Leckeres Essen zu vernünftigen Preisen. Guter Mittagstisch mit Suppe od.Salat €9.5 Absolut empfehlenswert. Essen an der Theke bestellen u. Auch dort abholen. NUR BARZAHLUNG

Selbstbedienung ist angesagt. Essen kommt aber zügig aus der Küche. Lecker und ansprechend präsentiert. Der Gastraum ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und Deko etwas veraltet hier könnte mal aufgehübscht werden. Schöne grosse Terrasse. Wir waren an einem heißen Tag dort da hätten wir uns gewünscht das bereits die Sonnenschirme geöffnet sind. Ist einladender im Schatten zu sitzen.

Waren heute zum ersten Mal im Naturfreunde Haus und waren voll und ganz begeistert. Es wird noch alles frisch zubereitet in der Küche keine TK Schnitzel hier wird noch selbst Paniert was man Schmeckt. Werden dieses lokal noch öfters besuchen und ein Lob an die Leitung und in die Küche!

Typische Hausmannskost eines Ausflugslokals (Schnitzel und Co) mit Selbstbedienung, sehr leckere Apfelschorle und man scheint frisch zu kochen. Nur der Ketchup wird sehr spärlich verteilt und mehr als ein Tütchen muss direkt bezahlt werden. Die Einrichtung ist eher alt und einfach aber gepflegt und man legt Wert auf Dekoration. Das Essen selbst ist insgesamt zu empfehlen, aber die Dame an der Theke ist leider recht unfreundlich und wirkt lustlos. Sie verzieht keine Miene, kein "tschüss " (auch wenn man direkt an ihr vorbei geht) und auch sonst kaum eine Beachtung der Gäste. Wer in der Nähe ist und Appetit verspürt, sollte sich davon aber nicht abschrecken lassen und das Naturfreundehaus ausprobieren.

Viel Platz zum Essen. Es gibt die Möglichkeit draußen oder drinnen zu essen. Leider, Selbstbedienung! Zudem muss man die ganzen Treppen runder und wieder hoch um aufs WC zu gehen.

Leider kein überzeugender Besuch. Das Personal wirkte müde und wenig engagiert, das Essen hat uns geschmacklich nicht gefallen. Dass ausschließlich Barzahlung akzeptiert wird, empfinde ich heutzutage als nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Daher können wir das Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Sehr gutes Essen, große Karte und schöne Terrasse

Das Naturfreundehaus liegt etwas außerhalb von Vaihingen, ist aber gut erreichbar und hat viele Parkplätze. Auch ideal als Startpunkt für Wanderungen oder Fahrrad – Touren. Im Lokal gibt es ungefähr 100 Sitzplätze, ein Nebenzimmer und 40 Sitzplätze auf der Terrasse im Grünen. Die meisten der angebotenen Speisen sind aus der regionalen Küche, werden frisch zubereitet und sind sehr schmackhaft mit ordentlicher Portionsgrösse zu einem fairen Preis . Ebenso gibt es einige Desserts und verschiedene Kuchen zur Auswahl. Es gibt keine Bedienung, man erhält einen Chip und wird so informiert, wenn die Speisen zubereitet sind und man das Essen an der Theke abholen kann. Das ist aber kein Problem und leicht erledigt. Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung, und man hat sich wohl gefühlt.

Leider muss ich meine Rezension für das Naturfreundehaus revidieren. Dienstag Abend 19 Uhr Lokal dunkel nur die Theke und die Tische davor beleuchtet. Kein einziger Gast! Ich bestelle Spargel und erhalte dann bereits nach 5 Minuten Spargel im flädle überbacken. 1 Spargel schlecht geschält, 2. Spargel schlecht geschält. Ich reklamiere dies und erhalte die Antwort das kann nicht sein! Der Spargel kommt geschält und sie machen ihn nur warm. Es ärgert mich aber mehr dass ich mich rechtfertigen muss dass der Spargel nicht essbar ist. Mein ersatzessen kommt mit der Bemerkung ich hoffe dass dies ihnen jetzt schmeckt. Danach muss ich mich von der Bedienung erklären lassen dass mit dem ersatzessen das Problem gelöst ist. Ich hatte darauf keine Lust mehr in diesem unfreundlichem Ambiente mich weiter aufzuhalten. Was ist hier passiert? Unfreundliche Bedienung, leeres Lokal und Essen schmeckt nicht? Mai 2026 Das naturfreundehaus Vaihingen hat eine gute Küche, Selbstbedienung und genügend Platze im Lokal. Das Ambiente ist verbesserungsfähig. Zu einem Stammtisch mit einer großen Portion Schnitzel immer ein guter Anlauf Punkt. Jetzt vielleicht wieder mehr wenn man auch die Terrasse nutzen kann.

Rustikale Hausmannskost in Selbstbedienung - nur Barzahlung möglich! Wir waren nach längerer Zeit mal wieder im Naturfreundehaus. Man fühlt sich im Jahrzehnte zurück versetzt. Der "Einstieg" zur Gaststätte geht nur über eine steile Treppe - nichts für Gehbehinderte und Rollstuhlfahrer. Dort oben angekommen, gibt es erst mal eine Reihe von Schildern: 1. Selbstbedienung 2. Keine Kartenzahlung Auf Nachfrage, ob ich mal einen Blick auf die Speisekarte werfen könne, kommt als Antwort: sehen Sie bitte auf die Tafeln am der Wand..... die Wahrheit ist: es gibt eine (!) Speisekarte - die hängt an der Wand und kann eingesehen werden.... Wenn man dieses Procedere erledigt hat, kann man an der Kasse vorab bestellen und nur bar bezahlen - bekommt dann einen elektronischen Buzzer, der unangenehm piepst, wenn das bestellte an der Theke abgeholt werden kann. Es nervt, da es ständig irgendwo laut piepst. Neuere Geräte rütteln nur und piepsen nicht... Ich holte das Essen am Tresen ab: schmeckte uns beiden gut. Bei den Pommes hatten wir das Gefühl, das das Frittier Fett nicht frisch war. Tische waren nicht abgewischt. Kostenlose Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Mein Tipp an den Betreiber: 1. Ihr Lokal ruft nach Renovierung 2. Bitte achten Sie mehr auf Sauberkeit 3. Freundliches Kassenpersonal kommt bei den Kunden gut an... Fazit: wer es rustikal wie früher mit Blick ins Grüne und Selbstbedienung mag ist dort gut aufgehoben.

The food was excellent!! And unique!! I had already imagined a Cordon Bleu when I was driving there, which the menu also offered was pork, but I saw that they were serving "real" Wiener Schnitzel. So I asked if I could have the veal Cordon Bleu. And it was no problem. The kitchen and staff said that whatever they had could be made!! Simply super friendly, helpful, and uncomplicated!! The meat was perfectly cooked, they didn't skimp on the cheese, and the fries were amazing!! A self-service restaurant with great service for its guests! Highly recommended!!!

The best restaurant for miles around! The food is a dream! Excellent value for money. My great-grandfather has eaten there, as has my grandpa. The whole family loves to come here for good food. We recently had a funeral with 48 people. The service was great; even though we arrived an hour early and there was only one server there, the drinks came super quickly. Many restaurants could learn a thing or two from this!!! We ordered a buffet, and it left nothing to be desired. I think not only were we happy, but also someone up there in heaven who was able to see the happy faces despite the special circumstances. Thank you so much to the entire team! You were able to put a smile on our faces despite this sad day 🙏

I only drank a shandy. And that was delicious. And what was on the menu sounded delicious too. The garden is beautiful :-) We will try it.

Nice restaurant with a large terrace

We come to the Nature Friends House regularly. The selection of the menu and the daily menu are extensive. The daily menus in particular are TOP in terms of quality and price👍 It is particularly pleasant to sit on the terrace. If you get there in time, you can get a parking space without any problems 👍 The Naturfreundehaus is a good address and highly recommended 😋.

Full of joy, we navigated our way to the Nature Friends House, which we had never known before. We were all really hungry and discovered the Naturfreundehaus nearby via a Google search. We sit out on the balcony with our four and a half year old son and our grandma. By the time I realized it was self-service, it was 2:05 p.m. I went to the counter to order, but had to wait 4 minutes because - I guess the boss - had to talk to an employee about when and who was working. When they were ready, it was 2:09 p.m. and they explained to me very rudely that there would only be food until 2:00 p.m. When I asked kindly whether there was something else like a sausage salad, I was told that this wasn't possible because things had to be prepared... Hospitality is a wonderful thing, but here we felt like uninvited troublemakers. The Katzenbacherhof was happy that we came. The Naturfreundehaus Vaihingen won't see us again!

The food is good, the location is clean. The lady at the counter is impossible though!! In a bad mood, slow and obviously annoyed!! Every time again!! Unfortunately, the playground is no longer as well maintained as it was in recent years when the (no longer existing) club took care of it.

A bit off the beaten track am I reading? Well, you can park your car right in front of it and take a digestive walk in the beautiful forest. The map is manageable, I read? Well, you have at least 15 dishes to choose from, desserts, cakes, daily specials, promotions, etc. and all at a very good price-performance ratio, the cuisine is down-to-earth, good, the quarter prices are not exorbitant, what more could you want? Worth visiting in summer and winter, everything is very cozy here. Top!!

I recently stayed at the Naturfreundehaus Vaihingen and am absolutely satisfied with the price-performance ratio. The food was excellent, with lots of home-made dishes, which I would particularly like to highlight as positive. There is a good selection of fresh, tasty dishes that are lovingly prepared. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the toilets were also very clean, which contributed to a pleasant stay. The large meadow is particularly beautiful, where children can play while you can enjoy the quiet, relaxed location. All in all, a clear recommendation for families and those looking for relaxation!

Best little gem near Patch. Host a lunch or going away or pre dev event here. You can walk the 12-15 min and it’s a really nice walk to a super nice little spot. They don’t speak much English but enough people come there you can point and communicate. Highly recommend.

Self-service ❗The food and drinks are ordered and paid for. You can then take the drinks with you to your table. You get a beeper for food. When the food is ready, the beeper beeps and you have to pick it up yourself. Our group (9 people) enjoyed the food 😀 It's a nature lovers' house where you can eat very well, with your own help. The prices were okay 😃 The only thing that bothered me was that another person constantly had to jump up from us to get his food. I found that very uncomfortable. If we wanted another drink or dessert, the same game all over again❗I would find it more pleasant if the food and drinks were served. But that's my opinion 🤷

Schon lange wurde ich nicht mehr so sensationell positiv überrascht. Untergebracht in einem Gebäude das an den Charme zwischen Campingplatz Verwaltung und Freibad Eingang der 90er erinnert überzeugt Günter gleich durch seine ganz eigene Art. Goldig steht er hinter der Theke, empfängt jeden Gast persönlich und weiß über das Essen, die Region und andere kleine Anekdoten zu berichten. Die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen, ist bodenständig mit einem wundervollen Touch moderne. Extrawünsche werden gern und schnell erfüllt. Für uns war der spontane Besuch das highlight in der Region.

It's a shame that there is no service at the table and some of the cosiness is lost. However, this is made up for by very tasty food at a more than fair price.

So I can't understand the negative reviews about the food, so far everything has been very good. If something doesn't taste good, you complain about it at the counter and it will definitely be replaced. But you don't give a stupid rating like inedible, show strength and write what was bad and above all always write the truth. I would also give it 6 stars.

The service was very unfriendly, nothing for a restaurant... the food is not recommended either... a disappointment for me... I've known the Naturfreundehaus since it existed but will only go there again when there's been a change of tenant... a disappointed guest...

Super nice location in the green, sometimes good food, but now often over-seasoned (too much of everything, including salt), depending on the service at the counter, from friendly to permanently very unfriendly and irritable. Rarely but it has happened, unannounced waiting time for food of over ONE hour. A little more friendliness, customer service and less spice could bring it back to its former glory.

Found by chance. Pretty terrace, nice location on the edge of the forest, delicious schnitzel with tasty breading. Tender meatballs and Maultaschen. Great spaetzle. Gladly again!

The food is very good and beautifully prepared. Price/performance fits. The rooms are lovingly decorated. But we will only go there on Wednesdays because the lady behind the counter is much nicer and friendlier than the one who works there the rest of the week.

We celebrated here with 80 people and were very satisfied. Everything went well, the planning went smoothly, the staff was very friendly, everything was relaxed and we were able to enjoy a lovely celebration.

Today we had a great evening at Naturfreunde and the food was unbeatably good. Best currywurst sauce I've eaten in a long time. Cordon bleu is unbeatable and there is no better one. Great value for money. Keep it up . I'll be back . 5 stars are not nearly enough.
