Münzenberger Klause in Quedlinburg

Although everything was reserved, at different times, we were allowed to have dinner. Despite considerable stress, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, well presented and the price was absolutely right. We highly recommend the house, see for yourself, you will be thrilled! Many thanks to the inn team.

Very good address for more rustic food of a high quality. Nice, fitting ambience with a long tradition in beautiful surroundings in Quedlinburg. It is advisable to reserve seats. Closed Sun+Mon, otherwise open until 11 p.m. We are thrilled and go there regularly. A separate room is available for approx. 10-15 guests. Very modern toilet. Thumbs up and always happy! 👌

Excellent dining experience. We felt welcome right away, and were impressed by the waiter hustling the whole restaurant by himself while maintaining great quality service. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, and there was a lot of love put in the dishes. We definitely got our money’s worth!

Like every year, we meet for our “family reunion” on the first day to eat and chat. There is a separate room on the 1st floor that is ideal for our small group. The food was once again excellent, the service attentive and friendly. Definitely again next year.

The two of us had dinner that evening. Just call ahead to book a table. It wasn't a problem, a table was reserved for us outside, in the best summer evening weather :). It was very nice to sit under old linden trees. The service was very nice and attentive. Gladly again at any time.

Best food in the world. Mariana is kind, friendly and even had a crème brulet made for me in the summer upon request. We always go there as a group of 6 or 4. Food is prepared quickly. Price performance is perfect. In my opinion, portions are huge.

Ich hatte hier gelesen, dass man in diesem Lokal auch ohne Reservierung Glück haben kann und sehr freundlich behandelt wird. Genauso wars! Sind um 18:45 Uhr kurz vertröstet worden Und hatten um 19:15 einen gemütlichen Tisch für zwei. Der sehr kompetente Kellner hate uns auch versprochen dass es mit dem Essen zügig klappt. Obwohl kurz vorher ca. 20 Personen gleichzeitig Platz genommen hatten. Nicht zuviel versprochen! Alles hervorragend. Essen sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Excellent in every way. We arrived without reservations, were told to come back in fifteen minutes. We returned exactly 15 minutes later, at the same time as a huge group arrived, perhaps 20 people, it might have been a birthday party. We were asked to wait 2 more minutes, and I was then very sceptical, and worried that we'd have to wait ages for our orders. But no, we had our table in two minutes and were told we'd be bumped ahead of the big group. The waiter exuded competence and calmness, he made us feel welcome and comfortable. And sure enough, we had our drinks and food very quickly, and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The small appetizer salads were delicious, fresh and crispy with homemade dressing. Our main dishes were as good as it gets. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough, if I could give six stars, I would. I told the waiter that we'd be regular customers if we lived a little closer. I'd say, for anyone visiting this fantastic medieval city, the Münzberger Klause is the must-vist restaurant.

Went there with 6 people on a warm summer evening and enjoyed the rustic atmosphere and the good food outside. There was zander, large rump steaks in various variations and pan-fried dishes. A very good price-performance ratio and the service from the owner (?) was just as commendable. We'll definitely come back again on our next visit to Quedlinburg.

So we can't understand the negative reviews. We've eaten at this restaurant several times and can't complain. The food is very lovingly prepared, very tasty, well priced and the service is also friendly. The restaurant is very busy (which speaks for itself) and so at peak times it can happen that you wait a little longer for your food, but everything is still acceptable and we prefer to wait a few minutes longer for our food if it's worth it and it definitely does. Always my pleasure!

Very tasteful food. Big portions,so be sure to go there hungry. Excellent service and really nice outdoor terrace. Two appetizers, two main courses, a bottle of water and a bottle of wine. Total amount of 95 euros. Great value for money.

Superbe terrasse, dans le centre mais au calme, belle ambiance avec des lampes sur chaque table, un service affairé mais efficace, des plats typiques de la région. Ce restaurant est une pépite au calme dans l'un des 2 plus beaux villages d'Allemagne. La qualité des plats est inégale (essayez la soupe à l'ail des ours, une merveille), mais on a passé une très belle soirée.

Sweet, authentic restaurant with a garden. Great food, German cuisine, honest cooking. Very busy, reservation necessary. We even went there twice in a row because we liked the cuisine so much. Last but not least the nice and attentive service from Ralf, who seems to be the good soul there. We had two great evenings there.

Wonderful home-style restaurant with very attentive and super-friendly service. The food is very, very tasty and despite being busy, we were always served courteously and friendly by Ralf on two evenings.

We went to the restaurant twice and were totally satisfied both times. The Klause is a classic, home-style restaurant where everything is freshly prepared. Fish, meat, salads, soups and toppings were beyond reproach. Ralf's super friendly service was the icing on the cake on the overall impression!

We were there and ordered schnitzel with fries, a classic. Visually everything was ok and the service was good. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was a ready-made schnitzel from the freezer box and was very dry. Nothing was freshly processed here. The portion of fries in the basket falls very small... only the fresh mushrooms were ok. All in all, not good cuisine and should be improved

THE go-to pub when visiting Quedlinburg for decades. The food is always fresh and delicious, the ambience - especially in the romantic outdoor area under the shady trees at the Gutsmuths monument - is beautiful, and the service is always friendly and professional.

Excellent food, good German cuisine, at reasonable prices. We sat comfortably outside under the lime trees. An additional plus: there are also deodorant and hygiene products in the toilet! Very attentive.

Went there again last Friday. Already a "classic" among Quedlinburg's restaurants during the GDR era. Top standards in terms of food and drink in a cozy atmosphere have been maintained to this day. Attentive and fast service. Many thanks to the boss and her entire team for that. Even after so many years, we are staying loyal guests. For us the clear No. 1 in Quedlinburg!!!

It was a small birthday dinner. But exactly the right choice. The service was super friendly and accommodating, the seats were great because we also had a dog with us. The food was very tasty. Therefore 5 stars and we will be back soon.

I have no idea what it looks like during the week, but a reservation is strongly recommended on the weekend. The restaurant seems very popular and rightly so. The staff in the guest room works diligently to fulfill the guests' wishes in a timely manner. Hats off to this commitment, because it is hard work and the friendliness towards the guests remains at a high level. The food was, of course, excellent and there was not the slightest reason for long faces. Thank you for the great time!

Wir waren vor einer Veranstaltung im Kaiserhof Samstag Abend zu Gast in der Münzenberger Klause. Trotz großen Andrangs war es möglich, dass wir ohne Vorbestellung bleiben konnten. Und kurz zusammengefasst: Das Essen war Klasse, absolut frisch und schmackhaft, genauso Spitze die Bedienung, freundlich, zuvorkommend, trotz des Andrangs immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Ein absoluter Lichtblick in der doch so arg gebeutelten Gastronomie. Jederzeit gerne wieder und sehr sehr empfehlenswert! Fam. Jaensch

In the off-season we were lucky to find an open kitchen here after 8 p.m. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. A real highlight of our short vacation.

After the third attempt to make a reservation with 6 hours. FAST FORWARD, we had managed to get a table Happiness. Quality, taste very good, portions a bit too big. Conclusion: Brigitte and Jürgen H. would eat there if they were in the area.

Quite inconspicuous from the outside in winter. But inside on Saturday lunchtime the dining room was full of people and the ambience/table decorations were upscale. This wasn't reflected in the prices, but was reflected in the quality of the service and the food. We had Mediterranean pork steak with feta cheese gratin and salmon. Beforehand there was a super fresh, delicious salad. When we're in the area again we'll come back. Our dog was also served water before us. Thanks for the hospitality!

Wir kommen super gerne zum Essen u schwatzen her. Es ist gemütlich und sooo lecker, hier kommt man gerne her und natürlich gern immer wieder. Uns gefällt es hier so gut , aber Achtung Gaststätte mit dem Fitnessteller mit Zander das hat für mich Suchtpotential 😏

Dieses Restaurant muss auf jeden Fall eine ausgezeichnete Bewertung bekommen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und trotz der verpatzten Reservierung durch uns bekamen wir schnell noch einen Tisch. Top. Das Essen war extrem lecker und eine ordentliche Auswahl. Das Preisgefüge war extwas hoch, aber jeden Euro wert und im Vergleich in Quedlingburg Durschnitt, wie wir später feststellten. Ich möchte aber nichts schmälern...wer in Quedlingburg ist muss dorthin um war ordentliches zu Essen. Kann sehr das Würzfleisch und die Bratkartoffeln empfehlen. Ich hatte die Medaillons und Bohnen dazu...lecker.

Sehr schöne Gaststätte mit super Essen. War toll. Aber Achtung vorbestellen.
