Excellent menus and very good service.

A warm welcome as always, and excellent service. Now in autumn, it's mushroom season, with chanterelles and porcini mushrooms. The chanterelles tasted very good, cleanly cleaned, and no trace of sand. We Prussians are looking forward to our next visit.

As always, everything was perfect. The service, the quality of the food, and the calmness conveyed by the service were all excellent. The quality of the food and the value for money were absolutely fantastic. We'd love to come back!

Very cozy little restaurant. Old style furnishings with glass chandeliers. Wuppertal plays a big role in decoration. You should make a table reservation.

Very tasty food in a nice ambience

We were here as a small group. The food is excellent. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. Delicious, visually appealing, and plentiful. From the appetizer to the main course and dessert—everything was top-notch. The service, in my opinion, left a lot of room for improvement. Unfortunately, this also includes the manager, whose way of addressing guests I (and some other guests) found more than a little unusual. When I'm asked if I haven't chosen something to eat yet, even though I've been sitting there long enough, it's a disgrace. Especially in a small group, you certainly have a lot to talk about. Waiting over 15 minutes for a drink (non-alcoholic beer) several times is also borderline. The ambiance also doesn't match the truly high-quality food. Although the group (as I was the host, I can judge this) was impressed with the food, I wouldn't eat here again. In the end, the whole package has to be just right, and that's unfortunately not the case here. It's a shame, really.

I can't say much about the food, but as a young man, I was allowed to start an apprenticeship there, but it never happened because I was chasing €400 a month, and I really wasn't treated well there. I would advise all young people who want to become chefs not to start there. I have very negative memories of the Müllers as people.

The food was very good, a feast for the eyes. The service and ambiance were also very good, and the value for money was good. We were there with a large group for Christmas dinner. The menu was good, the staff were knowledgeable, and the interior was stylish and the decor was very well-kept, and Wuppertal was a treat.

The food was delicious, but the portions were a bit too small. Service was good and I like the ambience Ps: The Rijoa paste goes very well with rump steak.

The restaurant itself is nice and you can tell that you are in Wuppertal (the suspension railway can be seen everywhere). Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service and food: we waited over an hour for our starter and the soup was lukewarm. When we complained about this, we were told that we could have said something, but we didn't want to wait any longer. That evening the chanterelles were out, as was the beef fillet and the rump steak - so I had no choice but to eat schnitzel. My friend wanted fried potatoes instead of fries, but we were told that it would be too time-consuming for the cook... by bending and breaking we got fried potatoes. Due to the poor service, we were given drinks - but that didn't save the evening. We won't visit the restaurant again.

We ate there for the second time while passing through and it was excellent again. Everything is just right here, nice conversations with the employees, a great menu and a nice ambience rounded off the evening. Since we are natives of Wuppertal, a feeling of home arose. We'd love to come back.

A very classic bourgeois restaurant in every respect. Very self-confident hosts. Overall performance in school grades: 3 to 4.

Visit on April 11th, 2024 for a rehearsal dinner. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The cordon bleu was OK. I personally found the arrangement of the dishes on the plate (cordon bleu and braised potatoes as well as a slice of cucumber and a slice of carrot) to be unappealing. There was also a salad. I had ordered Prosecco - sparkling wine was served to me with the words "it's the same thing". The attached photos say more than words. Even if you don't recognize it: there is a Wiener Schnitzel on the plate in photo number 1.

Nice cozy restaurant. Staff generally friendly. However, one had the feeling that regular guests received a warmer welcome. The times between arrival and service were relatively long. There were apparently only 6 menus for all guests. Drinks were reordered mainly at the request of the guests. The food tasted good, but the portions were very small.

Overwhelmed by everything. Nice service. Before that, a delicious greeting from the kitchen. The rump steak was on point. Interesting menu. Gladly again. Highly recommended

Today we went to Müller's again with 8 people for "Christmas dinner". Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. Clear range of dishes, but something for everyone, including our vegetarians. Freshly and deliciously prepared. Good value for money. Koch also came out of the kitchen and asked if everything was okay. I like that kind of thing. All in all: We were very satisfied again and can recommend “Müllers” with a clear conscience.

We had one of the best Christmas parties here, the service and food were amazing. I can only recommend it and will definitely come back privately.

Schlechter Service. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Der Service eine Frechheit Man zeigte uns , das man kein Interesse am Gast hat. Selten so schlecht bedient worden. Es gab auch keine Getränkekarte, Der Wein wurde einem wie Wasser eingeschenkt. Man vergaß eine Flasche Wasser zu bringen. Der Kommentar dann brauchen Sie auch weniger bezahlen. Eine Kreditkarte wurde auch nicht anerkannt.

Wir sind jedes Jahr einmal beim Gänsebrustessen. Die Küche ist hervorragend, die Besitzer sind mit Freude dabei und die Getränke sind gepflegt...

Insgesamt ein nettes Restaurant, mit feiner, gutbürgerlicher Küche. Das Menü ist angenehm kurz und stimmig (leider fehlt ein passendes Kinderangebot). Das Essen war hervorragend, sehr lecker und auch liebevoll angerichtet. Wir waren Sonntagmittag dort, das Restaurant war etwa zur Hälfte gefüllt. Die Chefin begrüßt die ihr anscheinend bekannten Stammgäste mit großer Herzlichkeit. Mit drei Kindern fühlten wir uns allerdings nicht besonders willkommen.

Wir waren mit Freunden am Samstag Abend dort und es war rundum gut. Der Service war aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich und das Essen war spitze. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Ambiente ist ein Bischen in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Essen und der Service entschädigen für alles.

Ein kleines feines Restaurant auf den Höhen von Wuppertal und wir waren bereits 4 oder 5 Mal dort essen und es ist jedes Mal ein Genuss für den Gaumen.

Sehr gutes Essen, der Service ist sehr gut. Es blieben keine wünsche offen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tisch am Ostermontag war ohne Reservierung noch frei - hätte mich mehr wundern sollen. Zur Vorentlastung muss ich sagen, dass wir einen Tag zuvor aus Frankreich zurückgekehrt waren. Beim Hereinkommen war ein Geruch nach altem Fett unverkennbar. Wir wurden anfangs erwartungsgemäß bedient. Es gab eine ausgedünnt übersichtliche Karte: Auf der einen Seite Spargel zu einem aus unserer Sicht deutlich überteuertem Preis (250 gr für € 21,50). Wir wählten aus für je € 7,50: - Karotten-Ingwer-Suppe - Spargelcremesuppe Die Suppen waren o.k. aber sehr sahne- / butterlastig und überteuert. Als Hauptspeise: Lachssteak mit Spinat und Kartoffeln € 23,50 Schnitzel Wiener Art mit Pommes und Salat € 22,50 (Salat war gut) Portionen waren durchaus übersichtlich und eindeutig aus dem Tiefkühlbereich. Qualität wie in einem besseren Immbissrestaurant. Als „Gruß aus der Küche“ gab es zweimal ein ‚Etwas‘ im Speckmantel. Der Speckmantel war trocken und teils angebrannt; das Ganze war mit Standard Mayonnaise angefüllt. Mein Partner als Vegetarier bekam nichts; wurde auch nicht thematisiert. Zufriedenheit mit unserem gesamten Essen wurde nicht nachgefragt, sondern mit merkwürdigen Kommentierungen selbsterfüllend festgestellt. Die Zahlung war dann besonders absurd: Unsere junge Kellnerin durfte nicht kassieren; die Dame des Hauses kam mit der Rechnung und zog ein mieses Gesicht, als ich eine Kreditkarte zückte. Die folgende Kommunikation erfolgte unfreundlich und ohne Bitte und Danke. Nach einiger Zeit kam heraus, dass es nur EC-Zahlung gab - Kommentar des „Patron“ aus dem Hintergrund: „Kreditkarte ist viel zu teuer“. Für uns war diese Mittagessen angesichts der gelieferten Qualität viel zu teuer. Nie wieder! Das ist wirklich teuer!

Upon entering the place, we were hit by the distinctive smell of rancid fryer oil. My shirt still stinks an hour after leaving! The food was awful and hopelessly overpriced. I had a mediocre carrot soup for €7.50 (half bowl) and then the over-fried salmon 'steaks' for €23. The 'steaks' were three tiny morsels that tasted like frozen salmon from the local discounter that were simply chucked into the deep frier, overcooked, and just awful. They were accompanied by some soggy little potatoes and suspiciously slimy spinach and heavy cream sauce. The ambiance is like a cartoon depiction of what a French restaurant in the 1960s would look like. The decor consisted of tens of schnapps bottles on assorted tables and on the bar. Even worse than all this was the 'service' who were preoccupied with setting up tables for the dinner seatings rather than concentrating on the current lunch clients. The 'chef' came out dressed in an absurd chef's uniform that seemed like a sad attempt to create the illusion that this was a classy place. After we declined dessert, the mood tipped with the waitress, and from then on out we were the enemy clients! We tried to pay by credit card and were bruskly informed that they only accepted cash or debit card. The 'chef' insisted that credit card fees were too expensive for his restaurant (we were both thinking how expensive bad food and lost customers were!). No 'please' or 'thank you' of course! In the end, we paid and walked out without getting the cheap little chocolates the other patrons were fortunate enough to be given... never again.

Wir waren an einem Samstag Abend mit fünf Leuten dort. Wir saßen sehr gemütlich. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker. Die beiden Herren hatten eine leckere Kürbis - Ingwer - Suppe vorweg. Dann hatten wir alle verschiedene Hauptgänge. Ich hatte göttliche Rote Beete Knödel auf Curryschaum mit Blattspinat. Richtig richtig lecker. Dazu einen schönen Cabernet Sauvignon. Perfekt. Ganz enorm fand ich - dadurch dass ich ein vegetarisches Gericht gewählt hatte - bekam ich einen vegetarischen Gruß aus der Küche, die anderen einen normalen. Das fand ich richtig lieb. Als Dessert hatten wir Creme brulee und Rotweincreme. Auch sehr schmackhaft. Ein guter Espresso rundete den gelungenen Abend ab.

Für mich seit Jahren eines der besten Restaurants im Bergischen Land. Mehr Herz und Brennen für den Job geht nicht. Nur vegetarisch dürfte es gern etwas mehr sein.

Freunde hatten uns hierhin mitgenommen. Wir waren begeistert, tolle Küche, tolle Gerichte. Selten so ein saftiges Kotelett und so raffinierte Kaiserschmarrn genossen. Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre. Der Service war, entgegen einiger Rezensionen, aufmerksam und freundlich. Die fehlende Getränkekarte ist mir allerdings auch unangenehm aufgefallen. Nach einem Parkplatz musste man etwas suchen. Vegetarische Gerichte auf der Karte deutlich in der Minderheit.

Gemütliches und hochwertiges eingerichtetes Restaurant mit guter Küche, aufmerksames Personal und noch fairen Preisen.

Gestern war ich zum ersten Mal zufällig dort und kann es nur jedem empfehlen. Der Gruß der Küche zum Anfang, war wie das Rumpsteak, dieses war auf den Punkt gebraten, und das Parfait im Nachgang einfach nur absolut perfekt zubereitet. Einfach nur sehr lecker und alles absolut perfekt zubereitet. So geht man definitiv gerne Essen.

Ich habe hier ausgezeichnet gegessen. Die Gerichte wurden optisch sehr ansprechend serviert und schmeckten sehr gut. Die Portionsgröße war gut und die Preise angemessen. Hier war ich nicht das letzte Mal.

Traumhaft gut das Lammcarré und die perfekte Crème Brulée. Nochmal? Wohl eher nicht.
