We went there spontaneously for “brunch”. Actually, it's not a real brunch, but a breakfast buffet followed by a lunch buffet, which certainly justifies the price of EUR 49.90 per person. You are greeted very nicely with a glass of champagne. Drinks are included in the price and there are various wines available for tasting, so you can also do a mini wine tasting. The buffets were professionally prepared and refills were also made. The service staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, the buffet area is quite small, so it is very tight when there are a lot of guests there. The radiators in the guest room were running, but apparently not for long. Therefore it was quite cold at the table, which affected the comfort a bit. Hence 4 gourmet paws from Maksima

Super nice restaurant in a great location. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. The boss's commitment is particularly noteworthy. There was a small mishap with a food order. The wine village then showed itself to be extremely accommodating. Here the guest is valued personally! You simply feel at home in a restaurant run like this! :) We're looking forward to trying out the new wine cosmetics soon :)

Were there for the first time today. Prices are indeed high, but the food, sauerbraten and Jägerschnitzel, was really good. Service was very friendly and accommodating, our dog also received water and treats. The toilets are very clean, the atmosphere is rustic and cozy. We'd love to come back

We had our Christmas party in the wine village. Unfortunately I can't say much positive things. For food there was red cabbage, dumplings and duck. Except for the red cabbage, the food was good. When we complained about it (the red cabbage tasted very floury) we immediately gave new ones. Unfortunately our dessert was forgotten. The service was underground, very unfriendly. I can understand that you are stressed when the house is full, but I have never experienced such unfriendly service. You weren't even allowed to take off your jacket, then she came over and pushed me aside, "I have to get through here immediately," maybe she would have understood if she had been carrying hot plates. In hand - a bottle of wine. We had already survived leaving the restaurant. I will not visit the wine village again and cannot recommend it. There are much better restaurants in Koblenz.

Actually a nice restaurant close to Rheim. The food was tasty, but I understand something different by smoked salmon. My food was a lot, it would have fed two people. At the end when we wanted to pay we felt like we were being ignored. A little music wouldn't have hurt either because you can hear other people without chatter. Very intrusive!

Good food, great view... Nowadays you almost can't afford it anymore. For an over-soured sausage salad with fried potatoes, €19.99 is quite sporty. At the black pudding feast, mashed potatoes were served that were not. Made from floury potatoes that weren't mashed properly and there was no butter or milk! That's €24.99! No response to complaints except that it tastes better in my house. We are from Koblenz and have been eating at Windorf again and again for decades. But today for the last time! Too bad!!!

The quantity was sufficient and the price was poor. My schnitzel for €23.40 had around 130-150 grams. The price of the tarte flambée shown (€21.50) defies description. The drink prices can otherwise only be found in places that are on a different level. Conclusion: Nice celebration, but privately I will spend my money somewhere where the price-performance ratio is right. P.S. And selling an apple strudel from the wholesaler that definitely hasn't seen an oven to heat it up for €11.50 borders on usury.

We spent our Christmas party 2024 here. It was already just below freezing so we mostly stayed indoors. Food and drinks and the buffet were very tasty.

On the banks of the Rhine, certainly very pleasant in summer, typical German inn restaurant. Copious cuisine, decent dishes. Service on the other hand extremely unpleasant almost rude by a mature woman, we were on the verge of leaving.

Very tasty food, nice portions. Very nice service. We were there with a group of 15 people and we were all very satisfied. Happy to recommend.

Were there in summer 2022. The atmosphere is historic and very cozy, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were there with a group of 40 people and were able to bring the cake ourselves, but a flat rate (dishes, dishes, etc.) of €4.80 was charged per person, which is fine. The food was very good and there was a good selection of other drinks in addition to wine.

The apple strudel was warmed up in the microwave and didn't taste good at all and that for €11.50! All the other dishes on the menu also seem completely overpriced! We were invited to brunch in the wine village with a larger group on Sunday morning. First of all, there are only positive things to report. A large selection of cold and warm dishes, starters and desserts were offered in a very good quality. The staff, in this case the chef and waiters, were very nice and eager to offer us a pleasant stay in the beautiful rooms. We can absolutely recommend the Sunday brunch and would be happy to come back.

The wine village is really a beautiful place. However, the food is very average and incredibly overpriced. A salad with salmon costs around 28 euros. The salad dressing is almost unbearable. Way too much vinegar. My large wine spritzer (0.4l) apparently costs 16 euros!!! I ordered it spontaneously without paying any attention to the price beforehand. The service was unfriendly and rude. We definitely won't come back! The wine village could be such an amazing place! Too bad!

We had brunch in the wine village on Sunday with 11 adults and 3 small children. At the beginning there was a champagne reception. We had dinner in the wine village with a group of 8 people and ordered different dishes. The starters were served very quickly and the main courses arrived almost at the same time, which we really appreciated. I had the bruschetta as a starter and was very happy with it. It was richly topped and I recommend eating it with a knife and fork ;-). We visited on July 5th, 24 with 5 people, it wasn't our first visit there, but it will be our last. As always, the food was good enough, although very expensive compared to the competition in Koblenz. But service can make an evening unforgettable and it did here too, unfortunately not in a positive way. The restaurant was largely empty and yet nothing in terms of service worked. Three starters were ordered at the table and we specifically asked if we wanted them BEFORE the main course. We agreed with this and yet the starters and main course were served at the same time. Two of the guests then had the main course returned to keep it warm and eat the starter first. Unfortunately, we were completely forgotten and the rest of the table had almost eaten until we had to tell the waiter that we were still waiting for the food and that he hadn't asked for drinks since the first round of drinks. In the meantime, an attempt was made to get another waitress to help, but she only referred to the actual waiter and complained several times in front of us and other guests about how poorly he generally did his job. Overall, I can say that the beautiful view in a few places in this location unfortunately doesn't justify a visit and I strongly advise against a visit if you don't want to be completely disappointed by poor service.

This also translates in price to sparsely used average goods (over 20 euros). Location on the promenade and absence of competition is exploited. I knew it differently a few years ago. A pity!

It was a nice place. Quite quiet. The server was polite and attentive. It may be a bit more expensive than other places but it's out of town and no more expensive than the hotel. The food was nice, however I did order curried chickpeas and there was definitely no curry in the sauce.

Online diner besteld voor 22€/pp en een wijnarrangement 38€/pp voor 6 wijntjes…jes Het eten was ok maar was niet 22€ maar 39€/pp. Het wijarrangement was vreselijk 1x sekt (aldi kwaliteit) de verdere wijn werden snel opgeschonken in hetzelfde glas, de derde wijn voor het hoofdschotel was miere zoet, natuurlijk allemaal in het zelfde glas. Dit alles werd onprofessioneel afgehandeld. Elk glas had een inhoud van +- 8cl dus voor 38€ had je dus nog geen volledige fles wijn gekregen. Na een verblijf van een 1 - 1/2 uur was de afrekening 170€. Even het geld uit de toeristen persen. In WEINSTUBE aan de kabelbaan wel verschillende lekkere wijnen geproefd en 3x goedkoper.

Hardly ever chose the same restaurant twice during a city travel weekend.. Broke this rule for Weindorf. The location is idyllic and the food excellent. The service is slow (too little staff for too many tables) but who cares... the food and drinks are excellent. Who's in a hurry?

We had a very delicious brunch in the wine village today. The cold and warm buffet left nothing to be desired. Coffee, champagne, beer, wine, water etc. were plentiful included. More than fed up, we had to give up at some point.

Nice location right on the water, yet central and within walking distance of many hotels nearby. Beautiful and cozy outdoor area with the typical beer garden flair, is worth a visit!

Cold beer, delicious food and a waitress Wioletta, who was still super friendly despite the large number of guests. You'll be happy to come back there. A year later (2024) the food was still delicious, the beer was cold and the staff was very nice, but the prices had gone way up. Cheese spaetzle for 21 euros and the slaughter platter for €27.50. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is no longer right here. That's why now only 3 stars.

Simply spectacular. The service was excellent, very polite and pleasant, if you don't speak the language well it doesn't matter, they are very patient, and they also have a menu in English. I ate something typical of the region, a Döppekuchen which was exquisite. If you are in Germany this place is definitely an excellent option, 100% recommended.

We wanted to give up and leave, but unfortunately we waited. Large salad with garlic sauce just plain loveless and musty...for €16, tarte flambée with salmon not baked properly. The fries that went with the schnitzel we ordered looked like they had been fried at least twice to warm them up and had no salt and just tasted rancid. The waitress who was clearing away (plates were all still well filled) asked if it was tasty 😉 the only answer we got was: I'm just clearing away, tell the waitress. Then why the question? We then contacted this older lady with our complaints without success. No concession, no reduction or apology...just very poor service. At the end of the day we were extremely disappointed with the wine village. Absolutely NO recommendation!! They weren't the only ones who complained. We prefer to keep quiet about our feelings afterwards. Never again!

We were in the wine village this afternoon and wanted to eat in the beer garden there. Went there based on recommendations and wanted to convince ourselves. I was wondering whether the wine village is not interested in putting tables and chairs neatly, keeping them clean or simply wiping them down. The wine village doesn't seem to have any brooms; it looked like it was in Sleeping Beauty's sleep. The outdoor area definitely lacked a lot of maintenance here. Unfortunately we were very disappointed here. Nevertheless, it tasted great, that can happen with beef. A tip from a guest to those responsible at the Weindorf. Place more emphasis on the care, cleanliness and order of your beer garden. The eyes eat with you and safety comes first.

Ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen hinsichtlich des Essens nicht verstehen. Wer hier nichts findet, findet wohl nirgendwo was. Sicherlich ist der Preis auf den ersten Blick nicht günstig, aber alle Getränke sind inklusive und dann relativiert sich der Preis. Die Preise der normalen Speisekarte sind wohl gehoben, aber das kann man sich ja vorher anschauen und dann weiß man was auf einen zukommt. Richtig ist, das die Toiletten stark renovierungsbedürftig sind und auch die Sauberkeit könnte besser sein. Grünspan an den Drückern des Pissoirs. Dennoch würde ich jederzeit wiederkommen. Auch das Personal war freundlich und schnell bei den Bestellungen. Weindorf Team weiter so, nur macht was an den Toiletten.

Mountain festival buffet. Only bad. Food cold. Quality underground. Select a 6. Never again - and then for this price. By the way, toilets are a disaster. I got off better with the vouchers. Oh dear. But whatever.

The wine village was always a good address, ... the food served on our last visit was not that wholesome. The schnitzel was swimming in fat and the pepper sauce was a brown sauce with pieces of pepper. The CordonBleu was so dry, it's a shame... However, the service was very, very hard, I have to praise that.

Very nice beer garden, unfortunately in my opinion. after way too expensive. A simple bottle of wine 5.50. Slightly higher quality wines for just under and over €10/glass. Unfortunately, even though only 3 tables were occupied, the service wasn't good that day either. First we waited almost 20 minutes for our glass, then no one showed up for over 45 minutes, so another order was unnecessary. A pity.

We were disappointed. Going to the wine village for a glass of wine seemed like a good idea. Since we are not wine connoisseurs, we made do with bottled wines (red and white). However, what is offered here for this price is not recommended, to say the least. The service also felt like it took forever until we at least received a menu and also seemed very lackluster (even though there wasn't much going on). The location itself has also seen better days and doesn't seem particularly comfortable. Koblenz is no fun. We won't be coming back.

Great restaurant, very nice service and good food. We'd love to come back.

Ich bestellte mir ein Jägerschnitzel mit Pommes und Salat. Der Salat war frisch, knackig und lecker. Auch die Pommes haben mir geschmeckt.
