Brauhaus Lüdde in Quedlinburg

The brewery atmosphere is impressive. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The beer is a matter of taste. Unfortunately, my potato rosti were disappointing.

We got the last two seats on New Year's Eve at 1 p.m. and despite the crowd, we were served very friendly, quickly and correctly. The food was very good and reasonably priced and both types of beer we tasted were very tasty.👍👍👍👍👍

Unfortunately I can't agree with the good reviews. Unfortunately, on a busy day, the service is completely overwhelmed. We got a table at 7:30pm on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was well filled, but there were still more free tables. Half an hour and an unfriendly comment from the waitress later, our order was taken. At this time there were already no pork knuckles left. Due to the otherwise sparse menu and the likely long wait, we decided to go somewhere else. Especially in a brewery, there shouldn't be a long waiting time, at least for the drinks, and a sold-out pork knuckle on Saturday around 7:30 p.m. is a disgrace.

Rustic, worth seeing, beer tastes good. Many beautiful varieties. Prices normal. Service very attentive and nice. It's best not to come for lunch or dinner, you're more likely to get a seat around 5 p.m. and stay a little longer.

It is located in the historic center of the beautiful town of Quedlinburg. Establishment founded in 1876, it occupies a magnificent building, where they make their own beer, of three types: blonde, toasted and black. Although it is very spacious and even has an upper floor, when I arrived it was packed, even though it was a weekday, but the waitresses, super competent, offered me a place at the bar where I ate very comfortably. The menu consists of German specialties, and I opted for pork cubes in black beer sauce with red cabbage and potato dumplings, a pint of blonde beer and a strudel with vanilla sauce, ice cream and cream. Everything was magnificent, the main dish, excellent and abundant; the strudel, magnificent, and as for the beer, exquisite, one of the best I have ever tasted; I left with the desire to try the toast and the black one, but it wasn't a plan... As for the service, as mentioned, magnificent. The bill, €33.90. According to the menu, they only accept card payments starting at €30.

Great ambience in brewery style. Very good service despite being full. Unfortunately my duck leg was a bit dry and therefore tough. I can recommend the brewery's own beer. That was very tasty.

Visit to Quedlinburg on December 15th, 2024, as “Advent in the Courtyards” always takes place there during the Advent season. You should definitely visit. A sumptuous lunch at the Lüdde brewery rounded off and rounded off the visit to Quedlinburg. There was a very clear menu here, but all the dishes were tailored to winter (e.g. large grilled knuckles) and vegetarians were also taken into consideration. Food was very tasty and came after just 15 minutes of waiting, service was super nice and quick. Conclusion: Quedlinburg is always worth a visit 👍

We won't be coming back!!! Unfortunately, we had some disappointing experiences during our visit. The food arrived lukewarm, which significantly reduced the enjoyment. The baked potato with the steak was particularly negative - it was inedible, old and had a rancid taste. We could have returned the food, but since we wanted to eat together as we should, that wasn't an option. It's simply unpleasant if one person is already eating while the other dish is being warmed up. In addition, in a restaurant that charges high prices, you assume that the food will be served fresh, warm and tasty. It was particularly disappointing that during the entire visit we were not asked once whether the food was tasty or whether everything was OK. For us, such a service is simply part of a visit to a restaurant and would have at least offered the opportunity to address the problems directly. Looking back, we could have said something ourselves, but the anger about paying so much money for such quality remains. Hopefully such deficiencies will be addressed in the future so that other guests can have a better experience.

We've been here twice now and there's no other way to say it. The food is great. The staff rather the opposite. You don't have to expect to be greeted in a friendly manner or offered a table - you will be literally ignored. There seems to be no need for hospitality here anymore.

During our guided city tour we passed the Lüdde brewery. Our city guide pointed this out to us. Unfortunately we didn't have time to stop there. However, we noticed that an old witch probably lives there. As we stood there, she rode up on a jaguar and made her way very roughly 🤨 to her landing spot right in front of the front door. She then grimly carried her loot (“human skins” 😉) into the house. 😜

Simply disappointing! Sometimes you don't go for lunch until after 2 p.m., but you hope for the same quality as lunch or dinner. Far from it... The food was cold, the fried potatoes on the knuckle were old and greasy. The kale had a main flavor of mustard and seemed reheated, but not fresh. The staff impressed with their indifference. The service employee accepted our complaint with the words: "I'll take it like that..." and in the end we weren't even said goodbye. It's a shame, obviously the sales here still seem to be okay! We don't expect an answer from the owner, but we would be pleasantly surprised!

When you visit the old town of Quedlinburg, you can hardly avoid visiting this quaint inn. The ambience is unique. The food is hearty and the home-brewed beer is delicious. Friendly staff.

I've been going to Quedlinburg for years and of course I'm always at the Lüdde brewery. Everything is unbeatably good. I don't have any photos to present here because as soon as the food is on the table, all I think about is eating. I would especially like to send Ines a greeting from Berlin.

1 of 2 meals was good, unfortunately the meat in the other was completely cold and the baked potato tasted old. Unfortunately, complaints are not possible because no one from the service department comes to the table in a timely manner. After eating, you sit in front of your plates for 20-30 minutes until someone has mercy on you to clear them away. When you pay, the service doesn't apologize for the things you complained about, but rather harshly tells you that you should have addressed it straight away. We would have if someone had come by. You then get the bill slapped in your face. Overall, a rather negative experience. We won't be coming back again.

Five stars for the Kutschereck What an evening! There were seven of us and we had Frieda, the four-legged friend, with us - in the carriage corner at the top of the Lüdde brewery we immediately felt like VIPs! The corner is the perfect place for a larger group who like to laugh, feast and chat together. A bit isolated, but with enough atmosphere - just the right thing to relax and enjoy the evening. The food? Simply delicious! The burgers and beer meat were so good that we almost forgot to talk to each other (and that's saying something!). We tried the entire range of drinks: from Brauhausmeister schnapps to beer cocktails and Aperol Spritz – everything was great! Our waiter? A real professional – charming, in a good mood and always available without being intrusive. Eating out is fun! The food came quickly and the atmosphere was simply great. We are sure: This was definitely not our last visit to the Lüdde brewery. If you're looking for a cozy, rustic corner for a group where you can have fun and chat - head to the coachman's corner! Very great brewery, super nice service and great ambience. Unfortunately you have to reserve a table very long in advance. You also have the opportunity to check on site whether a table has been reserved for later and whether you can use it. Food was great.

The premises are great. Unfortunately the food is too expensive for the quality delivered. Unfortunately, the IPA tastes strongly of butter and has very little hop aroma. There was no typical bitterness at all. Very unfortunate!

Great brewery! Great ambience, good food, good service! We were here spontaneously around 1 p.m. during the week. Space wasn't a problem even with a large family. The service was attentive and the food was delicious! Children's meal was under 8 euros. There was also vegetarian food. Also a day ticket. We had kale with smoked pork and sausage for 21 euros, knuckle for just under 20 euros and the children had potato pancakes with applesauce, fries and nuggets and a robber plate. We went with 2 adults and 4 children between 2 and 12 for 85 euros. I recommend the black beer, my husband the IPA. Great here: you can watch the beer being bottled and look over the master brewer's shoulder while it's brewing, thanks to the glass brewery.

Great brewery. It has everything that makes a brewery. Good food and above all very good beer. The light tastes wonderful. Nice and tasty. Slightly sweet, but not too much. I would have liked to drink more 😅 For dinner we ordered the dish of the day (Kassler with fried potatoes, sauerkraut and red wine sauce). It was excellent. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly. We would definitely come again.

The food is simply great and great value for money. The service was very good and attentive and you felt very comfortable. The ambience is reminiscent of your own living room and you feel great 😊 Large portions are also highly recommended but the price is technically great 👍

Horny butze awesome beer and crazy meat

We ate knuckle and the burger. We liked it very much, but unfortunately the skin on the knuckle was visually crispy but unfortunately not in reality! The skin was wobbly and something far from crispy. It's a shame ☹️. The beer (dark and light) tasted very good and we both really liked it. Prices are reasonable. We paid around €53 for 3 large beers + knuckle and burger and were more than full. We would come again.

Great gastronomy, open at 12:00 and almost couldn't get a table. Jenny the waitress is very nice and fast service. The beer tastes fantastic.

We were there as a large group (with a reservation) and were very disappointed. A blonde waitress served us unkindly for no reason and put the food carelessly on the table without handing it out. I don't go to a restaurant to be treated rudely and have to carry out services myself! In addition, the staff could not tell different beer and cola orders (normal and light) apart. Thanks to Marcel, who tried to give us a good feeling.

Great brew house with traditional copper stills on show. Nicely set out dining areas. Excellent service and food. We went in two occasions. The wheat beer is really good. The pork knuckle was huge as was the tafelspitz. At lunchtime we had the vegetable pizza which was very different, no traditional pizza base, rosti potato base, topped with a ratatouille of vegetables. Very good. Husband had the solyanka soup which was a thick sour vegetable broth and delicious. Wished I had ordered it instead of the pizza it was so tasty. Highly recommend.

Yesterday we spontaneously went to the Brauhaus Lüdde (Quedlinburg) and were lucky to get a seat at the counter. Reservation is highly recommended as it is always very busy. The food was great, the beer tasted sensational, the service was attentive and quick. The atmosphere is rustic. I have never visited a more beautiful brewery. We will definitely come back when we are in the area again. Thank you for the lovely evening.

A really very cozy brewery. Rustic interior design and an inviting beer garden. The meals tasted delicious. And the beer wasn't bad either. The waitress did her job but could have been more attentive. All in all, this brewery is highly recommended.

Unfortunately we can't rate the food because it was fully booked. Nevertheless, it is nicely decorated and inviting. It's definitely worth a look inside and if you're lucky you'll also get a beer.

Quaint brewery with a pleasant atmosphere. The food was good and the price/performance ratio was okay. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have enough staff and it seemed a bit sloppy at times. Lots of people running around but feeling like they don't get much done. When the store was packed it looked a bit chaotic. Toilets are clean.

Rustic inn in a modern brewery style. Main courses are hearty and around 20 euros. I have never eaten a larger pork knuckle anywhere! The staff is rather young and very friendly. All in all, a place that is fun to visit and can therefore be recommended.

It is not possible to evaluate the quality of food and drinks as we were unfortunately not given the opportunity to do so. The staff were unanimously unable to offer us a place or at least show interest. Unfortunately, we were no longer allowed to enter the upper floor, even though there were obviously still free spaces there. It's a shame, the ambience would certainly have contributed to a nice memory of Quedlinburg's gastronomy.

The only bad thing is getting a place. Otherwise it is great in terms of taste and price. The beer is the second best in Germany and really recommended.

Were there on Tuesday at 5:20 p.m. and asked for a place for two. In the outdoor area, most of the empty tables had a reservation. There was apparently no space inside the brewery, even though it wasn't full. We were rudely rejected, which was a shame because the ambience of the brewery appealed to us. My wife said they didn't want us here 🤷‍♂️ So the service could be a bit friendlier, with around 40 seats everything was empty.

Brewery with good food in an old half-timbered house. Very cozy and quaint. The food was very good and the portions were more than sufficient. We came here again the next day because it tasted so good and we wanted to try other dishes. The beer, however, wasn't quite our thing, but the malt beer was great. Service was super fast and attentive and nice. Weather permitting, you can also eat outside under the shady trees. The restaurant is definitely recommended.

We were at Brauhaus Lüdde in June 2024, we really enjoyed it, great brewery atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. Despite many table reservations, we were still able to get a table for two hours. The beer is tasty, the food is hearty, tasty, rustic and plentiful. The beer meat in the black beer brew tasted excellent. The “Lüdde” brewery is really worth a visit!

We three girls from Berlin were very impressed by the brewery: beautiful interior design, very friendly and fast service from Marcel and his blonde colleague. The beer meat with dumplings and red cabbage tasted excellent. Only the portions were about a third too much for us. The prices are reasonable. There are enough toilets, simple but clean.

Celebrated my birthday here today with my family. We had beer meat twice, grilled chicken breast fillet, pork fillet and the Brauhaus lüdde burger. It was very tasty and I can only recommend this restaurant. You can eat inside and outside. And if you can't manage to eat, you can have it packed up. Very nice staff.

They actually do NOT serve food until the listed hours. We went one hour before close and they would not serve us food.

Good local German restaurant and brewery. Apart from the regular menu, there are daily specials. A few vegetarian options available. The portions are huuuuge! Everything was fresh and tasty. The staff was helpful and friendly, especially Nicki! Cards are accepted, but only from 30 euros. Dogs are welcome 🥰 don’t miss out especially on the brown beer!

I recently visited Brauhaus Lüdde and overall it was a good experience. The food was tasty, but the portions were almost too big. It might be difficult for someone with a normal appetite to finish everything. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully designed and there is a pleasant atmosphere. It's also very cozy outside, ideal for a relaxing evening. A small disadvantage was that it took a while until the menus were brought and the order was taken. However, the food was served quickly, which was positive. Another problem was the enormous number of bees. There were so many that it became really disturbing, especially when sitting outside. All in all, Brauhaus Lüdde is a nice place with good food, but a few things could be improved.

We have one as a family. meters of beer. That's 10 beers 0.2L each. Great service, nice staff. You can also take the beer with you in a 0.5L bottle. Beer tastes really good and can highly recommend the ale beer.
