La Rustica Ristorante & Pizzeria in Würzburg

Quaint. Simply nice and delicious.

I was at La Rustica with friends last week and we were all absolutely thrilled! The food: Authentic Italian cuisine at its finest! The pizza was crispy, the pasta was perfectly al dente and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The daily specials, which always surprise with new creations, are particularly recommended. The service: The staff was super friendly and attentive. We immediately felt welcome. The ambience: Cozy and inviting! The restaurant is lovingly decorated and you feel like you are in a small Italian village. Perfect for a romantic dinner for two or a convivial evening with friends. Conclusion: La Rustica is an absolute insider tip in Würzburg! Everything is just right here: food, service and ambience. We'll definitely be back!

The pizza or pinsa was very good! The piccante is also really hot! We didn't really like the atmosphere, it was very crowded and we sat in the middle. However, we didn't make a reservation, which excused the table. The service wasn't outstanding but OK.

While the food is nothing new. The service is friendly and fast. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very cozy. All in all a great place for a first date.

Disappointing girls night We were looking forward to a nice girls' evening, but unfortunately our visit to the restaurant was anything but pleasant. The pizza and calzone were very tasty, but the pasta was far too dry. In addition, the prices for the food are significantly too high. The biggest problem, however, was the atmosphere. It was extremely loud, so the only way to have a conversation was shouting. The tables are far too close together and my chair was constantly being bumped into by the neighboring table. In addition, the music was way too loud and the air in the room was stuffy - really unpleasant. We didn't feel like having dessert anymore because the evening overall was so disappointing. It's a shame, we expected much more.

The food was WAY too expensive Noodles at steak prices

The pizzas are really tasty, the pasta dishes are OK. Anyone who has intolerances should be careful. For example, we had celery, even though it wasn't on the menu. Unfortunately, the starter plate is not recommended. Unfortunately a disappointment both in terms of price and taste. If you like artificial stones, you might also like the ambience.

Very tasty pasta dishes. If you're looking for something special, try pear gorgonzola. But the other dishes were also very aromatic, not just the standard version. Not exactly cheap, but absolutely worth the price. Clear recommendation from me.

Unfortunately we didn't get to eat because we were sent away beforehand. The review therefore only refers to the experiences surrounding it. We wanted to go to the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon (restaurant about 10 percent full) with our newborn twins and the twin stroller after consulting the waiter, who said it wouldn't be a problem. Once inside, we said the car could be folded up, we just needed space for the two baby seats (preferably places on a corner bench) and two places for ourselves. We were then told that this was currently not possible because the places had to be kept free for potential customers. One cannot guarantee that the places our two children occupy with the bowls are not needed. The argument that we are also paying customers and not only occupy the seats but also plan to order something did not work. Things can change so quickly, unfortunately it is not possible to provide one of the 10 empty tables for us. We then decided to eat somewhere else. What a shame!

We were here many times two years ago. Even during the Corona period we were buyers of really good pizzas. However, in my opinion, the price-performance ratio is just off. A pizza for almost 20 euros is simply too much. It's also a shame that the air was extremely stale. The greasy wooden plates for the pizzas are original but, in my opinion, a bit unhygienic.

Discovered it by chance on my weekend trip - I'm very impressed! Uncomfortable, nice, courteous staff and the best pizza I've eaten in years. Bravo!

Food didn't blow us away. What so so... I don't find this place clean. The seats are so dirty, I think it's a shame for such a nice restaurant that they don't care about cleanliness and renovations. The walls were also very, very dirty. Wouldn't go to this restaurant again.

Good Italian restaurant, although prices are high.

Absolute disaster. After we sat down, we waited forever for anyone to even take drinks. It took a similar amount of time to order food. Afterwards we waited almost 40 minutes to get a burnt pizza. Which then tasted great. La rustica's reputation is better than the store itself. If the price was corresponding, it would be acceptable, but charging between 16 and 20 euros for a pizza and then being served something like that is simply not possible.

Delicious food, we had pizza and the pistachio tiramisu for dessert. Attentive service. We felt comfortable.

It was definitely one of the worst experiences I've ever had, if not the worst. The waitresses didn't know anything about the food. We waited over an hour for our food and all guests who arrived after us got their orders first. And after waiting a long time for the food, when it finally arrived it wasn't what we ordered and we had to wait another 30 minutes and the waiter just took the plate and said nothing, not even an apology. And the food was terrible, I think they tried to get the food to the table so quickly that the second time it came out raw and without seasoning. It was a complete waste of time and money, I definitely don't recommend it.

We cannot recommend this restaurant. Twice fillet steaks for the hefty price of 34 euros each, each with tendons. After we complained, we got the same meat back cut open without any tendons. Absolutely poor quality. When asked when paying, the service employee said, maybe you'll have better luck next time! There won't be a next time for us!

We wanted to come the day before and everything was booked. So we made reservations for the next day and could understand why the restaurant was so popular. As a starter we ate the Mista salad with bread on the side. Ingredients very fresh and pleasant portion to share for 2 people. For the main course we had 2 pizzas, prosciutto and quattro formaggi. The pizzas are not only eye-catchers because of their shape, but also highly recommended in terms of taste. Thin bottom, but not too floppy. Edge is nice and juicy. The quattro formaggi was not overloaded with cheese but perfectly balanced. Didn't finish the pizzas and took the rest with us. Despite the somewhat high price, highly recommended, it's worth the money 😊

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant today. After our arrival we were offered a place in the sun as all the other tables (at least six) were supposedly reserved. We showed understanding and took the offered seat. After about five minutes a table in the shade became available and since we hadn't ordered anything yet, we asked a waiter if we could have that table. He said he would sort it out. He then came out three times and served other guests without even giving us any feedback or asking us if we would like to order anything. After we spoke to another employee, we were also informed that all tables had already been reserved. Sorry, but we are paying customers and expect to be given at least the courtesy of a response. If our money isn't valued at this restaurant, we'd rather go somewhere else where they'll at least ask us what we want to order. Very disappointing!

I ordered two types of pasta, the first was very very salty, and the second had a parmesan sauce with water, an unpleasant experience.

Once and never again. If you don't make a reservation, you'll be seated against a wall, even though 80 percent of the other tables were free and weren't filled while we were there.

La Rustica, a rustic Italian restaurant with good Italian cuisine, lives up to its name. The menu is balanced. The food didn't have a wow effect but was still good. We have been there several times and can recommend it. The service was very friendly and there was even a panettone per person. The prices are a bit more expensive compared to other restaurants and the service. The toilets in the basement were nicely decorated. We ate ourselves: Appetizer: broschetta pomodoro, Pizza: Pizza Parma, Pizza Speciale Pasta: Spagetti Napoli, Tagiatelle Mare e Monte, Lasagnete Scampo, Lasagnete Gorgonzola e Noci Dessert: Tiramisu.

One of the best Italians in Würzburg. The food and service deserve five stars. Highly recommended!

Dinner was very good. Bees gave us a lot of trouble. Too hot to eat inside, outside seating was ok.

Super tasty food, but very expensive. We weren't that happy with the service either. You have to draw attention to yourself several times before you get noticed.

Service totally unfriendly. Tagiatelle mare Monte tasted like nothing. The sauce from Rigatonie Bologna tasted like it came from a jar.

Great pizza, we stopped in for lunch and sat outside, it was a Monday afternoon.

I would like to give zero, but that's not possible. We arrived around midday when there was really nothing going on. We were received in a totally rude manner. The waiter came, brought the cards and left. 30! Minutes later we left because no one came. Never again! The prices are high but service is a priority.

I always enjoyed going to La Rustica, the food was always very tasty - including this time. However, the service has totally deteriorated (we've been here twice and the service wasn't good) and the pizzas are becoming more and more expensive - almost a bit outrageous. Prices on the menu on Friday evening no longer matched those on the internet. I would be willing to pay these prices if the service was justified, but we always had to ask if we could order something else to drink. Very disappointed and will now seek out and prefer other Italians.

Pizza a bit weak in taste, no demand for chili oil. The waiter tried to be friendly... Price performance too expensive... We've been there a few times, but the quality is declining... it's a shame...

We went here with friends and were very disappointed. The food was alright but the prices were extortionate. 17 euros for a carbonara that came 2 minutes after ordering and 20 minutes before the rest of the food. 18 euros for an averaged size pizza, also tasty but needs to at that price. . Inhospitable and uninterested waiting staff and so much screaming coming from the kitchen that I was wondering if Gordon Ramsay would walk round the corner. Will not be returning.

Went there again after a long time and it was a disappointment! We got a table outside on the street side, which was fine at first. Unfortunately there is hardly any service and the service is not very friendly. Pasta arrived 5 minutes after ordering, pizza arrived 15 minutes later, and if you wanted to eat together the pasta would be cold. We sat at the window, which was right next to the kitchen, and you could constantly hear the disgusting tone of people shouting at each other, and it was really constant. Since there was no music playing, that's all you could hear there. Food was ok, but not great!

Nicely located pizzeria in an alley with very tasty pizzas and pasta dishes.

The restaurant is in a nice location if you want to sit outside when the weather is nice. However, the service was mediocre, not particularly fast or attentive. Most of the food was okay, but the salad came without any dressing, which is simply not acceptable for the price charged. There are many good restaurants in Würzburg, so this one needs to improve significantly to remain competitive. It might be okay for a one-time visit, but there are definitely better options in the city.

Today to celebrate Mother's Day I went with a group of friends of nine people to have lunch at this restaurant. I ordered a Pizza capricciosa without artichokes and a small Radler beer for my son I got a margherita pizza for children and for dessert a pistachio cheesecake and tiramisu, well what can I say the pizza was excellent as were the desserts I dare say they make pizza better than Wuerzburg

We've now been so annoyed by some of the male service staff twice that we won't be coming back despite the delicious food! At these prices we expect good and friendly service. There is a lot of catching up to do here.

There were two of us and we wanted to end a beautiful day in Würzburg with a good meal in this restaurant. After we found a place outside nothing happened. Tables next to us were served and ignored. After 30 minutes, my companion got up and informed a waitress that we hadn't received a menu or drinks yet. The cards were then rudely slammed onto the table without greeting us or asking if we would like to order drinks. We stayed positive and chose food and drinks...they were all in the higher price segment. Then we waited again.....after an hour we left.....we just weren't served. We found our evening happiness in a beautiful beer garden on the Main with warm and cheerful staff, delicious food and cheaper prices.

Simply an experience! Great food! Great service! Had a cool bro evening!! Gladly again!

Not recommended. The food arrived after more than an hour (we were the second table) and was partly cold, as well as the wrong dish and missing sauces. Condition hardly present. I have a lot of understanding, especially as a waiter myself, but I've never experienced anything like that. We weren't even asked what the food was like or told why everyone around us was getting food, except our table?? It can happen sometimes, but then you let us know what happened and don't leave the guests sitting around unaware. Unfortunately very disappointed.

Nice Italian restaurant in a side street in downtown Würzburg, near the Main. Starter plate with focaccia is highly recommended! Unfortunately, the rest fell sharply. The very friendly service is difficult! Everything took a very long time, the wine was forgotten, as was the sugar for the espresso, and unfortunately the coffee was cold by the time it was brought. Unfortunately, the noodles weren't really hot either and the taste was well below what we expected after the delicious starter plate. Short and sweet: You can certainly discuss taste, but not service. Everyone is super friendly, but the implementation doesn't work. A pity!

We ate two pizzas here at short notice. Both were well topped and tasted very good. The prices are ok and the service was very friendly. Since the restaurant is a bit out of the way, they obviously put more effort into it than the restaurants that are located directly on the Main or in the pedestrian zone.

This is a great place! I was here with my colleagues and had a great time. The food is very tasty and the portions are big, the cocktails were also delicious, so I recommend!

I had a salad with chicken for just under €20, which, apart from the green salad, only contained three halves of cherry tomatoes, four slices of cucumber and grated carrots. For the price I would have expected more. The service is fast, but not particularly friendly or accommodating. My companion had pizza and was very satisfied.

Very good pizza and friendly service. Lots of young guests. The music in the back room was a little too loud, but I didn't say anything. Next time I would reserve another seat or kindly ask for the music to be quieter. Prices are high, but it's worth it.

The pizza bread at the beginning of the meal tastes like stange. It tastes better if you ask for a lot of garlic butter when ordering. The portion size is quite good and the vegetables are plentiful. I'm good at pasta

Never again! After an hour we were forced to pay because the next guests were already waiting. Our glasses were still half full. Very unpleasant service!!! We had reserved the table in advance.

Only bad! Cheap pasta! Frozen vegetables! Cheap tomato sauce! It has nothing to do with Italian cuisine, especially if someone thinks of it!!!!

We were three girls and wanted to have a cozy evening, so we ordered drinks, ordered pizza and then we waited for over half an hour. The tables next to us and opposite gradually filled up, they also got their food, but we didn't... the waitress said it was coming soon and it was already in the oven, but after a quarter of an hour there was still nothing. It can happen that you forget something (it's all human) but this manner and the behavior of the service was very disrespectful... Conclusion: never again and not a recommendation either

On site for dining. I invited people for my birthday and made reservations for 5 people in the evening after work. We were all happy. Because... it used to be delicious and the service was very nice. In summary, the food was a real disaster! And the service understood "train station" or didn't want to understand it. Doesn't matter. We're never going there again. I can't understand how you can get so bad in such a short time. And... we've been there many times before and there wasn't anything that could have been improved. It was good to go out for a quick meal after work and relax at home. That is certainly no longer possible. We left all our food - but of course we paid. Because we know what's right - but La Rustica doesn't anymore.

Food and ambience good, drink service could be a little more attentive. But we'll be back ;-)

Super tasty pizza and very cool staff. The price is a little higher here, but the quality is almost unbeatable. The only drawback for me is that the edge is sometimes too thick for my taste. But it turns out differently from time to time. Individual wishes are fulfilled. The staff is super friendly, but there is an exception here. The young lady is very rude and not helpful at all in return for the rest. Since she hasn't been on the phone for a long time, I can currently only give 5 stars for this great team!

Das Essen war in Ordnung, hat mich aber geschmacklich nicht aus den Socken gehauen. Das Personal war freundlich und das Ambiente ist schön. Kleiner Tipp: Das Chiliöl ist hier wirklich scharf. Nicht allzu viel nehmen ;-)

Wie immer super lecker. Kommen gerne für lecker Pizza und Pasta. Ergänzung zu der ersten Rezension. Diesmal mit einer großen Gruppe von 27 Personen zum Essen, war der Service dennoch super aufmerksam, auch mit den Kindern, sowie super geduldig und zügig. Das Restaurant war komplett voll und wir hatten nie den Eindruck, dass hier jemand überfordert sei oder ähnliches. Klar, nicht alles kam zeitgleich, aber, der Service war so clever und hat erst die Kinder und dann die Erwachsenen mit Essen bedient. Getränke kamen auch immer zügig. Das Essen war wie immer grandios. Wir sind wie immer rundum zufrieden gewesen! Einfach eine Top Empfehlung in Würzburg.

Wir waren gestern Abend zum zweiten Mal hier. Unfassbar guter Service! Trotz ungewöhnlicher Extrawünschen sehr zuvorkommend! Hier ist zu merken daß der Besitzer Gastgeber ist und man sich als Gast fühlen darf. Preis-Leistung stimmig ! Ganz klare Empfehlung von Wiederholungstätern

Unfreundlicher Service, sehr zeitlich getaktet, man wird aufgeschäucht, obwohl man noch ein ganzes Glas voll hatte, sehr laut - wie aufn Bahnhof. Wir, 7 Personen, kommen nicht wieder her.

Essen ist sehr gut und die Angestellten waren stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant ist ein bisschen hellhörig, aber für die Lautstärke der anderen Gäste kann das Restaurant nichts.

Sehr gutes Essen und sehr netter Service. Leider ein Stern Abzug wegen unseres Sitzplatzes, der direkt vor dem Pizzabäcker an der Theke war. Es war sehr laut und man fühlte sich dadurch gestört. Bei einem Besuch ist wohl die linke Seite des Restaurants zu empfehlen.

Nice pizza. Update : their pizza is longer than circular. The pizza quality is super nice would have loved a bit better dough. The cocktails and drinks are reasonably competitive. The service and staff is super nice and kind. Very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very cozy and beautiful in winter seasons. Reservations are highly recommended

Essen hervorragend. Pizza nicht rund. Wird hier länglich ausgeführt. Schmeckt aber trotzdem top. Service sehr uninteressiert...ich hätte noch einiges getrunken. Aber wer nicht will...Trinkgeld gibt Auskunft über die Zufriedenheit der Gäste! Haben es aber auch scheinbar nicht nötig. Preise heftig für ne Pizza...

Gute italienische Küche, Besitzer ist Portugiese und Koch afrikanischer Herkunft, super Koch! Und der Pizzabäcker Italiener hervorragend die Pizzen.

Es ist okey , aber für die Preise erwarte ich mehr.
