We went to this restaurant for the first time tonight, relying solely on the good reviews. And it was a complete success! We ordered four different dishes and several cocktails, and everything was absolutely delicious and very freshly prepared. The staff/owners were also extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. We will definitely be back! P.S.: The restaurant isn't very large – a reservation is certainly advisable.

We were only in Frankfurt for one night and were looking for a restaurant near our hotel, Villa Orange. Although Nakorn was pretty much full, the three of us managed to get a small table for two. The service and help with our selection were very friendly and competent. The food was delicious (Laab duck, papaya salad, curry, and a vegetarian dish). We'll definitely be back! P.S.: 2 chilies means spicy 🥲

My girlfriend and I happened to pass by Nakorn today and spontaneously decided to have dinner there. We both love Thai cuisine, but I haven't had such good vegetarian spring rolls, even in Thailand. We're really looking forward to the main course, but wanted to leave a review now before this impression is forgotten.

First of all, I'm not being neutral here. I loved the previous location and enjoyed Chaddy's Cocktails at Maikai (Zoo and Berger Strasse) 20 years ago. Here at Nakorn, both come together. Authentic, fresh Thai cuisine, super friendly service, and cool drinks. In the pretty little garden, you'd never notice that you're sitting right on the bustling Friedberger Strasse. We always enjoy coming back.

Vorneweg gesagt: Ich bin hier nicht neutral. Ich habe den Vorgänger-Laden schon geliebt und Chaddy's Cocktails schon im Maikai (Zoo und Berger Strasse) vor 20 Jahren genossen. Hier im Nakorn trifft Beides zusammen. Authentische frische Thai Küche, super nicer Service und coole Drinks. Im hübschen kleinen Gärtchen merkt man gar nicht, dass man direkt an der hektischen Friedberger sitzt. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder.

People! Nakorn is truly the best Thai restaurant anywhere. Not only are they the best hosts you can imagine, but the food is simply a dream. Explosions of flavor: Number 17 (soup with garlic oil) Number 38 with tofu: absolutely amazing! Number 56 with baked chicken All Thai specialties with sea bream - absolutely amazing! Especially the hot pot when you're feeling under the weather, very, very tasty and healthy. Papaya salad is fresh and crunchy! Thai iced tea lemon tastes even better than at other Thai restaurants. I would say: please try the menu ❤️

The food has always tasted good, it has always been hot and the sizes of the dishes have been very good. The team does everything to ensure that it is nice for the guests and that every guest gets what they want. A recommendation for anyone who likes a small restaurant and a family atmosphere.

During a recent weekend trip to Frankfurt we went with a larger group to Nakorn Thai. I don't often go to Thai restaurants and when I do I usually just eat Pad Thai. Not so this time! I had an awesome fruity curry (Gaeng Kua) with duck and it was delicious! I don't enjoy overly hot meals and so picked a mild one and it was just perfect. Most of the group has already been here before and went with fried noodles with red curry (Nakorn Thai Mae Mau) and also loved it. Combined with the cozy atmosphere and extremely friendly and quick service it was just a great visit. We also considered going back the next day but the servings were just too large for two days in a row 😄 When I get back to Frankfurt some time in the future, Nakorn Thai will be very high on my list!

Centrally located with a beautifully designed outdoor area, the usual Thai dishes (gluten-free) are served here. The service was attentive and friendly. The furnishings are typically Thai and a bit older. The food is good and the vegetables are nice and crunchy and tasty. The main road might be a bit annoying outside.

What is on the card cannot be found in the court. Or only partially. That's what we get onions for, and all the vegetables come out of the bag. Asked for red curry, and although I was promised to ask in the kitchen, the plate was simply brought with a different sauce. There was also something special: 2 beautiful long hairs. DEFINITELY NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!!! The price of €9 is probably crucial for the quality

I had dinner here again yesterday and was very impressed. The service was extremely friendly and the food was very tasty. If you complain about portions that are too small, it would be better to take advantage of all you can eat offers. The portions were very large and the price-performance ratio was reasonable.

Sensational Thai right on Friedberger Platz. The food (we had number 36) was outstanding, the spring rolls for starters were a great starter, and when the weather is nice the outdoor area is really perfect! The service is also particularly outstanding. Everyone is very attentive and nice, and makes the stay super relaxing. Overall a 5/5 - sensational service, delicious food, and great outdoor area.

A bit inconspicuous from the outside, but the food and service were perfect! We had the papaya salad, the shrimp in the fire pot and the sea bream with curry - it was incredibly good! On top of that, the service was extremely friendly and accommodating. We'll be back 🫶🏼

We spontaneously got a table and were greeted in a very friendly manner. In general the service was very nice and attentive. The food was really, really good. Perfectly seasoned, large portions and reasonably priced. I had a vegetarian curry with tofu and my friend had a curry with beef (numbers 48 and 49). We can definitely recommend this. It wasn't the last time we were there.

Super friendly service and also warm atmosphere, the food tastes amazing and authentic. You can also ask for the spicy level you want. Moreover a variety of cocktails is interesting my favorite one is Pina Colada. After the food and drink there is also desert. I really recommend the Roti it’s crispy and sweet.

Went there for the first time today looking for a new favorite Thai. Hit! Everything was right here. Authentic ingredients are used such as Thai eggplant. The service is friendly and the price/performance ratio is optimal. In contrast to other “noble” Thai restaurants that have been in Frankfurt for a long time. We would be happy to come back.

We were really pleasantly surprised as we hadn't hoped for much. However, the food was really great and you can sit outside relatively nicely and in a secluded area. I really highly recommend it, again at any time👍👌

small, authentic and very good Thai restaurant! The glass noodle salad starter was very tasty and fresh. For the main courses, the noodle soup with chicken was very well cooked and delicious. The beef dish was also delicious. Dessert not too sweet, simply delicious! Cocktails just as good, only the Mai Thai is better. Overall, the price is really cheap for the quality, cocktails around 7 euros, starters around 10 euros and main courses around 15 euros. There's nothing you can say. The location is small, there are only 4 tables, so reservations are recommended.

Zum ersten Mal hier gewesen, bin total begeistert. Speisekarte klein aber fein, authentische Thai Küche, zum Teil gut scharf aber essbar, kann Nummer 40 absolut empfehlen (eine Art breite, gerollte Reisbandnudeln). Einfach genial

We had to wait more than an hour for the food. They didn’t give us any heads-up that it would take longer. One table that ordered after us got their food about 30 minutes earlier. Food was ok, nothing out of the ordinary

Ich habe 2 Hauptgerichte und eine Vorspeise "to go" bestellt und abgeholt, Pad Thai mit Tofu, Nakorn Thai Mae Mau mit Tofu und Tau Hun Thod, preislich in Ordnung (11,50 Euro/je Hauptgericht). Das Ambiente ist nicht das Beste, das Essen war durchschnittlich. Zum Pad Thai wird anstelle einer Limette eine Zitrone gereicht, die Portion war nicht besonders groß, das andere Hauptgericht war geschmacklich gut, allerdings haben mich die Nudeln sehr verwundert, sahen aus wie italienische Weizennudeln. Es gab kein Sambal dazu, das Pad Thai war fad. Na ja, geht besser.

Für mich das beste Thai Restaurant in Frankfurt. Das ist aber auch kein Wunder, denn der Koch hat in den besten Hotels Bangkoks gearbeitet. Einige niedrige Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, liegt vermutlich daran das sie noch nie in Thailand waren, bzw. gar kein original Thai Essen kennen. Die meisten Thai Restaurants sind nämlich chinesisch angehaucht u. es kocht dort auch kein Thai. Hier ist alles authentisch, u. ich kann jedem nur empfehlen dies einmal zu probieren. Es lohnt sich definitiv! Auch für Sonderwünsche hat der Service immer ein offenes Ohr.

Mein absoluter Lieblings-Thai :) Das Essen schmeckt fabelhaft und die Inhaber sind super herzlich und aufgeschlossen. Der Service ist großartig. Liebe es hier!

Ich war mit meiner Freundin dort. Tipp kam aus der Adlerecke. Freundliches Personal haben wir angetroffen und ein leckeres thailändisches Menü verspeist. Wichtig für mich: glutenfrei. Schönes authentisches Ambiente wurde angetroffen mit garantierter Urlaubsstimmung. Weiter so !!!

Klassiche Thai-Gerichte mit unterschiedlicher Schärfe. Aussenbereich nicht bequem, eng und recht laut. Parkplatzsituation schwierig.

Jedes einzelne Gericht hat geschmacklich mehr als überzeugt. Nakorn Thai ist eines der besten oder vielleicht sogar das beste Thairestaurant in FFM :)
