Today, we went to the Mömax Restaurant for breakfast as a group of five adults and four young children (1-2 years old). Since it has a play area, we assumed it was a child-friendly restaurant. Unfortunately, we felt very uncomfortable: Several guests – mostly seniors – constantly complained about the children, even though they were just playing. They shook their heads, provoked us, and even told us the children should be quieter. The atmosphere was very demeaning and ostracizing. We had the strong feeling that this wasn't just about the children, but was also motivated by xenophobia. We would have appreciated more support from the staff. In a restaurant with a play area, it should be natural for children to be loud sometimes. Unfortunately, no one from the staff said anything about it or clarified that children are welcome. We've always enjoyed coming here, but after this experience, we feel discriminated against and excluded. It's a shame, because Mömax is supposed to be a place for families.

Everything was dirty and unhygienic. The glasses were very dirty, you couldn't drink from them. After complaining, you get dirty glasses again. The spaghetti was like water (boiled over). It used to be a really good restaurant, but unfortunately, I can't recommend it anymore!

Absolutely terrible service! And everyone who was here today will say exactly the same. You have to wait 40 minutes for an apple juice spritzer?? Just like for the food…? Almost an hour…? The service is random instead of table by table, it's unfriendly and just plain disorganized. That was the last time we were here.

"I ate at the restaurant with a companion, and we each ordered a steak. The steaks were served shortly afterward, but were completely raw on the inside. We returned them to give the chef a chance to correct this. On the second attempt, the steaks came back burnt on the outside but still pink on the inside. After another complaint, we still had to pay the full price. In my opinion, this is absolutely unacceptable. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant, and especially the chef, under any circumstances."

We were there on April 1st at 4:10 PM and wanted to order Spaghetti Pomodoro, but the employee said they only had Schmitz left because the kitchen was closing. Even though the menu explicitly states that hot food is available until one hour after closing time, they close at 6 PM!!!

Today, as we have often done before, we were at the Mömax Restaurant in Schwäbisch Gmünd with a large group for dinner. We were very, very satisfied with the waiter, Mr. Makhloufi. The service was super quick and he was friendly and helpful. You can tell he's experienced. I hope he stays at the Mömax Restaurant too. You're more likely to find waiters like this in upscale restaurants. Please keep it up. We'll be happy to come back. Regards, K.W.

We were there to redeem a birthday voucher. Even though they had to take inventory, they still prepared our food, and the service was incredibly polite! Thank you!

Incompetent waiters who made reservations first and served last, and after I complained, they even served me arrogantly. Furthermore, the food wasn't good. I've never written a negative review before, but this one deserves my utter contempt.

Unfriendly waiter. It's as if he's always in a bad mood! The food and drinks were simply thrown on the table and very arrogant.

The restaurant is empty, there is no service, a customer goes to the counter and shouts hello three times until someone finally comes. It's a shame. I couldn't order anything because there was no service.

Sad thing about that Resto has become! Just close it forever. We have been guests for years who enjoyed coming for breakfast or lunch before Corona time. After Corona we didn't eat out as often. Today, after a long time, we wanted to come back for lunch. It was said that the resto was closed due to a burst pipe. Stupid excuse!!!!! We think you simply don't have any staff. What we also noticed is the constant change of waitresses in the resto. We definitely won't be coming to eat anymore

We didn't even get to eat or drink because we weren't served. There was hardly anything going on in the store...service 0 points

I'm super happy with the service. I am impressed by how Ms. Pappenheim and Ms. Kupitz master the work at hand. Keep it up :-) The menu offers a wide range, the food tastes delicious and corresponds to the price-performance ratio.

M I had to pay 5 euros for the menu today, March 30th. I paid 10 euros for the menu. When I paid I had to pay full price even though there was a discount

I was served by a young lady named Pappenheim. Unlikable. I spoke to her twice and was ignored, even though she was standing next to me. She then turned around and talked to other customers. Evil looks when you order something and serve it.

Best service ever in the restaurant. Two great, dedicated girls (restaurant management) and Ms. Kupitz very friendly and accommodating. This guarantees a feel-good effect in the restaurant. They love coming and leaving happily. It's great that there is also a permanent cook. Please keep it that way!!! Best Greetings K&J Werner

Please change your breakfast again. That was really good before. You had two delicious rolls, i.e. 4 halves to top with... Now there are only 2 small slices of ciabatta and what do I do with the rest of the sausage/cheese or jam... do I take it home? So I have to reorder 2 slices of ciabatta for €1.50. For a breakfast that costs almost twice as much as before. Yes, there was some salmon, but that doesn't justify the price. Another breakfast includes 1 small slice of ciabatta. Enough for what???? We and our friends often had breakfast with you, but unfortunately not anymore.

Of the 4 selected dishes, 3 were not there. No one was there and we had to wait forever for food.

The new Italian menu is bad. Where is currywurst? We are very disappointed. However, the waitresses are very nice

Die Wartezeiten in besagter Einrichtung sind nicht Auszuhalten, es ist unglaublich wie man es schafft für ein Getränk ,welches aus der Flasche stammt 20min zum "servieren" braucht und es dabei nicht mal schafft es aus der Flasche in ein Glas zu befördern. Zudem mussten wir 30min warten bis wir überhaupt eine Bestellung aufgeben konnten un das Essen brauchte dann 40 min was an sich ok ist es hat auch gut geschmeckt war aber halt katastrophaler Service die Frau gehört gefeuert

Wir kommen schon seit Jahren zum Schnitzelessen Dienstags zu Mömax. Immer gut, wenn auch die Preise regelmäßig steigen. Von €3,90 auf €5,90 mit Getränk, auf nun €6,90 ohne Getränk? O.k. ist ja überall so. Jedoch für eine extra Sosse €2,90 verlangen, und dann das Gefäß nur zu einem Drittel gefüllt, das geht einfach gar nicht! Der Klecks hatte nicht mal nen Euro wert...

Sehr nette Bedienung🌺, geben sich immer sehr viel Mühe. Hab einen Wiener Backhähnchen Salat gegessen, der Kartoffelsalat ist ungenießbar.

Große Portionen und schmackhaft

Sehr unfreundlichens und inkompetentes Personal. Sind in letzter Zeit mehrmals dort gewesen. Beim Frühstück mussten wir eine Stunde warten bis wir bestellen konnten. Es war alles lieblos und ohne Dekoration auf den Teller gelegt worden. Beim bezahlen mussten wir auch nochmals über eine halbe Stunde warten. Das Personal ist komplett überfordert. Heute waren wir um 14.30Uhr im Restaurant. Es wurde uns gesagt, das es nur noch Getränke gibt. Keine warmen Speisen und auch keinen Kuchen. Der Kaffee wurde lieblos auf den Tisch geknallt. Als wir sagten, daß wir bezahlen möchten verschwand das Personal in der Küche. Wieder halbe Stunde warten. Leider musste ich einen Stern geben. Er ist definitiv zu viel.

Man kann nicht nur sehr gut essen Das Service ist super Ich esse sehr gerne hier. Wenn ich in der Gegend bin versuche ich im Mömax zu essen Ich komme gerne wieder.

Ich wurde vorerst schnell bedient, dann wurde meine Getränkebestellung, wegen günstigeren Preisen falls ich ein Menü bestelle, nicht aufgenommen. Ich sollte bitte gleich auch das Essen aussuchen, meinte die Bedienung, sie kommt dann gleich wieder. Danach wurde ich dann gar nicht mehr bedient. Nach 25 Minuten habe ich das Restaurant wieder verlassen. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich und höflich aber sie sind auch überlastet.

Solides Essen für Zwischendurch.

Immer wieder gerne dort zum Essen. In der Corona Zeit leider nicht, da es keine Auswahl mehr gibt, sondern nur noch 1-2 Gerichte

Wir waren heute 11.06 Uhr da. Es hieß Frühstück ist vorbei. Ist in Ordnung. Mittagessen in 10 bis 15 Minuten. Auch ok. Aber das man nicht mal was zu trinken bekommt weil es heißt , man müsse erst aufräumen, geht gar nicht. Das ältere Paar neben uns hat nicht mal eine Tasse Kaffee bekommen. Der Kellner war freundlich aber wenn eine Bedienung in einem Restaurant sagt , man bekommt 15 Minuten lang gar nichts ...... sprachlos. Dann sollten sie von 11 bis 11.15 schließen wenn sie es nicht auf die Reihe bekommen zu bedienen und aufzuräumen.

Top. Preise sind absolut angemessen, Speisen frisch und ausreichend und das Personal freundlich und auf Zack

Man wartet lange auf Bedienung! Mehr als 20 Minuten bis ich mal das Getränk gekriegt habe. Preis ist angemessen.

Gute Speisen, frisch zubereitet, Pommes, Schnitzel und Spinatspätzle im Möbelhaussegment weit oben

Preiswertes Essen, mittlere Qualität, freundliches Personal, könnte manchmal etwas aufmerksamer und schneller sein.
