Mövenpick Restaurant Zur Historischen Mühle in Potsdam

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was also quite tasty. Unfortunately, the cappuccino isn't that good. The wait for the food was a bit long, though.

After our civil wedding, we had a wonderful time at the "Zur Historischen Mühle" inn. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed—exactly what we wanted for this special moment with our family and witnesses. The food was excellent, the service attentive and friendly. The only thing we missed was some background music. But we had a wonderful time without it. Thank you so much for this wonderful memory, we'd love to come back! 💌🤍

Nice ambiance, but it was very hot inside due to the glass fronts and closed skylights, and we couldn't get a seat outside. After a fairly long wait, the menu arrived, and the subsequent wait times were also comparatively long. Coffee and cake were served separately – the coffee was almost gone by the time the cake arrived. The ice cream order was mixed up. Overall, it was also questionable why there was a 40-minute wait for coffee, cake, and two ice creams, and why you had to confront the staff beforehand about the long wait. You could also hear grumbling at the neighboring tables :-( I really remembered the restaurant "Zur Historischen Mühle" as being much better...

New restaurant opposite Sanssouci Palace. If the tourist crowds are hungry, you can walk there. Always worth a visit, but the prices are quite high.

Until now, the restaurant has always been a guarantee of excellent quality and service. After our visit today, we unfortunately discovered that with the change of management (no longer Mövenpick), this is no longer the case. The cleanliness of the restaurant, and especially the sanitary facilities, was off-putting right from the start. We noticed that tables were not immediately cleared or re-laid, which already negatively impacts the first impression. The menu has significantly reduced its content; prices have risen sharply. The service was attentive but visibly overwhelmed. The wrong food was served or with a missing side dish, cutlery was missing, no further requests were made, and we waited almost 20 minutes to pay, even though the restaurant was not full. The quality of the food (e.g., Wiener Schnitzel) was in no way up to the standards previously offered at this establishment. Salt seems to be a popular ingredient, and the side dish was on par with a motorway service station in terms of quantity and quality. The price here in no way justifies the service provided. In our opinion, a few minutes' walk into Potsdam city center is a better option...we won't be coming here again.

Normally good food at upscale prices (asparagus, schnitzel, potatoes €29.50). The service staff was understaffed for the number of seats and visitors, with about one or two waiters too few. The young team was attentive and friendly, but the finishing touches were clearly lacking, such as attentiveness to guests, including not only seeing but also responding to signals from guests that they have a request. Overall, it's improved compared to the previous operator, but there's still room for improvement. However, the incentive to do so is lacking from competitors near the palace and palace park.

It could be so beautiful, but... Unfortunately, this unique location with a beautiful beer garden is ruined by two things: 1. The service is completely overwhelmed, which is pitiful. 2. The poor value for money (simply too expensive). We've been there twice this year. The first time with food, and the second time (second chance), they didn't even manage to bring us a menu within 10 minutes, so we left. The young waiters probably aren't properly trained/trained and don't know what to do first. There are still simply too many customers for too few staff. If this doesn't change soon, the number of customers will probably decrease anyway. Based on the reviews, it wasn't just us. It's a shame that this location has deteriorated so much.

It was very busy, so we had to wait 45 minutes to order a drink. Then it took another 15 minutes for the drink to arrive, and another 30 minutes for the food. It was a long wait, but the food was delicious.

We were here for a birthday party. The ambiance is really nice and the glass front makes it very bright.

The restaurant has a monopoly, which affects the value for money. Prices are too high for the food. The food came without garnish, among other things. It looked "unloved." The menu is rather difficult for children. There are no children's dishes. Fish dishes are served without appropriate cutlery. The only positive thing worth mentioning are the paper towels in the restrooms.

It's incredibly hot, and we've been waiting for drinks for 30 minutes. The waiters don't seem interested. I wouldn't want to visit this place again.

We were in the inn's beer garden, and unfortunately, it was the same old story. We've been standing in line for over 30 minutes, and there's only one employee, even though the garden is at most a quarter full. It's not fun.

Since the change of management, we don't like going there anymore. Prices have risen sharply, portions have shrunk, and the service leaves a lot to be desired. On Saturday, at 4 p.m., we couldn't even get a coffee because a party had to be organized and all the guests had to be charged. It's sad. They're apparently no longer dependent on walk-ins. At least the beer garden is functioning.

Imagine a large, open, bright restaurant with a view of Sanssouci Palace. The reception was friendly. After a while, a waitress came by with two menus. My companion wanted to take them from her and then hand me mine; we learned that many years ago. The waitress, however, rudely informed the gentleman that the lady would get the menu first... Oh, doesn't the person serving the food hand it to her? My companion, visiting from New York, was horrified and had to laugh, but she was able to handle it humorously, because this only happens in Germany, that the staff presumes to reprimand a guest. We had plenty of time to chat; the food arrived an hour after ordering and tasted mediocre. What a shame.

What a failure! We should have read the reviews then we would have been spared an unpleasant surprise. Such a lovely restaurant but only 3 tables occupied for brunch. The service was unmotivated and not very friendly, the food was sufficient but not very lovingly prepared. We were used to better quality. Too bad 😪

Half of the facility is closed for no reason - you can't sit at a table "because you can't", and indicating another place is beyond the staff's competence. Very rude waitress.

Incredible! If I could deduct one more star, I would. Loveless and unprofessional service, coffee and cake tasted mediocre in contrast to the prices quoted. Read the restaurant's flyer and all you can do is shake your head.

Nice ambience. Unfortunately, we were NOT allowed to sit outside in this beautiful weather on April 25, 2025 (18 degrees and sun). It was very hot in the hall due to the galss fronts. The waiters made you wait for a very long time. After 10 minutes we got a card. The drinks have been a long time coming. The waiters sometimes didn't need to serve you. 4 waiters were there. Unfortunately only one of you was able to serve all the tables afterwards. All you could hear was complaining at the neighboring tables. Some of them had to wait 15 minutes for a piece of cake. By the time we had the food, my drink was already empty. Unfortunately, no one came and asked about the food or whether we wanted anything else to drink. At the end when we paid we didn't even get a thank you and have a nice day. Really very sad. The food was good, but we won't be visiting again.

The beer garden is not recommended. Overpriced and the quality isn't even good enough for a snack bar. The currywurst doesn't deserve its name here.

First of all, we were guests in the beer garden. The goal was to have a little something to eat. We assumed that a currywurst and a boulette should be an acceptable challenge for a beer garden. Unfortunately, most of both went into the bin. The boulette was a stone and the currywurst felt like a reheated, dry stick of meat with a little sauce. Unfortunately, in terms of food, I can't recommend it at all, even if the staff was friendly.

Schon beim Ankommen wurden wir von einer langen Warteschlange empfangen, in der es sich so anfühlte, als wolle man eher die Gäste abschrecken als willkommen heißen. Zwar war das Restaurant gut besucht, aber es waren noch einige Tische frei. Die Dame, die uns schließlich zu einem Tisch brachte, war immerhin freundlich… Nach dem Platznehmen blieb jedoch ein schmutziger Kaffeebecher der vorherigen Gäste auf dem Tisch stehen – ein unangenehmer Start. Auch die Speisekarten ließen lange auf sich warten. Da wir mit unseren Hunden unterwegs waren und diese in der prallen Sonne litten, entschieden wir uns den Besuch abzubrechen, ohne überhaupt etwas bestellen zu können. Schade – vielleicht ist das Essen ja gut, aber das konnten wir leider nicht herausfinden.

Terrible service! Apparently not the first time, after reading the other reviews. My friends and I wanted to enjoy the restaurant after a beautiful day at the sanssouci palace. The hostess didn’t want to seat us because apparently they were “busy” - after taking a look into the restaurant ( almost half of the restaurant was empty ) we asked again and than he laughed and took a look and seated us. Very unprofessional. Such a pity for such a beautiful place! - also during our whole stay there was no one coming into the restaurant and it remained empty. When I mentioned that at the end, one of the other workers tried to give me us crappy excuse! Also this place has an award for “Gastgeber des Jahres 2021” - but nothing in there was hospitable! Such a shame Would not recommend this place!

The restaurant wasn't full, but the service was overwhelmed and didn't bring all the drinks that were ordered. Nobody has any experience in service. The tables are also not properly cleared and clean.

Die Lokation mit Biergarten ist sehr schön in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Schloss Sanssouci. Allerdings hat uns der Service und die Geschwindigkeit sehr enttäuscht. Obwohl nicht zu viel Betrieb war haben wir auf unsere vier Getränke und zwei Stück Kuchen etwa 45 Minuten gewartet und zudem wurden Getränke & Kuchen nicht zum gleichen Zeitpunkt geliefert. Leider eine enttäuschende Erfahrung, Lage und Service passen nicht zusammen.

No order was taken for 30 minutes, so we left the restaurant. Other guests felt the same way and left too. The service does not systematically go to each table, so the tables furthest away were never served.

Unfortunately the second visit was only worth one star. The food was still good, but the service was an absolute disaster. We waited almost 2 hours for our food, the drinks we ordered were not brought or were only brought after the third request. The table wasn't cleared at all...you had the feeling it was just trainees and temporary workers with no experience in the service. Too bad. We won't be coming back!

No, if you have to wait 2 hours for your food, despite the menu being minimized (due to a reservation), then that's a shame, if the food wasn't really tasty either, but was oversalted or not seasoned at all... The list is long, 3/4 hours for a coal...

I honestly do not recommend. We ordered fish for a child - we received old and smelly fish. The manager who came insisted that we were wrong - the child could have been poisoned. Horrible! No good approach to customers. In addition, we waited for a waiter for almost 20 minutes - we had to ask for a menu ourselves, then we waited 40 minutes for someone to come and we could place an order - I also had to go myself and ask for someone to come to us. We waited another 35 minutes for the food - it arrived spoiled and smelly. Please be careful!

That was nothing at all... you have to wait to be taken to your seat but the waiter leaves first! Then you just point to the table you should go to, and when asked, “well the clean one” is obviously true! :) after 10 minutes of waiting we still weren't allowed to order anything... then we left.

Service awareness seems to be lacking. Long wait times when restaurant wasn't half full. Waited a lot at entrance, and another 40 minutes at the table to realize waitress didn't even sent the order. Then asked for some bread in meantime because we were starving that obviously didn't arrive. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Half empty but still full We waited 10 minutes until an employee noticed us, only to be told that unfortunately, there were no free seats. Only 70% of the tables were occupied, but oh well... Apart from the fact that there were no tables outside and the entire beer garden was empty. We then walked to the Drachen Haus and, wonder of the world, you could sit outside and get coffee and cake, even though it was much busier than the Historische Mühle.

Were there to eat cake. The selection is quite varied, the cake itself tastes really good, but could have been a little juicier. The service was really top 👍🏼

This was our first time here and definitely our last. The service is simply abysmally bad, disorganized, and not at all customer-oriented. We had reserved a table for 4:15 PM and then stood at the door for another 10 minutes before we were shown to our table. The Palmengarten was only moderately busy, with about half the tables occupied. Even though at least four employees were serving the entire time, we were given a table with the words: "We haven't had a chance to reset the table yet." So, once we were at our table, it was wiped down and new napkins were laid out. After about 10 minutes, we were able to place our order; we had already picked out something at the cake counter. The coffee arrived after another 10 minutes, and then nothing happened for a long time. Many tables were occupied by new guests during this time. We noticed that these tables received their orders earlier, and 35 minutes after the coffee was served, we still hadn't received any cake. After we politely asked again, our order arrived. Unfortunately, the cake I had chosen was no longer available. When we had chosen an hour earlier, there was still plenty available, but other tables had been served first. So I chose a different type of cake. Then, when I paid, the next surprise came: the more expensive cake was still left on the bill. Overall, the entire service seemed very uninterested and completely uncoordinated. There wasn't a single "please" or "thank you," no apologies, or even a gesture of regret. Other guests were treated very rudely when they complained about the longer wait times. Service is different for me, and apparently, this isn't an isolated impression, as one can tell from the reviews. We definitely won't be back.

We were hungry after the tour of Sanssouci Palace and thought we would go and have something to eat at the lovely restaurant. The waiter assigned us a table inside and took us there. We then received 2 menus even though there were three of us. I asked for a third card, which he brought to us later. We then placed our order later. Drinks came, followed by our food. Afterwards we were given cutlery, without napkins. The food was okay. The restaurant was well attended. When we finished eating, we sat for about 20 minutes without the waiter showing up. Neither asked if everything was OK with the food, nor were the dishes cleared away after we had finished eating. At some point we went to the checkout and said that we wanted to pay. I haven't experienced such inattentive staff in a long time. When we were at the checkout where the waiter was waiting, another lady also stood with us and said that she had now waited 20 minutes to pay. The waiter just cheekily said, they've already said that. :D incredible.

Unfortunately, the operator can't even come close to Mövenpick's standards. Perhaps the company just needs a little more time.

There were four of us here today for the breakfast buffet and we were thrilled. The breakfast buffet here was already very good in Mövenpick's time and now with Arcona it is almost even better. Great welcome from the boss. The young service team is highly committed, very attentive and friendly to the guests. The “kitchen fairy” is always checking the buffet offerings and quickly refills anything empty. You can sit comfortably in the fully glazed Palm Hall with a beautiful view of the castle and the historic mill. There is also a large beer garden with old trees for the sunny season. Even today, with the great sunshine, we were already setting up outside. I can only recommend the “Historical Mill”. Thanks for the great morning.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs! The service here is downright disrespectful. The staff have zero professionalism and no sense of customer service. When we politely asked if we could place our order, the server rudely snapped, "Step by step, wait! OK?" then went to laugh with a colleague instead of doing his job. This place isn’t surviving because of quality or hospitality, it’s only staying afloat because of its location. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Disappointing Service, Rude Staff, Will Not Return I recently visited the restaurant and was thoroughly disappointed with the service. 1. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the staff was unorganized and inattentive. We asked if we could be seated next to the window but the staff said he needed to check if the tables were booked when the restaurant was obviously less than half occupied. 2. We were seated and left waiting for over 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, despite the restaurant not being overly busy. The staff were walking around, talking to each other and laughing. Very unprofessional. 3. When we finally placed our order, it took an unusually long time for our food to arrive. 4. Throughout the meal, the server was hard to find, and when we did have a chance to speak with them, they were indifferent and seemed uninterested in addressing our concerns (as shown in the photo of a very moody (almost pissed off) waiter). The way the waiter talked to the customers was very rude and uneducated (particularly the man with blonde hair in the photo). In short, go to this restaurant only if you have no choice as your booked slot for the palace is coming up. The only reason for a 1-star is because there is no 0-star option for this review.

We were here for breakfast for the first time on March 8th, 2025. Absolutely great!!! Selection and quality excellent. The service is outstanding. Very very friendly and attentive. Easter brunch is already booked. We are really looking forward to it.

A great restaurant in a wonderful atmosphere. The service staff (especially a waiter) were incredibly friendly and authentic. Small errors were corrected very professionally. 🥰 Been a great place for Valentine's Day. Kudos to the kitchen - so delicious!

Had breakfast there again for a long time, better offer under the Mövenpick chain. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio doesn't match, the offer was unfortunately only standard.

We had lunch in the winter garden. The lemon for the Wienerschnitzel was in a small, sweet net for squeezing, the plates were pre-warmed, and there was delicious honey with the tea. Small loving touches

A completely positive experience! The food is not only excellent, but also lovingly prepared, and the service is absolutely top – attentive, friendly and warm. The atmosphere is cozy, so you immediately feel at home. Anyone traveling in Potsdam should stop by here. We'll definitely be back! :)

We had breakfast here again after a long time and were very impressed. Price-performance, selection, service is great. We'll definitely come back here, Great selection of sausages, fish, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, sweets...everything your heart desires. I think it's particularly great that the coffee (incl. cappuccino, milk coffee, cocoa...) costs just under 30 euros and tea and juices are included🍀🍀🍀🍀 Thank you for a wonderful start to Sunday 🥳🥳🥳 Everything is also easy to reach for people with walking difficulties. There is a ramp on the outside, the tables on the inside are not too narrow, you can easily get to the buffet with a walker, and there is a disabled toilet. In summer you can also use the terrace outside.

Breakfast buffet on weekends and public holidays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.: wide range of bread/rolls, varied (high-quality and tasty) toppings, scrambled eggs, yoghurt, fish platter, etc. It was constantly replenished. Hot drinks and juices varied and delicious. Service was quick and very friendly. A well-rounded thing. Very happy again. Just under €30 each.

My dish was really subpar and if the coleslaw is served with caraway seeds, that should be on the menu so that you can cancel the salad if you don't like caraway seeds. That would be better than leaving it because food shouldn't be thrown away. But the other dishes were better. Most of the dishes mentioned below are no longer on the menu, presumably since the restaurant is no longer operated by Mövenpick.

The Historic Mill not only offers a unique ambience, but also excellent cuisine and first-class service. The food was fresh and tasted excellent! We'd love to come back!

I absolutely loved my visit to the historic mill! The service was consistently attentive, friendly and professional – a real pleasure. The kitchen impressed with creative and delicious dishes, everything was top notch. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy a special evening in a stylish ambience!

Two weeks ago we went for a walk in Sanssouci Park again - quite spontaneously - and then went to the inn for lunch, slightly cold. We received a very friendly welcome and were very impressed with the menu. The food came quite quickly and was super tasty. Big compliment to the kitchen. But what particularly impressed us was the natural friendliness of the waiter, something that unfortunately you don't see very often these days. We felt completely comfortable and will be back soon. Long waiting time, food doesn't match the price. Can't recommend, won't be coming back either. The temperature in the room is too high, almost unbearable. The spaetzle is oversalted and the coleslaw is full of caraway. Of course not edible for children. Wasn't mentioned. We also had to wait forever, the price/performance ratio wasn't right at all.

I called and asked if we could come for breakfast at 10.45. Unfortunately, we were not informed on the phone that breakfast only lasts until 11 a.m. We had just ordered the coffee when we received the information: “We are now slowly dismantling the buffet, please take it again!” Totally stressful and no fun. The buffet was then no longer complete. The full price was still charged. Another faux pas when paying: Waiter accepts payment request, we are already standing in the middle of the room because there hasn't been a waiter with us in ages. He says “yes, I’ll be right there” and then calmly continues wiping the tables….. Unfortunately, the customer is not the first priority here. The staff seems inexperienced and untrained. No recommendation.

The atmosphere is great as usual! Staff is friendly, but the "kitchen" apparently no longer exists. The tarte flambée at the next table seemed ok. Likewise the selection of cakes/tarts at another neighboring table. Unfortunately we decided on real dishes: that's not possible! Not even potatoes were freshly cooked. Everything warmed up canned food. (At least that's how it tasted - we were assured everything was fresh.) Recommendation: enjoy the wonderful ambience with a small snack (flambée) or drinking coffee. In summer, the tables outside under the trees with a cool beer are also recommended.

Im Zuge einer Trauerfeier kamen wir hier in größerer Runde nochmals zusammen. Die Kommunikation war von Beginn an sehr angenehm, professionell und schnell. Die Feier an sich wurde sehr schön hergerichtet und die Bedienung war absolut freundlich und zuvorkommend. Eine schöne Erfahrung, die ich nur sehr herzlich weiterempfehlen kann. Vielen, vielen Dank für das Ausrichten unserer Feier!

Wie kann sich ein Haus in dem Maße so verschlechtern. In der heutigen Zeit ist es doch besonders wichtig, dass man wenigstens mit der Qualität der Speisen überzeugt. Wir sind jahrelang Stammgäste im Winter bei herrlichem Sonnenschein. Ein Schnitzel so verbrannt. Und wir konnten es an allen Tischen beobachten. Auch der Kuchen hat so viel an Geschmack verloren. Schade!

Great service, very nice and attentive! The ambience is unique and the food was a dream

We wanted to have a nice afternoon with the children and were bitterly disappointed. The air in the hall was stuffy and bad. The condition was not changed even after repeated requests! There were more than 30 minutes between serving coffee and serving cake. The veal schnitzel was dry, the lukewarm potato salad tasted 'neutral', the soup was too salty and after the meal, the grandson and son-in-law couldn't get down from the toilet. Conclusion: The overall price was 5-star, but the food was below average. Therefore 'not recommended', which is a shame as the atmosphere deserves better.

Today we went to the historic mill for breakfast. We liked it very much. Nothing was missing when it came to eating. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Keep it up. We'll be back.

We have been to the Historic Mill many times in recent years, but today we were really very disappointed. The service wasn't good - we had to ask if we could order and only then did someone come. The prices are very high. It was far too warm in the winter garden and too dark in the afternoon.

Unfortunately, like many previous speakers, we experienced a very uncoordinated and not very friendly reception. Very unfortunate.

We went to search for another restaurant because of the way we were received. The waiter explained us that this is no longer the same owner, which is ok, but the tone he used was so unpleasant, that my mother (80yo) and me decided to leave and search for something else. Also, it had an over-expensive salad buffet.

Eine große Enttäuschung! Wir kamen pünktlich an, wurden von einem Kellner (offenbar der Einzige) an unseren Platz gewiesen und es dauerte, bis er uns die Speichekarte brachte, obwohl das Lokal keineswegs voll war, im Gegenteil. Ich fragte ihn, ob es heute "Steak Tartar" gab, den wir letztes Mal genossen hatten. Er antwortete barsch und offensichtlich mit schlechter Laune:"Es gibt, was auf der Karte steht, wir sind kein Möwenpick mehr!" und ging. Wir sind aufgestanden und sind auch gegangen.... keine Lust mehr, dort zu essen!

€6 for a cappuccino from a fully automatic machine and €4.50 for a latte macchiato sounds like a rip-off! The great cakes that were otherwise available were replaced with mediocre industrial products. Always a nice table with discussion, service inattentive. After 20 minutes I didn't even get the card

Service uncoordinated, portions far too small (I know, this is common in upscale restaurants, but the quality wasn't there) Only the ambience is nice.

Service underground, grade 6. Waited 35 minutes for the first drink. This was the last one, as no one from the staff asked if we wanted anything else. The food came after we had already been there for 1 hour. I have never seen such a thin veal schnitzel for this price in my life! The salad was good and looked fresh. At least from what I could see. We sat almost in the dark. Lighting also underground. There is a spotlight on the ceiling that blinds you the whole time, depending on where you sit. By the way, the empty plates were not cleared away. They were still on the table after we left after a 2 hour stay. Once you met the staff, they were friendly.

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was a huge disappointment. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait in the aisle for 10 minutes before we were escorted to our table. After being seated, we waited over 45 minutes for the menus, despite politely asking several times. Unfortunately no one came to bring them to us. Due to the lack of service and the long waiting times, we were forced to leave the restaurant without ordering. For a restaurant of this standard, we expect much more - both in terms of service and efficiency. Very disappointing.

At the end of a nice walk in Sanncousi Park, enjoy a warm cappuccino and a delicious salad. We felt very comfortable, especially with the friendly service. Thank you very much.

I hardly write restaurant reviews, but I have to post this powerful experience. On 28.12. we, in a group of four, wanted to have a quick refreshment. We ordered a total of 3 soups and 1 pasta. Together, we waited for these "appetizers" in a half-empty establishment for an incredible FIFTY minutes! And we didn't know yet that the food brought would really be inedible. The food was of such terrible quality that we DID NOT FINISH any of the 4 dishes despite our stomach growling. During the process, the staff behaved arrogantly, condescendingly and completely unprofessionally. In a restaurant where main dishes cost around 28 euros, this service is completely unacceptable. Despite the nice interior, I strongly do not recommend visiting this establishment.

We sat down but no one could come to take the order because the room was full and there was no service on the other side. We just wanted to order hot tea which we would have paid for. Waiters seemed a little stressed

Worst service! We were lied to that nothing was free and my mother was cheekily attacked by the male employee. We had a reservation and stood at the entrance for over 20 minutes and were looked at and deliberately ignored.

The location is great, the ambience and the service are great! Highly recommended.

It was an excellent Christmas brunch with a selection of food that left nothing to be desired. It was very tasty with a very good quality. The service was also very, very good. Excellent care was taken. All in all, we were more than thrilled.

Food good, but not outstanding. Service unmotivated, listless and ultimately subpar. This is obviously working against the boss. It's a shame, because the location actually used to have a certain charm that is no longer there today. This was one of our favorite restaurants in Potsdam so far. This has been resolved since today.

Very disappointing development of this restaurant over the years. Nice location across from Sanssouci Palace, and a big parking lot next to it. The inside became rather cold than welcoming with bothersome lighting: one side of our table had a strong spot light directed into their faces. Good, but not outstanding, menu with decent vegetarian options. Staff with one of the worst service I've ever experienced, acting mostly disinterested and partially impertinent. Bad timing for bringing out the courses and very long waiting time for placing orders. Can't recommend at all!
