Hai Lam - Asia in Potsdam

I'm begging everyone reading this, please don't eat there. IT'S AT YOUR OWN RISK ⚠️⚠️⚠️ When I ordered a doner kebab there, the guy was picking his nose and I thought I hadn't noticed. Then he prepared the doner without washing his hands first, so with his snotty fingers – and that wasn't even the worst part. He dropped the doner bread from the customers behind me on the floor, picked it up, and put it in the toaster. After about two minutes, I saw a rat nibbling on the doner meat in the corner. Many other things happened too. Friends of mine once found hair in their food – I don't mean one or two small hairs, no, but a whole bush of hair. So you can imagine what it's like there. If you don't believe me, go there and see for yourself. Like I said, at your own risk. For everyone else: no, I threw the doner away. If anyone who works at the public health department is reading this, please go there! There are bound to be many other things there!

We were there on a balmy summer evening and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere on the terrace overlooking Lake Wannsee. Warm, relaxed service and incredibly flavorful food provided us with a wonderful culinary delight. A real insider tip if you're in the area. The selection is well-organized and the prices are excellent. You can only pay in cash. Be aware of that!

Perfect for a snack bar. I always order the chicken curry, which I highly recommend.

Fantastic view of the bridge while enjoying your meal. The food is fresh and beautifully presented, but the service is sometimes slow.

The restaurant was somewhat lacking in service staff (there's no real kitchen on site). Luckily, there are plenty of other locations within one or two bus stops.
