Great restaurant, all dishes freshly prepared, a huge selection. Also enthusiastic about strollers and wheelchairs, everything with accessibility and even a changing table. By offering drinks included in the price, you'll be happy to stay longer and enjoy the evening so much more, a great concept. We would love to come back.

Went to Kicho again last night after 10 months. We were satisfied last time - yesterday, unfortunately, not at all. The buffet was quite large in terms of selection. The sushi was fresh and quite tasty too. The finished dishes were only lukewarm, very glutamate-heavy and otherwise very tasteless. The raw meat and the fish fillet for the grill were bad - dried out, partly gray-green... In addition to beef, pork, chicken and lamb, crocodile, kangaroo, frog legs and zebra are offered. Does it have to be that way? Who likes something like that? Less would be more here! The beef, raw shrimp and vegetables looked fresh - they were also delicious when fried. 2 stars for the drinks package and the sushi. We won't be coming back!!!!

Delicious food, large selection

Kicho is a large Asian restaurant with friendly staff, good quality ingredients and an all-you-eat and drink buffet at fair prices. In addition to the classic buffet, there is a grill buffet with a good selection. Despite the size of the restaurant, the noise level is acceptable. People with walking difficulties and wheelchair users can easily visit the restaurant. Cleanliness is fundamental. Unfortunately, some guests are unable to behave at the buffet or in the toilet. Another positive thing to note: there is no excessively loud music and you don't smell like a buffet when you leave the restaurant. The furnishings/looks are a bit old, we'd love to come back.

Super great restaurant. The food is good and the drinks are really the highlight. We drive there especially from Sinsheim. I can only recommend it. ————— We've been there a total of 8 times - 3 times it was good and 5 times it was bad. But today it was particularly bad. Everything was “reprocessed”, i.e. rolled in breading and fried, the sushi was stale and the worst thing I have ever eaten, the noodles were hard, the fried duck now had a soft “crust”. Overall there was little choice. We've really lost a lot of energy in a very short space of time. Unfortunately that was our last visit. P.s. The older gentleman (owner?) should also hold back, he runs around and watches all the guests and is unfriendly.

I recently tried the All You Can Eat offer at this restaurant and unfortunately I was very disappointed. The dishes were mostly old and cold, which greatly affected the enjoyment. In addition, the ratio of fat to meat was unfavorable as the dishes tended to be heavy on fat. The spices seemed to have received little attention in the kitchen, which severely limited the taste of the dishes. What is positive is that the drinks are included in the price, which offers a certain added value. Overall, however, I cannot recommend the restaurant due to the shortcomings mentioned.

The food was very bad only 2 rows were full and these 2 rows were only vegetables. The food was very bad, the food tasted like a 1 year old fish... I'm very disappointed, you could only get 2 drinks. It was very expensive than other Chinese all u can eat buffet although you can only have 2 drinks here but other restaurants are cheaper and you can have ordinary drinks. The sushi was very poor quality it tasted like expired rice. The service was very bad, a woman here almost had an argument with everyone, the whole buffet was completely empty the whole time, then we informed the owner and she simply said I don't care, I don't have to refill the buffet, I can do what I want and now I want don't fill it up. She started an argument with me and she just combed into my face and her spit then landed on my face 🤮. From 1 to 10 I give this restaurant a 2 I am very very disappointed I will never eat here again😑

In itself a nice restaurant, typical buffet restaurant, you can find everything. Drinks (non-alcoholic) are included in the price. However, unfortunately it is also a typical buffet restaurant with a lot of added glutamate, so that after the first plate you feel like stones in your stomach and you can't eat any more plates. A big star deduction for that. I therefore only recommend sushi, salad buffet and tepanyaki (freshly fried). There are also buffet restaurants in Heidelberg without added glutamate, so we prefer to go there.

We arrived quite late and were told that there was little or no sushi left, but that everything else would be refilled. There would also have been an á la carte meal, but we decided on the buffet. And that was really very extensive - and delicious. There were also rare types of meat such as zebra or kangaroo. The drinks are included in the price of around 27 euros, including up to 2 alcoholic ones per person. There are Teinacher lemonades, the usual soft drinks, water, but also various coffee specialties. So: recommended variety.

I was definitely pleasantly surprised. I can absolutely understand the positive reviews. The restaurant is large and the staff and boss were very friendly and helpful. The food was also very tasty and I and my family really enjoyed it. I will definitely come again!

Were visiting Heidelberg and went to this restaurant without much expectation. I am very positively surprised. Service was great and the food was great. Food came quickly and the value for money was also great! I can only recommend. If you're ever in the area, be sure to stop by!

We followed the pretty good reviews and were totally disappointed. We arrived around 7pm on a Friday - we were worried we wouldn't get a table since we didn't reserve - but there were maybe 10 tables occupied. By then the good things had already been completely emptied. Unfortunately, most of it wasn't refilled until 9:30. The boss of the house is also really not friendly as many people write. The food was also mediocre - our stomachs were rumbling quite a bit afterwards. We're not coming anymore.

Very good lunch buffet with 2 drinks.

It was striking how attentive and friendly all the staff treat their guests. I was greeted with a smile and offered help in choosing dishes. In addition, the atmosphere in the hall was very cozy and inviting. It was felt that the management of the buffet pays great attention to the comfort of customers. We went for the all inclusive dinner buffet option (only limit is max 2 alcoholic drinks). Enjoyed a variety of dishes, some created by ourselves. Plenty and exotic ingredients available, incl kangaroo and zebra, also some fish I hadn't even heard before. After putting your ingredients together it's cooked for you and brought to your table. We each had about 5 (smaller) courses incl dessert

We were traveling through with the camper and wanted to go out for dinner in the evening (8.30 p.m.) and decided on the Kicho Buffet Restaurant. We were greeted and taken to our place by the manager of the store. He explained to us that it costs €28.60 per person including drinks. We then wanted to serve ourselves at the buffet, but in every display there were only leftovers, which had not been refilled in the 1.5 hours that we were there. In addition, the boss sat down right next to us and spoke loudly to his employees in Chinese and cleared away plates in between, etc. even though the entire restaurant was actually empty. At the beginning there were 30-40 people there, at the end it was almost just us. It almost seemed to us as if the boss was gossiping or saying loudly what he didn't like - it certainly wasn't great for us. We were both disappointed to have experienced something like that for such a price. I really don't understand why this store has so many stars in the reviews. Apparently the “locals” don’t know anything else.

The food is of higher quality than in other buffet restaurants, but the service is extremely poor. The waiter, an older man, constantly looks at your fingers and insults you as soon as you "waste food" (there was still a small piece of cake left as I unfortunately didn't like it), rushes you and comments on every round of food. If you report it to customer service, all you get is a “sorry”, unfortunately I expected a little more. Not recommended if you want peace and quiet while eating and don't want to hear comments when you pick up the empty plates.

We had dinner here today on our weekend trip and had a perfect experience. We received a very warm welcome, the staff were always super nice and attentive. The buffet offers a huge selection, is regularly refilled and everything we tried tasted really good. The fact that the drinks are already included in the price and you can use unlimited water and soft drinks is a very customer-friendly concept and surprised us positively; we had never known that before. We paid just over €60 for two people including tips. Overall, a really great restaurant that is definitely worth a visit. It's just a shame that it's 300km from our hometown.

Unfortunately we were disappointed this time: the food wasn't good and the service was very unfriendly. The waitress was nice, but the man (I'm assuming it's the manager) was incredibly rude and disrespectful. He was also very disrespectful to other customers and always rushed everyone. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

The food was good but the staff (the man) was unfriendly. He showed no manners. He was polite to some customers. We thanked him again and again after he brought us the food, but he didn't respond. But the waitress that day was even more polite than the manager. That's why I only give this review 2 stars. Wouldn't recommend it.

Food was delicious. What was missing there was the air conditioning wasn't turned on and music wouldn't be bad either and at 25.90 euros I think it's too expensive for one person.

The buffet food was cold, the food didn't taste fresh, the desserts were slightly sour and not edible. Unfortunately, I asked other guests who also felt that the food had something that wasn't worth enjoying. Especially since the evening buffet cost €28.90 and for €30 you only get €1 in change, only 10 cents is still not ok, but at the price of just under €30 it's cheeky to deliver such a meal. Edit: all 4 men have had stomach pains since this morning, you can imagine the rest. I don't like writing such a review, but it was true and has been the case twice. Will not enter the store again.

Everything was very good and tasted delicious, but when I was there, one of the employees was rude and seemed like he couldn't communicate properly with people. Everyone else is very nice :)

Well, the taste is familiar to Japanese people, and it's all-you-can-eat buffet style. Up to 2 bottles of alcohol are allowed. You can also order teppanyaki, but I was nervous so I didn't order it.

We came to the restaurant in a good mood for a lunch meal. When we ordered, the boss didn't like the fact that we didn't want a buffet. Accordingly, he then explained to us in a sharp tone that each lunch dish would cost €1 more than excellent. We didn't order any drinks because of the time pressure. When serving, the man slammed the plates on the table! and again in a borderline, aggressive tone meant that we because. If you don't order drinks you would have to pay another €1. But this time he would let us go. I've never been to a restaurant in my life where I was so rude and... was treated aggressively. These people will never see me again. It's a shame, our office isn't far away.

Sauberes Restaurant mit sehr nettem Service, das Buffet hat viel Auswahl, ist frisch und wird immer aufgefüllt. Leider mussten wir 2x die Erfahrung machen, dass Eltern mit Kindern dort waren und nicht darauf geachtet haben, dass Gäste ungestört sind. Die Kinder schreien laut rum, spielen fangerles, rempeln an den Stühlen, u.s.w..

Vorab: uns gefällt das grundsätzliche Konzept, dass man mehr zahlen muss, wenn man Essen verschwendet (5 Euro). Manchmal ist es aber schwierig im Vornherein einzuschätzen, ob einem die Speisen schmecken - oder nicht. Und wir waren noch nie "Essensverschwender". Was uns geschmeckt hat: Reis, Ente, Hühnchen, geb. Garnelen, Sushi, frisches Obst am Schokobrunnen, Lachs mit Teryakisoße, Eis, Nachspeisen. Was uns gar nicht geschmeckt hat, waren die Pekingsuppe (sehr süß) und im allgemeinen die Soßen. Alle Softdrinks, Kaffeespezialitäten und 2 Weine / Bier sind im Preis enthalten. Man kommt sich durch das Konzept ein bisschen bevormundet vor und obwohl wir das Konzept grundsätzlich gut finden, ist der Rahmen doch sehr eng gesteckt (ab 100g - bzw. halbvolles Glas 5 Euro Aufpreis). Und so kratzt man auch noch den letzten Rest vom Teller, was irgendwie dann doch kein Genuß mehr ist. Wünschenswert wären noch mehr Auswahl an alkoholischen Getränken (zb ein Glas Sekt, etc) und mehr Auswahl an fertigen chinesischen Gerichten. Die Atmosphäre ist irgendwie kühl. Und da alles Selbstbedienung ist und nur abgeräumt wird, nicht richtig gemütlich und persönlich.

Alles, was das Herz begehrt! Das Buffet bietet eine große Auswahl an frischen Speisen. Zusätzlich kann man sich Fisch, Fleisch und Gemüse vom Koch anbraten lassen. Neben Klassikern findet man auch sehr exquisite Lebensmittel bei KICHO. Nennenswert ist der freundliche und zuvorkommende Kundenservice. Definitiv mehr als einen Besuch wert!

Nettes asia Restaurant mit viel Auswahl. Geschmacklich gut, prima Sushi auswahl. Personal nett und zuvorkommend. Ambiente und WC sauber. Gerne mal wieder. Sehr gut finde ich den Kindern Preis 1,50 pro Lebensjahr.

饭菜味道不错，但是店员事先只告诉我们每个人可以免费喝两瓶饮料，并没有告诉我们饮料没喝完会被罚款，而我从头到尾只拿了一瓶饮料。那个店员爷爷在我们准备离开的时候把我们拦下来，指着我剩下的半瓶饮料说要罚我两欧，而且一开始还不允许我们付过钱之后把饮料带走。我认为这种临时追加要求的做法真的很奇怪，如果有这样的规定，应该在客人就餐之前就告知清楚，而不是临走了才突然把人拦住，说一堆莫名其妙的要求。如果以后再去海德堡，我们不会再来这家店

Also wenn man hier her kommt, sollte man sich die Regeln vorher genau durchlesen. Bisher musste ich das in keinem all you can eat Lokal. Der Inhaber war sehr unfreundlich zu mir und nein ich war es ihm gegenüber nicht. Ich hatte lediglich höflich gefragt, wo die Soßen stehen, um mir meinen Teller selbst zu richten. Er meinte auf der anderen Seite und ich hatte mich höflich bedankt wie es mein Anstand verlangt. Er ist mir dann nachgerannt und ups, ich hatte es gewagt meine Soße direkt über mein Essen zu geben, was ich in allen anderen all you can eat Lokalen auch tue. Er hat mir daraufhin ein "verschmutztes" Schälchen, ich würde schon fast sagen, hingeworfen, weil die Soße hier wohl extra da rein muss. Ich meinte Entschuldigung, ich wusste das nicht. Er hat diesen Satz "nachgeäfft" . Eine Frau neben mir, meinte das könne man auch freundlich sagen. Ich bin nicht auf den Mund gefallen, aber ich war sprachlos über so ein unmögliches Verhalten. Beim Empfang wurde uns gleich gesagt, dass wenn wir zu viel übrig lassen, einen Aufpreis bezahlen müssen. Grundsätzlich versteh ich das und möchte auch nichts dagegen sagen. Für mich ist das nichts, da ich die ganze Zeit dachte : Hoffentlich schmeckt mir das was ich mir auf den Teller getan habe (man nimmt ja auch mal etwas wo man versuchen möchte, wenn man zum ersten Mal da ist). Meine positiven Sterne gelten dem Nachtisch. Den fand ich wirklich toll!

Hallo, es gibt dort nur Buffet, für uns genau das richtige, außerdem eine große Auswahl an Getränken, welche auch "all inclusive" sind (max. zwei alkoholische Getränke). Es gibt eine ausreichend große Auswahl an Gerichten und es sollte für jeden der asiatisches essen mag etwas dabei sein. Das Fleisch und der Fisch für den Teppanyaki ist größtenteils gefrorene Ware, stört mich persönlich aber überhaupt nicht und war Geschmacklich einwandfrei.

Wir waren zu zweit spontan in diesem Restaurant zum Mittagessen. Das Essen war gut. Für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Knapp fiel die Sushi Auswahl und Menge aus. Da es ein Buffet war, war einfach zu wenig vorhanden oder hätte zügiger nachgefüllt gerden müssen. Die Sanitären Anlagen waren geräumig und sauber. Der Service war sehr gut. Wir wurden gleich am Eingang freundich begrüßt. Zum Buffetessen sind 2 Getränke inklusive. (Auch Kaffee möglich). Insgesamt Preis-Leistung gut!

Sehr umfangreiches Buffet, da bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Sushi, Ente, die üblichen Gerichte, Grill zum Selbstbraten etc. alles ist vorhanden. Die leeren Schalen werden schnell wieder befüllt. Und das Beste, die Getränke und der Café ist inklusive.

Gute Auswahl und schmackhaft. Leider unnötig die mehrfache Erklärung dass pro Kind nur 1 Frei Getränk möglich ist im Buffet Preis.

Großes Buffet, schöne Auswahl und sehr lecker. Die Leute waren alle sehr freundlich. Preis Leistung völlig in Ordnung.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Mittagsbüfett ist sehr, sehr lecker. Für 14,90 € hat man 2 Getränke frei und kann sich seinen Teller immer wieder so voll machen, wie man möchte. Kinder haben 1 Getränk frei und zahlen pro Altersjahr 1.-€. Desserts sind ebenso sehr zu empfehlen. Der Inhaber ist ein bisschen nervig. Man kommt sich von ihm beobachtet vor. Ambiente ist schlicht und locker. Wir waren schon öfters dort und werden immer wieder gerne kommen!

Tolles Essen... Faires Buffet-Angebot incl. Getränken... alles was das Herz begehrt... schön das es das Kicho noch gibt.... weiter so!

Sehr gutes All you can eat Buffet: große Auswahl an Speisen, Getränken, Desserts zu einem guten Preis! Nette Atmosphäre, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, alles hat gut geschmeckt! Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder! Sehr empfehlenswert! Das Restaurant ist im 1.OG aber durch den Fahrstuhl auch gut mit Kinderwagen und / oder Rollstuhl zu erreichen!

Schmeckt mir sehr gut, viel Auswahl. Und der Mittagspreis ist Klasse. 14.50€ Abends etwas mehr Auswahl aber 26.50€ ist mir persönlich zu viel. Aber echt Lecker 👍👍
