Mövenpick in Oberursel (Taunus)

The service was good and friendly, but the prices/portions (polenta) were disproportionate. The side salad, however, was good value for money.

We were there for brunch on December 26, 2023. The buffet was very large, and the selection and quality of the food was very high. There was something delicious for all tastes. The staff was very discreet but always present, which was very pleasant. We can 100% recommend the Vitello restaurant for brunch.

We were there for Christmas brunch. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The buffet was exceptionally good and plentiful. The only drawback was that the aisle leading to the buffet was quite narrow.

Poor service and food was not good. We had dinner and dessert, never offered a second drink. When we discovered an insect in one of the desserts, they said they would bring a new one but it looked like it was just removed and restored. For us, never again!

This was really good. The chef is creative, the ingredients very fresh and of high quality. The Caesar salad was deliberately arranged separately. Interesting and a visual highlight. However, it wasn't fully thought through...the anchovies were arranged whole under the salad, which wasn't very edible for me...or who likes a tablespoonful of anchovies with capers and dressing at the end of the meal, after the rest of the dish has already been eaten? This could be improved. The scampi as an extra topping was really delicious. The vitello tonnato was also arranged separately according to ingredients. I find it a bit tedious to assemble an entire meal yourself...but oh well. This was also delicious when you arrange all the ingredients on the plate together on a fork and eat them together. So why the food combining? But no matter: tasty and good. The service was a highlight! Very competent, friendly, and attentive. Thank you for that. Go here sometime!

Today, Sunday, February 23rd, we went for brunch with 8 people. The food selection and offerings were very good. However, the welcome (Prosecco, etc.) and the restaurant entrance/reception were poor! One gets the impression that the staff is untrained and unprofessional, lacking sufficient language skills. There was also confusion regarding drinks service, specifically still and sparkling mineral water. The high-quality food selection, Prosecco, coffee machine, and excellent orange juice kept the overall rating high! We remembered the Mövenpick restaurant with its significantly better staff!

A delicious Sunday brunch and very friendly and attentive staff. We were very satisfied.
