I actually love this Thai restaurant; the food is really delicious. We've never had any problems there, but our last delivery, which cost over €100, only arrived halfway. Perhaps a new concept: "Half a meal for the full price" 😅 It's a shame, because the food is excellent, but the service and reliability of the delivery service desperately need to improve.

Best restaurant in Frankfurt; the food is delicious, the staff is super friendly and kind, the vibe is cool: lighting and music-volume allow one to enjoy the meal and comfortably talk within one’s group. Prices are great as well. We were a big group of 12 people celebrating my birthday and we had such a great time. I really want to thank you guys for making it possible 💛 thank you! Absolutely recommended.

Tonight, we had Gaeng Kiew Wan (green curry with chicken) again. Deliciously prepared and flavorful, with crunchy vegetables and perfectly seasoned – to go. Yes, I go there myself. I've ordered from here so many times and have always been satisfied. For the doubters among you: I've been to Thailand more than once in my life. So, when it comes to evaluating the cuisine and the business – and that's all this is about – I have to express my sincere praise. I can't comment on the restaurant itself or any changes over time. However, anyone who has had a negative taste experience – which should be taken seriously – but who clearly believes it was potentially attributable to one of the locusts (they're also called a delivery service) should take the time to identify it and report it. A lot of time is necessary. I, however, would gladly come back.

We dined inside the restaurant. The table was sticky, probably poorly and rarely cleaned. The waiters were very kind, so much so that they gave us English menus instead of German ones. The food was good and plentiful. The surprise was revealed at the register: the total was more than 20% higher than we had calculated!!! The cashier justified herself by saying that the prices on the English menu were out of date; I complained, but it was definitely not my fault or my responsibility. She wouldn't listen to reason. We will never return.

Absolutely delicious, but every now and then you get diarrhea…

The food is good, but if they tell you there will be a 20-minute wait on the phone, I think it's cheeky to have to wait another 25 minutes when you pick it up after 20 minutes.

Unfortunately, it's no longer what it once was. I used to really enjoy being a guest here, especially because of the consistently friendly and dedicated staff, whom I would like to continue to expressly praise. Unfortunately, the overall quality has noticeably declined. The decor now appears very neglected: In the seating area, some tables are even broken and only loosely held together with tape. The restroom was locked during my last visit, and the floor looked dirty and unkempt. The steps are visibly dirty and broken. The food this time also didn't taste great. After the meal, or rather the iced tea, an unpleasant bitter aftertaste remained. It's a shame; I used to be really enthusiastic. I really hope that more emphasis will be placed on quality and care here soon, because the potential and the great staff are definitely there.

Very slow service - I ordered a Pad Thai to eat in because I was in a bit of a rush and was guessing what might be ready quickly. I saw three other tables arrive and order after me and receive their food. I was waiting in total 20 minutes which isn’t awful but I find that not cool. I only got my food when I went to ask again, which always makes me uncertain if I was forgotten… Anyway the food was good when it arrived, so I’d recommend this place for takeaway, but not for the service.

I found the food inedible this time. The shrimp were very dry, the egg was fried black, and the rice noodles were more like water than a proper sauce. Truly disappointing. However, the service was very nice and friendly.

The food was oversalted, the rice tasted of nothing, and the vegetables were too dry. Poor value for money.

The outdoor seating is very pleasant. The food is good and inexpensive.

I really like the shop and order from there regularly. Most of the time, everything tastes great, but occasionally the food tastes completely different and is dripping with oil.

It's actually really delicious there! But if you order here, you might end up having to wait 2 (!) hours for your food! It's cold/lukewarm, of course! And that simply can't be right. Either the restaurant is doing something wrong (greedily taking too many orders) or the delivery service is doing it wrong!

I've been there several times now and had Pad Thai, my favorite dish. It tastes very good. Unfortunately, I find the service inattentive. For another drink or similar requests, you practically have to lie in wait to express your desire. That doesn't make for a pleasant experience. So far, I've always sat outside and would say it's a typical street restaurant, unfortunately very "cold." But as I said, I really enjoy the food.

I've been here twice now with a friend. We were there on Thursdays at 7 p.m. and managed to get a table both times, albeit one of the last available, which speaks volumes for Chi Chi Thai, as there's a certain demand even during the week. The staff served us quickly and friendly. After dinner, you're not asked to leave, but can continue chatting in peace. We enjoyed the food both times. However, there could be more dessert options (they only offer baked bananas with syrup and cream), and the drinks are quite expensive. A soda or a tea costs €4.90 each.

Really tasty red curry with chicken and vegetables. The dish I tried was cooked perfectly and with soul. I would say that this is very proper and tasty Thai cuisine. Nothing extra 👍 The inside of the establishment is cozy and cute, the staff is pleasant and friendly. I will definitely come back.

sorry, that doesn't work at all! Ordered via Uber eats, should take 35 minutes. After about an hour the cyclist is supposedly on his way with the delivery. then the order is suddenly canceled. corrosive,,! I'm angry and hungry. that has a double effect...never again!

Came here for dinner at around 7 pm. Outdoor seating was full; I opted to dine inside at the higher level. Plenty of seats inside. Service was great throughout, especially from the cashier. She was fluent in English while the other staff weren't. I was given an English menu as the menus on the table are in German. Ordering was abit tough as the lady taking my order could not speak or understand a word of English. Even pointing to the menu was barely understood but she wasn't rude. I got the Thai green curry with shrimp (comes with rice) and Thai ice tea. The green curry took awhile to come but it was very delicious and the shrimps were fresh and of a generous portion. The Thai ice tea was good too. Would def recommend coming here.

Great! The food was super tasty. Freshly prepared. With a whistle. Fried noodles with Gaenelen Cahews meat tofu (nr 90) Hammer. And a piece of lime next to the shrimp as a seasoning. Cool! Sweet and sour 515 was also really good. But 90 was the smarter one. We'll be back!

Ich habe lange Zeit im Frankfurter Nordend gewohnt und kenne Chi Chi Tai schon seit vielen Jahren ... die Qualität ist definitiv nicht immer gleich, sondern schwankt irgendwo zwischen 80 und 105 %. Aber selbst die 80 % haben mir sehr gut geschmeckt und meine Freude auf den nächsten Besuch nicht getrübt.

Taste perfect. We were very surprised that vegetarian dishes contain FISH sauce. When asked about the obvious contradiction, we were told "I'm just in service"... That's called highly unprofessional! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

We have been ordering via Uber eats or Lieferando for several years because we find the food very tasty. That's why there are 2 stars for which there should actually be 5 stars if it were about freshness and taste. We order there very regularly (this year alone 6 times, almost weekly), but unfortunately at least (!) every second time at least 1 dish is delivered. This means that the driver arrives with a dripping, completely soggy and torn bag and asks for Zewa so that he can clean his bag. We complained several times and also called ChiChi-Thai personally and reported this. It seems they have a problem with vacuuming. Because almost exclusively with the dish Gaeng Pak, the silver foil comes off the white food container or the food container tears. We did get the money back (when we complained), but if this happens regularly and one person in the family always receives a dish that hardly contains any sauce, and you also have all the grease and have to clean the stairwell, then a refund won't do you any good. Chi Chi Thai itself claims that there is no problem with them. Unfortunately, based on the volume of our orders, I can't believe that. We have been going through this for a long time now and in the past we no longer felt like constantly taking photos in order to get a refund. But after today's order with guests, the Gaeng Pak ran out again and the dish wasn't delivered for one of the guests, it's finally enough. We will now look for another Asian restaurant and have it delivered from there. It's a shame. And it's also a shame that they never took it seriously in the restaurant. Maybe more people will come forward with the same thing happening to them.

The food didn't overwhelm us at all. I had dinner here with a Thai person. What I always ask myself is, why can't you offer authentic Thai cuisine? Most Thai or Asian restaurants always change the ingredients because they think Europeans like it better. In our opinion this is not correct. Unfortunately for us it was disappointing.

Here you can get delicious food at reasonable prices. In summer you can sit outside. We were too cold indoors in the winter. Many people pick up their food.

On December 16, 2024, several dishes were ordered via Uber Eats for a total of just under €54.00. The food was packaged so poorly that the delivery man showed up at the door with soggy bags. I wanted to refuse acceptance, but the messenger refused. He assured me that only one of the packages was leaking and that he had checked it. In addition, Uber Eats would refund the purchase price without any problems. Turns out that was a blatant lie. On the way to the kitchen, a lot of sauce ended up on the floorboards and on my clothes. When unpacking the bags, it turned out that all the packaging was leaking and leaking. There was hardly any sauce left and the two soups were in a plastic bag outside of the inadequate packaging. Uber Eats rejected the complaint outright, a real juice shop. I then called the restaurant and complained. I was promised that they would call Uber Eats and issue a full refund. After more than an hour of nothing happening, I was promised again on the second call that it would finally be taken care of. I'm still waiting for that today, after 3 weeks. No more Uber Eats and certainly not Chichi Thai, who lie to your face without shame.

I'm sorry: the food really doesn't taste good and seems to be massively over-sweetened... There are much better Thai restaurants in the area.

I like the simplicity of this place and how quick and easy the service is. After eating there for the first time in 2022, we keep coming back here and the quality of the food is always OK and the taste is good. For such low prices, I think the price-performance ratio is very good.

Waiter asked someone to come into the restaurant and not sit outside because of the noise at 9 p.m. There was a techno party going on in front of a wine bar 50m away.

The food was very good! We had the green curry as well as the fried egg noodles with beef. Very good quality and the service was also great! Food came relatively quickly.

We have been ordering there for years. The food is good so far - but: EVERY TIME I get something different than what I ordered! So I would strongly recommend always checking this... it's really, really annoying.

The fried goose is very good, I crave it every time I come to Frankfurt 😄 Staff is also nice and the street, near the japanese garden, is a must see in the city. Love love love ♥️

The Bee Restaurant (snack bar) in no other restaurant on Bergerstr are so many bees bothering you as here! Apparently they don't understand that they only attract more bees with their traps. All the other restaurants that don't do this nonsense have peace and quiet. Only at CHI CHI Thai are you bothered by the bees. It's totally counterproductive but the owners don't seem to have the intelligence to understand. We don't eat there anymore.

Whenever I'm in the area, I always like to eat there. In my opinion, the quality hasn't changed much in the last few years: it's still good and the price is completely reasonable. Bay soon.

The Chi Chi Thai in Frankfurt is definitely worth a visit. The food tasted excellent, the quantity was very good and the price was ok. Unfortunately, our visit to the restaurant was accompanied by a light cloud of Sanifar scent from the toilet area, hence only 4 stars. The restaurant is decorated very minimalistically, not my taste, but it was extremely clean! (Possible reason for the smell)

Unfortunately it has waned recently. Portions smaller and not as tasty as a few months ago

The restaurant has a few good dishes on the menu, especially the crispy breadings are well done. However, there are even more authentic Thai restaurants in Frankfurt.

The food is too sweet to be called as thaifood, if u want to find something authentic, do not come.

I found the waiter impossible. The laab was dry and the roasted rice was missing. 5 years ago I thought the dish was great. A pity

Lots of choice, good food and friendly staff. Especially in good weather, the location of this small restaurant facing the park at the beginning of the renowned Berger Straße and the outdoor tables make it an excellent choice for an outdoor lunch break.

Really really tasty food ! We enjoyed some vegeterian curries and spring rolls and everything was great. The service war very efficient and friendly. The prices are also good for Frankfurt! Will definitely come back :)

Dishes are OK, unfortunately oversweetened and salted. Service is the only highlight. Thai ice is a sweet peach tea and is offered as a Thaii ice tea.... FyI Thai Tea is is made from strongly-brewed black tea, often spiced with ingredients such as star anise, crushed tamarind, cardamom, and occasionally others as well (often making this beverage a favorite among masala chai tea fans). This brew is then sweetened with sugar and sweetened condensed milk, and served over ice. Putting a single use straw in every drink is way past due option to be sustainable.

It's very nice to sit in and the food is also very tasty. It's a rather small but perfectly adequate menu. The only thing I missed was the Thai Iced Tea with milk. Otherwise very good value for money

Delicious. Very cheap, and super clean bathroom! The only tip: maybe add photos to the menu? Even a barcode to a PDF on the homepage with some photos (which would be more cost-effective) would help! You really are spoiled for choice. Otherwise I really had a great evening.

Due to work, I frequented this place often. Overall, the food was okay, but the noodles tended to be overly salty at times, especially the noodle soups, which were consistently too salty to enjoy.

The restaurant gets 3.5 out of 5 stars from me. Price performance is good. A typical Berger Street restaurant. Food tasted good and the staff were friendly. Card payment is possible. Vegetables and rice were freshly prepared. The only criticism I have is that the coconut curry sauce was unfortunately not warm. I paid a total of 35 euros for 2 drinks and 2 main courses.

I usually order to pick up and I'm very happy with the food, the food is delicious and you get full. Today, however, was the first time I ate there. When I was ordering, the waiter made a stupid comment. Then the food came and I got a dish that I hadn't ordered. Instead of apologizing, the waiter tried to justify himself by saying that he would say what he would write down (he didn't) and that you could see what he wrote down on his note would have. The right dish came very quickly, but when it was brought the waiter couldn't resist making another stupid comment. When paying, the waiter put the receipt on the table and first said the wrong amount and then typed it incorrectly into the card reader. The food was tasty but the service was terrible.

Jedes einzelne Mal, wenn man bestellt, wird etwas Falsches oder Unvollständiges geliefert. Ich habe dem ganzen über ca. 6 Monate verteilt 5 mal eine Chance gegeben. Es ist wirklich frech und definitiv die Regel! Gerade wieder ein Curry mit Hühnchen bestellt, in dem komplett das Hühnchen gefehlt hat. Abgerechnet wurde aber natürlich mit. Ein Kunde weniger.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal aufgrund einer Empfehlung im Chi Chi Thai und uns wurde nicht zu viel versprochen. Schönes und vor allem sauberes Ambiente und ein zuvorkommender Service. Die Portionsgrößen sind mehr als ausreichend... für mich kaum zu schaffen. Auch geschmacklich waren unsere bestellten Speisen top.👍🏼 Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Für ein schnelles Mittagessen bestens geeignet, drinnen wie draußen. Ich war längere Zeit nicht dort, denn was die Qualität des Essens betrifft: Sie ist nicht gleichbleibend. Vielleicht kochen verschiedene Leute. Ich hatte gebratenen Reis - einmal war wenig, einmal ausreichend Fleisch drin. Die Portionen sind manchmal größer, manchmal kleiner. Viel Betrieb mit Lieferservice. Die Räder stehen meist kreuz und quer vor dem Eingang. Sehr netter Service - immer.

The portion sizes are inconsistent but the food is good. For example, the spring rolls are smaller than my (small) fingers. EUR 6 for 6 rolls and there was virtually no filling. What a joke. However their curries are very good.
