Ich staune über die vielen guten Bewertungen..... für mich entsprechen diese nicht den Tatsachen! Ich habe auf ein Schnitzel lange gewartet. Endlich kam ein total "übersichtlicher" Teller mit einem superdünnen Schnitzel, total trocken, sehr geschmacksneutral, das konnte die dünne Scheibe Käse darauf auch nicht mehr retten; an der Ecke lagen vier Kartoffelstücken..... ein Salatblatt war auch noch dabei. Das ganze für 22,00 €. Ich kann mich nicht den überschwänglichen Bewertungen anderer Gäste anschließen.

There are a lot of restaurants in Quedlinburg, we chose the Münzenberg Klause! Home-style cooking was what we wanted and we were surprised by the remarkable quality of our schnitzel dishes. Soooo delicious, so beautifully presented on the plate and then large portions at absolutely reasonable prices, that's what you can get here! The two young men made it possible for us to eat in their completely booked restaurant. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back! Thank you for the lovely evening

Die Münzenberger Klause in Quedlinburg ist definitiv eines der besten Restaurants der Stadt. Wenn man nämlich mal wieder richtig lecker, bürgerlich, deftig und schön essen möchte ist dieser Ort genau richtig. Unweit vom Marktplatz und dem Stadtzentrum der Welterbestadt befindet es sich und bietet seinen Gästen alles zum Wohlergehen. Speisen und Getränke waren von hoher Qualität und auch noch schön warm. Zu empfehlen!

We arrived without a reservation on Good Friday around 8pm. The place was full, but we were lucky and got a table. The steamed salmon was very good, the vegetables with it had the right bite. The farmer's breakfast was huge and equally delicious. Service friendly and attentive. Nice rustic restaurant.

Gutbürgerlich isst man dort – und lecker Zubereitetes. Nichts Ausgefallenes; aber was serviert wird, hat Qualität – egal, ob Fisch, ob Braten, ob Huhn mit Reiscurry. Deshalb ist es dort auch meistens ausgebucht und eine Anmeldung vorab empfiehlt sich sehr. Wir hatten zu sechst eine gemütliche Nische mit rundem Tisch und genug Platz (Ellenbogenfreiheit!) für alle. Eine freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung, die auch zwischendurch zweimal nachfragte. Sogar eine Wasserschale für den Hund war sogleich da. Und trotz vollen Hauses (Freitagabend!): nach der Bestellung kein allzu langes Warten, bis alles serviert wurde. Etwas laut ist es, so dass ein Gespräch am Tisch nicht immer möglich war. Das ist der Tribut an die Akustik in einem alten Hause. Man kann selten alles haben. Doch das im engeren Sinn Gastronomische war eben richtig gut!!

Excellent Bulgarian and German food with very good, warm service for many decades 😋😋👍🏻👍🏻 On weekends it's usually only possible to get a place if you make a reservation in advance and it's often fully booked weeks in advance, which speaks for its popularity in the entire Quedlinburg area!

Food and service were good, but unfortunately it was very crowded and therefore there was a corresponding background noise. The atmosphere is a bit old. Due to the large number of guests, it took longer, which cannot be attributed to the service. 2 more service staff would have been better. But where to get it from?

I couldn't go in quickly to get something to eat, all the tables were booked hours in advance, we, two people, were quickly escorted to a table an hour later, ate, drank, paid, then took off again, great, my food was okay, steak, my wife's chicken wasn't cooked well, I asked the waiter about it, no apology or anything, I don't think I'll ever see this dive again, it's probably just out to make a quick buck, and that's not even in season, I don't want to know what goes on there, bottom drawer 🫣

Was dispatched at 8.30 p.m. with the words “We have nothing left to sell here”. You were literally made a fool of, even though there were empty tables and the “restaurant” was supposedly open until 11 p.m. Remember, this place only opens at 5 p.m. and doesn't want to serve food at 8:30 p.m. You probably don't want to make any money here - especially these days - and there is no response to numerous calls to reserve a table in advance. Answering machine like a hotline. Ridiculous.

Our regular restaurant, always consistent quality and quantity for so many years...help I almost burst every time because the portions are really big. We really enjoy eating here and hope it stays that way for many years to come. A reservation is mandatory, especially if you want to eat with more than 2 people. Closed Sun+Mon, otherwise open until 11 p.m. We are thrilled and go there regularly. A separate room is available for approx. 10-15 guests. Very modern toilet. Thumbs up and always happy! 👌

Best food in the world. Mariana is kind, friendly and even had a crème brulet made for me in the summer upon request. We always go there as a group of 6 or 4. Food is prepared quickly. Price performance is perfect. In my opinion, portions are huge.

Ich hatte hier gelesen, dass man in diesem Lokal auch ohne Reservierung Glück haben kann und sehr freundlich behandelt wird. Genauso wars! Sind um 18:45 Uhr kurz vertröstet worden Und hatten um 19:15 einen gemütlichen Tisch für zwei. Der sehr kompetente Kellner hate uns auch versprochen dass es mit dem Essen zügig klappt. Obwohl kurz vorher ca. 20 Personen gleichzeitig Platz genommen hatten. Nicht zuviel versprochen! Alles hervorragend. Essen sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Excellent in every way. We arrived without reservations, were told to come back in fifteen minutes. We returned exactly 15 minutes later, at the same time as a huge group arrived, perhaps 20 people, it might have been a birthday party. We were asked to wait 2 more minutes, and I was then very sceptical, and worried that we'd have to wait ages for our orders. But no, we had our table in two minutes and were told we'd be bumped ahead of the big group. The waiter exuded competence and calmness, he made us feel welcome and comfortable. And sure enough, we had our drinks and food very quickly, and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The small appetizer salads were delicious, fresh and crispy with homemade dressing. Our main dishes were as good as it gets. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough, if I could give six stars, I would. I told the waiter that we'd be regular customers if we lived a little closer. I'd say, for anyone visiting this fantastic medieval city, the Münzberger Klause is the must-vist restaurant.

Went there with 6 people on a warm summer evening and enjoyed the rustic atmosphere and the good food outside. There was zander, large rump steaks in various variations and pan-fried dishes. A very good price-performance ratio and the service from the owner (?) was just as commendable. We'll definitely come back again on our next visit to Quedlinburg.

So we can't understand the negative reviews. We've eaten at this restaurant several times and can't complain. The food is very lovingly prepared, very tasty, well priced and the service is also friendly. The restaurant is very busy (which speaks for itself) and so at peak times it can happen that you wait a little longer for your food, but everything is still acceptable and we prefer to wait a few minutes longer for our food if it's worth it and it definitely does. Always my pleasure!

Ce restaurant est une pépite au calme dans l'un des 2 plus beaux villages d'Allemagne. La qualité des plats est inégale (essayez la soupe à l'ail des ours, une merveille), mais on a passé une très belle soirée.

Sweet, authentic restaurant with a garden. Great food, German cuisine, honest cooking. Very busy, reservation necessary. We even went there twice in a row because we liked the cuisine so much. Last but not least the nice and attentive service from Ralf, who seems to be the good soul there. We had two great evenings there.

We went to the restaurant twice and were totally satisfied both times. The Klause is a classic, home-style restaurant where everything is freshly prepared. Fish, meat, salads, soups and toppings were beyond reproach. Ralf's super friendly service was the icing on the cake on the overall impression!

We were there and ordered schnitzel with fries, a classic. Visually everything was ok and the service was good. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was a ready-made schnitzel from the freezer box and was very dry. Nothing was freshly processed here. The portion of fries in the basket falls very small... only the fresh mushrooms were ok. All in all, not good cuisine and should be improved

THE go-to pub when visiting Quedlinburg for decades. The food is always fresh and delicious, the ambience - especially in the romantic outdoor area under the shady trees at the Gutsmuths monument - is beautiful, and the service is always friendly and professional.
