Mongibello in Würzburg

Two weeks ago we had dinner at the restaurant with a large group on a Saturday evening. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The welcome and service was unfriendly and rude. The food was a disaster. Our youngest received their food last. A small ham pizza was brought as salami, but the little one really wanted to eat so we accepted it. We had ordered a large salad without onions and with oil and vinegar dressing and received one with onions and yoghurt dressing. After a complaint, a new one was brought which unfortunately had yoghurt dressing again. I also ordered the Pizza Belli and asked if it could be made without garlic. I was assured that it would be possible. When it came I asked if it was without garlic and the waiter said "yes" and I was also blatantly lied to. I then swapped the pizza with my husband, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to eat it. In addition, all pizzas had a very hard base that was impossible to cut even with the streak knife provided. It was a feat of strength and practically inedible. There was also far too little tomato sauce on it, which was also bland. Overall, most of our group were so dissatisfied that we would never come back and cannot recommend it to anyone. Apart from us there was only a small table occupied on Saturday evening, very unusual but understandable. The pasta dishes seem to be better, but there's no reason for us to come back. It's a shame, because the parking spaces in front of the door and the ambience would be an advantage if the rest were right.

Hello dear guests, We ate here and I was actually surprised! With delicious food and good service! Unfortunately, staff were absent due to illness, so there was an extended waiting time! But everything is still within limits! I can recommend this restaurant. Will come again too! It was very tasty 🤤 thank you very much for that 🙏🏼 keep it up!

Were there for the first time (Schlemmerblock) friendly welcome! The drinks took a little long, but not bad. The food was legga and hot! Price - performance is right. The boss then apologized with a small dessert because we had to wait a bit. Two conditions were canceled today! As a tip, I gave him the feedback to mention this right at the beginning, then the guests will know straight away! Otherwise recommended!

Very tasty food. Individual requests were well addressed. Pleasant atmosphere & friendly staff. Please be patient as only one person is/was responsible for service and drinks. But otherwise everything was great, I'd love to come back!

There is really delicious pizza here, and dessert is also highly recommended. The boss and the employees are super friendly and the atmosphere is great too. Price performance is very good. We always enjoy coming back.

We were at Mongibello for the first time today. It took a while for drinks and food to arrive, but the boss was all alone in the service. He is super personable and his food was also very tasty. We had pizza and bruschetta beforehand and were extremely satisfied. When we go out to eat, we are not in a hurry and you should really understand that the service staff is so difficult to find and therefore you have to wait longer. For us it is important that it tastes good and that people treat each other in a friendly manner. We'll definitely be back👍

Not recommendable. After an hour and two drinks we asked for our food (pizza and salad), the waiter said, sorry, he forgot our order. The restaurant wasn't exactly crowded with around 12 people, so you shouldn't forget to order

Hier wird man vom Chef persönlich bedient. Authentische italienische Küche. Zugig vorbereitet und gute Portionen. Preise sind sehr ok.

Wir haben Pizza gegessen und ich habe wirklich seit langem nicht so eine tolle und leckere Pizza gegessen. Es hat alles gepasst der Teig und der Belag.ich werde auf alle Fälle öfters hier vorbeischauen.

Es ist zwar nicht in der Stadtmitte, aber die Fahrt zum Heuchelhof / Tennisplatz rauf, lohnt sich immer. Essen ist sehr gut , das einzige was sein kann, das man auf das Essen etwas warten muss. Aber der Geschmack , die Frische der verarbeiteten Produkte hebt es wieder auf!!

Ob mit Freunden in kleiner Runde oder Geburtstagsfest,einfach SPITZE.

Wir fanden es sehr positiv, wie auf die Bedürfnisse und Wünsche der Gäste eingegangen wird. Haben selten so einen zuvorkommenden und freundlichen Service erlebt. Das Essen war superlecker!!!

Ich muss leider sagen so enttäuscht bin ich schon lange nicht mehr aus einem Restaurant gegangen. Pizza mit geschmackloser Tomatensoße und ungewöhnlichen harten Boden. Der Salat war sehr langweilig mit altbacken PizzaBrot. Die Pommes zum (Fertig?)Schnitzel waren nicht fertig frittiert. Und und und... Mit italienischer Küche hat es nicht viel gemeinsam und meine Begleiter waren gleichermaßen unbegeistert. Einen Stern für den Service. Die Dame war zwar leicht überfordert mit unserer großen Gruppe, war aber freundlich und ging auf Extrawünsche ein und den zweiten gibt's für den guten Aperol. Wir kommen wohl nicht wieder.

Essen sehr lecker Schöner innen, als auch Aussenbereich (schöner Blick auf dem Tennisplatz) Bedienung sehr freundlich und immer auf zack Genug Parkplätze Alles echt Klasse :)

Waren gestern mit 6 Personen zu Gast in Würzburg im Monibello. Das Restaurant ist im Tennis und Squash Club Heuchelhof im Esten Stock, die Einrichtung ist freundlich und hell, es läuft italienische Musik und ist sauber. Wir hatten verschiedene Vorspeisen, Pizzen und Pasta Gerichte. Der Service ist freundlich und es hat allen gut gemundet. Kommen wir zu dem Teil, weshalb ich keine 5 Sterne vergeben kann. Im Restaurant war nicht viel los aber sie haben Lieferservice was die Wartezeit ziemlich in die Länge zieht. Haben ca 45 Minuten auf die Vorspeisen gewartet und die Hauptgerichte kamen zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten, wobei der Erste schon fast fertig war und der Letzte dann seine Pizza bekam. Leider macht dies auch die Entschuldigung des Chefs mit einem gratis Kräuterlikör nicht viel besser. Wir werden dem Restaurant eine zweite Chance auf 5 Sterne geben und hoffen, dass dies nur eine Ausnahme war.

Sehr leckeres Essen und zuvorkommende Bedienung!

Nicht mein Geschmack, Pizza mit zu viel wässriger Soße, kaum gewürzt. Außer der Salami so gut wie kein Geschmack. Teig war im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Pizzerien auch ziemlich fade. Die Lasagne meiner Frau hatte mit Lasagne, wie ich sie kenne (mit Bechamelsoße, viel Käse, richtig brutzelnd aus dem Ofen) nicht viel zu tun und war ebenso fast geschmacklos. Keine Deko auf den Tischen, was zwar nicht so wichtig ist, aber das Ambiente passte dadurch halt auch zum restlichen Eindruck.

Anlässlich der Taufe unseres Sohnes hatten wir ein Buffet. Das Essen war wundervoll angerichtet, alles frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich einfach köstlich. Sehr vielfältige Auswahl am Essen, tolles Ambiente, einfach alles Top. Der beste Italiener Würzburgs. Macht weiter so!!!

Anlässlich eines Geburtstages durften wir hier zu Gast sein. Wir wurden ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend bewirtet. Das italienische Buffet war wunderbar hergerichtet und alles ganz frisch. Ganz klare Empfehlung.

Essen ist soweit in Ordnung. Keine Offenbarung, eher durchschnittliche Qualität, aber nicht verkehrt für den kleinen Hunger. Dafür sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, herzliche Atmosphäre und man fühlt sich willkommen.

Mein Mann hatte ein Pasta-Gericht, ich eine Pizza und einen Salat. Wir waren begeistert. Große Portionen, alles frisch und geschmacklich wie in Italien - top! Der Service war aufmerksam und äußerst freundlich. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und werden auf alle Fälle bald wieder kommen.

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker!!! Alles frisch und original und liebevoll vorbereitet!! Supernettes Personal! Man fühlt sich wie in Italien! Der Kellner u. Kellnerin sind sehr professionell, schnell, und sehr sehr sympathisch! Man bekommt auch z.B. eine Spaghetti carbonara nach italienischen Rezept, frisches Fisch, und originale Ideen...von Tageskarte bis zum Limoncello Spritz!

Richtig leckeres Essen! Kann ich nur empfehlen

Wir waren Samstag Abend nach dem Sport als große Gruppe dort. Wären 14 Personen und es wurde extra für uns offen gelassen. (Als Gastronom nehme ich das leicht verdiente Geld in diesem Fall denke ich gerne mit, dennoch ein Pluspunkt) Die Bedienung war sehr nett und authentisch, jedoch unfassbar langsam. 45 Minuten auf die Getränke für 14 Leute zu warten, ist grenzwertig. Da wir noch eine weite Heimfahrt hatten, waren wir alle davon genervt. Die Pizzen und das Bruschetta waren dafür geschmacklich super gut und preislich auch in Ordnung, mit relativ frischen Produkten.
