Been there a few times. And it was always absolutely delicious! Whether at lunchtime, in the afternoon for a snack or in the evening with a group. The food and drinks are absolutely great. My favorites are summer rolls with scampi, soups (it doesn't matter which one, I've tried them all), and I've always been very happy with the sushi (I've tried many and it's always great!) The homemade teas are also great. Ambience great, in summer you can also sit on the terrace, open all day, staff always very friendly and attentive. My favorite sushi far and wide!

I received a €20 voucher for my birthday that expired a month ago. They didn't accept it when paying. I think it's almost criminal, because he was paid and the people have already taken the money. Customer service is something different and we weren't treated friendly either. Too bad.

I appreciate the German / English language menu. The selection of food is great because they have something for everybody. It's a great spot for groups, a date, or to go by yourself. They have their own large parking lot as well. Also, a delicious selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Mr. Lian is a fantastic spot with an inviting atmosphere and attentive staff. The crunchy sushi here is a must-try – perfectly balanced and delicious! I also highly recommend the salmon tartar, which is fresh and flavorful. Overall, a great place for sushi lovers, with high-quality food and a warm ambiance. Will definitely be coming back!

This place wowed me. I've lived in the area for almost 3 years, and this was my first visit. I only ordered a takeaway, but while waiting for my food, I was watching the food being delivered to the tables. I couldn't say how long people had to wait. My food took around 20 minutes, but the food being delivered looked totally amazing. The presentation was spectacular, with the attention to detail being made for every dish going out. I told my husband that we really have to come here for dinner, soon!

Sushi and Phobo the food is super in this restaurant

The food is really delicious! No matter whether noodles, sushi or soups, simply good! However, there were problems paying with the vouchers that we were given as a gift (we mentioned this right when we ordered!) First it didn't "work", then only one would work... We really didn't think that was OK! After a lot of back and forth and several complaints, another employee came and then everything went smoothly. Therefore 2 stars deducted for the service.

This was my first time visiting Mr. Lian's and it was very nice. I stopped for a late lunch on a Monday, and the restaurant was not very busy. The wait staff was very helpful and the food was very good. I tried one of their drinks, the Ginger Lemonade, which was marvelous.

We had a lovely evening and the food was really, really tasty. The service was always attentive and helpful 😀

We live in Belgium but if we pass by Kaiserslautern, Mr. Lian is a mandatory stop. We haven’t found a place with good sushi like this one (except a food truck in Kauai island very far from Europe).

Situé dans un endroit reculé et improbable, le restaurant vaut néanmoins le détour. Un joli cadre, un service efficace, mais surtout, une excellente cuisine asiatique. Des plats vraiment bons, préparés avec de bons produits... les fritures sont légères, peu grasses... ils proposent de magnifiques plats de sushi (non testés, mais à la présentation impressionnante).

Looks nice on the inside, and the waiters were professional. Unfortunately, I will never eat here again. The menu is not impressive and a bit on the pricey side, (I'm assuming the prices reflect wages for their staff and not for quality of their food.) They had a mix of Vietnamese and Japanese food, (mainly sushi.) I tried both. Their Vietnamese spring/summer roll appetizers were really small for the price, and the sauce made up for the lack of seasoning. Their sushi roll was wrapped in a Vietnamese rice wrap! Bad idea since the wraps stuck together, and the sushi rice was plain. The quality of their sushi is the very same quality I get at the grocery stores! People need to stop over rating these Vietnamese-Japanese fusion restaurants!

Please don’t go here for dinner. Two times now. Never again. Hands down the worst service ever. Incompetence supreme. No management on site.Our meals literally went to another table-who took them and they had no clue. 90 minutes later they asked us to pay - for what - the meals we never received? Are you kidding me? I hate Mr. Liam. Even with the in person complaint- nothing but a giggle and fake “sorry”. Ewww.

The atmosphere was amazing and so was the food so good! We had the sushi platter for two called the Kamasutra and it was delicious!

I had the grilled duck, and overall, the dish was good. The only minor downside was that the duck was a little gamey, but the dish as a whole was enjoyable. The service was great, and the staff we interacted with were friendly.

Wow, that was delicious! Chicken curry and the Double Crunch roll. Curry was mild l, chicken was tender and tasty! Spring rolls were fried and really good.

The service and everything here is very good, the food is also very tasty, I will come again.

We had a table reservation with “Mr. Lian” in KL-Einsiedlerhof for 6:30 p.m., and fortunately it was prepared for us in time. The restaurant “Mr. Lian” also offers an attractive outdoor terrace at this location. Our table was in the interior, which initially seemed a bit dark when we arrived. On our next visit we will reserve a table on the outside terrace - which is very spacious - as I personally find this more pleasant. Shortly after we sat down, the service appeared and digitally took the drink order, which was served within two minutes. We then placed our food order, which was also recorded digitally by an employee on a small phablet. Since this is my first - but I may say not my last - visit to “Mr. Lian”, the selection of dishes took a little more time due to the wide range of options than one is used to in classic German restaurants with the usual and very well-known dishes. Everything is extremely tasty, and it is very, very difficult to choose, especially on the first visit! Conclusion: Absolute top quality, extremely fresh and excellent in taste! With pleasure, no, very much with pleasure, I will definitely come back! I'm - still - thrilled! That's why I'm happy to give it the full score of 5 stars. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! PS: For those familiar with the area: Directly near the “Hacienda”.

Awesome place for a date night. The restraunt is beautiful inside and romantic. The service is outstanding and extremely professional. The staff there had to be some of the most professional staff I have ever had service from. The food by far is beautiful looking and very tasty. We ordered the mint lemonade and berry alcohol drink, can't remember the name. We got spring rolls, crunchy tiger roll, and the Kamo temptation, which is duck. The food had to be one of the cleanest tasting food I have had for asian food. The dipping sauce for the spring rolls is their own made sauce. You know how most Asian food has a oil or grease feeling when you eat, well this place has zero oil taste with the food. I would recommend this place. The food presentation is one of the most beautiful I have seen. They are fast and amazing.

The staff was very attentive, the menu offered a huge selection of sushi, and it shows they take pride in their restaurant. The only thing I did not like was there was no background music. It was awkwardly quiet inside the restaurant.

This place is top notch! The food was amazing! I got the Double Crunch and it was delicious, recommend. The service was great, the waiter would check on us and help us whenever we needed something. The place is well decorated, when you enter it feels nice, and clean, and the atmosphere is amazing!

Delicious food, drinks and great atmosphere

I have been to the 2 Mr. Lian's in the area and the Ms. Lian in Trier. My server at this location was not attentive. I had to call her over each time. I wanted to order something to go, but she was busy looking at magazines. I paid and left, after someone else helped me. I still left a tip in spite of. The food is always freshly prepared.

Normally we like to go to Mr. Lian, but unfortunately today showed again that you shouldn't be deceived. When we complained that the Crunchy Salomon were completely cold and the food was completely raw, despite the deep fryer, we were told that this was normal. We go to Mr. Lian's every Friday, whether in the city or at the Hermitage. After the complaint we were served food that was dry and inedible. The fish was just disgusting and it didn't taste good. After the first complaint we were ignored and no longer taken into account. When we left and said that the food was very bad today, the owner apparently didn't care. Well in the future only go to the city center, they know something about their trade.

We love to eat here. Sushi is delicious and the presentation is stellar!

Me and my friends been here so many times... love the drinks, Pho is amazing and fall jn love with the sushi...... crunchy salmon is my favorite,,, this my favorite sushi place..

Goed en heerlijk eten. Na bestellen werd er snel geleverd. Bediening was erg vriendelijk. Nadeel dat je alleen contant kon betalen. Toilet kon wel een schoonmaakbeurt gebruiken .

In terms of taste, this was the best sushi I've eaten so far. Definitely again. Furthermore, the main courses were very tasty and of the same standard.

Sushi is always really tasty and super fresh. The selection of vegetarian items is also very good. We come back more often and again 🙂 We don't get full points for the ambience, but that's due to the noise of the guests and the size of the room. It was clean and lovingly furnished.

We were there on Valentine's Day. The restaurant was cutely decorated and the food was fantastic as always. Mr. Lian is one of my absolute favorite restaurants when it comes to Asian cuisine.

You shouldn't be put off by the somewhat shabby external impression of the building - because there is delicious food waiting inside, served by friendly staff with a reasonable waiting time. Went there by chance while driving past, would come back when the opportunity arises.

Freundliche Bedienung. Essen kam sehr schnell und war schön angerichtet. Die Portionen waren ausreichend groß. Wir haben vegan gegessen und konnten einige Gerichte auf der Karte finden. Die Tische stehen teilweise so nah beieinander, dass es etwas unangenehm ist. Wenn das Restaurant gut besucht ist, muss man mit etwas Lautstärke rechnen.

Das Highlight, so liest man, ganz klar das Sushi. Tolles Ambiente, spektakulär angerichtete Gerichte, frisch, es schmeckt. Für meinen Geschmack aber zu geringe Auswahl bei den Fischsorten, es fehlen typische Klassiker. Bei starkem Betrieb werden die Rollen auch zunehmend schludriger zubereitet.

Oft da gewesen, sehr schönes Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente. Der Service ist super, kompetente und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Essen ist sehr lecker. Immer wieder gerne :)

Went for lunch at 1300 on a Saturday and there was hardly anyone else dining. The service was fast and friendly. The hostess and server both greeted us in English and the menu was in English and German. Not only is there great sushi but also tasty non fish dish options. We will definitely be back!

This is my favorite restaurant, it never disappoints. I brought my friend here and she fell in love with the food, atmosphere and service. They have a big sushi selection and I always try something new. Definitely a must! Have been going here for 3 years

Sehr schöne Location, sehr gutes Essen! Ich fand es etwas zu laut und leider sind fast keine Gerichte vegetarisch / vegan da die "Hauptsoße" mit Fisch ist. Hier würde ich eine Alternative empfehlen damit ein breiteres Publikum angesprochen werden kann.
