The Italian cuisine here is highly recommended! A lovely spot with a view, sitting at the front of the restaurant, allows you to truly enjoy it all!

Unfortunately, I can't give it more than three stars overall. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere by the lake is absolutely beautiful. We ordered pizza. The price was good, but unfortunately, the taste wasn't our cup of tea. The pizza was very dry, and the crust was relatively wide and very hard. There was a lot of "flour" underneath the pizza, which made it taste even drier in the mouth. A shame.

It's simply lovely to sit there on the terrace, overlooking Lake Aasee...almost like being on vacation. The food is good, the service is fast, pleasant, and friendly. The prices are okay for Münster (everything is a bit more expensive here, though).

I've been to Moro several times now with work colleagues and have always been very satisfied with the food. The view of Lake Aasee is also great - especially in summer, you can sit outside in the beautiful outdoor seating. But: Unfortunately, making reservations sometimes doesn't work out. On our last visit, there was a huge line at the entrance, and when we mentioned our reservation to a member of staff, we were initially turned away and asked to join the others waiting. In the end, we were given priority, but despite having a reservation, we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. As mentioned, Moro was packed, so we noticed that the wait staff were quite stressed. Understandable and OK. What I found really unfortunate was the unfriendly reaction of our wait staff member when I told her I had ordered a different drink. After this feedback and my offer to leave, then to come back with the wrong drink and argue that I had ordered it, I found it borderline. So I insisted on the non-alcoholic wheat beer I had originally ordered. Sorry, but that's not possible! I personally didn't like these two points, so I only gave the service 4 stars. A changing weekly menu, super delicious food, and a great location (especially in summer on the terrace right by Lake Aasee). We only had a less than positive experience with the service – unfortunately, they didn't provide any advice when we asked and didn't seem particularly friendly. Otherwise, it was great! :)

Great restaurant with amazingly delicious pasta. Beautifully located on Lake Aa. We spent the entire afternoon here and felt very comfortable. There's plenty of parking within walking distance. The service was generally very good, but it's a bit disappointing that you're not served again once the food and coffee have finished. You have to go after them to get another soda or cappuccino. It's not that bad, though; we didn't die of thirst. I'd be happy to come back. Overall, very satisfied.

The only small drawback: On very busy days, the interior can feel a bit cramped, which somewhat detracts from the ambiance. However, the fantastic food easily compensates for this and makes the visit a thoroughly enjoyable experience. In conclusion: Those who value excellent cuisine will love Moro 112 – and the cozy ambiance is even more enjoyable on quieter days.

Great ambiance, fantastic location, super friendly and attentive service, and fantastic food. We went there three times during our stay in Münster, and everything was top-notch. Our highlights: the tagliatelle with fresh porcini mushrooms and truffles, and the pizza, just like you'd expect from Italy. Thin, crispy dough with classic but also unusual toppings. We would eat there again anytime.

It was really crowded when we arrived there around 7:30 pm on a Tuesday, but we managed to get a table without reservation. We were expecting having to wait a long time for the food but unexpectedly the food came really quick! Staff was nice and real Italian! The food was good and a lot! I can see why it's such a busy place.

The food is delicious, fresh, and incredibly fast, even though the place is always packed. And that's the only criticism. It's incredibly cramped and very loud. Sometimes you can tell the waiters are trying to get rid of someone so they can fill the table as quickly as possible. The restaurant's location is also a real drawback, and the monopoly is evident.

The food was fantastic. A HUGE pizza for a small price. The food arrived super fast, about 5 minutes. So if you're planning on sitting for a bit longer, I recommend getting an appetizer. The pizza was delicious, but nice and thin, so it was manageable. It was quite busy, but that wasn't a problem for the restaurant. If we ever find ourselves in Münster again, we'll definitely eat here again!

The food and drinks were good, and the staff were very friendly. The pizzas were very large, and the tables were too small for them. The tables were so close together that we could eat with our neighbors...which meant the noise level was incredibly high.

It's a shame. Based on the reviews, I probably just expected too much. Even though the service is really attentive and on the ball, the food is unfortunately a disaster. Pizza: Huge, but pretty tasteless. The dough lacks salt and finesse. Pasta: I find it difficult to hand a child a mess of sauce-drenched pasta. But if the sauce also tastes neutral (despite adding seasoning), then something is wrong. The final highlight (unfortunately in a negative sense) was the arugula chicken salad. If, like me, you thought you'd get good olive oil and maybe balsamic vinegar with your salad at an Italian restaurant, you'll be just as disappointed here. Warning: Although there's no mention of this on the menu, the salad is drenched in mustard dressing. And unfortunately, it was drenched in mustard dressing, so much so that due to the generous portion of Parmesan cheese (very tasty!), you couldn't see that there was dressing on the salad. So you end up drizzling vinegar and oil on it, and you notice the mess when you mix it. Normally, I'm the person who makes the criticism on the spot, but after a "that's how we always do it," I lost the desire to discuss it further due to the noise level in the restaurant. It's a shame. As I mentioned. A note on the menu stating that the salads are already dressed would probably not only be advisable, but a must.

The buffet for a private family celebration was delivered. Everything was executed smoothly and on time! The appetizers were very attractively arranged, and the food was excellent and very generous. I would definitely recommend it!

Would you recommend it? Of course! Moro 112 is a good Italian restaurant with good food. Since I always eat the same pizza with the same ingredients, I can't really judge the other dishes. 😉 But this pizza is solid, tastes good, and is filling. EVERYTHING is top-notch. The ambiance at Lake Aasee always brings a kind of "holiday feeling" to everyday life, even in winter.

I'll start with the positive: the location on the banks of Lake Aasee is, of course, absolutely fantastic. Accordingly, when the weather is good, the place is packed. Since the seating can definitely be described as cramped, "packed" is to be taken literally. But we were lucky and were able to snag a table for two. Not everyone was so lucky, and those who dared to sit at a larger table were rather rudely greeted by the usher. A scene that guests don't really want to see. Now for the food, the actual reason for our visit. The positive: the pizzas were hot and large. At least. Unfortunately, I have to give my tonno a very modest review. The tomato sauce on the pizza appears to consist only of passata. You won't find any oregano, basil, or onions on the pizza. What a shame. In terms of taste, it was a bit of a letdown. Then there was the worst: a hair on my wife's pizza. What a bummer. The wait staff apologizes and brings a new pizza in no time. At least. They don't ask for new drinks; it gives the impression that you're being asked to leave quickly so the next guests can be served. It's a shame. As a host, I wouldn't have missed the opportunity to make up for the faux pas with an espresso or a dessert on the house. But hey, it's not necessary.

It's embarrassing that at the prices on July 11, 2025, at around 3:00 p.m., there wasn't even soap or hand sanitizer in either the men's or women's restrooms, and the cleanliness of the premises would have been desirable.

Very nice location right on the lake – a holiday feeling with a great terrace and beautiful view. Parking is available about 100 meters away. The food is solid, if not outstanding. The service is very friendly. The restrooms need to be renovated.

I feel like I've lived in Münster my entire life, and today I finally had the honor of trying out the Morro 112. In short: everything was perfect. I absolutely recommend it!

A very nice restaurant! Located directly on Lake Aasee, it stands out not only for its excellent food but also for its wonderful view. The service is also exceptionally fast. Even with more customers and a very busy restaurant, the service remains fast and friendly. The only drawback I see is the noise level when the restaurant is very busy. The tables are quite close together, which increases the noise level and makes longer conversations at the table rather difficult. But after dinner, you can have plenty of conversation while taking a stroll along Lake Aasee :) Very great food, service, and beautiful location! I'd love to go back!

Great family business - we had a great meal and got a nice seat!

A restaurant that is in a beautiful spot with a view of the lake....and is only 7 km from the Botanical Garden of the University of Munster. You should definitely visit it.... But at Restaurant Moro, you can park nearby for free under the trees. You can also park at the castle nearby for a small fee.

Most of the time when we are in Münster we make a detour to Moro.

Fast Italian cuisine. Pasta, pizza, fish, meat, and vegetarian dishes. A setting right on the water (Aasee) and close to the city center. All in all, highly recommended for lovers of Italian cuisine.

Four of us were there today and had reserved a table in advance. We ordered three pizzas, a salad, and a dessert. All the dishes were delicious and authentically Italian. Unfortunately, the restaurant was very loud and therefore uncomfortable. But that's understandable given the number of seats. What we couldn't understand at all, and what ruined our evening, was that we had just finished eating and my drink was still half full, when the manager came over and asked us if we could leave because there were so many people waiting outside. That was a huge disappointment and no longer reflected Italian hospitality. If I'm sitting at a reserved table in the evening, I want to at least be able to breathe after dinner. The ending convinced us, even though it was our third time there, that we won't be back and won't recommend Moro112 anymore.

The Moro 112 has a great terrace with a view of the small lake. The service is very attentive and quick. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty! But nothing works without a reservation.

It was very busy and many people were waiting for a table, but the drinks and food came very quickly and were very good.

After a walk around the lake, we enjoyed dinner there in the late afternoon. I chose paccheri, a beef dish with chanterelle mushrooms and truffles. It was a fairly modest portion for the price. But I was quiet while eating. I savored every bite. Truly excellent. My partner opted for a seafood pizza, and he was also extremely satisfied with his. The next day, we returned for lunch, and this time we opted for spaghetti Bolognese and pasta with swordfish. These dishes were also extremely tasty.

TABLE RESERVATIONS ADVISABLE! Luckily, we did. We had a pizza called Frutti di Mare, wow!!! Best pizza I've ever eaten. All the other dishes looked very appetizing, and all 7 other people at our table were equally impressed. The restaurant was packed, including the lovely outdoor terrace. The seating takes some getting used to. Beer garden/wooden chairs. But there are cushions. Unfortunately, the service shows that things are extremely stressful when the place is full. The food arrives surprisingly quickly, the value is great, and the location is beautiful. I'd happily go back anytime, but it's too cramped and doesn't exactly invite you to linger. Everyone should make their own decision, though.

After three visits, we come to the following conclusion: The food is expensive, the results are adequate, but true Münsterlanders aren't necessarily full even after a plate of appetizers and a main course... The staff is attentive and adept at their craft. The restaurant is very noisy, the tables are tightly packed, often making it almost impossible to move through, and the air is usually very stuffy. In summer, the windows overlooking Lake Aasee are open, which improves ventilation. If you like shouting at your guests, this is the place for you, but there's nothing discreet about it.

The service is super friendly and very attentive, you sit comfortably by the water with a beautiful view, and the food comes very quickly despite the busy crowd. There's nothing to complain about. Highly recommended! We'll be happy to come back.

We went to Moro on a Friday evening for a company party. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was very friendly and attentive, but unfortunately it was so crowded and loud that we had to shout at each other to have a conversation. It was very tiring in the long run. So my tip: come during the week or pre-order food and pick it up.

It was the most perfect meal I had in Germany. The atmosphere was great, and the food they recommended was delicious. The neighborhood was quiet, but it felt like everyone was there. The kindness of the staff made the meal even more enjoyable.
