Pasta e Olio in Würzburg

We ate here for the first time on Saturday. We were served at 3:30 p.m. We had to wait longer for the lasagne Bolognese, which ended up being a normal lasagna. The food was very tasty - the selection of starters was not very large and the prices are not immediately visible. The bar stools are very high and unfortunately there is only one toilet for everyone.

Unfortunately inside smells something is burned.

Pasta with zucchini cream consists of cream sauce, nothing zucchini lasagna was cold and was forgotten to serve, the toilet was not lockable and the kitchen was extremely dirty...unfortunately not so nice...

Delicious pizza, soft-cooked pasta, chaos at the checkout.

Very good food for just going into town during your lunch break

Had dinner here for the first time yesterday with my girlfriend. Food was very tasty and the prices were more than fair. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I only paid 37 euros for both of us We had an appetizer plate together She had a pizza I have a lasagna And 2 beers each We'll definitely be back :) Important information about tipping: This can only be given in cash because you cannot add it when paying by card. So unfortunately I wasn't able to leave a tip that day. But there will be more next time :)

Pasta, Pizza grandios, das Personal mehr als freundlich, umsichtig, fix. Perfekt! Espresso gibt's auch, sehr reichliche Portionen Pasta. Empfehlenswert!

Good food, nice and polite service

The spaghetti arrabiata, which I was offered or recommended as a special highlight from the weekly menu, was, to be honest, a serious imposition. I was hungry. And the feeling of sitting at fast food. The noodles were soft, the sauce had no taste, bright orange, no visible tomatoes, no herbs, no chili. The finely grated Parmesan didn't taste good. Cheap Napoli, tomato sauce with a little cream. Basically a disgrace! As “compensation” I got a small panna cotta. This one was decent. But I couldn't calm myself down... the indignation remains. Never again!

I ordered on “TooGoodToGo”. It's good that the restaurant takes part and sells leftover food at a cheaper price in the evening But offering his customers a pick-up time between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. and you stand in front of the restaurant at 9:02 p.m. and the gate says “closed due to bad weather” today. And then at 9:10 p.m. it says it's a local in the app and there's nothing left Customer service zero stars Thanks for the half hour drive for free Once and not again

Homemade pasta with different sauces at fair prices. Pizza is great too. Can only be recommended, especially at lunchtime.

This is a great, family run business. The waitress was extremely helpful and recommended the monthly pasta, which was one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. She spoke beautiful English as well! I’d highly recommend going here.

I have to say it straight. A very good place to eat good pasta and pizza in the center of Wurzburg. The staff is very helpful and nice. There are two options to choose from, pasta and pizza. Prepared on site, fresh and delicious. Prices are not high, I can easily recommend it for everyday visits (not only for busy people). Thank you and best regards.

I visited Würzburg again after a long time. Since I was hungry, I visited this nearby restaurant and it was simply amazing. The prices were cheap, the food was delicious, and the employees were very friendly. If I come back to Würzburg, I will definitely come here again.

The lunch menu and also the homemade spelled pizza are recommended. The price-performance ratio is particularly good when it comes to the menu. I think it's really nice to choose between a lot of different toppings (e.g. dried tomatoes, pumpkin, various vegetables, etc.) for the pizza.

Very tasty food, especially eating without any frills that you don't need. So no amplifiers or chemical bombs in the food. Employees are extremely friendly and accommodating. Food was made quickly and was quickly eaten. But it also invites you to sit down and relax with friends. I'd love to come back.

Frozen food, weird experience. Staff ignored us for the first 10 minutes, until we said something. One of the waitresses talked to her friend instead of taking our order. The place has a weird vibe to it. We waited 30 min for our food, even though their entrance poster says the food is done in 5 minutes MAX. When the food came i was met by a store-bought frozen (reheated) lasagna, that was completely tasteless, soggy, bland. I don't know how other people can give it positive reviews. It was advertised as a bolognaise, in there was a maximum of 2g of minced meat. My girlfriend ordered a carbonara that was also overcooked and had the lowest quality of pork meat in it. The pasta at least tasted of something, but it was far from an original carbonara (as far as i could tell, they even used 2 types of pasta: linguine and spaghetti). The only thing i remotely liked about the restaurant was the occasionally good italian song from their playlist. Should've gone for a döner instead.

Actually there isn't much to complain about... 3 small comments perhaps: 1. There is definitely no salt in the pasta water that is boiling in the Bain Marie. 2. If you're going to put salt shakers on the table, then not from Lidl...that could be more stylish 3. chipped dishes are a no-go and dangerous (see photo)

Sicuramente il posto peggiore dove abbiamo mangiato. Il servizio pessimo, nessuna professionalità,la cameriera sciatta e mal vestita, si presenta al tavolo con bocca e mani sporche di sugo e briciole, dal momento che non ha fatto altro che mangiare. Ordino un prosecco, tra le altre cose presente in carta, e mi guarda sbigottita chiedendomi cosa fosse. Arriva al tavolo con un vino bianco fermo di bassa qualità che rimando indietro. Mi riportano un bicchiere peggiore del primo, penso fosse lo stesso con aggiunta di acqua gasata. Al momento del conto, chiamiamo per ben tre volte la stessa cameriera, che presa dal suo costante mangiare, ha pensato bene di ignorarci. Ci alziamo per pagare al banco e l‘omino delle pizze, richiama l’attenzione della famelica cameriera, che arriva al tavolo scocciata e ruminando pizza dice: 18 euro. Alla richiesta di uno scontrino risponde che non è possibile averlo. Posto da evitare come la peste

Very nice store, systematized processes for ordering and paying. The fitness pizza with thin spelled dough and Harz cheese is extremely recommended for fitness fans.

This small and inconspicuous Italian restaurant can be found in Würzburg's pedestrian zone, a few minutes from the train station and cathedral. The food is freshly prepared and ready within minutes. You can put together your own pizzas using around 20 different ingredients. There are cheap combination offers for students. Very friendly service!

Great pizza, served in a rustic way, we first sat down on the wooden furniture outside, but I ruined my jersey pants in the process, so be careful with fine fabrics and there is only 1 toilet for everyone - I checked that first...so I'll use one Star off...the service was super nice☺

I had a lasagne delivered and as an Italian I have to say it was one of the worst lasagne I have eaten. The pasta dough was good but that's it because that's the only thing you can taste. A little sauce was drizzled over the first layer and then there were 7!!! Layers of dry pasta topped with a touch of parmesan and sauce smeared over it...a shame

VERY OUTRAGEOUS!! OVERWARD!! ARROGANT!! + PIZZA WAS TASTELLESS!! Today was the first time in a long time at Pasta e Olio and I ordered a pizza to take away... Told me it would take about 5 minutes, well after a good 20 minutes later I asked for my pizza~ the answer was "which pizza"... was forgotten (happened). I said GREAT / then came the answer: Be happy that we accepted your pizza after opening time! What's that supposed to mean???? A sorry would have been enough! Was it my fault now for a burnt pizza? Because I get another pizza at 9:04 p.m.????? Very unfriendly staff! I got a new pizza made that was placed on the counter without any words... NEVER AGAIN!!! Dough was too crispy and the cheese is of poor quality, little to no flavor

Very friendly staff with a great, open and courteous attitude towards customers! Food is freshly prepared and special requests are taken into account☺️ Hardly any waiting times and the food was all very tasty and highly recommended (including the pizza, which I usually eat). I had the asparagus lasagne today and have nothing but praise for the kitchen! It tasted very good and will definitely come back😊

There was no pizza quarto formachi… at an Italian restaurant..:???Really??? Shame on you!!! I can put hand cheese on it for you, the stupid peeeeep said…. This is not what I ordered and want…. and cash payment wasn’t possible either… why the hell 👿 ….??? only via card! Really people now??? Totally disorganized!!!! And you shouldn't hire students without a plan and then it will work!!!!!

Italian meets individual! It's great that classic Italian dishes are available here, but individually. This means: First of all, all the pasta is homemade and then always dishes of the week, such as pasta with Aperol sauce. Was great. And with the pizza. Either gluten-free or whole grain spelled for the dough as an option. Anyone who has to pay attention to a certain diet will find exactly the right thing here. The staff was also very friendly. Unfortunately there isn't too much space. We were lucky to get one of the few tables outside.

The seating options outside were very creative. The pizza there is highly recommended because you can put it together entirely yourself. What I found very amusing was that they marked the addition of pineapple with a sad smiley face. If I'm in Würzburg again I'll eat here again. Greetings from the north!

Have on Sunday April 14th. Had a margarita pizza. Like from the freezer: not enough tomato sauce, cheese. Dough like frozen, hardly crispy or fresh in taste. The pizza verdure went: 2.5/5 stars. The waitresses are very friendly, although extremely rushed. The ambience in front of the store: Euro pallet furniture, no greenery. It's a shame about the store.

First the order is delivered immediately.. now suddenly it takes 59 minutes.. probably because of the surprise.... Update to follow.. Soo the surprise pasta is here.. When asked what's in it.. Should it be ricotta with porcini mushrooms (answer from supplier) So if someone has an allergy or intolerance.. it's better not to order it... by the way, it's against the rule of not specifying ingredients against the law.. Lieferando should also know this, as they simply allow such offers. The pizza 🍕 is ok and also properly topped. So beware of surprises. could be really dangerous. ❗️❗️❗️

Hello, we were there today, portions are extremely different, the ones in front of us came out with mountains, we with flat heaps, had ordered the same thing! Salad like it came out of a bag, totally dry! I was hoping for more. The taste wasn't great either!

Absolute top address for traditional handmade pizza. A dream pizza will be conjured up before your eyes at an absolutely top price. There is also a delicious lunch here.

The staff was friendly. But the room was a bit cold and the toilet door was broken. Pizza dough was totally delicious, but additional ingredients (broccoli and mushrooms) weren't fried that well. They didn't have pineapple either, but we got an apple spritzer instead :)

Here you can easily spend a lunch break or have dinner later. The food is very good and you get it quickly. The selection is plentiful, from pasta to pizza. Price - performance fits. There is also the option to eat outside. The service today (3/19/24) was excellent. The bottle of Prosecco was lightning-chilled and extra ice cubes were provided. Thumbs up and full stars

We sat inside and were served very nicely. I had a daily special of baked rolled pasta which was very tasty. You should also definitely try the homemade limoncello. Very familiar atmosphere, also a family business and we had a very nice chat with the waitresses afterwards, highly recommended!
