The individual DRK kitchen locations also supply the kindergartens in Isenbüttel. The food is neither healthy nor varied. It's a lot of pre-prepared food, with pasta at least once a week. Sometimes it seems as if they don't differentiate between home and kindergarten deliveries: stews, overcooked meat, etc. The ordering system is extremely inflexible. You generally can't cancel your order in the morning if your child is sick. At first, I always picked up the food when our child was sick and it couldn't be canceled. However, in those cases, I ultimately preferred to cook it myself (see photo: currywurst, canned vegetables, powdered mashed potatoes, and ketchup).
