Until about a year ago, you could eat quite well here, and with coupons, inexpensively. Back then, the service was excellent and the food was simply excellent. My visit this week was a far cry from that level back then. The service was abysmal, the portions small, and not particularly tasty.

Unfortunately, both the quantity and quality of the restaurant are steadily declining! The highlight came today when we were served cold fries! For several months now, the pleasure of visiting a restaurant has been steadily declining! The service staff currently working there clearly don't understand their job. Some are very unfriendly; if you have a complaint, you're dismissed very rudely, with comments like, "I didn't make that mistake," or "it wasn't my fault!" That's not the point! It doesn't matter who makes a mistake; you just want it fixed or an apology. I don't want to suggest that this is intentional! If you've been getting the wrong food for weeks, sometimes having to wait more than 40 minutes for your order, and then, upon leaving, you see five employees in Mömax restaurant shirts standing around casually smoking while guests wait inside, and there's no other employee in sight, then something is seriously wrong! Unfortunately, this is now the rule rather than the exception. Until recently, we really enjoyed eating here; it was always a great break, but after today, we've finally decided not to come again. Unfortunately, the wrong things are brought out too often, the service is poor, no one feels responsible, and, sadly, in the summer when it's over 20 degrees and sunny, they don't serve outside, and the beautiful terrace is closed! That's a real shame. In the future, we'll probably switch our breakfast and lunch schedules, if we're nearby, to the Swedish counterpart... On a positive note, I'd like to mention that the employees at the furniture store are really friendly and do a great job! The restaurant team could learn a thing or two from that!

We have been visiting the Mömax restaurant in the Mömax furniture store in Koblenz regularly for many years and have always been very satisfied. After a meal, you could leisurely stroll through the furniture store and look at small items or something to take home. Over time, the service staff has changed often, sometimes even very frequently, but the food has always been consistently good: delicious dishes, reliable quality, and excellent value for money. That's why we've always enjoyed coming back. But the last two visits – last week and yesterday, both in the afternoon around 3 p.m. – were a huge disappointment. You immediately sense that something is wrong in the kitchen. • Last week: The portions were tiny – at most a third of what was served previously. The pasta barely covered the plate; it was more like a child's portion. Even for €5, that would have been unacceptable. • Yesterday: • The Caesar salad had practically no chicken fillet. Instead, there were just a few dry, overcooked pieces that you almost had to search for on the plate. • The fries, which used to be fresh, light, and delicious, were this time severely overcooked and tasted of old oil – simply inedible. • The schnitzel was a strange color, overcooked, and completely out of keeping with the quality we've known for many years. This isn't just a minor oversight; it's simply an intolerable situation. For the first time, we felt like our money and time were being wasted. On the positive side, the service staff remains friendly and attentive. However, the service team shouldn't turn a blind eye to the serious problems the kitchen faces. We urgently request that management conduct a quality control check immediately. Loyal guests like us are deeply disappointed. Your restaurant has stood for reliability and enjoyment for years – now chaos reigns. Please act quickly before we lose even more regulars.

My girlfriend and I had breakfast at Mömax. You won't find a breakfast this good or as affordable anywhere else. The service was attentive, and a young man named Alexsandro was particularly friendly, although he was only there temporarily.

If the food and prices weren't so appealing, I would definitely avoid this restaurant. The service staff are overwhelmed and unfriendly; in some places, you sit there waiting for 20-30 minutes without any activity (whether you're trying to place an order, waiting for drinks or food, or anything else). If you speak to the employees, you notice how overwhelmed they are and are even more yelled at. Such a shame. The staff after the opening (let's say in the first year) was completely different.

We then wanted to try the breakfast. We waited a long time before anyone even came to our table. We ordered the large breakfast twice, which was good. The fried eggs were brought promptly, but we waited another 12 minutes for the rest of the breakfast (rolls, coffee, etc.). Conclusion: Never again.

We just ate at Mömax with the whole family – my husband, our children, and I – and were truly pleasantly surprised. The service was exceptionally friendly and quick. One young employee, who was apparently new to the team, stood out in particular: very polite, courteous, and attentive. Our children immediately felt at home, not least because he even took a moment to laugh and play with them. As a little surprise, they even gave us free ice cream – a lovely gesture that you don't see very often these days. That's how you feel as a family. Thank you for this wonderful moment – that's what good service is all about!

I ate here at the restaurant on June 14, 2025. The staff was very friendly, and the ambiance and the food were very appealing. The only thing they couldn't improve on was the taste, as €14.90 for a portion of "Tagliatelle with Shrimp" makes you expect a bit more.

Since we often shop at Mömax, we wanted to take the opportunity to eat there. Visually the food looks really good, but unfortunately there isn't much to it in terms of taste. The service is very friendly and attentive - despite the large number of customers - I really take my hat off to that. The overall atmosphere is inviting and the tables are reasonably clean. If you don't have too many demands, you can definitely stop here if you're hungry quickly.

True today with a child. I wanted to order food for us but I was told by the staff that he was coming straight away because he had something else to do. So we waited. Several guests arrived after us and were served straight away. I then asked if I could order now and was told again that the young man had something else, more important, to do. After 30 minutes we just walked out without eating anything. There wasn't much going on, we were just ignored. Service horrible. The young man didn't know what he was doing and ran here and there senselessly. Wrong person to do this job.

So I don't know what people are complaining about here. This is a restaurant in a furniture store. not a posh restaurant in leude…. I think the price-performance ratio is amazing. the service is too busy when the store is full and needs support. However, our wait staff correctly remembered all special requests and orders without writing them down. hats off! The food was really tasty for the price. With smaller children you can even eat in peace because there is a little leeway. Given the price, 5 stars straight away! everything is consistent!

I ordered tagliatelle with shrimps at the restaurant. However, the dish did not contain any dried tomatoes, olives, rocket or breadsticks. I asked when the dish wasn't served as stated on the menu. The employee told me that the ingredients were probably missing in the kitchen. Then she just disappeared without giving me any further suggestions. I paid full price...

We were there for the first time. There were several options for breakfast. For small hungers and also for big appetites. Service was very accommodating, value for money was okay. Toilets should be cleaned more often, it was at 10 a.m. when I went there. In addition to the cuisine and the service, it should be a business card.

The breakfast was delicious, the children's corner was great. Hence 2 stars. The service was bad. 1 person emphasized casual, completely disinterested, zero service. How she got her job is questionable. The other is simply a laborer, either there for the first day or would perhaps be better off in another industry. Orange juice - which we had paid for in breakfast - was unfortunately no longer available (not a problem in itself) but could only be replaced with coffee - even after we expressed concerns that one of us doesn't drink coffee at all and we would rather have something else (water e.g.) - no, there is only coffee instead. Aha… strange, strange treatment of the guests. Unfortunately it's one of the few restaurants in Koblenz that offers a children's corner - could be really good with the right staff. The atmosphere was nice but unfortunately freezing cold - many people sat there with thick winter jackets. Sanitary facilities were spacious but… I think I have rarely seen such dirty, disgusting taps (see photo)… phew.

We went to this restaurant for the first time. There is a small play area for the children. The employees were friendly. The coffee and piece of cake were delicious. There is an extra changing room, which we found particularly good. It was furnished quite sparsely, but the essentials were there. The changing room was also heated, which we found very good.

We were there for breakfast this morning and didn't place a complicated order. 3x classic breakfast 1x large breakfast WITHOUT ham. The request for a substitute instead of the ham was not answered at all, but that wasn't too bad. After a long wait, the confused waitress came who brought 3x classic breakfasts and was generally unsure about which table the items had to go to when ordering. We waited in vain for the big breakfast. Only after pointing it out was it admitted that it had been forgotten. We wanted this to go. This breakfast includes 2 fried eggs. The takeaway package was given with bacon and incomplete (without butter and jam). When we pointed out that we wanted the package without ham, it was accepted and brought back a minute later. The ham was probably simply eaten because the package wasn't closed properly and everything was in the same order. Of course you don't ask for much for the price, but at least the service should be good and unfortunately it wasn't recommended at all. There was no apology and no accommodation. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this service!

I have to get in touch again After reading through the other reviews, my first observation was that negative reviews were mostly posted with a pseudonym. Positive reviews were usually posted with a full name. An honest review is always positive, even just one star if it is objectively justified, but then please use your full name We've eaten there several times and have always been satisfied. The service has always been reliable. I can't expect to be served as a 1 if I come in as a 10 person 5 stars for the toilet, local kitchen offered and especially for the nice and friendly service Bln again for breakfast at mömax, I'm thrilled as always November 23rd, 2024

You can forget breakfast! You can order coffee for every breakfast according to the price list (no extra charge). We paid for 2 cups of coffee (extra charge) without the coffee being taken into account in the menu. ???

We haven't placed an overly complex order now. A schnitzel + Cola and a cappuccino. Unfortunately we had to remind the service that we ordered a cappuccino. He arrived 15 minutes late. The nasty surprise came later. The cappuccino felt like it only consisted of foam and the cup size was really a joke for €4.20. It was almost espresso size. Very disappointing!

In the restaurant the service Michael is great. Attentive, friendly and clear. It doesn't actually get any better. In general, the service with Ms. Hahn, Ms. Golownja and Mr. Kilian is simply great, attentive and super friendly. Don't forget to mention the ladies in the kitchen, Ms. Weber and Ms. Krüger, as well as the restaurant manager, Mr. Zink. We have breakfast in the Mömax restaurant once a week and just want to say thank you for the great time and the good atmosphere with which we always leave the restaurant. Keep it up :)

We had breakfast this morning and it was a disaster. We waited 1 hour for our breakfast, a different breakfast was brought to us as ordered, we had to wait 1/4 hour for a second cup of coffee, there was only one waitress and the restaurant was full. That was a lesson for us, never again.

For a few days now, the "C rules" (which cannot be justified medically but are politically desired) have been largely repealed, including for visits to the catering industry in Koblenz, for example. b. We were here on Monday afternoon. There were two of us. The restaurant was completely empty, only two tables with customers. We sat down and waited for 15 minutes but no employee came to us, even though we waved several times. The employees walked around without even looking at the customers to see if anyone needed anything. Then we went straight to the checkout to let them know, but we still had to wait another 5 minutes until one came. The order was already out in 45. We waited, no drinks no food. After 45 minutes, an employee came to us and said that our order hadn't come to the kitchen yet because the device had a problem. That means we got the food after waiting for more than an hour. We didn't have to pay for the drinks afterwards, but we still give one star for the poor service here. Employees just look at their tens as they leave, without even checking to see that someone needs something. Also the topic of flirting at work instead of taking care of the customer.

Ich finde das Preis Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut und finde es sehr unverschämt sich in der heutigen Zeit über eine Preissteigerung zu beschweren .Wechselnde Angebote gibt es überall und gehört auch dazu. Leider habe ich auf die schnelle den Namen unserer Bedienung vergessen - hole ich nach - jedoch muss ich diese hervorheben!! Also zu aller erst wir hatten nur ein Mango Sorbet, welches wirklich geschmacklich erstklassig war! Und einen Cappuccino dazu. Leider war dieser lauwarm, jedoch kam unsere erste Bedienung nicht mehr in die Nähe, um dies direkt zu reklamieren. Wir hatten dann um die Rechnung gebeten und nach 10 Minuten noch nicht erhalten. Daraufhin haben wir eine zweite/andere Bedienung für die Rechnung angesprochen und ihr den Hinweis mit dem Cappuccino gegeben. Sie hatte direkt eine wunderbare zuvorkommende Lösung für uns! Namen liefere ich nach :) Über den lauwarmen Cappuccino, der eben ggf etwas gestanden hatte bis er zu Tisch kam, was passieren kann , sehen wir hinweg - wir waren super zufrieden und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir wollten schon lange hierher zum Frühstück kommen. Als sich die Gelegenheit ergab, da wir auch ins Möbelhaus gehen mussten, gingen wir auch ins Restaurant. Uns fiel sofort auf, dass sich die Frühstückskarte verändert hat, denn das, was wir vorher gesehen hatten und wo wir hinwollten, war weg. Wir haben 2 verschiedene Frühstücke bestellt, waren zufrieden, alles war lecker.

Nach mehreren Besuchen kann ich sagen: Sehr sehr positiv! Das Restaurant ist barrierefrei über zwei Zugänge aus dem Möbelgeschäft oder über die Terrasse zu erreichen. Entweder setzt man sich auf die gemütliche Terrasse oder wählt einen Platz im Innenbereich . Dieser bietet einen liebevoll eingerichteter Spielbereich mit einem Bällebad, einer Rutsche, einem Tisch, Stühlen, einer Wippe, einem Fernseher und Altivitispielbrettern an der Wand. Ich kenne kaum ein Restaurant außer McDonalds welches einen Spielbereich bietet! Der Innenraum ist liebevoll dekoriert und sinnvoll eingeteilt. Es gibt gepolsterte Bänke oder bequeme Stühle. Mehrere Hochstühle für Kinder stehen ebenfalls zur Verfügung. Wenn man an der großen Theke vorbei geht, gelangt man im hinteren Teil des Restaurants zu den Toiletten. Diese sind in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden und sehr sauber. Die Theke verfügt über eine ordentliche, saubere Ausstattung. Unter anderem fallen die angereihten Gläser und die Frozen Yogurt Maschine auf. Das komplette Restaurant wird kontinuierlich von dem Personal sauber gehalten. Sogar die Hochstühle und der Spielbereich! Man trifft immer auf sehr engagiertes Personal. Hr. Kilian und Fr. Golownja sind immer freundlich und arbeiten schnell. Eine Person mehr im Service wäre sicher gut um das vorhandene Personal zu unterstützen. Häufig findet man im Angebotsprospekt Coupons mit super Angeboten und kann somit sehr gutes Essen günstig bekommen. Es gibt immer eine Extrakarte mit besonderen Gerichten und die normale Karte. Mit sogar drei Kindergerichten! Die Produkte sind frisch zubereitet und wirklich lecker. Beispielsweise frischen Rucola, frische oder getrocknete Tomaten, Pizza, Nudeln, Salate und Fleisch. An dieser Stelle ein dickes Lob an die Köche: Frau Weber, Frau Krüger und Herr Zink. Bezahlen kann man übrigens bequem mit Karte oder Bar. Als wir das erste Mal dort waren besuchten wir eigentlich das Spielzeuggeschäft welches direkt daneben liegt. Seit dem ersten Mal bin ich begeistert von diesem Restaurant. Vor allem mit Kleinkind. Und diese Begeisterung hält an. Zuletzt waren wir heute dort zu Tisch. Ich wurde nicht bezahlt oder dergleichen für diese Bewertung. Ich bin lediglich der Meinung dass gute Arbeit ein Lob verdient. Die Namen habe ich auf Nachfrage von Herrn Kilian erhalten. Vielen Dank dafür. Ich hoffe das Lob erhalten alle hier genannten Personen. Ganz liebe Grüße Sandra und Family

Ich mag das mömax Restaurant. Der Service ist immer sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wenn das Lokal voll ist braucht man ein wenig Geduld. Wie in jedem Restaurant. Das Essen ist gut. Der Preis vollkommen in Ordnung. Immer wieder gern. 👍

Wir haben dort zu Mittag gegessen und ein überaus freundlicher und zuvorkommender Mitarbeiter hat uns mit leckerem und frisch zubereitetem Essen versorgt. Wir werden bestimmt nicht das letzte mal dort gegessen haben. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Waren heute Morgen das 3 mal frühstücken. Wie immer waren wir sehr begeistert. Der Service ist hervorragend und sehr aufmerksam, besonders Kilian, der uns wieder bedient hat. Auch die anderen Servicekräfte sind höflich und sehr aufmerksam. Das große Frühstück ist reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Knackig frische Brötchen, Rühr.-oder Spiegeleier und leckerer Belag. Wir kommen so oft es geht wieder. Vielen Dank. Bleibt so freundlich wie ihr seid. Super. 👍👌🤗

Das Restaurant im Mömax Koblenz ist sehr zu empfehlen! Sehr umfangreiches Menü - das Essen war frisch und sehr lecker! Besonders der Service ist hervorzuheben - die Kellner Herr Kilian und Herr Neidlinger waren absolut serviceorientiert und total nett und zuvorkommend - wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Ich kann "Claus Classen" absolut nicht beipflichten... War am 05.04.2022 (2 Tage nach der Abschaffung der Maskenpflicht) bei Mömax zum Mittagessen. Ohne Maske oder Sonstiges und es war kein Problem. Niemand hat gemeckert oder mich auf irgendetwas hingewiesen... Am 19.04.2022 war ich wieder vor Ort. Ohne Maske, ohne Impfnachweis, alles kein Problem, da gesetzlich so vorgesehen und umgesetzt... Vielleicht ist der gute Herr an einen Witzbold geraten, der sich als Mitarbeiter ausgegeben hat, aber Mömax selber, arbeitet so nicht. Ach ja und: das Essen ist gut, die Bedienung freundlich und die Preise fair. Lediglich die Schnelligkeit könnte etwas besser sein.

Beautiful beer garden on the Rhine self-service that's why no stars but it's ok food was good the prices also decent schnitzel fries and small salad 13.90 however we had to wait 40 minutes after ordering at the counter

I ordered a small doner kebab box. I waited maybe a minute, then it was ready and I ate it. That was around 2:00 PM. Around 2:30 PM, I got the worst headache. That lasted until 6:00 PM. Then I got home. I was vomiting all night. Now it's 6:30 AM and I've had diarrhea and have been vomiting all night. I will never eat there again.

We were there before the carnival parade and just had a drink. The service was excellent, and when we ordered, two trays full of drinks were promptly brought! Greetings from the Kallengisch marching band.

Honestly, I came here spontaneously because it started to rain and I wanted to escape with a beer. Then I looked at the pictures on Google and spontaneously ordered something to eat. The food was good, the young waiter was super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is lovely. Yes, admittedly, the menu is limited on Mondays and Tuesdays. But I still got something that wasn't on the daily special. Now that's what I call flexibility. The beer, the Federweißer, and the food were really good. As I said, a few dishes weren't available, but it was still very tasty. A lovely, delicious regional dish.
