I would say this place is pretty good. Their sushi is in a little bit of a pricier side but it’s great.

Always delicious and wonderfully prepared. The dishes are all tasty, the service is super nice and pleasant. The toilets are clean, but could use a new coat of paint. Nevertheless, it is always worth a visit for us and highly recommended.

In addition to the fact that the tables were sticky, a mouse appeared next to us shortly after we ordered. We informed the staff and left. Regardless of the somewhat elevated standards of the restaurant, this is simply not possible - hygiene is simply non-negotiable. Other guests also became aware of the mouse.

Large selection, delicious food

We were at Mr. Lian's for the last time yesterday. Food was okay, but nothing more. The price-performance ratio is not right at all. The table was sticky all around and there was also leftover food on the seat cushions. Dried rice grains could still be found in the soy sauce bowls. One of the service staff sat at one of the tables and picked her nose extensively. She then rubbed it on the table. Totally unhygienic. They didn't want to give us an invoice receipt after naming the price because the receipt would have already been zeroed out and removed from the cash register system. It was then clear why you can no longer pay with an EC card.

We are often guests of Mr Liam. We have never been disappointed in either restaurant in Kaiserslautern. The food is top! The drinks were very good and the staff were always friendly! Always happy.

Sometimes the beer is €9.50 for 2 Carlsberg and sometimes it's €10 even. Who knows which one is correct but the poor need to eat too.

Nice atmosphere inside or out. The indoor seating area is decorated nicely with large tables. The outdoor seating is in a great square with a fountain. Large and small tables with umbrellas for shade. The food is good. Always plated nicely. The wakame (seaweed) with scallops and almost nude rolls are a favorite. Fast service, friendly servers.

We were there for the second time after a long time and were satisfied again. It's good, also visually pleasing to the eye. The waiters were all nice.

Best sushi restaurant in Kaiserslautern and good quality

I was absolutely thrilled. Although the prices are slightly higher than other sushi shops, the quality of the food is worth every penny. For me it is the best sushi in the world! The ambience inside the restaurant is particularly impressive. Sitting outside is fine, but inside it just looks beautiful. The furnishings are stylish and inviting, and you immediately feel at home. Another highlight are the homemade fruit drinks. These are an absolute must and complement the exquisite sushi perfectly. The drinks are fresh, delicious and a wonderful complement to the first-class food. Overall, the sushi restaurant is a clear recommendation. Here excellent food meets a wonderful ambience. Those willing to spend a little more will be rewarded with an incomparable culinary experience. I'll definitely come again!

Food was good and very fresh vegetables. The premises looks modern. I just find it a bit dark.

The food was fine, I had fried rice with chicken which was good. The multiple reviews mentioning bugs in the food will prevent me from ever going back here. Also, the owners continued refusal to accept card payments makes this place unattractive to eat at, especially for groups. Our first server was great but the second one who brought the bill was very unfriendly. Due to the restaurants inability to accept card payments in 2024 I was unable to pay and the person I dined with had to foot the bill. The waiter made sure to mention the amount that I owed my companion several times, perhaps in attempt to remind me to pay them back, as if I wouldn't have for some reason. This was extremely unprofessional and I have to advise against visiting this restaurants due to the long list of reasons I've mentioned here.

Good drinks and food a lot of variety to choose and very nice staff. If you like great food with a fancy twist this is definitely for you. We will come back.

The food was delicious, the furnishings were a bit old and seemed slightly “worn”. But it smells so damn great there that I immediately felt comfortable.

Some seats are a bit apprehensive and the music is very loud at some tables. Otherwise, but modern, simply furnished. Plenty of choice. Everything fresh. Priced in the higher segment.

You can sit outside or inside, the staff is very nice and the food was delicious and plentiful.

I had to revise my review from 2 years ago. It's a shame, the food, service and cleanliness have deteriorated significantly since my last visit about a year ago. Dust, dirt everywhere in the guest room. Toilets extremely dirty. Service is not unfriendly, but you have the feeling of not being welcome. To make matters worse, the food wasn't what it used to be here. The quality is absolutely no longer suitable.

Discovered some sort of bug, looked liked a small warm or larva in my wife’s pho bo which is a soup noodle dish. Presented the bug to the staff and was told it was “burnt rice”. Burnt rice in a soup noodle dish and I know what burnt rice looks like… Ordered the stir fry noodle with duck, noodles were ok but the duck had a mushy texture and tasted like liver. Overall, if you want to just have a dining experience to take photos then this is the place but if you want to eat good Vietnamese fusion then this ISN’T the place.

We were here with 6 people. Unfortunately, it took a long time to place the order. The starters came quickly but we had to wait almost an hour for the main course. Drinks were no longer asked for. The food was very tasty. Otherwise everything was fine.

The Kamasutra platter for 2 was very tasty. I'd love to come back. And the service was also very friendly. You should know that you can only pay in cash.

Nice Restaurant and Atmosphere. They also have outdoor seating. Servers are very nice and attentive. Food was flavorful and plentiful. The only complaint I had one of our dishes came to the table cold. The server took care of it right away. Would definitely go here again! Check this place out you will not be disappointed. The starter was a joke for the price, more of a sample portion. It was a disgrace to charge €8 for the Wakamane. The summer rolls had too much lettuce and very little rice noodles etc. for our taste. The main course was very tasty. We won't eat appetizers in the future

One of the better restaurants in Germany. I must say, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant offers many dishes, including great sushi and pho. But what really caught my attention, oddly enough, was their lemonade. Although the restaurant is a tad pricey, it is definitely worth it for the quality of food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Germany. 🍣🍜🍋

The one near Einsiedlerhof is better. Food was decent but not on the same level, menus were sticky and the soy sauce dishes at the table were dirty.

Vorspeise: Thunfisch-Tartar = es wurden die Reste vom Thunfisch verwendet und es war einfach nur scharf, somit nicht genießbar! Hauptgang: Sushi, die Qualität entsprach nicht unserer Vorstellung, geschmacklich konnte es nicht überzeugen! Zwischendurch wurde uns einfach die Soße vom Tisch genommen. Service: schlecht, es gab keinen Espresso mehr (20 Min. vor Ladenschluss)! Alles in allem viel zu teuer für das, was man in dieser unsauberen Location bekommt.

Interesting Asian food. It's odd because most Asian restaurants where I'm from are very specific. If you go to a Chinese restaurant, you get Chinese food only. You go to a Japanese restaurant, you get Japanese food only. In Europe, it's like everything Asian is lumped together in one. I mean, where else can you get sushi and pho under the same roof? That's exactly what we got. The food was fresh as can be and the presentation for the sushi (they really love their dry ice) was cool. We ordered Vietnamese beef soup and I ordered "curry" which turned out to be Panang, a Thai variant. The Saigon coffee was also excellent. Overall it's worth it, if you can afford it.

Sehr lecker Essen: Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Gerichten. Es gibt vegetarische und vegane Speisen. Wer keinen Fisch mag, kann sich auch etwas mit Fleisch aussuchen. Auf der Speisekarte gibt es für jeden etwas. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Eines der besten Sushi Restaurants. Service: Wir waren an einem Wochentag dort zu Mittag essen. Es gab nur eine Bedienung, die ihren Job sehr gut gemacht hat. Es war nicht so viele Leite da, wie an einem Wochenende Abends, trotzdem hatte sie viel zu tun und hat alles gut koordiniert und war sehr freundlich. Ambiente: Das Lokal ist modern und trotzdem gemütlich eingerichtet. Man kann dort auch sehr gut mit mehreren Leuten essen gehen.

The food was delicious at Mr. Lain however my service was terrible. The waitress spoke English very well which was a plus. My biggest issue was she was the only waitress for the entire restaurant during the hours of 4-6pm. I often see people get up and leave due to the slow service. She never checked on the table after the food was brought out and we had to basically stalk her to get our checks. Also the resturant is cash only and the sign is very small so please have cash on hand.

Geschmacklich sehr gut. Bedienung freundlich und schnell. Gerne wieder. Die Lage in KL ist sehr zentral, leider wirken die schweren grauen Vorhänge nicht einladend auf Erstbesucher. Wenn man das Restaurant kennt stört es nicht.

The place is nice and the food quality is good and also the service. The only thing that I really don’t like is the fact that you have to pay only with cash. . in 2023, the only reason why you don’t accept credit cards and want cash is when you don’t want to pay taxes. They will always ask you “do you need the bill”. no bill, cash only, no cards, everything goes black.

Used to be my favorite sushi place, but unfortunately the sushi quality has decreased over time, the portions get smaller while the prices are continuously increasing.

Great atmosphere and fusion of Asian cousine.

Another good all-around Asian restaurant where they have a little bit of everything from different cultures. No one dish stands out, but still has a good flavor that defines what Asian culture it came from. The Asian chicken salad was good, the chicken having the flavor of a green curry with a peanut sauce dressing. The spring rolls were good as well, being served with the signature chili sauce. Overall, if you want Asian food and don't know what to get, this place will likely have something for your taste.

Das Essen war qualitativ gut mit einer Einschränkung: Die Vorspeise Algensalat mit Avocado für 9,50 Euro bestand aus ca. 3 Esslöffeln Algensalat und einem kleinen Schnitzchen Avocado, die nicht reif war. Winzig, auf großem Teller. Für 9,50 € überteuert. Ambiente: Recht ansprechende Massivholztische und Bänke, letztere allerdings ohne Rückenlehne, sodass kein Anlehnen möglich ist. Laute BUMM - BUMM - BUMM Technomusik mit durchgehend monoton - stupiden Bässen. Die Musik wurde auch auf Bitten hin kaum leiser gestellt. Nervige 45 Minuten ohne Unterlass.
