A very nice atmosphere and fantastic food, with particularly good and very funny service 😃. Soljanka, schnitzel, brawn and trout (we didn't eat anything else) are highly recommended, as with nuts.

This restaurant is not recommended, if you arrive and ask for seats, after waiting for about 5 minutes, you will be answered "Yes hhhh" and when you turn around you will be told "well, that's fine" in a tone that is simple super. As far as the choice of food is concerned, it is very disappointing when there is a large carp pond in front of the house and not one in it or on the menu. The previous owners had more to offer.

There may not be rooms, but everything else is wonderful! You should order a table in advance! It's very cozy there and the food is really well prepared! Thumbs very high

Visually appealing and hungry at 5 p.m., we headed to this restaurant. The search for a parking space was very difficult, as only a handful were available and still occupied. Unfortunately we couldn't eat because all the tables were reserved. The young lady at the front desk smiled and said, We have to order in advance. I replied kindly that as a vacationer I find that very unfortunate because I never know where I am at what time since I'm on vacation. So we left. It's a shame that they didn't even bother to check whether reserved guests would come at a later date to serve us.

Nice restaurant in the countryside next to the fish pond. The ambience in the ancient mill is very successful. But we sat outside in very summery weather. If you're hungry and want to eat fish, you're well served here. However, I didn't find the cheese-tomato breading on the trout to be a success because this breading flattened out all the other side dishes in terms of taste. My wife's fish dish with spinach was also okay, but overall too simple and without any special flavor nuances. As North German fish eaters, we expected more based on the reviews and overall the price was too high for the food on offer. We got the very best fish here on vacation (July 2024) in Quedlinburg in the Fischkate. The presentation of the food and successful taste variations (we were here twice) were also outstanding for us as passionate fish eaters.

You can eat very well there there are large portions.

Everything fresh and delicious.

The restaurant was recommended to us by friends and we were absolutely not disappointed. Ambience very rustic but cozy, service very friendly and accommodating. Schnitzel with potatoes at absolute grandma level, especially recommended if not everyone is a fish eater. The trout was obviously fresh and perfectly prepared, definitely recommended if you like fish. We would like to pass on the recommendation!

The restaurant is a bit hidden by a small lake...but you can drive there and park there for free...service, food, etc. was all great and you can happily recommend this idyllic place...

A nice, rustic inn, fast and very friendly service, even though it was quite full. It was a wonderful lunch. Sometimes you could hear the whistle of the Harz narrow-gauge railway. A tip, just call beforehand and ask if there is still space. (No reservations can be made outside.) Thank you for the lovely, delicious lunch.

We went here to eat during our vacation in Stecklenberg / Harz. Very nice historic restaurant. Furnished with a lot of love. We ate fish, which was very tasty and a well-prepared portion. This restaurant is highly recommended. We had a lovely evening.

We have eaten the fish platter here twice with our practice, which was actually very good. Anyone who knows me knows that I rarely eat out at restaurants. The reasons are always the same: industrial, prefabricated products, the quality is often inferior, hygienic conditions are catastrophic and when there is really fresh food available, it is the cheapest you can buy. Of course, the restaurateur has to earn money and most people are not prepared to pay appropriate money for good food. During my studies I worked as a chef and know the conditions very well. Of course there are exceptions but they are rare. At least when it comes to the fish platter, I can warmly recommend Bueckemuehle. The service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is quaint and rustic.

We came in the middle of the evening business and still got a comfortable place by the pond without making a reservation. Many regional, freshly prepared fish are offered here, as well as fresh brawn and salads. We were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back.

We are very positively surprised about the quality of the food. Everything freshly prepared, fresh mushrooms, fresh snow peas, the schnitzel is really more than delicious. Very plentiful on the plate. Pleasant service, very attentive. Really recommended!

Stopped spontaneously, got a table for 6 people and the food was delicious and very plentiful. Nice quaint restaurant! Especially for fish lovers!

Were there again after years, but it hasn't lost any of its charm, and the food was mmmmmm, delicious.

We were there for the Ascension Day around 1 p.m. and stood in front of the sign, please wait, they will be seated, after 10 minutes of waiting we were told by two visitors, just sit down at one of the many free tables... we did that with our Labrador Beer garden, after another 10 minutes and repeated ignorance from the waitresses, a small, dark-haired one came with 2 cards, asked us if we hadn't read the sign, we said yes, but the men said that they also just... then came when they said If they jump out of the window, do they do that too... and if the table is reserved? Well then we leave again and sorry but the waitresses just left us sitting and ignored us, after another 15 minutes and no order was taken, they walked past us 10 times without looking and then we left again, although we just wanted to drink an Ascension beer , nothing more and other guests were already lining up in front of the sign. You shouldn't recommend the Büggemühle if you want to have a nice day, the staff is below the belt, especially this young dark-haired lady.

All you can really say about this restaurant is that they no longer need it! We've been here a lot before, but unfortunately not anymore after the last event! The food is good when it comes, but the service is terrible! Therefore I have to adjust my original rating! I've never experienced anything like this in a restaurant and I don't want to experience it again! I would put a waiter like that right in front of the door and the chef doesn't seem to know what's appropriate either! My recommendation: it's better not to come here if you don't want to experience a surprise!

We passed the restaurant on a hike. You can't get fish much fresher than this and the way it's prepared is sensational. If you then take into account the ambience, it's simply great. I advise everyone who can do it to go!

Very nicely located restaurant. Specialties fish dishes. Unfortunately there is no chance of getting a place without prior reservation. So we won't go to this place again when we decide to do something at short notice.

Quaint, cozy restaurant with excellent cuisine. Can/must recommend. BUT: Dogs are NOT allowed inside "out of consideration for other guests", while loud, running around, whining children have to be tolerated...

I have never met such staff before. We overlooked the sign, you will be waiting here, and this was expressed loudly. Even if you order sparkling water, the water is straight from the tap and the salad is sugary sweet. The dust is an unbelievable 2 mm high. Nobody will see us again.

Restaurant invites you to reminisce. Very well-kept, lovingly furnished small dining rooms in a historic ambience. Varied menu. The food was excellent, very good combination of dishes. Luckily we had booked a table beforehand. Please be patient. It's not without reason that the restaurant is very busy. There were five of us and everyone chose something different from the wide range of dishes on offer. But whatever it was, it was MEGA!!!!! We came especially from Leipzig. We have been here before and each time we are impressed with the performance, service and price. It is worth it in any case. 👍😁

Very quaint, cozy dining room, excellent food that justifies the high prices.

I have no idea how you can make a reservation here when no one has answered the phone for 3 days. The staff was immediately annoyed when we asked for space. I then pointed out that I hadn't reached anyone by phone and everything was fine. So I'm wondering how to get to these stars even though it's impossible to reserve seats there. People just go somewhere else where you take the money and the staff is also friendly.

We travel a lot in the Harz and always have our dog with us and there has never been a problem in restaurants - except here! If you can't even sit outside when it's 20° and it's sunny, it's really not difficult to spend your money somewhere else.

Unique ambience, very good food

I love this restaurant with its beautiful ambience. When I'm near Gernrode with friends, we go to Bückemühle to eat. The dishes are very tasty. You can also enjoy excellent fish dishes here. This place is a delight for the taste buds and the ambience for the eyes. The service is also very friendly and accommodating. This restaurant is really highly recommended. We will be back. Unfortunately I don't know the rooms because I never stayed there. I only live about 30 minutes away from there. If you are nearby, I recommend this restaurant, but make sure you reserve it. Because the restaurant is very popular.

Great place for a family holiday. Cosy interior with many colourful details (e.g. cuckoo clock). Friendly staff, polite service. But the main thing is the first-class cuisine. I highly recommend trying the trout (forelle)!

Wir waren zum Mittagessen da. Das Essen- Barschfilet, war lecker und reichlich, dass Personal freundlich und schnell, obwohl das Restaurant sehr voll war. Das Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert. Sollten wir mal wieder in der Gegend sein, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Wir waren letztes Wochenende nur zum Essen dort. Deshalb kann ich über den Zustand der Zimmer nichts weiter schreiben. Das Essen war gut und lecker. Sehr große Portionen zu einen akzeptablen und gerechtfertigten Preis. Schönes Ambiente was im dunklen auch gut beleuchtet ist. Kommen gerne wieder.

Urige Gaststätte. Kleiner Angelteich, flaches, Dunkles Restaurant. Hat was spezielles. Essen war sehr lecker und ausreichend. Von Fisch bis Steak alles lecker. Rustikale Einrichtung. Super tip. Im Dunkeln etwas schlecht zu finden. 🎅

Wir fahren jedes Jahr mindestens 1x in die Bückemühle.

Wir waren hier schon öfters essen und sind jedes Mal rundherum zufrieden, das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und das Essen ist reichlich und spitze. Am Service könnte man am man an manchen Stellen noch ein bisschen feilen. Spontan ist es eher schwierig einen Tisch zu bekommen.

Wir können nur das Restaurant bewerten, da wir nur zum Essen da waren. Das allerdings war außerordentlich lecker: exzellent gekochtes, leckeres Gemüse, auf den Punkt gebratener, frischer Fisch, locker ausreichende Portionen, gut eingeschenktes Bier, tolles, rustikales Ambiente. Ein besonderes Kompliment an das Personal: trotz wirklich vollem Haus sind Sie freundlich und entspannt geblieben. Vielen Dank - wir kommen wieder!

Uriges Restaurant mit liebevoll und frisch zubereiteten Speisen und hervorragendem Servicepersonal. Die Fischgerichte suchen in der Umgebung vergeblich Konkurrenz. Aber auch Fleischesser und Vegetarier werden in der Karte fündig. Die Portionen sind wirklich groß. Die Preise haben im letzten Jahr wie überall angezogen, werden aber durch die gute Zubereitung gerechtfertigt. Die Umgebung bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen im Harz. Zu den Zimmern der Pension kann ich nichts sagen. Gern wieder.

Ein sehr angenehmer Ort, tolles Ambiente. Im Vordergrund des Speisenangebotes stehen Fischgerichte, die sind wirklich sehr gut zurecht gemacht. Große Portionen, die ihren Preis aber durchaus wert sind. Auf Änderungswünsche wird freundlich und zuvorkommend reagiert. Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist sehenswert, es ist der historische Bezug zur einstigen Mühle dargestellt. Die Gaststube verteilt sich auf unterschiedliche Räume. Auch auf den Aussenplätzen, die reichlich vorhanden sind, kann man sein köstliches Essen sehr schön genießen. Wer Fischgerichte mag, der sollte einen Besuch in der Bückemühle nicht verpassen!

Meine Familie und ich waren vergangen Samstag (Sep. 2023) dort. Eigentlich habe ich nur gute Erfahrungen dort gemacht. Klar die Preise sind nichts für jeden Geldbeutel, aber in der heutigen Zeit ist das auch kein Wunder. Dennoch kann ich für das Geld einen 1a Service erwarten, denn damit verdienen sie nunmal ihren Lebensunterhalt. Denn wir bekamen an den Abend kaum Beachtung. Die Gläser waren beispielsweise leer. Auch was wir überhaupt nicht angemessen fanden, dass eine Kellnerin in Leggins bedient hat. Ebenso, hatten wir ein gut halbes Gericht zurück gehen lassen müssen, da es zu fettig und zu süß war. Daraufhin kam nur: "Ich gebe das so weiter an die Küche." Aber, eine angemessene Lösung oder Entschädigung gab es leider nicht. Es war diesmal sehr enttäuschen. Schade! Aber es kommen ja genügend Touristen, dass man sich nicht für solche Kritisierungen im Hier und Jetzt kümmern muss.

Wunderschöne Gaststätte mit tollen Freisitzen, das Essen ist große Klasse, sehr schmackhaft, liebevoll angerichtet und große Portionen. Die Bedienung ist total schnell und freundlich. Hier fühlt man sich wohl und geht satt und zufrieden wieder nach Hause.

Der Service und die Freundlichkeit sind einfach super und das Essen hervorragend.

Tolles Fischrestaurant, wo man natürlich auch an die nicht Fischesser gedacht hat. Gemütlichkeit und Erholung wird hier groß geschrieben. Draußenam Teich oder am Wasserrad , drinnen rustikal gemütlich. Egal wo man sitzt einfach schön. Leckeres Essen und super Service Personal. Immer gerne wieder ein Besuch wert.
