MoschMosch in Heidelberg

We had the vegan ramen “Glücksfühlen” (with vegan mince) and the yakiudon with marinated beef. The udon noodles were very tasty thanks to the sauce, the beef was solid but nothing special. The vegan ramen was good, but it lacked a little something special - maybe I should try the other variations. The portions were generous overall, especially the ramen. The lemonade with lemon and ginger is also recommended. We would definitely come back and try more dishes!

There were ten of us there. We were warmly welcomed and shown to the square. There are a variety of Japanese dishes, excellent in taste and attractively prepared. A children's menu rounds off the offer for families in a great and affordable way. The kimchi is a bit too spicy for us, but that's a matter of taste. If you can't manage everything, there is also an ideal transport box for ramen. We'd love to come back.

Bland, just bland. The hoisin sauce that is on every table is delicious...

We have just taken our order (delivery via UberEats) for around €90. A complete main course was missing. After a phone call, the employee told me that they were only four waiters and that the entire restaurant would be there without a shift leader/management. I was not offered any accommodation. Unfortunately, the food itself was cold across the board. Completely carelessly 'dressed' with brown lettuce leaves. The sauces were lying open in the side dishes so that everything was soggy. The vegetable fried rice was a joke. No spices whatsoever. Hardly any vegetables. We will never order from this restaurant again!

Every time I'm in Heidelberg, I come to eat here at least once. We started the tradition after the marathon and the ramen is just heaven. Well seasoned and delicious. Simply balm for the soul. And the service was always great too!

Probably one of the worst Asian food I had since living in Germany for 3 years. The soup is blend and has no near resemblance to a proper Japanese ramen. The enoki mushrooms are hardly cooked. The soup wasn’t not lukewarm when served. Do reconsider if you like to come.

Good restaurant with friendly service and fair prices.

A bit crowded here on the main street. But the food is highly recommended, especially with the accompanying sauces. But the portions are just too small for my taste. 3 times there, each time a little bit is missing. Therefore 4 stars.

After a 5-minute wait, we were able to get a table on a Saturday evening because we hadn't made a reservation. After 10 minutes we were served. The Raman was super delicious and what else we saw invites you to eat more. THANKS

Good food with lots of choice. I found the beetroot in my Crispy Chicken Bowl pointless, but next time I'll just order it without it 😄 In addition, you come to a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping street.

It's unbelievable to charge so much money for this.. the glass noodle salad simply tastes like nothing since the sauce was replaced and there are almost no vegetables left in it.. so much money for a box full of glass noodles.. Unbelievable.

In short. Preparation takes a long time. Some dry duck with noodles costs €21. Beef curry came almost cold. Unfortunately it wasn't any fun.

The food was ok…to digest, nothing special. I don't understand why this is so overrated?! The service was also “great” :), we waited exactly 40 minutes for the food and ordered after about 20 minutes because no one told us that we could also do it via the app. 👍

The place seems a bit too big for the staff as it gets loud and messy during rush hour. So you wait for someone to take your order until you realise you can actually order and pay through a webapp. The system doesn't seem to work so well as every waiter seems to be responsible for the whole restaurant. Food was good though, we had two vegan ramen. We were satisfied without any upgrades. Some of the prices are too high for what you are getting.

The MoschMosch in Heidelberg is a nice, open restaurant where you can have a delicious meal. The service is quick and friendly.

I don't understand the bad reviews. I found it very tasty.

The service and kitchen were overwhelmed at lunchtime (Monday). Our starter arrived after a long wait with the main meals, both of which were partly lukewarm to cool on the surface, so had clearly been there for a long time. Charging 12 euros for a small plate of very mushy vegetables is not appropriate. The quality is simply not right. The fried noodles for the same price were ok. Overall disappointing. I'm used to better things from MoschMosch.

The waitresses weren't in the mood at all, they were all sitting there and were on Tik Tok. We waited forever until someone even came into view. food was okay

The three of us ate there yesterday around 7 p.m. We got a table without a reservation. The food was good and served quickly, the service was friendly, and the price-performance ratio was okay. We were satisfied and would go again.

Unfortunately, after I ordered, I had to wait exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes for my food and was therefore in a bad mood. The waitress said it would be “normal” to wait over an hour for your food. So if you want to eat here, you should have plenty of time and ideally not be hungry and have no plans for afterwards.

The portions were a good 1/3 larger 2 years ago, so the prices weren't appropriate...

The food was always good, unfortunately the prices were first increased significantly and now the portion sizes were significantly reduced. A ramen with tofu has a thin slice of tofu... pretty sporty for €16. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is no longer right

Unfortunately glass noodle satay with supposedly vegan peanut sauce was ordered and this dish was slapped together carelessly, you had to look for the vegetables in oversized pieces, about 5 pieces, peanuts chopped not half an espresso spoon Well, that would all have been worth 2 stars, but unfortunately I really upset my stomach with this dish...

The food was really sufficient and very good. You should go there when you are in Heidelberg.

The service was very nice and the food came quickly. We were there on Sunday and therefore couldn't make a reservation, but there was still enough space at 2 p.m. The selection of food is based on Japanese food but is more westernized. The Gyoza were very crispy and definitely recommended, but the Redo Karre was a bit tasteless or nothing special and the noodles were a bit hard (I wouldn't order them again). Portion sizes are perfect and the selection is great too. Next time I'll try the ramen. Otherwise the restaurant is very nicely decorated.

We've enjoyed coming here regularly since it opened over 10 years ago, but the service and cleanliness have become increasingly disastrous - even though the food and selection on the menu isn't bad, we don't come back anymore. Not only did we have to ask the waiters to come to the table several times each time to even be able to order something - like today, at 30*C, having to wait over half an hour before you can even order your drinks is an imposition. But well, it's hard to find staff and maybe that was simply unfavorably planned by the restaurant manager on each of our visits... But the absolute highlight were the toilets - they have always been very neglected, but they are unhygienic and just a complete disgrace: two toilets For the ladies, one was out of order (locked) and the other had no lock (!)... I don't know if I've ever experienced a publicly accessible toilet not being lockable. Apart from that, apparently nothing had been cleaned for hours (days?), the sink drain was so clogged that the water rose higher every time you washed your hands. That's simply a no-go. If the kitchen is as well maintained as the toilet, I will definitely not eat there anymore. What a shame!

Cool location and above all very tasty food. The price is completely okay. Service friendly and on point...

It was a worst experience we ever had in any restaurant. No one cares about the order and the order served after 2 hours of taking the order. We also never received any recommendation from the waitress about the type of food/drink and any special drink. THe waitress is very rude and received other germans well. Also, we ordered noodles, rice with chicken but unforunately they delivered VEGAN and took another 1 hour to give us chicken. In total we spend 3 hours and none of them satisfied with the service.

Food took almost an hour to arrive. But taste was okay. Unfortunately it only has stools to sit on. Therefore very uncomfortable.

Unfortunately it has worn off a bit. I'm a little disappointed that the yakitori are no longer classic yakitori, but much more like regular grilled chicken on a spit. The yakiudon was a bit greasy this time. Still, overall still tasty, but in my opinion not as bombastic.

There is much better in the old town! I ordered a homemade lemonade 0.5l. This was stale and not edible. After asking whether this could not be changed, the waitress simply said that I would be happy to have a new drink for free. The food had a strange bitter aftertaste and wasn't really good for the price. I had number 92.

Atmosphere is nice and all, but it is one of the tasteless ramen I have had. The service is also bad and incredibly slow, we waited a long time even though we tried multiple times to get their attention. We asked for an allergy and the waiter was very annoyed, he said he asked but I got the allergic reaction. Luckily it is not fatal. Would not recommend at all and be VERY careful if you have any strong allergies

We went to this restaurant today and everything was fine except the waitress. I don't know what her problem was, but she's so cold to us. She didn't even smile or greet us. When we told her we would pay she just said “okay”. My girlfriend and I wanted to pay separately, but she didn't even ask if we would pay separately or together, she just gave us the receipt and said goodbye. Weird. We like to tip when the waitress is nice, but when not , we won't even give you 1 cent. You do not deserve it. 🤷‍♀️

Means nicer loading. Pretty crowded in the evenings. I ordered ramen and had never eaten it before. They just tasted like noodle soup and were only lukewarm when they arrived. For dessert I ate cherry cheese kisses and I advise everyone to KEEP AWAY FROM IT. They smell like chicken nuggets (probably because of the breading) and taste like something indefinable, but unfortunately anything but good. I can't even begin to taste cheesecake. I can't comment on the rest of the dishes, but my meal wasn't particularly good. Except for the dessert, it wasn't bad either

The “ramen” is absolutely cheap and inedible. Is this even real chicken? The Dim Sun chicken was very tasty, even if 4 pieces for just under €7 is a bit expensive. The service was friendly.

We dined here as an Asian family. As we entered, no one even entertained us. We tried to get a table but they said they didn’t have space for us, but happily entertained the Germans. We spoke with them in German too, so I don’t see the problem there. We waited 40 minutes for a table. When we finally got a table and ordered, the order took more than an hour and a half to arrive. On the contrary, the Germans, who had arrived later than us, had already been served. I don’t see any other possible reason for the difference in treatments between us and the other customers. Really disappointed that an establishment like this would treat us differently because we’re Asian. The staff were extremely rude to us and tried to turn us away immediately at the door. They got our orders wrong too. Racist establishment. Do not support.

I think the ramen is really tasty and the other dishes I've tried so far have been great too. Can highly recommend it.

The food was good as usual, but it gets incredibly crowded on weekends. We had to wait about 15 minutes until a seat became available, even though we didn't go out to eat until around 2 p.m. in the hope that it would be emptier by then. The flow of guests never stopped, which of course also speaks for the MoschMosch.

Ordered online and picked up. We used to eat at Mosch Mosch several times but the taste got worse from time to time. The red curry sauce was completely thick and tasted very artificial with flavor enhancers. For the price it was out of the question, unfortunately it was the last time we ate there.

Unfortunately closed at the moment due to water damage... unfortunately it wasn't listed anywhere online.

We had to wait a bit, but it wasn't long before we had a table for two. The service was good and attentive, despite it being so busy. The food was good but nothing extraordinary and we expected more from the nori fries. You can do it once, but we won't repeat our visit.

The service was very nice! The ramen soup is really delicious for cold days. The side dishes are nicely coordinated. She warmed us. It could have been a little warmer, but still OK. The furnishings are sober and functional. Window seat with a view of the pedestrian zone. Let's go there again.

One of my favorite restaurants in Heidelberg because everyone can find something here. I eat vegan, but my omnivorous friends also find delicious dishes here. The atmosphere is very cozy.

Had ramen and I have to say it wasn't good, noodles tasted like something for seniors without teeth, it was supposed to be a broth and not a sauce, I don't like drinking sauces. Gyoza were standard. The other dish with rice was well.. Vegetables not fresh (frozen food) Rice on top sent dried, the turkey cold.. For someone who had been in Japan for 5 years, it was an impertinence to serve something like that. Unfortunately I won't eat there anymore. All the best and yes, everyone has different tastes, try it for yourself.

Das Essen war lecker, ich hatte Ramen. Dazu zwei Vorspeisen und zwei Getränke. Die hausgemachte Limonade war sehr gut, der Tee jedoch gefühlt nur Fingerhutgröße. Das ist für den Preis nicht ok. Unsere Bedienung war großartig.

Wir gehen schon sehr viele Jahre zu MoschMosch, das Essen hat geschmacklich etwas nachgelassen. Auch gibt es diese tolle orangrote Soße nicht mehr. Aber wir hatten eine super nette Bedienung an diesem Abend!

Nach 22:00 Uhr ist da TOP Stimmung wenn man mit macht. Kann ich nur Empfehlen.

Das Essen war lecker, jedoch ist einem nach dem Getränke- Service bereits der Appetit vergangen. Die blonde Bedienung legte am Montag (13.11.23) leider ein unmögliches Verhalten an den Tag. Unmotiviert, unhöfliche Tonlage und arrogantes Verhalten. Nachdem ich sie höflich gefragt habe, ob ich statt der Pepsi Cola (aus der Flasche, die zu war) doch ein Wasser bekommen könnte, habe ich einen widerwärtigen Blick und das Wasser dann auf den Tisch geknallt bekommen. Dazu sitzt sie lieber an der Bar und chillt am Handy, während andere Gäste darauf warten, bedient zu werden. Als wir zahlen wollten, (mussten die männlichen Bedienungen darauf aufmerksam machen, da die Blonde Bedienung lieber mit ihrem Handy beschäftigt war) wurde auch nicht gefragt, ob mit dem Essen alles in Ordnung war. Ich selbst arbeite in der Gastronomie und habe lange nicht mehr solch ein Service erlebt. Auch wenn der Laden leer ist, heißt es nicht, dass man nichts tun muss. Ganz im Gegenteil: gerade wenn nichts los ist, (und zu dem Zeitpunkt waren vielleicht 3 Tische belegt) sollte, bzw. darf man eine gute Bedienung erwarten. Einfach schade. Die zwei Herren haben aber einen tollen Job gemacht!

Das Essen ist gut. Der Tee sehr lecker, aber mir persönlich ist es zu ungemütlich dort. Die Stühle sind ohne Lehne und man sitzt viel zu nah an fremden Menschen.

Wir wurden zu zweit an einen 6er Tisch gesetzt. Kurze Zeit später wurden einfach 3 weitere Personen mit an den Tisch gesetzt, ohne dass gefragt wurde ob es für uns in Ordnung ist. Bestellen konnten wir leider auch erst nach 30min nachdem wir nachgefragt hatten. Essen war sehr lecker und sehr schön angerichtet

Ich liebe den Moschmosch. Für mich schmeckt es fast wie in Japan. Das Essen wird frisch gemacht und es gibt für jeden Geschmack etwas. Das Restaurant ist immer gut besucht. Daher würde ich in Stoßzeiten reservieren. Das Restaurant befindet sich direkt in der Innenstadt. Das Personal ist freundlich aber leider dauert es bei Auslastung ein wenig länger. Die meisten können auch ganz gut Englisch.

Definitiv zu laut, da hilft nur die Flucht. Entspannt sein Essen genießen kann man hier nicht. Habe meine Morgensonne einpacken lassen. Das Essen in Darmstadt erhält 5 Sterne

Ein wirklich schönes Restaurant.

Gebratene Udon Nudeln und Limonade waren lecker. Service und Ambiente waren gut. Einzig die Musik fand ich ein bisschen nervig.

Delicious food, beautifull interior, nice music!

Leckeres, gesundes, abwechslungsreiches Essen mit sehr zeitgemäßer veganer Alternativ-Auswahl (beyond meat etc.). Auch bei viel Betrieb bleibt der Service freundlich und bemüht. Die Akustik ist das einzige, das nicht optimal ist, hier könnte man mit Schallfängern (Bildern, Pflanzen, etc) arbeiten.

Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Es war gut besucht und wir mussten kurz warten. Die Bedienung war freundlich und wir wurden sehr gut bedient. Das war das 1.Mal MoschMosch und nicht das letzte Mal. Kommen gerne wieder in einer andren Stadt. Schicker Laden und saubere Toiletten.

Essen war sehr gut, jedoch hat die Sauberkeit des Restaurants zu wünschen übrig gelassen: Tisch hat geklebt, Spinnenweben an den Lampen…

Es war wenig los. Trotzdem hat es ewig gedauert. Unsere Erwartungen waren aus vergangenen MoschMosch-Besuchen eher durchschnittlich hoch. Die Speisen waren beide lauwarm und kaum gewürzt und das Fleisch fasrig und trocken. Alles war sehr sehr verkocht. Eines der Gerichte mit Erdnusssosse war nicht genießbar. Auf die Rechnung haben wir dann ebenfalls nochmal 25 Minuten gewartet. Insgesamt unser bei weitem schlechtester MoschMosch-Besuch. Der zweite Stern ist den leckeren Limonaden geschuldet

Schreibe fast nie Reviews im Internet, aber hier musste ich was sagen: Habe Sonntag Abend um 20:00 (Küche hat bis 21:30 geöffnet, war also auch nicht kurz vor knapp!) über Ubereats bestellt; Essen kam exakt 1,5 Stunden später bei mir an, obwohl wenig los ist im Laden. Alles war leider komplett kalt. Dim Sum waren eingefallen. Habe Beef and Broccoli bestellt und es war kein Brokkoli, sondern nur Beef und Zucchini drin. Die Sauce ist leider komplett versalzen. Das Essen war leider nicht einmal mehr lauwarm, sondern einfach komplett kalt. Schmeckt, als ob sich niemand mehr Mühe geben wollte. Ich habe keine authentische Küche erwartet, aber, dass ich gar nichts erwarten kann, hätte ich nicht gedacht. Dafür so viel Geld auszugeben ist traurig! Bestellt auf jeden Fall lieber bei Asia-Freunde der Sichuan Küche, oder Yangda in Wieblingen!
