The food was delicious and the service was brilliant; I haven't experienced anything so friendly and pleasant in a long time.

I've been/am coming here regularly for drinks and/or meals. The cocktails are, of course, unbeatable in terms of price and visually appealing. The selection here is truly extensive. Because of the high prices, some of the cocktails taste quite similar and mainly consist of simple, very sweet fruit juice concentrate. The food is top-quality and fresh. I've never had a stomachache or an intolerance. Unfortunately, the portion sizes are outrageous!!! No matter who I've been with, they were very hungry beforehand and "just hungry" afterwards. Simply unbearable for the price (for example, the Mauri Box). The "mass" of the portion is created by well-tossed leaf salad of not-so-good quality (Primalat or similar?), and they skimp on the meat and all the other "more expensive" side dishes. So, the value for money here is really not right, while with the cocktails, you get what you expect for the price – and that's fine.

Mauritius is a fantastic spot with delicious food and a wide variety of cocktails that are both creative and well-made. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, and the staff is mostly very friendly and attentive. If you’re into good food and love trying new cocktails, this place is definitely worth visiting!

Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I always loved the salad dressing, so why did they change that? 😞 I used to like the pizza better, too. The thicker base and lack of sauce made it a bit stuffy. The cocktails, on the other hand, are as thin as ever—two big sips and you're left with nothing but flavored ice cubes 😉 What's outstanding, though, is the staff. Super friendly service. Lovely ambiance. We'll be back anyway. We'll try the bowl again and maybe we can upgrade the stars again.

I was there at lunchtime. I ordered tuna salad and a coke. After waiting for half an hour, I called the server and asked if I could at least get a drink because it was very hot and I was thirsty. It came relatively quickly and after 45 minutes I still hadn't gotten any food so I went upstairs to pay for my coke. I asked why it was taking so long to prepare a tuna salad. The server said they had unexpectedly had a 30-person party come in. I said no problem, but you have to explain that to the guests, then they can decide for themselves whether they want to wait or go somewhere else. At least people have a lunch break. I asked if he could go without food from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. because I can't. He said he could. At least the drink was on the house. But I will never set foot in that place again. I would prefer not to have a star, but unfortunately you can't post without one!!!

Great drinks and a super tasty steak! The steak cooked on the hot stone was incredibly delicious and tender. You can cook it exactly how you like it. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was lovely! Definitely recommend it.

I've been coming here for years, and until now, there's only one thing missing: a good steak. Now, the wait is finally over, because a hot stone steak was added to the menu a while ago. I ate a 300-gram rump steak. This comes with a choice of fries or a side salad. The meat is of excellent quality; well-aged and tender. I've rarely had such a delicious steak in a restaurant; I absolutely recommend it!

The cheese spaetzle is highly recommended. Delicious food. A bit too expensive for the typically frugal Swabian. Very friendly staff.

I find it fascinating when a restaurant adds a new dish to its menu and it tops everything. The meat quality is excellent, the presentation 👌, and of course, the taste is top-notch. I'll be happy to come back. I highly recommend the steak, whether rump or skirt steak.

After a reservation for seven people, one person was still missing when we arrived. We were told that if that one person didn't show up within 10 minutes, we'd have to leave. Delivery is only available via Lieferando. Salads then cost €7 (!!!) more. All other food and drinks are also 30% more expensive. What a rip-off! No thanks, never again!

Food & Drinks The menu offers a great selection of dishes, with something for meat lovers as well as vegetarians and vegans. It was just perfect! The ingredients were fresh, the preparation was on point and the presentation was very appealing. The portions are generous, so you leave the restaurant full and satisfied. The drinks menu also impressed me: from exotic cocktails to fresh smoothies to classic soft drinks – everyone will find something to their taste here. My personal highlight was the wild berry spritz, which was not only a visual eye-catcher, but also completely convincing in terms of taste. service A big compliment to the entire team! Despite the busy restaurant, the service was fast, friendly and attentive. Our orders were taken and served quickly, and special requests were taken into account without any problems. We ate quite late, but I still expected more from the food itself. The pinsa was no longer hot, but lukewarm. The Try Aged Cheese Burger had no taste, but was rather watery and rather bad for the price (around €19) but the fries were good. The pasta was with a neutral canned tomato sauce, rather weak. Cheese spaetzle looked good, but the chicken steak was, well, see pictures It was good in itself, but you could have gotten more out of it. Cuba Libre had hardly any alcohol in the glass

One of the restaurants in Schwäbisch Gmünd that you must try. I visited it last month with my colleagues and the international students at PH Schwäbisch Gmünd. We not only dined together but also had the chance to get to know each other better and chat.

Lunch is cheaper. Delicious mushroom sauce. There is delicious French toast here.

You can completely forget about food here, everything is filled with frozen foods and convenience products. Unfortunately you can't even make a salad here, lettuce leaves are swimming in ready-made dressing. Dan can simply go to the nearest supermarket and buy the frozen stuff himself.

Food was very good. Had the Caribbean Chicken and a cheese cake with chocolate for dessert. It was absolutely awesome. There was also a latte macchiato and a variety of cocktails to drink throughout the evening, all of which were great. Service was nice and quick and the atmosphere was pleasantly modern and clean.

Chickenburger was very bad. Meat was full of fat.

Great staff and great team, you notice that immediately as a guest. The mood is right. The music is sometimes very loud, but that's probably part of the concept. But families with children are welcome and not a nuisance. The food is really good and the cocktails too. We really enjoy being there!

We rented the 2nd floor for a family dinner. Everything was as planned, the service was top, the food was very tasty, I can only recommend the homemade lemonades. I give the most stars for the positive, very friendly service. I would like to thank you again for the wonderful and uncomplicated day. If you are looking for a place just for you with family, friends etc, for a celebration. Then I can wholeheartedly recommend Mauritius to you!👏🏻👍🏻

We sat outside, the ambience was quite nice, the bees were even more annoying and the wobbly tables weren't so pleasant but otherwise the food was good as usual - Mauri just eats :) and the service was quite nice :)

We gave the store a second chance, as you asked @MathildeJenke a few months ago. Went there again as a group, the service was already overwhelmed with apple spritzer. The burgers were bland and the vegan patties were probably regurgitated or stolen from the gas station. Nevertheless, improvements in the drinks, despite the excess of straws, therefore 3 stars instead of 2 Keep it up! The peppermint leaves didn't have to suffer this time.

We eat there very often. Today too, even in the group when I wanted to go to the toilet later, the lady wanted €2 from me... a total NO GO... just because it's a festival in the city and you're in need of treating people like that. Especially if you were a customer there 2 hours before.. Best regards

We celebrated our son's baptism here and everything was just perfect. Beautiful location, nice staff, delicious food and great service. During the planning, the managing director responded to our every wish. Everything was well organized. There was a special table with painting supplies prepared for kids, which I think was great. I can only recommend it and we would be happy to come back ourselves.

I've been going here for many years. After a year's break, today we enjoyed our favorite salt meal again😍 Luckily, both the salad - the divine Mauri bread and the service are still flawless, very friendly service and the others in the service team are all friendly and super nice. We are already looking forward to the next visit, which hopefully won't take as long 😅 The furnishings, cards, napkins, glasses, everything changed a bit - I really like it! It was just great again!

We were warmly welcomed and sat down at a rickety outdoor table. The service was nice and tried to build a friendly, relaxed relationship with us. The menu is manageable, filled with pasta dishes, salads, bowls and pinsa. Everything is relatively expensive in terms of price. I ordered the cheese spaetzle with salad for around €15, which tasted good. I also ordered an apple spritzer, which unfortunately only tasted like sparkling water.

It is beautifully decorated and the food was very tasty, especially the Campl salad with pizza bread which was excellent. The only thing that wasn't so nice was that a meal for 6 didn't come until 10 minutes later and the waiter didn't show up for a while (there were only 9 people in the restaurant). It can happen sometimes, but I will still come again.

Aperol Spritz was diluted water… A mockery for the price.

Condition this evening was very casual, penetrating, intrusive. Cocktails were warm and made incorrectly. Unfortunately I have to write although we always enjoyed being there and were always satisfied. The last time, as always, was great. Which unfortunately wasn't the case this evening.

We were there for breakfast this morning, the selection was small but nice. Inside everything is really nicely decorated and cozy, outside you just sit like at any cafe on the market square. The food was delicious and the price was right, we would be happy to come back.

Unfortunately not convinced by the uncomfortable seating you literally lie on the chair to eat… Service was quite raised and arrogant, unfortunately the place has slimmed down quite a bit in recent years when it comes to service, ambience and food. Interesting concept. Very simple online reservation system. The menu ranges from Italian, home-style and Caribbean. We had pasta and a Caribbean chicken dish. Both tasted very good. The prices are okay for that. Eating out has generally become expensive. The ambience is very appealing, in the direction of a beach restaurant. The service was very friendly and quick. All in all recommended.

We were here as a group, 3 of us had drinks that had 90% ice, were extremely expensive and were empty after 3 sips, but they tasted good. NO CHOICES ON THE MAP. Pinsa too dry, bah. The decoration, especially the bottles, are really nice. The menu doesn't know the difference between meat, vegetarian and vegan, and the service even less. Parrots are scary. One of us even has to eat peppermint leaves. The salad dressing probably comes from the Rewe salad bar with a little Rems water mixed in. The meat was raw and the animals were not happy when they were dead. The service was only semi-polite. Once and never again!

Lunch in the summer directly on the market square, just great. A delicious dinner followed by a cocktail evening is nowhere better possible than there. The salads are particularly delicious, especially the veggi salad.

Mauritius is no longer what it once was. Stale chicken with dark dry edges was served to me in the salad (seemingly freshly prepared)!!! Diluted fake Fanta! And finally for drinks, 2 pinsa and 2 salads an impressive 86 euros! That was definitely our last visit there.

The staff is super nice & we got a seat for 8 people and were served very quickly and promptly - value for money for the food could be better and a bit cold and rather loud. Overall it's okay and especially OK if you're looking for something for a larger group.

What else can be said about Mauritius that hasn't already been said?! If you want to enjoy the summer flair in winter, you're in good hands here. We were only here for a beer, but the food on the neighboring table was quite appealing, the service was nice and attentive, the drinks arrived quickly, I can't say much more.

Mauritius - was once a decent place with generous portions and attractively presented food where you could eat your fill. Today there is not so much fresh food, there is little of it and it is cold. The waiter is too pushy and constantly interrupts. It's important to have a sense of when to approach and when to allow the guest to eat in peace. The waiter should know his place, follow basic rules of etiquette and keep in mind that he is at work and not at the circus. Overall - not recommended. A place for less demanding guests.

Bedienung war nett und aufmerksam. Jedoch die Preise bei der Bowl ist utopisch!!! Ich habe bei der MauriBowl noch Hähnchen dazu bestellt für 3,90€! gekommen ist ein Knorpeliges 10x10cm kleines Stück Hähnchen. Als ich die Bedienung darauf ansprach ob das wirklich das Stück Fleisch für 3,90€ ist sagte sie ja sie schämt sich teilweise auch solch ein Essen zu servieren für solch einen Preis. Auf meine Beschwerde wurde nicht eingegangen und ich musste den vollen Preis bezahlen. Trinken und essen war gut. Aber bei solchen Preisen komme ich nicht wieder!!

Wir sind vor circa einem Jahr in die Nähe gezogen und waren mittlerweile einige Male hier. Ich habe die Mitarbeiter vor Ort schon öfter gelobt und heute ist es Zeit mein Lob mal offiziell zu schreiben 🙌🏼 Ich kenne kein Restaurant, in dem der Service durchweg, ohne Ausnahme, wirklich auch jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter, so authentisch freundlich ist, wie hier. Jedes Mal, geh ich noch glücklicher raus und das nur weil es noch solche herzlichen Kräfte gibt. Das Essen und die Getränke sind Top. Location ist gemütlich und modern. Wer hier was zu meckern hat, den würd ich gern mal sehen. Es gibt hier absolut nichts, was ansatzweise schlecht oder blöd sein könnte. Ich werde weiterhin kommen und Freu mich auf jedes einzelne Mal & auf alle Servicekräfte 🫠 danke das ihr so einen tollen Job macht 👏🏼

Essen bei allen Mauritius Restaurants sehr gut. Nur der Eingang in Schw. Gmünd ist auf den ersten suchenden Blick echt nicht gut sehen.

Bestellte Waffeln waren steinhart und aber cocktails gehen klar

Eine tolle Bar/Restaurant um einen gemütlichen Tag oder Abend mal zu verbringen. Man kann dort sehr gut Essen oder auch mal ein leckeren Cocktail trinken. Das Essen ist sehr lecker (auch wenn das Fleisch beim Salat etwas trocken war, war aber noch okay.) Das Dressing vom Salat ist sehr lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Preislich ist alles auch noch völlig im Rahmen. Hier kann man öfters vorbeikommen.
