We had very well-seasoned and portioned Indian dishes. The service was unobtrusive and very friendly. Initially, we were a little surprised to find Italian and German dishes on the menu (we can't comment on their quality). In any case, our food was excellent.

This typically Indian restaurant also offers Italian and German cuisine. We, of course, tried the Indian. While it's not necessarily my cup of tea, I have to admit the dishes were very good and unique. It's worth a try. The menu is rich in variety, and the service was excellent.

I went to the Hechingen Museum Restaurant with some friends on Sunday. The food was absolutely delicious and tasty. Authentic Indian flavor. I would recommend it to anyone. Very friendly staff and good service. I will go again.

The washable side panel was extremely dirty, as were the placemats. Service was abysmal; the Indian just slammed everything onto the table, not a friendly word or face, very unpleasant! The food was good. But the cleanliness and unfriendliness ruined everything. The restaurant was full, which I don't understand...

We were spontaneously invited to dinner at the Museum Restaurant. Although I was initially very skeptical, I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant offers Indian, Italian, and German cuisine with a huge menu. We ordered from all of them, and everything was excellent and incredibly delicious. The hosts are also very friendly. The ambiance takes a little getting used to, but everything is clean and tidy. Therefore, I can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The restaurant is centrally located. We visit the castle in Hechingen once a year. We're hungry every year. This time we decided on this Indian restaurant. The menu is surprising, with everything from Indian to Italian to German dishes – they have it all. We chose Indian cuisine, especially since the restaurant and staff were more in favor of it. The sauces were delicious. The rice was bland. The meat was good, but both dishes were prepared in advance and therefore very dry. With the sauce, they were perfectly edible.

The food is good, but I personally found the portions too small. Service is very good.

The food was absolutely exquisite! I ordered the butter chicken and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The way it was served, along with that authentic taste of indian cuisine made the experience a whole lot better. I definitely recommend it!

The restaurant is my absolute favorite. The food is delicious and inexpensive. Students get special offers and often receive free drink packets. The staff always greeted me with a smile and always did their best to make every guest's experience the best possible. 5 stars is an understatement in my opinion, because the quality of the restaurant is on par with luxury restaurants.

We got a flyer in our mailbox and that's how we discovered the restaurant. And since the menu doesn't just feature Indian dishes - I'm actually not that keen on Indian food - we went there for lunch today. My husband loves Indian food, but I was still a bit skeptical. Restaurants with such a wide range of options can't really be good in any one area. But I have to revise my skepticism about this one. Not only was my pizza a highlight, the lamb my husband ordered was also really delicious. I tried it, and on my next visit, which is sure to come, I'll see if I can still get excited about Indian food.

The food was tasty, but nothing special. The starter was large but didn't taste freshly prepared. Service was a bit disappointing due to the following: -We had to wait several minutes to be seated outside, even though several tables were free. -We were called back to take our menu and cutlery outside. -Service wasn't unfriendly, but not particularly friendly either; no "did you enjoy it?" or "did you want something else to drink?" And the other guests were unfortunately unpleasant (smoking and letting the dog run around), but the restaurant can't do that. The price was OK.

I loved this restaurant. After watching the TikTok videos, I had a bad impression of this place, but the food and the staff were both great. Keep up the good work! (But the TikTok videos need improvement.)

We ate there on Thursday and Friday, and it was great both times. On Thursday, we had Indian food, which was very, very tasty and highly recommended. On Friday, we tried the pizza, and that was also excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The interior and beer garden are cozy. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely eat there again. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

For three years of living in Germany, I found only two establishments that deserve 5 stars and museum restaurant hechingen is one of them. This restaurant is a mouthful of culinary inspiration. I really liked it, I advise you to try the duck, it is incredibly tasty In den drei Jahren, die ich in Deutschland lebe, habe ich nur zwei Lokale gefunden, die 5 Sterne verdienen, und das Museumsrestaurant Hechingen ist eines davon. we found our restaurant here! We are more than satisfied with the food, high quality Indian cuisine. The staff is very friendly and attentive, even a small refill is no problem here. The selection of dishes is more than sufficient and everyone should find something here. We recommend the duck Jalfezi or the butter chicken. As a children's dish, the breaded schnitzel with fries is also very tasty. Our children are also welcome guests here and are warmly welcomed and served by the waiter. something like that doesn't happen everywhere. We are very satisfied overall and eat there regularly.

Unfortunately a total failure. The staff hardly spoke and the food wasn't good at all. The pork schnitzel with fries had a side salad, but that was the only thing that tasted good. Schnitzel was most likely from the supermarket freezer. Spaghetti Carbonara was more like muddy carbonara, totally soaked in the sauce. If you go out to eat there, you should most likely opt for an Indian dish.

Wieder sehr lecker gegessen.Trotz größerer Gruppe (angemeldet) haben alle sehr zügig Getränke und Essen erhalten. Nur leider schade, dass nach dem Essen das Personal nicht noch nach einem abschließenden Kaffee oder weitem Getränk gefragt hat. Trotzdem gerne wieder!

Wir waren zum Mittagessen da,es war eine ordentliche Portion,hat super geschmeckt. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir saßen draußen, war gut. Leider hat es zu lange gedauert, bis wir nochmals die Karte für die Nachspeise bekommen haben . Mit genügend Zeit ist es sehr gut.

Die indischen Gerichte schmecken lecker, auch wenn die Karte mehr an einen Lieferdienst denken lässt. Das Museum Restaurant schafft einen guten Spagat und wem es ein paar Euro pro Gericht wert ist, nicht im kleinen Imbiss im stehen essen zu müssen oder indisch sucht, der ist hier gut bedient

Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir haben gestern in großer Runde zuhause zu Abend gegessen. Ich wohne 20 km entfernt, wir haben trotzdem bestellt und abgeholt. Alles war fertig, als wir kamen. Meine Schwestern waren zu Besuch, mit meinen Töchtern also vier Vegetarier. Wir haben ganz unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt (auch mit Fleisch), etwas Raita und 🫓 es war einfach nur MEGA lecker. Wir lieben den Mangolassi! Alles war richtig richtig gut. Zuletzt hatten wir die Schwiegereltern direkt ins Restaurant "entführt", die es auch gut fanden. Dort gibt es Platz und nicht so viel Schnickschnack. Das Personal ist mega nett, wir mussten nicht lange warten. Das Essen war sehr hübsch in Messingtöpfchen angerichtet und auf Stövchen warm gehalten. So kann man auch prima bei den anderen probieren. Wir sind alle schon gut in der Weltgeschichte herum gekommen und wissen, wenn wir was Leckeres essen dürfen. Wir wünschen dem Restaurant nur das Beste und können das indische Essen im Museum uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Gäbe es sechs ⭐, hätte ich sie vergeben.

Schönes Restaurant innen wie außen, riesengroße Auswahl an indischen, italienischen und deutschen Gerichten. Wir wurden sehr schnell bedient, und das Essen war sehr gut und reichlich. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Gutes Essen. Haben schon mehrere Male bestellt. Leider in der letzten Zeit sind schon drei Bestellungen untergegangen. Zwei wurden geliefert, nachdem wir dort angerufen haben. Die dritte kam nie. Werden womöglich dort nicht mehr bestellen. Schade, weil außer Döner kann man in Hechingen nicht viel bestellen.

Man esse hier indisch! Ich war mit einem Halb-Inder zu Besuch, der sich die Finger leckte, so lecker war´s, und same for me! Indisch in dieser Qualität hatte ich kaum je, schon gar nicht in unserer Region, das Essen wird liebevoll zubereitet, teilweise haben die Gerichte schon eine Nacht in einem Lehmofen hinter sich, sie sind wunderschön angerichtet in Kupfertöpfchen, und dieser Geschmack!!! Ich hatte das Gefühl, ich esse zum allerersten Mal in meinem Leben indisch, fast fremd zuerst, aber mit sehr hohem Suchtpotential. Sicher - wenn man authentisch indisch bestellt, dann wird´ s hier sicher schnell mal knackig scharf, aber Trick: einfach Joghurt-Raita dazubestellen und immer mal wieder zwischendurch einen Löffel nehmen - das löscht das Feuer zuverlässig, und schmeckt großartig. Wir hatten die Hühnersuppe, Lamm Madras, und ein Daal mit schwarzen Linsen aus dem Lehmofen, Safranreis, außerdem Papadam ( knuspriges, sehr dünnes Brot mit drei Dips ) und Raita mit Tomate und Gurke - wir waren so zufrieden, wie man nur sein kann, dass das hier Ausnahmequalität hat, das merkt man beim ersten Bissen - HINGEHEN!!!! Ach ja - und der Chai, den die machen: KRASS! Schmeckt ungeheuer intensiv, meine halbindische Begleitung meinte, SO schmecke er halt in Indien. Glaube ich. Trinke ich wieder! :-)

Ich bin ja eigentlich kein Fan von indischem Essen - dachte ich! Wir haben bestellt und das Essen kam überpünktlich, heiß und geliefert durch einen sehr netten Mitarbeiter! Das Essen war super lecker, Fleisch zart und von allem gab es mehr als reichlich! Dementsprechend ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wirklich übertroffen! Wir werden hier sehr gerne wieder essen! ♥️
