submarine. Simply amazing. Here, too, the staff were all super friendly and attentive. And the food was simply fantastic. Requests for changes were noted and implemented immediately and without complaint. Reservations are definitely recommended, as otherwise you might end up making the trip for nothing. All in all, we were thrilled with our stay, and the value for money was excellent. We'll definitely be back, whether it's the hotel or the restaurant.

All four dishes were prepared with love and care. ❤️‍🔥 The dessert: a real dream! 🍰✨ I think the value for money is top-notch! 🔝 All in all, a wonderful evening – and on our 14th wedding anniversary! & because it was so great, the whole thing at the end of the vacation, we'll be back again. We stayed at the hotel last week and are still thrilled. The room, spread over two floors, is bright, welcoming, and has excellent amenities. The location is incredibly quiet. The hotel's breakfast is varied and plentiful. The restaurant...it's hard to describe; you have to see it. If you're familiar with the Nautilus from the film adaptation of Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, you'll see how much attention to detail went into the decor. And the food...simply delicious, the staff friendly and accommodating. What can I say? Go there and experience it for yourself.

We went for lunch, with a reservation, at the earliest possible time – 12:30 p.m. Our visit was off-season in October. We thought it would be a bit more expensive, but we're going to treat ourselves. The ambiance is fantastic! When you open the front door, you enter another world. You can't get enough of everything. It's so beautifully done. You really feel like you're in the Nautilus. All the guests take turns walking through the rooms with their phones and taking pictures. But it doesn't bother you, everyone does it ;-) So that everyone knows what it's all about, the film is playing in the background. It was very nice to see it again. The entire interior is perfectly designed. The cushioned benches are wonderfully comfortable. The staff are all very nice and friendly. You're greeted immediately and they constantly check on you to see if you want anything else and if everything is okay. The food portions are good. Not too small and not too big. We were all full and our plates were all empty. Above all, it tasted good. The lunch menu did NOT include the usual fare you'd normally get (schnitzel, for example). We really liked that, too. The value for money is good. It's a tiny bit more expensive, but nowhere near as much as we expected. We'll definitely be back sometime.

We visited the restaurant, which I remember from my youth when it first opened. It looks as if it's been freshly renovated and doesn't seem at all dusty after all this time. Here, you're immediately immersed in an adventure. I don't eat fish myself, but I can highly recommend the other dishes. Since we arrived quite a bit before our reservation, we're grateful that this wasn't a problem at all. We received wonderfully friendly service and had a truly wonderful evening.

Review: Hotel Nautilus, Putbus We booked a 38 m² suite with a lake view, including half board and a dog, directly on the hotel's website. Upon arrival, however, we were informed that only a suite with a courtyard view was available – this was the only option offered to us. Very disappointing. Half board – not really recommended: There is only a set 2-course menu. You can't choose the starter; it's set daily. For the main course, you can only choose between two dishes – like on a butter cruise to the Fichtel Mountains. If neither the starter nor the main course appeals to you, you're not getting anything. An employee with long blonde hair, as a dog owner, responded to questions about the limited menu and table selection in an extremely disrespectful and snippy manner and interrupted me several times during my questions. With her words: "Then we'll just cancel your half-board and you can eat whatever you want..." the conversation ended, and we were allowed to order and pay a la carte. Furthermore, on two consecutive days, the breakfast tables were sticky, as if they hadn't been properly cleaned for days. Traveling with a dog: Those traveling with a dog must have breakfast in a separate room, away from all other guests – and in the dark, because, according to reception, "the boss wants it that way." Only after we insisted on light were we allowed to see what we were eating. Positive: The breakfast buffet and our room were otherwise good, and the hotel's submarine ambiance is interesting. Negative: The staff doesn't seem particularly friendly and reacts rather irritably to inquiries. The buildings could also use a fresh coat of paint – everything seems a bit dated. As previously mentioned, we ultimately canceled the half-board option and went to other restaurants on Rügen, where we were able to freely choose our meals without any hassle with the staff or arguments. Conclusion: We would not book a stay here again due to our negative experience with the blonde lady working there, the fact that we were relegated to an adjoining room with our dog, and the incorrect room assignment.

I was on vacation, which is a shame I live so far away. The food was absolutely excellent, in a breathtaking setting. It's truly a must-see. I reserved a table online, which was very easy to handle and definitely worth doing, as it's very popular. So, I 1000% recommend it.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but the restaurant is worth seeing, and the service and selection of food and wine are excellent. Even if you only order one main course, you'll be full if you're a big eater. That's not the case everywhere in the south of Rügen. The "submarine" theme is excellently presented. The film was playing while we were there, which kept the children especially entertained. As soon as we're in the area again, a visit to the Nautilus is a must!

The tip came from our landlady; it's in a remote location in Neukamp, ​​at the end of Putbus. I can only speak about the restaurant. Lovely interior; we sat at the bar. The food was very good, from appetizer to dessert, except for the fried potatoes, but no one except Lafer has ever cooked them really well in a restaurant. (Especially on the Baltic Sea.
