Schöner Biergarten mitten in der Stadt. Tolle Aussicht. Essen war geschmacklich super, aber was leider gar nicht geht, wenn im Schweizer Wurstsalat der Käse in 3 cm breite Streifen geschnitten ist und es mehr Käse als Wurst gibt

Man sitzt sehr schön- die Bestellung online ist eine Katastrophe. Es steht man müsse die Beilage extra bestellen und dann kam alles doppelt. Außerdem ist nicht klar, dass man erst das Essen bekommt wenn man bestellt hat. Zum Glück ist das Personal toll und das Essen ok.

Wir waren dort mit 4 Erwachsenen und zwei kleinen Kindern. Hatten einen Salat bestellt welcher, wirklich groß war und geschmacklich okay. Dann einmal einen Burger und ein Schnitzel bestellt, das Fleisch hat sehr säuerlich geschmeckt und wir mussten das Essen zurückgeben. Die Bedienung war bemüht uns dann ein Ersatzessen zu bestellen, wir haben uns dann für 2 mal Currywurst entschieden, die eine konnte man wieder nicht essen, da die Wurst einen säuerlichen Geruch hatte und auch so geschmeckt hat. Dem Personal war das relativ egal, da man den Eindruck hatte, sie haben eh genug Laufkundschaft. Positiv ist die Lage von dem Biergarten mit tollen Blick über Gmünd!

Leckeres Lammbräubier und solide Biergartenküche. Wir hatten das Schnitzel und den Leberkäse. Es war für einen Biergarten ok. Der Ort hat eine super Aussicht und ein Spielplatz mit Rutsche für die Kinder.

Der Biergarten war voll besetzt. Obwohl an diesem Abend zwei große Gruppen bedient wurden, sind wir als kleiner Tisch immer rechtzeitig und sehr freundlich bedient worden. Wir mussten nie lange auf unsere Bestellung warten. Das gesamte Servicepersonal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Danke an das gesamte Team. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Der Biergarten ist sehr schön. Viele schattige Plätze, gute Getränke und eine tolle Aussicht machen den Biergarten zu einem besonderen Ort.

Die Preise sind zwar bodenständig, allerdings ist der Betrieb offensichtlich auf die große Anzahl an Gästen nicht ausgelegt. Es ist überfüllt. Die Bedienungen waren völlig überlastet und kamen mit dem Service nicht hinterher. Auch die Online-Bestellung funktionierte nicht. Das Essen konnte ebenfalls nicht überzeugen. Die Spätzle wirkten wie Convenience-Produkte und die Beilagen-Portion war zudem recht klein. Schade, denn die Lage und Aussicht hätten deutlich mehr Potenzial.

Top Location . Wahrscheinlich einer der besten Plätze in der Stadt . Top Aussicht , länger Sonne als irrgendwo anders . Speisen und Getränke völlig in Ordnung . Sehr schönes Gelände und Spielplatz für die Kids... Von mir 5*....

Die Location und die Fleischqualität waren wirklich gut. Ein wenig mehr Gewürze wären nicht schlecht gewesen. Service sehr freundlich, allerdings braucht man ab und an ein wenig Geduld bis jemand kommt. Alles in allem eine gelungene Gaststätte mit tollem Biergarten und schöner Aussicht. Nur im Wintergarten konnte man angeblich die Klimaanlage nicht zurückdrehen, was nach ner Weile wirklich unangenehm war.

The food was okay overall, but unfortunately it lacked seasoning, and the cheese spaetzle were bland and lacked flavor. The soup tasted too much like water (they must have completely forgotten the spices), but the cheese dumpling was delicious.

I was extremely disappointed. The noodles (I wouldn't call them Spätzle) were completely tasteless. I immediately pointed this out. I was given salt, so at least the food had some flavor. This is definitely not what I consider a good meal. A good chef shouldn't serve food like that.

There was a bit of chaos, however, probably because there was a very large group there at the same time. Despite this, the staff remained friendly and tried to keep everything under control. The atmosphere was lively and typical of a good brewery – cozy, loud, but welcoming. Overall, a successful evening with good food, delicious beer, and friendly service. I'd love to come back!

We recently went there for dinner. First, the positives: The staff are really friendly and attentive. The location, inside and out, is perfect. That's about it for the positives. The food, however, was absolutely terrible. That was the first and last time I was there. What a shame, actually. The potato salad was definitely not homemade. We got one portion in a bowl. It was very cold and floating in a yellow "liquid" – probably scooped out of a bucket? My schnitzel (there were two on the plate) was so bad. Do you use a liquid coating? That's what it tasted like, anyway. And the fries were more soggy. Was the plate kept warm? Guys, you guys aren't going to last up there. How can you mess up something as simple as schnitzel with fries and potato salad? Go eat somewhere where it's done right – actually, almost everywhere. What a shame.

Incredibly friendly staff; I haven't had such a cozy experience in a long time. You feel at home there. (When we were the last guests, instead of throwing away their leftover fresh bread, we were asked if we wanted to take it with us. Totally fantastic.)

The restaurant and beer garden thrive on their ambiance. The food isn't good value for money. Wait times for drinks are too long, and the beer garden doesn't offer waiter service; ordering is only possible online or at the bar. It's a shame that this ruins the customer experience.

Outrageously bad service, especially from the restaurant manager. Rude and aggressive, he refused to serve our group food. Go somewhere else.

Friday evenings, with nice weather, are, as expected, prime time in every beer garden. Nevertheless, it's unacceptable that a guest should sit in the sun and wait over an hour for their first drink. During that time, they would have checked the terms and conditions three times. We canceled the drink after the aforementioned wait; that's not how beer gardens operate.

Haben den Biergarten zwei mal besucht. Unsere Erfahrung beim ersten Mal: Servicepersonal nett, Wurstsalat Fertigware und als Garnitur ein toter Grashüpfer. Kann passieren, Entschuldigung in Form eines kostenlosen Getränks angemessen. Besuch 2: Kamen an einem tollen lauen Samstag Abend nach einer Veranstaltung um 21.30 Uhr, um noch ein Radler zu trinken. Das Servicepersonal ignorierte uns 15 min lang, um uns dann die Auskunft zu erteilen, wir könnten nun nichts mehr bestellen, da um 22.00 Uhr geschlossen wird. Der Biergarten war jedoch noch zur Hälfte gefüllt und viele Gäste saßen noch vor fast vollen Gläsern. Wir sind viel unterwegs, aber so etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt. Fazit: Von der Lage her der schönste Biergarten in Gmünd, Leistungen absolut mangelhaft!

⭐️ 1 star – Unfortunately disappointing We went out to eat as a group and were seriously disappointed. Of the three dishes we ordered, we had to return two immediately – that speaks volumes. We only ate the third meal because we were very hungry, but it still didn't taste good. The quality and preparation were absolutely subpar, and the value for money was completely out of the question. The Zeiselberg is fine for a beer or two with a good view, but we certainly won't be coming back for dinner. It's a shame – the location has potential, but unfortunately, there's nothing culinary here to be had.

A 50-minute wait for a sausage salad that, unfortunately, tasted of nothing. The dressing tasted like water, and there were no seasonings at all. The wedges were unfortunately undercooked and partly raw. The service was pleasant and friendly.

The food wasn't that great, somehow it tasted like it was off the shelf. The ambience and the view are really beautiful and the staff are really helpful and very friendly.

The restaurant offers an excellent experience. The beer is of excellent quality. The food is homely and tasty, with a selection of traditional Swabian dishes. Of particular note is the beautiful view of the city, which can be enjoyed from the beer garden. A visit is worthwhile at any time of year.

Evaluation: Unfortunately our visit was disappointing. The portion of arancini was far too small for 15 euros and not worth the money. The roast and the sauce for the spaetzle had hardly any taste. The service was also bad: we had to get cutlery ourselves, the waiter was inattentive, and no one cleared the table. If we wanted something we had to go to the counter every time. Overall not a pleasant experience.

Went here by chance and the restaurant looks spacey from the outside, modern inside with a great view. Most (pure or as a spritzer) is very tasty. As a Swabian, I ordered "Spätzle with sauce" to try and was excited. My expectations were far exceeded, the spaetzle were fresh and super tasty, so I ate them plain and spooned the sauce separately. Many thanks to the entire team for the great ambience, the friendly service and the team in the kitchen :-)

The Zeiselberg itself offers a great view over Schwäbisch Gmünd. The new restaurant is nicely decorated. That's where the plus points end again... Even making a reservation over the phone was difficult and you were referred to the website in a rude manner. Price/performance rather not justified. Paid just under €80 for two people. But the food was rather bad than good. Ok for a small hunger but for the price you can easily cook for yourself for a week or go somewhere better to eat!!!! 2 small spinach dumplings with a few greens just under €16. The roast roast at €24 was local. Small salad and soup were also not very convincing. Ok for a sausage salad in summer. There doesn't have to be anything more. Too bad…..

I can agree with the negative reviews 1 to 1! Some were months ago, so you can see nothing is happening and they are not isolated cases! The Zeiselberg would be a gold mine...emphasis would be!!! But if even the boss himself isn't interested, then so be it! The fish mostly stinks from the head. Rarely have I seen such unfriendly, unmotivated staff. Sat for half an hour, didn't get anything to drink, there were 4 waitresses there, very little going on. Then I took the liberty of asking if we could order something: then this young bitch who didn't jump in my face was all, the colleague would come...but she never came, then approached the colleague who was walking past, is not his area. Then other guests came and waited too, but were served before us. The boss was present and noticed this. It's a shame, it turned out beautifully on the Zeiselberg, but that's all. The only thing that helps is new staff and a different operator!!!! Because with the prices, I expect something different!!! And as a guest you can choose the restaurant. Here once and never again. This won't happen anymore!!!!

We spent a lovely lunch/afternoon here. The beer garden is great - but you only sit on beer benches. Tables and chairs are only available indoors. If there were a few tables and chairs available outside, this would be my 5th star. Food looks and tastes delicious. Priced upscale. Burger without fries 15.90 euros. Recommended!!

The beer garden is really fantastic with plenty of seats. Great ambience with a great view of Gmünd. There is a play and climbing tower for the kids, which is really great. The service and food were good, so you can spend a few hours here. Unfortunately, parking is a bit poor, it's difficult to find anything in the surrounding area, so you have to walk up or down for a few minutes or, best of all, come by bike. I'm already looking forward to next summer and stay.

Stopped here briefly as a walker to drink some tea. When the price was 4 euros per cup, we lost our desire for tea. The tea itself was a run of the mill teapot tea from the supermarket. The cups weren't even really full. Very unfortunate.

I can't say anything about the food. But there is little choice. But delicious beer 🍻 From up there you can see the town of Gmünd - very beautiful, especially at dusk. The service could be better. When I tried to order, 4 workers stood in front of the entrance and looked. through the area instead of just walking around and asking the guests.

Were there for the first time since the renovation. I felt like sausage salad again. This one tasted delicious. Unfortunately, the pickles weren't listed on the menu, which was a bit of a shame because I like to eat without them. In my opinion, the portion was a bit small for €12.80. Above all, my companion had a schnitzel with fries for just under €3 more, so in my opinion the ratio doesn't fit. Service was good and we were served in a reasonable time.

Gestern gingen wir, 4 Personen, voller positiver Erwartung auf den Zeiselberg, um einen schönen Abend zu verbringen. Dieser endete überaus trocken und extrem deprimierend. Wir kamen gegen 20 Uhr an und nahmen draußen Platz. Es war gut besucht. Eine Bedienung lief eine halbe Stunde an uns vorbei und ignorierte uns gekonnt. Erst als wir sie wiederholt zu uns riefen, kam sie und nahm unsere Getränkebestellung auf. Sie sagte aber, dass es eine Weile dauern würde, weil der am Ausschank überfordert sei. Um 20.50 Uhr hatten wir endlich unsere Getränke. Es hieß dann,dass man bis um 21.30 Uhr Bestellungen aufgeben kann, also wollten wir um 21.10 Uhr das nächste Getränk bestellen,weil wir wussten, dass es lange dauert. Leider nahm man unsere Bestellung nicht mehr an, weil der am Ausschank überfordert war. Ganz ehrlich: der Biergarten steht an einer von Gmünds schönsten Stellen. Der Ausblick ist phänomenal. Leider passt alles andere überhaupt nicht. Es kann nicht sein, dass man 40 Minuten auf Getränke warten muss. Es kann nicht sein, dass Bedienungen blind für Gäste sind und sie stehenlassen. Leute, die nach uns kamen, wurden vor uns bedient. Eigentlich wollten wir noch was essen, aber nach dem Desaster mit dem 1. und gewollten 2. Getränk hatten wir keine Lust mehr drauf. Wir hätten eh nicht mehr bekommen. So ein Service ist unterirdisch. Und die paar Bewertungen vor mir bestätigen unsere Erfahrung leider. Ich habe in der Gastro gelernt, weiß also wie es läuft und normalerweise sehe ich drüber hinweg, aber das war eine Vollkatastrophe. Gmünd hat andere gute Gastro, da wird man wenigstens ordentlich bedient. Sollte man sich als Betreiber vielleicht zu Herzen nehmen - wenn es einem nicht egal ist.

The kitchen closes at 8:31 p.m. We sat there earlier, the waitress took too long and didn't point this out to us. Closed due to prosperity. An impudence. The service is subpar, you can sit there all evening with an empty glass... no one comes. I will never go to this store again.

Great for families. With a playground where you can comfortably enjoy good food while children play alone next to it. Not expensive but tasty. Cappuccino with delicious thick milk foam.

Sunday lunch there. At the entrance there is an information board saying “self-service today”. Ask the counter whether you have to pick up the food here. "Which food? Go out, take the card and find the food Or are they too STUPID TO READ!" We left the beer garden without eating and will definitely not be coming back.

Beer garden in Schwäbisch Gmünd with a nice ambience and view over the city. Very nicely redesigned with delicious German dishes. The food tastes great and the conditions are accommodating. We really enjoy eating here. Parking is best down in the city, about a 5 minute walk.

Wollten am Sonntag zu Mittag essen Aussen stand auf Infotafel;: heute Selbstbedienung. Wir fragen an der Theke bei Mitarbeiterin VERENA nach, ob das Essen hier abholen muss. Sie; Welches Essen. Gehen sie raus, nehmen die Karte und bestellen. Oder sind sie zu BLÖD ZUM LESEN!!¡!! Wir beschweren uns über diesen Ton gegenüber Gästen und verlassen dieses Lokal ohne zu essen. Wir werden hier nicht wieder kommen und können dieses Lokal mit so einem Ton gegenüber Gästen nicht weiterempfehlen. Schade!! Das Lokal war um diese Uhrzeit schwach besetzt
