Beautiful beer garden on the Rhine self-service that's why no stars but it's ok food was good the prices also decent schnitzel fries and small salad 13.90 however we had to wait 40 minutes after ordering at the counter

First of all, the ambiance at the previous owner, "La Beach," was nicer and more comfortable. Under the new owner, it's self-service only, and you have to wait until your order is ready. The Benedictine beer on tap is a positive. Unfortunately, card payments only accept orders of €10 or more, so it loses one star. The employee at the self-service counter was friendly, but seemed unmotivated. I can't comment on the food, as I didn't order it. You now sit directly on wooden chairs, without any cushions...

It looks beautiful. We were there in the afternoon and thought: great for dinner. Then we arrived at 8 p.m., and when we ordered, they said: kitchen closes at 8 p.m. (Friday evening...). Unfortunately, it's not advertised anywhere from the outside, which is a bit annoying... but for the ambiance and the view of the Rhine, it still gets 3 stars...

No, waited 25 minutes for a bratwurst with fries, and then there wasn't even any mustard or ketchup. Best to head to the nearest beer garden.

The portions were a bit small and the service was the absolute minimum, you had to get everything yourself at the counter.

Sorry guys, that's not how it works... self-service is fine! I understand the problem with the staff... but... on a Friday night, a queue for one table, and at 8:01 p.m., no, food only until 8 p.m.... ??? So two of us got food and two didn't? That's German hospitality? Shame on you!!! Once and never again!!!

Great food in a great atmosphere.

People order a bottle of mineral water and sit for long periods in the best spots with beautiful views, looking at their cell phones. Therefore, guests who want to enjoy the river can't. Hence – minus two stars. What a pity.

Neue Bezitzerin met Selbstbedienung , also bestellen an der Bar, abrechnen und abräumen durch den Gast. Obwohl ich als bezahlender Gast keinen Arbeitsvertrag gesehen habe wurde ich doch für die Servicearbeit eingespannt. Die Preise sind hoch und die Qualität des Essens , das in der Friteuse zubereitet wird , ist bescheiden. Schade , vor der Übernahme war der Service gut und das Essen prima. Wieder eine Adresse weniger.

It's okay for a beer by the water. The food is mostly ready-made. Everything is self-service. Parking is free.

Unfortunately not. The lady at the desk was totally overwhelmed. She rolled her eyes when I ordered. 1 Aperol, 1 cappuccino. She made the cappuccino first, by the time the Aperol was ready the cappuccino was cold.

A beautiful beer garden just a cycle path from the Rhine. The beer garden is traditionally self-service. Food (flambée and snack) were very good and fresh. Pricing of the card is difficult to understand. Everything from snapper to expensive dishes. Currywurst with fries cost 10.90. 1/2 chicken or schnitzel Viennese style only 2 euros more. Day tickets seem to be more attractively priced than regular tickets.

Here you can eat and drink well and not expensive! It is self-service.

Price performance ratio a little expensive

Self-service since this year, a beautiful beer garden directly on the promenade. Keep an eye out for ships. We ordered and picked up currywurst & fries twice. Price/performance is consistent. The fries were gold/yellow, crispy and well seasoned. The currywurst was extremely tasty and the sauce was like a currywurst sauce should be. I can only recommend it.

Addendum August 24. The beach is gone. Too bad. Children and just drinkers probably don't bring in enough sales. It wasn't my fault 😉 So my review and I will be gone soon... ---------- I'm only reviewing the new beach area here. Chill out with a view of the Rhine. Subtle, appropriate music. Sun and shade places. Very nice. Unless the little ones discover it as a sandbox. The entire area is larger than shown in my photos. Panorama didn't work 😔 I have to come back again 🍺 By the way, this area is self-service.

The beer garden has a great location and good outdoor seating. The menu was quite clear and actually priced, by no means cheap.

Unfortunately there was a change of ownership in March of this year, the photos with the beautiful ambience are not correct. There is only the beer garden, the food is okay but nothing special. Conclusion: We miss the atmosphere and the food from before!

I think the concept of picking up drinks and food yourself is very good. The price of the food and drinks offered is reasonable for the location of the store. The staff is friendly and courteous.

Exclusively self service, at least for the drinks...The food was served by a person despite the 📟 pager 📟. Nobody understands... The staff is still very friendly and in the digital age, card payments are only possible from 10 euros. Nice to sit and rest. But the food is pretty carelessly prepared and not really tasty. Bratwurst and fries had seen better days. And the whole thing for 10.80 is already sporty...

A really nice terrace, with a great view in the sunshine. The prices for food and drinks are completely okay. Only ketchup and mayo should be sold from a pump bucket, that makes a real portion and the small, shrink-wrapped individual portions produce far too much waste

The old Rhine terrace is finally open again. No longer a beach club but a place to relax. The concept was changed to self-service, which is the result of the well-known staff shortage. Stop experience gastronomy. The food offered is ok. The drinks were cold and 😋. Would love to come back.

There is nothing to complain about. Food delicious, beers delicious and nice and cold, service always friendly and attentive, view great. A nice place to relax. Prices are good, even quite cheap compared to similar places on the Rhine. I would happily recommend it.

After the reopening (new operator?) we treated ourselves to a Aberroll Spritz after a long walk. Unfortunately I found that the quality had deteriorated. Too bad.

The opening hours are supposedly until 10 p.m., but we're there at 8:20 p.m. on a beautiful summer evening. The waitress asked us if we just wanted a drink because she was about to make it. It was very annoying for us because we came especially from Neuwied. Would never visit this restaurant again.

Menu in the showcase very good selection. A heavily discounted summer menu (October 15th) was offered during the visit. Ordered: tarte flambée and mushroom schnitzel. The food was there in 10 minutes. Some of the toppings for the tarte flambée were forgotten and returned to the kitchen. The mushroom schnitzel, the salad was inedible, lots of dressing and the iceberg lettuce had brown leaves. Fried the canned mushrooms and a gravy (thanks Maggi or...). So many fries on the plate, enough for 4 people. Meat is ok, when you cut it the fries fall off the plate. Tastes like it used to in our company canteen.

We sat outside in the well-attended beer garden when the weather was very nice. The service was very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our order! Three very tasty and large tarte flambées and a great cheeseburger. The prices were more than okay. We were very satisfied and can only recommend it! We will be back definitely.

We were served so kindly and courteously 🤩, and were lucky that a band, SAM, was playing, a small Oktoberfest on the Rhine invited people to 💃🕺. It was wonderful. The fries were delicious and a large portion! The starter plate was delicious 😋 and we were well full. We will be back!

Tolles Ambiente und sehr nette Bedienung 👌😊

Hier fühlt man sich wie im Urlaub - am Rhein - tolle Außenanlage - lädt zum verweilen ein. Wir wollten eigentlich nach der Schiffstour noch einen Absacker trinken aber leider ist bereits um 22 h geschlossen - bei dem schönen Wetter eine Schande zumal nicht wirklich "Nachbarschaft" vorhanden ist. Service Personal immer auf Zack - haben nur was getrunken deshalb zum Essen keine Bewertung.

Eine zummengwürfelte Gruppe spielt Restaurant. In der Küche wird irgendwas zusammengeworfen, was sich dann Salat nennt. Die Pommes kalt, den Burger wird duch Sauce schmackhaft gemacht. Die Bedingung hat beim servieren die Finger im Salat. Wenn nix zu tun ist, steht das Personal zu viert/fünft rauchend mit dem Smartphone auf der Terasse.

Sehr schöner Ort kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Die Cocktails waren auch super lecker. Ob als Paar oder mit der Familie für alle gedacht.

Sehr schöner Biergarten neben dem Rhein gelegen. Service war je nach Person sehr freundlich-aufmerksam bzw wirkte etwas zerstreut. Bestellt haben wir die Antipasti-Platte, die man sich gut zu zweit teilen kann, diese können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Dann hatten wir (leider) noch ein Schnitzel, es schmeckte wie ein frittiertes Press-Schnitzel, war auch fest und etwas trocken, also uns hat das nicht geschmeckt.

Wir haben zu dritt den Biergarten, mit schöner Aussicht auf den Rhein, besucht. Das Bedienungspersonal war freundlich, die Abläufe haben noch Luft nach oben. Der Flammkuchen war lecker und kann guten Gewissens empfohlen werden. Der Grund für die fehlenden 2 Sterne ist dem Kuchen geschuldet. Die Auswahl war klein und bestand nur zwischen Kirsch bzw. Apfelstreusel. Das bestellte Stück kostete ohne Sahne 2,50 Euro und war aussergewöhnlich klein. Als zahlender Gast kam ich mir veräppelt vor. Dies bescheinigten uns auch 2 Damen vom Nebentisch welche ebenfalls Kuchen bestellt hatten.

Wir haben zwar nicht gegessen, aber es sah alles sehr lecker aus. Wir kommen gerne wieder denn das Personal war sehr freundlich von zuvorkommend

Sehr gutes Essen. Schönes Ambiente. Laute Musik. Warum das Personal jemand ü60 fast 70 duzt ist mir nicht verständlich.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Haben nur Tee getrunken und uns dabei auf der Terasse sehr wohl gefühlt.

Stellplätze in Limburg sind sehr eng, unter Bäumen, es ist nicht gestattet Stühle rauszustellen, ist auch kein Platz, es ist verboten den anliegenden Campingplatz zu betreten um vielleicht mal zu duschen. Der Ort selber lohnt sich zu besuchen

Hardwerkende en zeer vriendelijke serveerster! Het eten was zeer matig, we vonden het eigenlijk helemaal niet lekker. Daarnaast miste het aandacht en aankleding, wat ook gold voor het terras.

Wir waren zusammen mit unserer Familie, insgesamt 18 Personen, zu Rhein in Flammen in den Rheinterassen(hatten einen Tisch reserviert).Der Service war, trotz hoher Besucherzahlen, sehr freundlich. Wegen Rhein in Flammen wurde eine kleinere Speisekarte angeboten, war aber für jeden etwas dabei. Die Getränke waren nach ca 20 Minuten am Tisch,beim Essen dauerte es etwas länger, ca 1 Stunde,war aber wohl der hohen Besucherzahl geschuldet. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt, kommen gerne wieder.

Kleine Speisekarte, dafür geschmacklich hervorragend. Alles frisch und eine nette Bedienung. Preis Leistungs-Verhältnis. Super. Wir kommen wieder.

Entgegen der vielen negativen beurteilungen hinsichtlich der speisen, kann ich nur sagen, das essen war vorzüglich. Schnitzel super, pommes gut und kross, flammkuchen spitze und hamburger hat meinem kollegen auch sehr gemundet. Die snackplatte als vorspeise für 4 personen war klasse. Wir werden wieder ein kollegentreffen dort veranstalten. Bedienung flott, freundlich und aufmerksam. Ps. Dort gibt es leckeren koffeinfreien kaffee.

Ganz netter Ort zum Essen. Das Essen passt soweit, dafür dass es nicht ganz günstig ist war die Portion Übersichtlich. Aber bei den Heutigen Preisen möchte ich daraus keinen Strick drehen. Würde wohl wieder kommen, wenn ich in der Nähe bin und etwas essen will. Der Burger/Pommes waren nur etwas trocken, ein Dip für die Pommes wäre ganz schön gewesen.

Ambiente etwas karg. Essen kam trotz großer Gruppe heiß auf den Tisch aber ich hatte den Eindruck das daß Schnitzelfleisch Tiefkühlkost ist. Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu meckern.

Nette und schnelle Bedienung, sehr viele Junge Leute - da herrscht scheinbar kein MA Mangel- Prima. Getränke schön gekühlt. Essen diesmal :Cheeseburger- Körbchen trockene Pommes dazu. Fleisch pupstrocken- fertige Paddies aus der TK, Scheiblette. Ne nicht nochmal. Da schmeckt es hier beim Imbiss ja besser. Danach Cappuccinodurst- ist nicht, um 20 Uhr ist die Maschine sauber. 21:30 Uhr beginnt das große aufräumen. Dann kassieren, weil 22 Uhr schluss ist. Och nee- im Sommer bei super Wetter könnte man flexibel sein. Wohnt keiner da unten, Musik bräuchte man nicht mehr so laut und dann könnte man ein paar Bedienungen ja Schluss machen lassen.

Ambiente ist sehr schön, Essen ist mäßig, Service ist leider total überfordert. Selbst auf ein Getränk haben wir ewig gewartet.

Lovely biergarten on the Rhein with attentive and friendly staff. Great place to stop on a bike ride. Enjoyed it so much we went there twice during our trip around Koblenz area. Try the Somersalat with hahnchen and a cold beer. Excellent!

Die Bedienung begann stark und konnte das Niveau halten. Das Ambiente spricht für sich *top. Leider waren wir von dem großen Unterschied zwischen dem Angebot und dem tatsächlichen dargereichtem, erstaunt. Schade bessere Küche=top Bewertung. :-(
