Mövenpick in Oberursel (Taunus)

Yesterday, we went to the brewery with friends for dinner for the first time in years, and we were all absolutely thrilled. The tagliatelle with wild garlic pesto was amazing, and of course, the home-brewed lager was amazing too 🍻😃 The little beer board with different varieties to try is also fun.

I celebrated my birthday party with 42 people in the country inn. During the preparation, I received very good advice from the boss, Ms. Yunaev, and was able to taste the wines free of charge in order to make a decision about which ones I would like to offer. Even though I had already signed the order, Ms. Yunaev was extremely accommodating and I was able to make adjustments afterwards, e.g. B. with the number of guests fluctuating several times. The location is perfect for celebrations. When we arrived on the day of the celebration, we were greeted by a beautifully decorated room that immediately elicited a “WOW” from the arriving guests and made them look forward to the evening. Ms. Yunaev's attentive team ensured that all wishes were implemented quickly and that no glass remained empty for long. The next day I was showered with compliments from my guests about the beautiful location and the delicious food. As a result, my high expectations were perfectly met and what was promised was kept 100%. I can only warmly recommend the location for all kinds of celebrations, because an evening that is perfect in every facet will remain a lasting fond memory. Very poor service when we ordered a table by phone today. When we arrived we were told it would take a while and we should come back in 15 minutes. When we came back we were told the table had been given away. Only the restaurant and service will be rated.

Went here for dinner on a Saturday. It was busy but there were no waiting times at the buffet or the grill. Some dishes were no longer available at the buffet later in the evening, but they actively offered to prepare them from scratch if you wanted to eat them. The automatic grabbers in the front part of the restaurant are somewhat strange.

The lounge in Oberursel is right at the train station, in the old station hall. The restaurant has a very large selection of drinks, with and without alcohol. Theme parties are also held there on weekends. Anyone who likes the charm of the old hall will be satisfied. Tastes are just different. The food I had was average. Neither good nor bad. You can tell there that it is aimed at “mass”.
