Entspannter Service. Das Essen ist sehr gut, aber die Speisekarte ist etwas klein. Als wir dort waren, gab es nur fünf Hauptgerichte.

Das Ambiente ist schön und das Tartar das Beste was wir jemals hatten. allerdings war der Service leider nicht gut. In einer Weinbar erwarte ich, dass man hinsichtlich des Weins beraten wird, wenn schon keine Informationen in der Karte stehen. Wenn dann zwei verschiedene Weine als „trocken“ bezeichnet werden hilft das nicht bei der Auswahl und wirkte nicht so als wüsste man Bescheid. Uns wurde auch nicht nachgeschenkt und obwohl die Gläser leer waren wurden wir nicht gefragt ob wir noch was trinken möchten. Die Dessertkarte haben wir, trotz Nachfrage, auch nicht bekommen.

Für meinen Besuch im Grapes Weinbar Hotel habe ich insgesamt einen sehr positiven Eindruck mitgenommen. Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und angenehm, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Der Service war grundsätzlich sehr freundlich und professionell, und das Essen hat mich wirklich überzeugt – geschmacklich auf einem hohen Niveau und liebevoll zubereitet. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war allerdings, dass das Personal über längere Zeit (über 20 Minuten) nicht bemerkt hat, dass ich noch etwas bestellen wollte. Das hat den ansonsten sehr guten Gesamteindruck etwas getrübt. Abgesehen davon war jedoch alles prima – eine schöne Location mit viel Potenzial, die ich definitiv weiterempfehlen kann.

Ich war in den letzten Jahren oft im Grapes und das Essen hat sich in letzter Zeit enorm verbessert – ich hatte ein großartiges Abendessen mit dem April-Menü: Fokus auf saisonale Zutaten, perfekt zubereitet. Die Weinkarte ist wie immer beeindruckend, und das Personal empfahl mir genau die richtige Flasche.

Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Schöne Atmosphäre, sehr aufmerksamer und professioneller Service, Speisen sehr lecker und Getränke auch top. Klare Empfehlung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hervorragendes Essen, exquisite Getränkekarte und schönes Ambiente

Ich war gestern mit einem Freund in der Grapes Wine Bar, und wir hatten insgesamt einen sehr schönen Abend. Die Atmosphäre ist wunderbar, mit gedämpftem Licht und einem gemütlichen, aber dennoch geräumigen Gastraum. Die Sitzgelegenheiten sind sehr bequem. Allerdings kann es dort recht laut werden. Der Raum ist groß, aber durch die vielen Gäste und die recht laute Musik kann es schon mal etwas lauter werden. Die Weinkarte ist umfangreich und bietet rund 30 Weine glasweise an, darunter Weiß-, Rosé- und Rotweine sowie einige Schaum- und Dessertweine. Die Auswahl an glasweisen Weinen ist besonders interessant. Die Preise reichen von etwa 8 € bis über 30 € pro Glas, was die Bar definitiv im höheren Preissegment bewegt. Die Qualität der Weine, die ich probiert habe, war jedoch exzellent – ​​Solfare 24, Barbaresco Rabaja 2016 und Château Suduiraut 1er Cru Classé 2001. Verbesserungspotenzial sehe ich vor allem im Weinservice. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aber die Präsentation und das Einschenken der Weine könnten professioneller sein. Die Etiketten wurden nicht richtig vorgestellt oder erklärt, und einer der Rotweine wurde etwas hastig serviert. Der Service war nicht schlecht, aber nicht auf dem Niveau, das man von einer Weinbar dieser Lage erwarten würde. Das Essen hingegen war hervorragend. Ich begann mit dem Rindertartar, der außergewöhnlich war – perfekt gewürzt und genau nach meinem Geschmack. Dazu bestellte ich Focaccia, die wunderbar zum Tartar passte (normalerweise wird es mit ein paar Pommes serviert). Dieses Gericht war für mich eine glatte 10/10. Als Hauptgang hatte ich ein perfekt al dente gekochtes Risotto und zum Dessert eine Crème brûlée mit einem sehr raffinierten Geschmack. Insgesamt war das Essen von guter Qualität. Ist es die beste Weinbar in München? Wahrscheinlich nicht – es gibt ein paar Dinge, die verbessert werden könnten, und sie ist recht teuer. Angesichts der zentralen Lage ist das aber durchaus verständlich. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall empfehlen, es einmal auszuprobieren, vor allem wegen des Essens und der Weinauswahl.

Schönes Ambiente und guter Wein. Allerdings für eine Weinbar nur eine Überschaubare Auswahl per Glas. Dafür große Auswahl an Flaschen. Kleine Essenskarte. Diese aber sehr gut. Kellner zwar nett aber brauchen sehr lange bis sie beim 2. und 3. Glas kommen um die Bestellung aufzunehmen.

Sehr cooles Ambiente - sehr gute Auswahl an Weinen (preislich allerdings gehoben) - super freundliches, zuvorkommendes, fachkundiges Personal Haben auch spontan einen Tisch bekommen - zur Prime würde ich allerdings reservieren Essen nicht in Anspruch genommen, sah aber top aus

Hervorragende Weine, auch offen (by the glasl), sehr gute Küche mit handgemachten Gerichten, auch vegetarisch, überschaubare, hochwertige Speisekarte. Freundliches, zugewandtes Personal. Für jeden Geldbeutel etwas.

Es ist schade, dass die Tische mittlerweile so eng gestellt sind, dass man unmittelbar an den Nachbarn sitz. Es ist schwer, sich überhaupt auf die Sitzbank zu schlängeln. Es wirkt so, als hätte man einfach einen Tisch mehr platziert (im Vergleich zu früher).

Diese Weinbar ist immer einen Besuch wert. Eine hervorragende Weinauswahl und ein hervorragender Service.

Eine tolle Weinbar zu zweit oder mit Freunden auf ein gutes Glas Wein und kleinen Snacks. Die Weine sind Top und die Preisrange beginnt moderat bis open end. Die Karte an Speisen ist klein und so sind auch die Portionen. Satt essen geht nicht wirklich bei den Preisen. Die Speisen verstehen sich eher als Weinbegleitung. Das Grapes will eine Weinbar bleiben und das ist auch gut so. Wir haben hier schon viele gute Weine entdeckt. Die Sommelier verstehen ihr Handwerk, also lasst Euch beraten und probiert mal was aus. Wir sind damit bisher immer gut gefahren.

Kleines Restaurant mit Cocktailbar in einem zentral gelegenen Hotel in München. Wir drei konnten kurzfristig einen Tisch reservieren und wurden herzlich empfangen und sofort platziert. Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter sorgte für einen sehr guten ersten Eindruck. Da samstags kein Degustationsmenü angeboten wird, bestellten wir verschiedene Vorspeisen und ein Hauptgericht zum Teilen. Das Essen war gut, aber angesichts des Preises nicht besonders herausragend. Die Weinkarte ist umfangreich, die Preise sind jedoch merklich hoch, was man beachten sollte. Das Restaurant füllt sich schnell, und dann wird es deutlich lauter, sodass man sich etwas schwer unterhalten kann. Trotz des Andrangs und der Akustik war es aber insgesamt ein schöner Abend.

Absolut unhöflich abgewiesen, keine Alternative angeboten. Aber kein Thema, in München kann man das ja machen….

Die Weinauswahl, auch an offenen Weinen, ist hervorragend und wohlüberlegt. Das Essen ist originell komponiert, geradlinig (kein Firlefanz) und hervorragend zubereitet. Der Service ist aufmerksam und kundenorientiert. Von den teureren Weinen bekommt man einen Probelschluck, bevor man sich entscheidet.

Sehr schöne Location. Essen war okay. Zum Tatar zwei kleine Ciabatta gröstete war nicht so wirklich gut. Dunkles Brot würde wirklich besser dazu passen. Überhaupt wurde mit dem Brot sehr sparsam umgegangen. Bedienung war sehr nett, nachdem es voll war ein bisschen überfordert. Eine wahnsinns Weinkarte. Allerdings sind die Weine etwas zu teuer, wenn man bedenkt, dass die selben Weine aus dem Rheingau, der Pfalz etc. um einiges günstiger angeboten werden.

Tolle Weinauswahl, leckeres Essen und wirklich nettes Personal. Ich komme gerne immer wieder.

Sehr angenehmes Ambiente- top Service!

Wir waren Gäste im Cortiina und wollten noch ein wenig den Abend in der Weinbar ausklingen lassen. Das Ambiente ist schön und man kann sich gut unterhalten. Die bestellte Käseplatte war übersichtlich, aber sehr geschmackvoll. Das Brot kam warm und war wirklich ein Gedicht, absolut zu empfehlen und bis dahin ein schöner Abend. Meine Schwiegermutter kommt selbst aus der gehobenen Gastronomie und wies den Mitarbeiter darauf hin das die Weingläser nicht sauber sind. Ja, das wissen Sie, es sei die Spülmaschine. Keine Entschuldigung, ein Vorschlag ein anderes Glas zu bringen etc. wurde nicht gemacht. Man lies es uns aber nun spüren das wir etwas gesagt haben und der Service war vorbei. Schade das die kleine Kritik so ausgelegt wurde.

An exceptional wine bar offering truly outstanding wines. The food selection doesn't disappoint either. Every Monday, they offer veal schnitzel Monday. Highly recommended.

Update 2025: I went back and had a much better experience. My complaints from the past did not persist and actually had a good time! The wine was very good. The service was way too pushy and we even received some snarky comments when we were a bit surprised about being pushed a bottle of water. Aside from that, we didn't receive any insight on the wines at all. Definitely not worth paying 6-10€ a glass for a service that is there to just push you overpriced water.

Beginners are perfectly guided, and the service is attentive and friendly.

Nice, modern courtyard bar/bistro. Great selection of small producer wines by glass - good quality, slightly high prices. Food more average, both in terms of price and quality. Plating was thoughtful, but at least the tartar was lukewarm - house sourdough bread was excellent. Service was very friendly and the waiter / sommelier seemed to know the wines.

We unfortunately didn't have a great wine experience here. The service and location was excellent, however the two wines we tried were both very single note, too tanniny dry and felt like they needed to be aged longer. Disappointed, especially for the 15+ price per glass

A restaurant with an attractive interior that makes you immediately feel at home. The wine list is also well-stocked, prices corresponding to the location of the restaurant. But then unfortunately things go steeply downhill. Starter: wild herb salad, which is essentially bland green leaf lettuce with asparagus trimmings and a few crumbs of cheese. Despite the overly acidic vinaigrette, it remains bland. The salmon trout is completely cooked through, but the spinach is also over-salted and the whole arrangement is drowning in a fat-dripping sauce, to which you seriously need to add a tablespoon. Meanwhile, the service looks on with an expression as if it had already become clear during the staff meal what was going to be on the plates today. The Boeuf Bourguignon could no longer be found on the menu in the restaurant, but it could be found on the Internet. (This is this new territory with the current information…) Conclusion: a skilled interior designer and a full wine cellar does not make a good cook.

The wine tasted good, and the food was okay. However, I found the staff a bit rude and pushy, as if they were forcing me to either buy more or leave. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Since I wanted to reserve a large table for a bachelorette party, I emailed the manager in advance. The email communication with Ms. Darius was incredibly fast, very pleasant and she was extremely open about my ideas for the evening. So it was no problem to reserve the table for the entire evening or to decide on two of the four courses in advance and let the guests decide on the rest spontaneously. When we got there, Ms. Darius herself was there, managed our table and served us. She knew everything that was discussed and always contacted me if I had any questions. She and the other staff provided great service and were extremely attentive. It wasn't a problem that not everyone wanted a main course/dessert. She herself suggested that you could also order these courses to share. The food and wine were extremely delicious. Personally, I have no idea about wine, but some of the wine experts in my group said that the selection was great and that you could find something for all tastes. When my sister asked which was her favorite spot of her bachelorette party (we were on the road for a total of 5 days in two different cities and were lucky enough to have incredibly delicious food in every restaurant), she told me Grapes, which I think speaks for itself. I can only wholeheartedly recommend the wine bar. Everything discussed worked perfectly, the atmosphere in the store is super cozy, the food is very well balanced and the staff is incredibly friendly. Without question, we will definitely come back just like that and I would plan an “event” at Grapes again in a heartbeat. Plus you absolutely can't complain about the price-performance ratio. Thanks to the entire team for giving the entire group such a lovely evening.

Very chic and attractively designed wine bar with nice seating, a classic bar area and friendly, young staff. The same applies to the audience structure, which was very mixed and lively despite being an establishment attached to the hotel. All of the dishes were of extremely high quality, not only visually but also in terms of taste. The same applies to the extensive sparkling wine and wine list, so we left nothing to be desired, which was also due to the good and knowledgeable advice. The service was also extremely charming, pleasant, quick and, above all, very professional. In any case, I will be happy to come back soon, thank you for the lovely evening!

We had a completely successful evening. Great, cozy atmosphere. Plus delicious food and great wine.

Ended up here after bailing on a beer hall. Such a better choice for our last night in Munich. And very grateful for their walk in communal table. Cozy, sophisticated, warm atmosphere, with some great art. Looks like a nice patio in the summer too. Wine was unsurprisingly, great. The menu spanned a few cultures (some French, Spanish, and Mediterranean), but dishes from all were excellent. Cauliflower hummus and beef bourguignon were wonderful on a cozy cold night. Bread was a little too good. Service seemed a little slow/harried but it was a busy night, with a lot of people at the big centre table. No one seemed to mind hanging around too much. Would come back, and reserve one of the big couch-style bench tables.

Einer der besten Weinkeller Münchens, sehr gutes Essen und ein toller Service. Der Sommelier kennt sein Weine und berät sehrt gut.

It is a very nice restaurant. The service is very friendly, courteous and attentive. The wine selection is very large and there is something for every taste. A positive thing to mention is that you can taste the wine before it is poured. The food is also good, but not of the same quality as the wine. You can tell that the focus is on the wine selection - hence a star deduction. It should be noted that this is a high-priced restaurant. A good wine can be relatively expensive. Therefore, as a tip - pay attention to this when choosing. However, in my opinion it is always worth a visit based on the points mentioned.

The food is only secondary here, although the snacks are really tasty, the star guest is the wine list. The great team around Diego does a great job, despite all the hectic pace, they are always friendly, always attentive and incredibly competent. Always good for new and great experiences, no matter how often I come, there is always something delicious to discover. Keep it up, see you soon.

Insgesamt kann man fünf Sterne geben. Die Weinauswahl ist riesig und die Beratung ist sehr professionell. Service ist sehr angenehm und sorgfältig ausgesucht für die Weinbar. Die Speisen sind qualitative und äußerlich sehr einladend. Dem Tatar und Seviche fehlt etwas Pfiff.  Die Antwort von Personal darauf war allerdings nicht überzeugend und möcht ich hier nicht erwähnen.. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert für eine gute Wein,erfahrung und leichteres Essen . Bravo

Our family of 7 spent Christmas Eve here, and could not have chosen any better. We had a fixed menu which was super delicious, maybe the best meal of our 10 day trip to Munich and Salzburg. The food, wine and beer were pleasing to all. The atmosphere was upscale and very cozy, with wonderful service the entire evening.

After an hour of waiting to pay the bill, another nice surprise: the “greetings from the kitchen” that no one had ordered but was brought to share (basically a nice gesture) - was of course added to the bill. Creative, but not in the sense of customer orientation. So if you want bad service, surprises and spontaneous additional costs, this is the right place for you.

We were here for an evening with friends. Huge wine selection with great advice. The choice of food is limited but the food we ordered was excellent. It was really a highlight. The restaurant has very tight seating, but the atmosphere from the light to the fire is very cozy. Overall, a really great location! Recommended

They briefly explain the wines before serving them. 🔵It's nice to be able to buy wines by the glass so you can taste them. 🔵My review for the food is average: There were 3 types of cheese, 2 each, on the cheese plate. I think it's not enough. You need to order the bread separately The portion of tartar was small and did not have an intense taste. I've had better tartares. 🔵The atmosphere is warm and friendly. It has dim lighting. It also has a fireplace. You can come here to taste different wines, but the food side is weak.

Einfach ein schöner Ort. Sehr gutes Essen, noch bessere Weinauswahl und sehr kompetente und freundliche Angestellte. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man etwas besonderes sucht.

Es war unfassbar laut, da vor uns am dem Community Table eine Gruppe von >20 Leuten war. Daher laut und voll weil die Gruppe natürlich hin und her gelaufen ist.

This is a quaint little wine bar inside the Cortiina Hotel. The servers were very attentive and assisted with making excellent wine selections. The menu was somewhat limited but there was a good variety and everything was delicious!

The bar itself is good and the food is very tasty and fresh. What's really annoying, however, is the noise in the bar. You can hardly have a conversation and you're actually happy when the food is served quickly, you eat it and leave.

Explore the small streets and alleys, explore and search, and be inexplicably excited in this city. We walked to the beer garden and entered the bar in the alley. The first floor of Hotel Lux was full of people. The GRAPES Weinbar diagonally opposite was a temporary bar. I had two drinks each. My first drink was 2021 Tire-Bouchon - Domaine dOuréa, Rhône...7.50, E's first cup 2020 Lemberger Altenberg - Knauss, Wirttemberg... 16.50. Our second glass of 2014 Château La Croix Bellevue - Jean-Louis Trocard, Lalande-de-Pomerol... 9.50. The atmosphere is very good, 95% of the people are there, sitting two seats by the floor-to-ceiling windows, looking at the street view and chatting. Talking about Zalto's wine glass, one glass costs 2,500 oceans...

Wir waren zum Montag/ Schnitzeltag dort. Alles war sehr gut und Diego hat uns super freundlich und gut gelaunt bedient. Die Weinempfehlung war super - wie man es in einer sehr guten Weinbar erwartet. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Very nice and helpful staff. Good food and good wines to go with it. The staff were very good at finding matches that suit everyone in the party. The traditional Flammekuche was delicious and the veal cooked to perfection. The chocolate cake was the fluffiest I've ever eaten, not nearly as powerful as they can be. The custard tasted homemade. The room is fresh and nicely decorated. I really recommend Grapes Weinbar and would love to come back!

Yesterday we spent a very nice evening at Grapes. We had the opportunity to try some wines. The wine list offers a wide selection, we limited ourselves to Austria. There are also some small snacks and tarte flambées. The service and advice from the sommelier were very good.

We were there again, this time on “Schnitzeltag”. In short, everything was great and we would be happy to come back.
