A very nice location for a Christmas market. There is something for every taste…

Since it was my first time visiting the Christmas market, I thought it was very nicely done, small but nice. The mill coffee is rustic, but the homemade almond cake and cookies are super delicious. The farm shop with home-baked bread is also really great. Thank you that there are people who still make homemade food like this 🙏😊.

So all in all it was too expensive, then we had a friend in a wheelchair with us, we were treated so unfriendly, the look alone said it all, it's a shame, we would have liked to come for breakfast more often, but unfortunately not under these circumstances.

We had breakfast here. Unfortunately only available after pre-ordering. Everything was there, a large cup of coffee costs extra. Nice ambience!

Overall it was good, but: 1. The orange juice is bitter with bile 2. The knives are a disaster. Cutting rolls is hard work and cutting through ham may be impossible. 3. The service is very hard, but we were one of the first to arrive but were almost the last to receive our food. And the scrambled eggs we ordered came very late. 4. If the coffee were not only served in cups, but basically in pots, a lot of time would be saved. The jugs could be placed on the tables during preparation. 5. And multi-tier serving carts could also significantly reduce the rush. To avoid rattling, you can attach appropriate wheels and cover the surfaces with anti-slip mats. If there are few staff, this would be a way to reduce the workload to a minimum. 6. If I order a table for 9 people, then I expect ONE table or corresponding information that this is not possible. Nevertheless, it was a nice stay and we would like to come back

We often go to the Mühlenviertel to drink coffee, I can only recommend coffee and cake. Delicious!

Very nice environment. Service tried hard, but a bit chaotic and time-consuming.

The restaurant is nice and the baked goods are really great, unfortunately the older lady who worked in the bread shop around 2 p.m. today was completely wrong. Rude, unfriendly and anything but welcoming. I can understand frustration when your life isn't going well, but then you can't work in customer service and bluff people...

was invited to breakfast, what was really great were the rolls and bread. Cheese, sausage and other side dishes were fresh, but just like you get every day at home. Not a highlight but okay. What's not working at all is the staff, unfriendly is a nice wording. A window we had opened had to be closed immediately despite the bad air in the room. When I politely asked why, the answer was because it was like that and she said it... without words. Unfortunately, one of us was stung by a wasp and we were denied a cooling option, saying there was neither a cold pack nor ice cubes in the house. Sorry, I can't imagine a restaurant without ice cubes. We won't be coming back and won't recommend it to anyone else.

Very tasty and beautifully prepared table buffet. Very nice service and rustic atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We were here for breakfast... it was really great. Sausage, cheese, jam and bread very tasty and regional. We will be back . Thumbs up for this great breakfast 😜

great atmosphere, small mini menu; From the glass bakery, cakes, sandwiches, pretzels... Plus a selection of beers and alcohol. Drinks. When it gets busy, the service tends to be overloaded, which results in annoying waiting times. Right next door there is a small mill shop that invites you to go shopping... The fantastic ambience of the museum next to it completes the whole thing.

We went to the Christmas market and then had dinner in a very cozy, rustic restaurant. I can only recommend.

It's a beautiful facility. All mills can be visited. The Russian church is also worth seeing. The peace bell for reunification is here. It weighs 10 tons. The restaurant is also very nice and the food is ok. Unfortunately there are few visitors at the moment. That's a shame because everything has to be kept privately.

Das Mühlenviertel ist schön gelegen im Mühlenmuseum Gifhorn. Sowohl Draußen als auch drinnen schön und Uhrig eingerichtet. Allerdings dauert der Service unfassbar lange. Besonders freundlich ist die Bedienung, die scheinbar alleine an Samstag Nachmittag da ist, nicht. Eine ziemliche Enttäuschung war auch das Landbrot mit Landkäse und Landbutter. Ich hätte bei dieser Bezeichnung nicht an 2 Brote mit einem Winzigen Klecks Butter sowie 3 dünnen Scheiben Billig-käse aus der plastikverpackung gedacht, sondern an guten Regionalen käse. Für 4 Euro doch ziemlich frech. Um 4 Uhr nachmittags war der angepriesene Obstkuchen auch schon ausverkauft. Der stattdessen bestellte Butterkuchen war allerdings sehr lecker und mit 2 Euro auch günstig.

Fand ich Recht langweilig . Da die Wege sehr weit aus einander lagen. Die Mühlenräder liefen nicht. In manchen Mühlen war eine Ausstellung. Empfehlenswert ist das Resurant dort konnte man zu schauen wie das Brot und Kuchen hergestellt bzw.gebacken wird. Man kann auch draußen sitzen. Heute war auch Life Musik mit einerTanzkroppe da.

Wunderschöne Ausstellung. Diese ist sehr zu empfehlen. 👍

Sehr schönes Gelände und die Mühlen sind alle sehr schön. Man fühlt sich gleich wie in dem entsprechenden Land.

Wer Gifhorn besucht, sollte sich auf jeden Fall auch das Mühlenmuseum anschauen.

Déjeuner dehors à l'ombre d'un arbre majestueux sur une table en bois brut, le cadre était vraiment très agréable. Les plats proposés sont simples: assiettes de charcuterie et/ou fromage et des parts de gâteaux. C'est bon et sain. Bien sûr on peut boire de la bière ainsi que des schorle bio.

Essen war sehr lecker, frisches Brot und frischer Kuchen. Servicedamen waren sehr nett.

Ein rustikales Kaffee / Restaurant mit sehr netter Bedienung, meine Frau hatte einen sehr leckeres Stück Hausgemachten Kirschkuchen, ich eine wirklich gute Kartoffelsuppe. Da werden wir bestimmt wiederkommen.

Sehr ansprechende Gastronomie, unbedingt den Kuchen aus dem Holzofen probieren, mein Favorit ist das selbstgebackene Brot aus dem Holzofen mit hauseigenem Griebenschmalz
