Motorworld in Köln

A great, modern hotel. Very well-maintained. Three excellent restaurants. We ate at the steakhouse. The meat was of very high quality. Very quiet rooms, no noise from outside either. Plenty of parking right outside. We stayed overnight and paid €12 for two nights. Tram stop nearby. Breakfast was very clean, with a wide selection of delicious food.

Small but impressive exhibition.

After a guided tour of the MMC Studios with a group, we went to Motorworld Cologne for lunch. The hall is impressive, and there are some amazing cars to admire. Michael Schumacher's Ferrari was a particular highlight. The food was delicious, and the waiters were attentive and friendly. The only downside for me was the very high noise level.

Free entry, great collection of F1 cars and other cars. The only downside was that I had a suitcase with me and couldn't find a coat rack or storage locker where I could leave my luggage during my visit.

Great exhibition for F1 and Schumacher fans

Versatile event spaces, excellent staff and management; and you can even charge your car at the charging station. However, you have to go elsewhere to refuel... Excellent.

Cool, but there are too many toddlers crying. It should probably only be for ages 12 and up, not for 2-3 year olds who cry.

We didn't actually get to see the extensive and magnificent exhibition, as we were there for a musical...😉...but going to MOTORWORLD to see these incredible "machines" and everything else, maybe even taking a few photos, is definitely worth it 👌👌👌 And all of this "without" admission...which isn't something you see very often these days 🫠 A little tip: the pizzeria, which offers a great view directly of the most amazing vehicles while you eat, is also highly recommended 😋😋😋👌

Great place for events, we always enjoy being there.

We saw the musical Ghost there. Well, it was basically an old warehouse with chairs, that's about it. The view of the stage was poor. For the price of the tickets, I expected more. The food in the restaurants wasn't exactly cheap.

If you're in Cologne, you can check it out, but otherwise it's not worth the extra trip.

We were there again today to see a musical. Ate at Ahoi today. The service was very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we still found space for two. We'll definitely be back.

Here, everything revolves around cars, Formula 1, vintage cars, classic cars, sports cars, campers, and much more! There are several good restaurants there! I highly recommend Moto59 (Italian delicacies)! It's also a great event location (e.g., for musicals). Comfortable seating! We will definitely be back!

Great exhibition with a nice atmosphere

Security intimidates young children on the street when they try to take pictures of the arriving and departing supercars. They say you can only take photos indoors and not on the street...

Fantastic exhibition! Especially Michael Schumacher's private collection. The glass box garages were fascinating; you could move your parking spaces for €2.

Rip-off!!!! Regardless of the outstanding events, I regret to say that we were ripped off when checking in our jackets. There is an explicit requirement to check in jackets. Checking in at the cloakroom costs €3 per jacket. However, I saw a few people wearing jackets in the hall. In short: If you follow the instructions, you'll be ripped off. If you ignore the instructions, you're in luck. There are other great event venues with more transparent organization.

A very beautiful and interesting exhibition of private exotic vehicles. There's also an exhibition of Michael Schumacher's Formula One racing cars. Since it was the end of the season, many drivers came to Motorworld with their cars, and you could also admire some classics in the parking lot. There are several dining options, as there are several restaurants in and around Motorworld. Parking is paid, but quite inexpensive.

Unfortunately, Motorworld has lost much of its former appeal for classic car enthusiasts. The food there has also lost a lot, but Abacco's Steakhouse is simply fantastic, and the steaks are among the best in the Cologne area. However, the staff is constantly changing, and the service could be improved. 😥

Two of us visited here, and it didn't promise more than it actually delivered. Given the completely free admission and the exhibition of Michael Schumacher's awards, vehicles, clothing, etc., you can only be delighted here. In addition to the items belonging to our Formula 1 legend, there are many beautiful cars on display. They didn't skimp on the catering either, offering a nice small selection of food and drinks. A must for car and racing enthusiasts if you're in the area. Stay approx. 1-1.5 hours. I'd be happy to come back!

Beautiful place, but a bit smaller than expected Motorworld Cologne is definitely worth a visit. The exhibition is really beautifully designed and offers a great mix of interesting vehicles and exciting impressions. Everything looks well-maintained, modern, and well-thought-out – you can tell that great importance is placed on quality here. I particularly liked the pleasant atmosphere: you can look around at your leisure, there's something to discover everywhere, and everything is very well organized. The surrounding dining options are also good, allowing you to end your visit in a relaxed manner. My only minor criticism: Motorworld is a bit smaller than I imagined. You get through it relatively quickly, which is a shame because it's really fun to be there. Overall, though, it's a very nice location that's absolutely worth it – just a bit more compact than you might think. Therefore, I give it four strong stars!

I'm not familiar with Motorworld Cologne. I was only there to pick up my marathon starter pack, and as expected, it was very busy.

Beautiful location with beautiful cars! We stayed at the V8 hotel next door, definitely worth checking out. There are also several restaurants there, and we had a delicious meal there two nights. With a fantastic view thrown in for free! 😉

Catastrophic. I was so excited to go there yesterday, Saturday. I can't do much for myself due to work. Then someone recommended Motorworld. I drove there in a great mood, until I got there and saw only hipsters, eco-freaks, and retirees who had the whole week off. Why hold a sportswear fair at Motorworld? All the parking spaces were full. Thousands of people. Then you're supposed to park what felt like 5 km at the job center to walk there in the pouring rain. I wanted to spend a nice day with my wife and eat there, but then I left in a bad mood. Next time I'll go to Düsseldorf. I read in the comments that it's not worth it anyway; Motorworld is supposedly too small, with too few cars.

We were at the Runners Expo and stopped by here for a look. It ended up being almost two hours. Very nicely done. A must-see for motorsports fans.

This hotel is simply fantastic for car fans. The rooms are super modern and very clean. Two small bottles of mineral water are provided in the minibar for guests. The view from the elevator to the room area is very open, with a view down to the glass roof of the automobile exhibition. The decor is consistent throughout the hotel, with a vintage style associated with cars and engines. Breakfast offers a huge selection, and they are immediately refilled if something runs out. The staff is always on hand and very friendly. This was my second time there and I would definitely book again.

My cousin and I visited Motorworld and were truly delighted. It's a paradise, especially for car enthusiasts. Inside, you'll find a wide variety of unique and unique cars on display, from classic models to luxury and sports cars. We were delighted by the well-maintained and well-organized display of the vehicles. You don't just see the cars; there are also restaurants and cafes inside. We sat and relaxed after our tour; the atmosphere was very pleasant. Overall, the place is clean, well-organized, and quite enjoyable to wander around. It's a must-see for anyone visiting Cologne. I highly recommend it to both car enthusiasts and those looking for a unique experience.

It's worth a trip. You can see a lot here without paying an entrance fee. And eat well, too.

You can see the hats, helmets, and driving suits Schumacher wore. Some of the trophies he won are also here. And of course, the F1 cars he drove are a visual feast. A must-see for all F1 enthusiasts.

A short visit to this showroom/exhibition of exceptional vehicles. Some are for sale. Free exhibition of the very impressive and complete Schumacher collection of his belongings (trophy, helmet, suit, etc.). Paid parking, but there is an Ikea just a stone's throw away that has free parking.

We were thrilled! After driving karts on Michael Schumacher's track in the morning, we got a taste of the racing atmosphere here. The exhibition is truly lovingly curated, and you can learn a lot about the legend that is Michael Schumacher. Many other classic cars and vehicles can be viewed throughout the halls. We particularly liked the small accessories related to the theme. There are also several shops with very interesting items that fit the concept. We didn't try the food, but it looks great too. All in all, absolutely recommended. Some museums that charge a lot for admission could learn a lot from this!

It's a beautiful vehicle museum, and it's also great that it's free. If you have a car-loving child, I can't tell you how happy they are when they see a red Formula 1 car. There's a metro station nearby, so getting there is easy. I definitely recommend checking it out when you go to Cologne. There's also a go-kart track inside, so you might want to try it out.

We drove down from Berlin..The place is super quirky and has some lovely vehicles there.Great tribute to Schumacher from carts to F1 vehicles.well worth the look. Resturants with varying great choices for meals... My only disappointment really was the 12Euro per day to park our car in the outside open carpark as a guest...

Absolutely fantastic, lots of attention to detail in every area of ​​the hotel. Unfortunately, you can only enter the pinball room as a VIP guest, which I was a bit disappointed about. The pillow was too flat for me, but otherwise everything was perfect.
