Moro is the best Italian restaurant in Münster. I'm always impressed by the quality, and it's superbly organized despite the crowds. Kudos to Leo!

Very tasty, but reservations are necessary. Quite noisy surroundings. Simple seating. Not really suitable for a romantic evening for two.

The food was delicious, and the service was attentive. The restaurant could use a significant reduction in the number of tables, which would greatly improve the ambiance and noise level. The wines were good.

At Moro112, you can get really good Italian cuisine in a pleasant Mediterranean atmosphere! Great salads, fantastic, large pizzas with amazing flavor! There's a beautiful view of Lake Aasee. After ordering, the food arrives surprisingly quickly. It was truly delicious! You should definitely reserve a table in advance!

It's embarrassing that at the prices on July 11, 2025, at around 3:00 p.m., there wasn't even soap or hand sanitizer in either the men's or women's restrooms, and the cleanliness of the premises would have been desirable.

Lakeside with a pleasant atmosphere, good Italian food and drinks. The special menu is available outside. Caters to a variety of clientele, including hikers enjoying the lakeside setting. Distinguished, refined, and informal.

Very nice location right on the lake – a holiday feeling with a great terrace and beautiful view. Parking is available about 100 meters away. The food is solid, if not outstanding. The service is very friendly. The restrooms need to be renovated.

I feel like I've lived in Münster my entire life, and today I finally had the honor of trying out the Morro 112. In short: everything was perfect. I absolutely recommend it!

A very nice restaurant! Located directly on Lake Aasee, it stands out not only for its excellent food but also for its wonderful view. The service is also exceptionally fast. Even with more customers and a very busy restaurant, the service remains fast and friendly. The only drawback I see is the noise level when the restaurant is very busy. The tables are quite close together, which increases the noise level and makes longer conversations at the table rather difficult. But after dinner, you can have plenty of conversation while taking a stroll along Lake Aasee :) Very great food, service, and beautiful location! I'd love to go back!

We recently held our 30th high school reunion at Moro 112, and despite the crowds, we received very quick and friendly service, and the food and drinks were delicious! I'd love to come back with my family or friends. Thank you.

A restaurant that is in a beautiful spot with a view of the lake....and is only 7 km from the Botanical Garden of the University of Munster. You should definitely visit it.... But at Restaurant Moro, you can park nearby for free under the trees. You can also park at the castle nearby for a small fee.

Most of the time when we are in Münster we make a detour to Moro.

Fast Italian cuisine. Pasta, pizza, fish, meat, and vegetarian dishes. A setting right on the water (Aasee) and close to the city center. All in all, highly recommended for lovers of Italian cuisine.

Four of us were there today and had reserved a table in advance. We ordered three pizzas, a salad, and a dessert. All the dishes were delicious and authentically Italian. Unfortunately, the restaurant was very loud and therefore uncomfortable. But that's understandable given the number of seats. What we couldn't understand at all, and what ruined our evening, was that we had just finished eating and my drink was still half full, when the manager came over and asked us if we could leave because there were so many people waiting outside. That was a huge disappointment and no longer reflected Italian hospitality. If I'm sitting at a reserved table in the evening, I want to at least be able to breathe after dinner. The ending convinced us, even though it was our third time there, that we won't be back and won't recommend Moro112 anymore.

The Moro 112 has a great terrace with a view of the small lake. The service is very attentive and quick. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty! But nothing works without a reservation.

It was very busy and many people were waiting for a table, but the drinks and food came very quickly and were very good.

After a walk around the lake, we enjoyed dinner there in the late afternoon. I chose paccheri, a beef dish with chanterelle mushrooms and truffles. It was a fairly modest portion for the price. But I was quiet while eating. I savored every bite. Truly excellent. My partner opted for a seafood pizza, and he was also extremely satisfied with his. The next day, we returned for lunch, and this time we opted for spaghetti Bolognese and pasta with swordfish. These dishes were also extremely tasty.

TABLE RESERVATIONS ADVISABLE! Luckily, we did. We had a pizza called Frutti di Mare, wow!!! Best pizza I've ever eaten. All the other dishes looked very appetizing, and all 7 other people at our table were equally impressed. The restaurant was packed, including the lovely outdoor terrace. The seating takes some getting used to. Beer garden/wooden chairs. But there are cushions. Unfortunately, the service shows that things are extremely stressful when the place is full. The food arrives surprisingly quickly, the value is great, and the location is beautiful. I'd happily go back anytime, but it's too cramped and doesn't exactly invite you to linger. Everyone should make their own decision, though.

After three visits, we come to the following conclusion: The food is expensive, the results are adequate, but true Münsterlanders aren't necessarily full even after a plate of appetizers and a main course... The staff is attentive and adept at their craft. The restaurant is very noisy, the tables are tightly packed, often making it almost impossible to move through, and the air is usually very stuffy. In summer, the windows overlooking Lake Aasee are open, which improves ventilation. If you like shouting at your guests, this is the place for you, but there's nothing discreet about it.

The sheer number of people here shows how many people enjoy eating here, and many of them were known to the owner, who worked hard to ensure guests were seated quickly. The service was excellent, even though it was packed, and the food was delicious!

Sitting right on the Aasee, Italian food is served. We love coming here to eat and enjoy the warm welcome and service as much as the outstanding food. Even when the place is full (almost always), the service is super fast. We love it!

Well, if you sit outside on the terrace it's quite nice, but inside it feels more like a cafeteria. Lots of seats, not much space, and expensive food. I had pizza, which was so-so. If you like raw dough, soggy pizza, and a loud atmosphere, this is the place for you.

Thursday afternoon, busy but not full, lake view, immediate service, friendly, daily special, 2 x spaghetti with salmon and vegetables, + 2 drinks, 2 people €31.50, very tasty, friendly, good value for money, I would go back immediately, recommended!

Very pleasant seating, everything open and airy. We loved the pizza (Margherita with truffle), but the pasta (probably not homemade) was dry and soggy. The wines were okay, but rather mass-marketed. The service was friendly, but not very attentive. Overall, the value for money was reasonable, but not a culinary delight.

We went to Moro on a Friday evening for a company party. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was very friendly and attentive, but unfortunately it was so crowded and loud that we had to shout at each other to have a conversation. It was very tiring in the long run. So my tip: come during the week or pre-order food and pick it up.

A super trendy location, a beautiful view of Lake Aasee, a light and airy atmosphere, extremely friendly staff and service, and the food smelled delicious. We felt like we were on vacation in the South. The food was excellent, the plates were well presented, and the service was fast even though it was very busy. Simply a place for a cozy meal with a relaxed vacation feeling.

Plus: The food is good and comes quickly. The location is great. Minus: The service can be improved. The toilets leave a lot to be desired. A small changing table is only available in the women's toilets.

The ambience is great just because of the location. The salad was great, the pizza a bit dry. It was a bit noisy due to the many guests, a bit busy… All in all recommended! Prices are like everywhere else.

I was visiting and decided to go out and eat something on the shore of the lake. I tried the carbonara, I liked it, the portion was large and tasty, there was a lot of ham. A colleague took the bolognese and was also pleased. I recommend it!

Moro 112 is an absolutely authentic Italian restaurant in Münster – a real highlight every time! The food is consistently delicious, and the daily recommendations in particular are always a real hit. You can just tell that the cooking here is done with quality and passion. The restaurant is rightly very popular - you should definitely make a reservation on the weekend. Great atmosphere, great service – we always like to come back!

Our meal at Moro was extremely delicious again today. Pieces of lamb fillet with rosemary potatoes, cherry tomatoes in a delicious olive oil sauce and mixed salad with fruits and walnuts. All ingredients were freshly prepared, very tasty and well balanced. I definitely recommend this dish. Although it was quite full today with the sunshine, we were served quickly and friendly and didn't have to wait long for food and drinks. We look forward to our next visit to Moro.

I ate here for the first time last week. Although I have worked for years at R+V and now at LVM, both of which are very close, I have not yet visited the restaurant. Now the last week was very sunny. I wanted to enjoy the sun with a friend, we went for a ride around Lake Aasee and then we found a place for two. The pizza was on the table in no time. Tastes very good. When it became more crowded later, the noise was already enormous. The waiting guests were given champagne to make the waiting time more pleasant. We sat outside, right on the platform next to the queue and the other guests, as well as the interior. Since it was really, really busy, the service wasn't that quick. Nonetheless, a clear recommendation. Very good wine, delicious pizza.

Rather nice place but when paying the waitress told us that tipping is obligatory and after having given 35€ for a consumption of 27€ the waitress only gave us back 3.50€ out of 8€. PITIOUS!!!

We were there yesterday, March 22nd, 2025 (reserved a table on Saturdays at 6 p.m.). Even though the shop was completely full, we didn't wait longer than 5 minutes for our food... I was amazed. The service deserves 10 stars, and the food: it was by far the best pizza I've ever eaten! The noodles were also super tasty… I will definitely come back several times!

Moro 112 stands out for its fantastic location directly on Lake Aasee. The food is delicious, with excellent fresh Italian cuisine. It gets very busy on weekend evenings and therefore quite loud, but that's only a minor drawback. In the summer, the large terrace is a lovely place to sit. The service is always attentive, friendly, and prompt.
