Es war der perfekte Tag für ein Mittagessen auf der Terasse des Restaurants beim Nationalmuseum> Auch dank des wunderbaren Wetters, aber es war wirklich super !

Alles perfekt und nur zu empfehlen….ein echter Geheimtipp!!

We had a wonderful evening. The ambiance is modern, yet cozy and inviting. Our waiter was very competent, polite, and attentive. He took excellent care of us. We had the set menu. After a delicious bread roll, we received an amuse-bouche. The following courses were simply perfect. Every dish was exquisitely seasoned and beautifully presented. In summary, I would describe the cuisine as classically modern. The craftsmanship is of a very high standard, worthy of a Michelin star. The price is absolutely justified and fair considering the quality. This restaurant is highly recommended!

We had a wonderful lunch at Restaurant Museum. The preparatory discussions for our tasting were creative and precise. We felt very welcome. There was no arrogance, which is unfortunately so prevalent in Munich's restaurant scene these days. At Restaurant Museum, culinary diversity and hospitality are paramount. Every course of the menu, from the amuse-bouche to the dessert, was a culinary experience. The excellent wines were perfectly paired with the dishes. The cuisine and service were top-notch. During our bike ride through Munich, we happened upon the Bavarian Museum. The building is very beautiful. We had coffee at the café next door. It's a beautiful and peaceful spot. The English Garden is easily accessible from here.

If you don't speak German you are an uninteresting guest. Everything is only in German, they are not interested in English-speaking tourists, their willingness to adapt to the world is zero. Still German superiority. Unfortunately, this is a common approach in Munich, not only in restaurants, but also in museums.

Excelente buena cena para el almuerzo. Esta fue una de nuestras mejores comidas en Munich. Empezamos con una ensalada de remolacha de trufa, que estaba fuera de este mundo. Luego ambos comimos pasta, mi esposa un plato de mantequilla marrón y trufa, y yo comí uno de langostinos y tomate. ¡Increíble! Wanted to have lunch in the café today! We looked for a place on the terrace! Tables around us were not cleared! The service passed us by 5 times! Neither a hello nor a card nor any other reaction that they wanted to serve us! We left hungry after 20 minutes!

Sometimes the service doesn't understand the order, but this only becomes clear when it's served. Before ordering a cake, you should take a good look at the cakes available. Some of the cake pieces are half smaller than others. Otherwise good service, but the language barrier should be worked on or at least asked again whether it was written down correctly.

I came here for dinner around 13:00. But they said the restaurant was closed. But in the comments I read, I saw that the kitchen was open between 12:00 and 14:30. There is confusion here. If there is such a rule, the time when the kitchen is closed must be specified. I am a tourist, I found out that it was a nice place and I came for the food. I don't know German and my English is not very good. I may not have expressed myself properly. However, it was not nice for the employees to make fun of this situation. I don't know why they made fun of me. It doesn't really matter. But I am a business owner and I would not allow any of my employees to do such rudeness. The sarcastic attitude of the employees at that moment was not pleasant at all. I hope they don't do this to other people.

Tolle Location , tolles Design ,geniale Weinkarte und anständige Küche. Das Museum Restaurant ist der geeignete Ort um es sich so richtig gutgehen lassen kann,ob mit Partner einem Geschäftsessen oder auch in einer großen Runde,für jeden Anlass eine gute Wahl. A really chic café. The cocoa is great and the cake looks wonderful. A little more expensive but absolutely justified. A big recommendation if you were in the English Garden.

Das Essen war hervorragend. Schon der Gruss aus der Küche stimmte auf das kulinarische Erlebnis ein. Obwohl wir kein Gemüse Fan schmeckte die Kichererbsen und Blumenkohlsuppe uns sehr gut. Echt Klasse. Tartar vom Thunfisch und Rind toll abgeschmeckt. Moules sehr fein. Ochsenbacke zart. Einzige "Kritik": das fischmesser lag falsch. Sonst sehr aufmerksamer Service

Maybe we caught them in a difficult day. Outside it says it is a café but once you get enter and you are asked if you want to dine or have a coffee, the quality of the service changes drastically. There’s also only a few tables that are foreseen as coffee tables. We had dined here before and everything was alright, but the service yesterday was very unfriendly since we only wanted coffee and cake. The place is pretty. The cake is edible but not worth it being ignored and poorly served.

After a visit to the Bavarian National Museum, we treated ourselves to a break in the Café & Restaurant Museum. The recommendation for a small snack for two was perfect. The best Italian ham, probably San Daniele, delicious olives, absolutely fresh, crispy white bread and also a darker, crispy breadstick, something nice to drink and very nice service. We felt very comfortable and will come back, sometimes in the evening. Thank you!

Perfect cuisine, perfect, very pleasant service. An example: I canceled the amuse geule because I don't eat mayonnaise. After a few minutes, a variation spontaneously made by the kitchen came out, unsolicited. The prices for the food are high, but justified. The drinks are surprisingly moderate: a bottle of wine from Knipser costs 42 euros, so you can't complain.

Unser Münchner Lieblingsrestaurant - wir verbrachten hier schon viele schöne Feiern mit Familie und Freunden. Doch dieses Mal war es wirklich nicht zufriedenstellend. Beim Mittagsmenü zu einer Geburtstagsfeier baten wir um einen anderen Hauptgang als dem auf der Karte, da mein betagter Vater Probleme beim Kauen hat. Das wurde leider nicht möglich gemacht. Als dann der Hauptgang kam, waren wir wirklich alle enttäuscht. Das Stück Fleisch (Roastbeef) war derart fest und unessbar, dass wir es zurückgehen ließen. Auch die lieblosen Beilagen wie Pommes und Endiviensalat waren nichts Besonderes. Es wurde uns dann vom sehr arroganten Küchenchef eine Alternative angeboten: Wir haben uns für Saiblingsfilet und Gnocchi entschieden. Der Fisch auf Linsen war langweilig, die Gnocchi in Ordnung. Was uns gar nicht gefallen hat: Keine Entschuldigung. Oder ein kleines Dessert. Wir kommen so schnell nicht wieder. Service war bemüht. Wirklich schade!

Wir schätzen des Restaurant wegen des Ambientes, der sehr guten Küche und des äußerst zuvorkommenden Personals seit Jahren. Auch wenn bei unserem aktuellen Besuch die Erwartungen schon dementsprechend hoch waren wurden sie nochmals übertroffen. Es war ein spektakulär gutes Sechsgängemenü mit passender Weinbegleitung. Der Service war wieder auf höchstem Niveau. Rundum ei Hochgenuss.

We were in a larger group at the Café & Restaurant Museum. The 3-course menu was excellent and every plate was beautifully prepared. The ambience is elegant and the sound is distributed throughout the high rooms, making it easy to have a conversation. The parking spaces in the inner courtyard, which can be reached via Lerchenfeldstrasse, are very practical.

We ordered the 6 course menu. It was fantastic! So much flavor! The dishes were beautiful! I have nothing bad to say about this establishment!

Al final de la comida sonó la alarma de incendios del museo. “Todo lo que tenías que hacer era pedirme que me fuera,” bromeé con Toby. “¡No hay necesidad de gestos tan dramáticos!” En buena forma, Toby me proporcionó un vaso de taittinger de cortesía mientras esperábamos al departamento de bomberos. La lluvia decidió regresar durante nuestra espera, y Toby me ordenó un taxi. El personal aquí es un gran equipo. La comida es genial. El servicio es impecable Todo nuevo significado a “ser cuidado” y “vino y cenado”. Volveré

We went here for a snack in the afternoon. The service was fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating. The only criticism is that the kitchen is closed in the afternoon and then there was really only cake. Still a great location and highly recommended.

Uma experiência e tanto. O local é maravilhoso e a equipe do restaurante é muito atenciosa. Pedimos o menu de 4 pratos, muito bom. Incialmente veio uma cesta de pães com patê de fígado. Depois um prato com salmão em pequena proporção. Posteriormente um atum também cru, muito temperado e gostoso. O outro prato foi uma sopa de tomate gelado com vieira. Para finalizar uma carne com legumes e purê de batata. De sobremesa marcarpone com gelato. Tudo ricamente decorado e saboroso. Não posso avaliar o valor, porque ganhamos o jantar de um membro familiar.
