MY Gemüse Döner in Düsseldorf

I usually ate a kebab at this shop once a week. What happened in November that suddenly there was so little meat and vegetables available?

By far the BEST VEGETARIAN DONER I've ever eaten. The doner with grilled vegetables and seitan is truly unbeatable. Unfortunately, I no longer live in Düsseldorf, but I'll definitely be visiting the city again for the doner!

Vegan döner is awesome! You don't need one with meat anymore.

I ordered a dürüm without tomatoes and fries with mayo to go. I received it with tomatoes but without mayo... The food was slightly above average, but two instances of inattention are too many.

Great döner, no question. 👍 But throwing away food that wasn't even fully cooked just because it was a little crispy is unacceptable. Just think about how many people are starving, and that's just in Düsseldorf. A little tip for the homeless people in Bilk: how about preparing the food and giving it to them? You've got the money anyway. Think of your fellow human beings; otherwise, this world won't change.

For us, this is the best kebab in Düsseldorf. We now live in Golzheim and are happy to drive to Bilk just for this kebab! The staff is super friendly, the food is excellent, and the waiters are usually very cheerful and fun. Thank you!

Typical standard kebab, nothing special. Unfortunately, though, you can sometimes eat out of necessity.

Very nice, the kebabs are a decent size, the prices are reasonable (kebabs cost a fortune everywhere these days), and above all, they're very tasty. I highly recommend TAT.

Unfortunately, it wasn't what we expected. It's very warm when you enter the shop, so I recommend waiting outside. The dishes are edible, but for the price, they're absolutely nothing special. It's worth a visit to pass the time while waiting at the S-Bahn station; otherwise, go somewhere else.

So far, I've always been pleasantly surprised. Although I've tried several shops in and around Düsseldorf, I can always expect and receive excellent quality, taste, and friendly service here. I don't have to think twice if I'm in the mood for a kebab nearby.

I went there with my girlfriend, and we both tried the seitan doner kebab. The price, at €7.50, was perfectly reasonable. The seitan meat itself was really tasty – well-seasoned, with a pleasant texture. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. The sauces were a complete disappointment in terms of taste: The cocktail sauce was extremely curry-heavy and reminded us more of a currywurst sauce – it had nothing to do with a classic doner kebab sauce. The spicy sauce tasted strongly of sriracha or sambal oelek, probably diluted with water. Overall, the sauce concept was unfortunately not convincing at all. My girlfriend didn't like the doner kebab at all; for me, it was "okay," but definitely not a highlight. We honestly can't understand the many positive reviews here – that has little to do with an authentic doner kebab taste.

I thought I knew what a good kebab was – until I ate here. Since then, I've sadly compared every other kebab to this masterpiece in the flatbread. The meat is perfectly seasoned, crispy, juicy – a poem! The sauce? Probably secret, probably magical. And the team? So welcoming, like grandma's kitchen with street food vibes. Anyone who doesn't eat a kebab here is missing out on a culinary highlight. I'm now officially addicted – and proud of it!

The doner kebab was too salty, there were no grilled vegetables. The fries were gray and tasteless.

World's best kebab! Nowhere in Germany has there been a better kebab than here. Especially with the seitan, the roasted vegetables, and the delicious sauces. It tastes good, and not just when you're drunk! :)

I haven't been there in a while. The former My Gemüse Döner is no longer there, and the shop is now called Tat Gemüse Döner. Unfortunately, I didn't like the taste of the kebab at all, and the bread was very soggy. It was very disappointing, as the kebab there used to be excellent (the new owner also offers pizza, which is often not a good sign...). Compared to the previous shop, it was also quite busy. Positive: The service was very friendly, though.

Restaurant warning – bad experience with staff I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. An employee aggressively confronted me and behaved violently towards me - apparently because of a previous review. I felt threatened and had to call the police. Such behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I therefore cannot recommend this place. work.

Today I ate the vegetable kebab for the first time and I have to say it's a real alternative to the meat version. Very good .

Unfortunately, I'm not the biggest fan of Düsseldorf kebab and a lot of it didn't come close to the kebab I'm used to in Mainz. But this was the tastiest kebab I've had in a long time. If I have a craving for kebab, I now have a safe place to go with you in Düsseldorf. Everything tastes super fresh and the garlic sauce is great.

In my opinion, it's currently the best kebab in Düsseldorf... at least the best in the city and south of Düsseldorf area! Extremely tasty, usually filled by the chef with skillful, smooth movements and a fair price! The guys there are really nice and I'm always amazed! Previously, Haus des Döner was my No 1, but Tat's Döner is absolutely outstanding! Can definitely keep up with Cologne and Berlin! 🏆

Very nice service and great vegan food

I really have never eaten such a doner kebab in my life. I can say that it is the best döner kebab in Düsseldorf. There is no trace left of the old one. I came here once before. There were no places to sit and it was a very dirty environment and the workers all looked like human food and the new owners have done a really nice renovation for a year. It has seating for at least 50 people and the new owners run it as a family and you can go with your family with peace of mind. We are always here now. Family Tat Gemüse döner Düsseldorf is number one in my eyes.

Tat vegetable kebab is really top top! The staff are super friendly and the portions are generous. The grilled vegetables make every kebab or dürüm, whether vegetarian, with veal or chicken, taste even better. Once you eat it, no, forget it 😋

Unfortunately it's no longer the REAL My Vegetable Kebab. The Dürüm bread was pulled out of a bag here and simply didn't taste good. The vegetables weren't fully cooked yet and the meat wasn't good either. The original “My Vegetable Döner” has moved to the Bilker Arkaden. Go back there next time 🫶

At its peak about 5 years ago, MyGemüseDöner was so popular that travel guides even raved about it. After the store was renamed, the negative reviews increased, so I was cautiously skeptical before my visit the day before yesterday. However, the concerns were dispelled. I liked it very much. The meat was only standard, but the rest was above average. Sauces, bread, fried vegetables and the atmosphere in the shop - everything convinced me. Will come back.

Best Döner in town. Tat Gemüse Döner is a great place. They serve a delicious alternative to Döner with meat which in my opinion has more taste: Gemüse Döner (vegetable). Every bite you take tastes different, crunchy and juicy at the same time. Perfect seasoning and delicious sauces. The staff working there is also super friendly and funny😊. This is the first time I've been here since the store's renovations and I'm very satisfied, so I'll be happy to continue coming by. A great shop that offers kebabs and the like and is right nearby. The store can be easily reached around the Düsseldorf Arcaden, shopping center with Kaufland and Co. and the Bilker train station. Lots of trains, buses and trams go here. The store itself looks very inviting with the large illuminated sign and the large open window, which allows you to look straight through the entire store. The entire counter is visible from the outside and invites you to eat. When you walk in, you'll find a very chic shop with a large, well-stocked and clean counter. Huge amounts of salads, skewers, vegetables, etc., all visible and whet your appetite. There is also an area with an oven for pizza, pide, etc. There are many cozy tables with benches at the back. You can also sit outside at tables with benches in the store entrance. The shop offers kebabs, with a focus on vegetable kebabs, with many additional ingredients, but there are also freshly made things such as pide and co. Chicken, veal, seitan (vegetarian), tons of salads and vegetables, sheep's cheese, lemon, snacks, Freshly baked goods, pizza, pide, the selection is huge and there is something for everyone. For example, I had a veal kebab complete with everything and I have to say it tasted very good, in this special combination, bread was crispy, meat in combination with vegetables and salad and sauces was very fresh and everything was very tasty in itself. It's not a Yaprak kebab that you only eat with meat, but this is about the entire creation of salads, vegetables, sauces, sheep's cheese, lemon, meat, etc. and this shop does it really well. For example, I also had pide with minced meat and garlic, very spicy and crispy and fluffy straight from the oven, also a really great dish. I will come back and eat a lot more. Everything is freshly prepared and of good quality. The employees are very friendly and the prices are okay. I am very satisfied, thank you 😃👍

Good vegan vegetable kebab based on seitan. But could do with more salad and a little more choice of vegan sauces or e.g. Hummus

On our way to Düsseldorf, we stopped by to eat a doner kebab and left extremely satisfied. The doner kebab was extremely delicious and the portions were very filling.

The most delicious VEGAN kebab I have ever eaten! I am completely thrilled!!! The owner explained to me that they had the Seitan specially prepared with their spice mixture, which is why it tasted like real kebab meat to me 😍

Delivery was quick though. However, the kebab didn't taste good. Everything was soggy and tasted like nothing. Fries were OK.

It was my first time eating there with my family and the first impression was very good. You will be greeted with respect and served with a smile. Everyone is very nice and child-friendly. Great attention is paid to hygiene and there are many seating options (inside and outside). The food there tastes very tasty and everything is freshly prepared.

Unbelievable, something like this has never happened to me before. First of all I ordered the menu 1 rotisserie veal in bread. With a note only onions and tomatoes. The food arrived with vegetables. Then I called and complained. He then said that his wife didn't speak German very well and that I should have written in without vegetables. OK, I accept. After I got the vegetables out of my kebab, I bit into the kebab and took a second bite just to be sure. No taste nothing. I then opened the kebab and took a closer look at the meat. Completely raw and fried in just a few places. I was horrified and then called again. The employee asked me to send a video of it. I did this and then called him again. He said how much should it be fried? That this was so normal... then we discussed it and he said it was outrageous to complain about something like that, as a customer I think you should always have the right to complain and said that this was outrageous of him, then he insulted me on the phone and I give him back. I hung up because things were getting too far for me. He called me again to threaten me saying he knows where I live. Would never recommend the store to anyone.

Great kebab with top value for money. Chicken kebab for 6 euros, with vegetables an additional 7 euros (as of October 2024). Fills you up well and tastes good. That just fits. The staff is always friendly and funny. Keep it up.

Really tasty, vegetables make the difference, chicken tastes good too. Quantity is there. The price is completely okay (döner kebab 7€). And service nice, with humor. What more could you want? Again confirms my theory that every kebab that Fritz Kola sells is also delicious.

The kebab came along in a totally run-down environment with a miserable ambience and so-so service. A kebab made from minced meat/pieces of meat came in a kebab bag that was too big. But the first bite of the kebab threw all my doubts overboard. Respect, great kebab at a reasonable price. You have to try it.

The food is super delicious! The kebab was nice and crunchy; enough meat like salad and vegetables on it. Advice on which sauce suits you best is free! The service remains friendly and cool despite the stress. The ambience is good, although of course the lights don't have bulbs in them. But the music that was playing was really nice. Price performance: My kebab cost €7. For the quality and filling in this day and age, completely ok. I can only recommend the store.

Two friendly gentlemen served me the best Dönerbox I've ever had.

The food is good, but the delivery time is really terrible. I ordered at 11:22 a.m. via Lieferando. When ordering, I was able to select 12:05 p.m. as the fastest possible delivery time, which I did. The delivery time was corrected several times, and I finally received my food at 1:17 p.m., almost 2 hours after placing my order. And this delivery time was definitely not due to Lieferando, the order only reached the statue “in preparation” at 12:54 p.m. A single kebab and an ayran were ordered. It can't be that it takes over 1.5 hours before you even start preparing it.

One of the tastiest kebabs and vegetable kebabs in the area! Fresh ingredients, bread perfectly baked and the kebab with a good spiciness. There was also a pide with cheese, garlic and spicy. I can only recommend the best kebab shop

Unfortunately for me it wasn't a vegetable kebab but a mud kebab, so it wasn't recommended. Frozen vegetables were simply heated and placed on the kebab, so it wasn't recommended.

Food: I usually have a seitan kebab or a seitan kebab plate. The ingredients are fresh and the kebab overall is very tasty. There are four different sauces including a vegan version. Service: The staff is very nice and always asks what you want. There's nothing more to say. Ambiance: The ambience is currently being upgraded. There is indoor and outdoor seating for all weather conditions. Conclusion: favorite kebab in Düsseldorf.

Sorry but the kebab was completely inedible because the meat was incredibly tough. We gave more than half of the dinner back 😞 PS: I told the guys at the snack bar about the messed up kebab but they just told me I was the first guest with this problem (!?).
